Panasonic Lumix DMC-LX3
Hi,
I'm wondering wether anybody has created a profile (RAW) for that camera? I really would appreciate hearing from you.
Thanks,
Marco
Thanks - I didn't know that certain camera models do not require their own profile but are corrected automatically by LR3. I checked the LR manual, but couldn't find a word about that fact.
Is there a list of cameras which do not need a camera profile (other than Panasonic .RW2 files)?

Marco

Camera Raw update for Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ1000
Hi.
I have Elements 11 and need to update it to open .raw files shot with the Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ1000. I can't find the link where I can download the camera raw update.
Can you please help me?
Thanks.Hi,
The FZ1000 requires camera raw 8.6 which is NOT compatible with PSE 11.
You will need to upgrade to PSE 13 or use the DNG converter.

Will the Panasonic Lumix DMC-TZ10 work with my Intel Core 2 MBP?
Will the Panasonic Lumix DMC-TZ10 work with my Intel Core 2 MacBook Pro and/or will I have to upgrade OSX & iLife (£122GBP). Have seen that AVCHDLite is not directly compatible with Mac, but the articles are mostly 2 yrs old the panasonic website proudly displays the iPhoto and iMovie compatible icons http://panasonic.net/avc/lumix/compact/zs7_tz10/. Have chosen this as a quality compact camera with wide angle lens, powerful optical zoom & a marine housing.
AVCHD is not compatible with iPhoto but is with iMovie - not sure about AVCHDLite

Panasonic lumix dmc-fz28?
will panasonic lumix dmc-fz28 raw file (.rw2) processing be added to acr anytime soon?
You might want to read through this thread:
Richard Earney, "LR2 Does Not Support .rw2 RAW File" #1, 12 Aug 2008 9:41 pm
Apparently Adobe and Panasonic are trying to work through some "issues".
ACR updates generally come out quarterly so you can always hope.
Also just to let you know, Adobe team members and frequent posters in this forum can get a little grumpy with people who ask about when their camera will be supported in ACR. From the customer side it is a little hard to understand the attitude but from their side I guess it is a little like the kids in the backseat asking "are we there yet" for the 50th time. Just to prepare you a bit. -
How can i use Nikon D 7100 and Panasonic Lumix DMC-LF1 with Photoshop CS 5 Camera Raw?
How can i use Nikon D 7100 and Panasonic Lumix DMC-LF1 with Photoshop CS 5 Camera Raw?
The one needs 7.4 (or better), the other 8.1, so Photoshop CS5 with ACR6 is not up to the task.
The free DNG Converter could be used to convert the RAW images to DNG which your version of ACR should be able to process. -
Is there ever going to be RAW compatibility with the Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ28 added to Aperture 3?
It's a good camera which I think has been overlooked in this area?
Any advice you good people?Hello,
I don't know when but you can send a message to Apple so they can add that in a next update (not 100% sure but you can try).
Go here : http://www.apple.com/feedback/aperture.html and in the Feedback Type select : Harware compatibility. -

Can anyone post links to ACR camera profiles for the Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ200 and/or a profile for its lens: Leica DC Vario-ELMARIT 1:2.8/4.5-108 ASPH

Camera Raw-compatible Adobe applications
Camera Raw 7.2 - which is only compatible with Elements 11 or later.
Alternatively, download the free Adobe DNG converter, convert all the FZ200 Raw files to DNGs then edit the DNGs in Elements 6

Note that for the LX2 you have to follow the instructions for the LX1 but write LX2 instead. It works a beauty for me

Does Aperture support RAW files from a Panasonic LUMIX DMC-FZ27 camera?
Please can anyone let me know whether Aperture supports RAW files from a Panasonic LUMIX DMC-FZ27 camera? The Apple Aperture site lists support for DMC-F35 and other later cameras but does not allow a search for others.
Many thanks.
JohnOnly the cameras on this list are supported: Apple - Aperture - Technical Specifications - RAW Support
Th FZ27 is not.
For my Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ28 I am using Adobe's free DNG Coverter to convert the RAW files to DNG. It does not always work, but for most of the RW2 files I can work in Aperture this way. The stubborn files I convert to TIFF.

Panasonic Lumix DMC-ZS50 camera profile
I have a Panasonic Lumix DMC-ZS50. I am running Lightroom 5 on a 27” Mac Retina 5k.
I got the Adobe DNG converter so I can load the raw files into Lightroom. The only camera profile available to me in Camera Calibration is Adobe Standard. Will a future Lightroom update include anything for my camera?
In the meantime, can you recommend preset settings that would better match my jpeg color and lighting? This is a user-to-user forum.
Nobody here can tell you what future plans Adobe has for camera profiles for specific cameras.

IPhoto does not import HD video/MTS files for Panasonic Lumix DMC-LX5.
Hello, everyone. I'm using iPhoto '11 on an iMac i7. I recently bought the Panasonic Lumix DMC-LX5, which records HD video (AVCHD Lite). When I insert the memory card into my iMac, it recognizes and imports all photos. However, the videos are left on the memory card, and I cannot even view them in iPhoto. When looking directly in the memory card, I can see the videos (they are MTS files), but nothing will play them. Is there other software I must install to be able to view/edit these video files. I'd like to see them in iPhoto, and then edit them in iMovie like I was able to with my standard definition camera. Any help is appreciated.
Thanks.I have the same camera as you. You can import the files, but you have to convert them manually first, witch takes a couple of secounds.
1. Download and install the automator script from this blog and put it in your dock http://blog.sharkus.com/2010/04/avchd-lite-iphoto-importing.html
2. locate the folder /Private/AVCHD/BDMV/STREAM on your memory card
3. Drag your desired videofile (e.g. 000001.mts) on the automator script you put in your dock in step 1.
4. whait (a couple of secounds, depending file size)
5. Drag your new videofile (e.g. 000001.mts.m4v) to iphoto
6. Finished
Do not try to convert more than two files a once, then the script doesn't work properly.
I hope apple will include support for mts-files very very soon!! -
Support for Panasonic Lumix DMC G3K
I have recently bought the Panasonic Lumix DMC G3K and discovered that neither LR or CS5 will support the raw files. The irony is that LR is part of the package when you buy this camera before the end of Aug. When will Adobe support this camera?
Adobe releases regular update with new camera support. One ought to be along before too long.

When raw for panasonic lumix dmc-fz45, when raw for panasonic lumix dmc-fz45
When raw for panasonic lumix dmc-fz45?
We don't know Apple's plans - this is a User to User Forum. Send feedback to Apple that you want your camera to be supported.
The latest raw support has been released just two days ago, so it probably will be at least a month or longert till the next release. The list of currently supported cameras is here:
Apple - Aperture - Technical Specifications - RAW Support
