Panasonic TV models compatible with Freetalk Confe...

Hi all,
Can someone provide me the list of Panasonic TV compatible models for Freetalk Conference HD camera? I am interested in TX-L*E30 (TV LED). Any experience with this particular model?
Thanks
Kuba

Here I am again just to give you my personal feedback on the compatibility between the TALK-7181 web camera and the TX-L*E30E Panasonic LED TV.
Good news is: that they work fine together
Bad news is: you have to combine a lot of things before the two can work together
Here is the check list:
1) The firmware version of the web camera is the last one, i.e. 27.03, see the "Support" tab on the web page:http://freetalk.ebuynow.com/it/ebuynow/catalog/product/view/id/125/category/31#tab-att-support
2) The firmware of the Panasonic TV is also the last one, see:http://panasonic.jp/support/global/cs/tv/download/fw/index.html
3) The Windoz Skype program (used on the other side of the Skype call) is again the last one (does it work on Mac or Linux?)
4) You have to configure the TV Skype application until you get the camera test screen under the following path: "Settings->Advanced->Device Configuration->Image", where you can set the image performances.
There is only one problem: the most interesting set-up screen under: "Settings->Advanced->Device Configuration->Camera" does not work !

  • Panasonic PV-GS500 compatible with Final Cut HD EXPRESS

Is the Panasonic PV-GS500 compatible with the HD express software. I've heard it will work with the MAC and it has a firewire, but will it work with the HD express software?
    Thank you!

I'm new to Apple and FCP and I understand your frustration. (Been over in the MS/UNIX world for 21+ years) When I decided to get FCE, I did quite a bit of research, found and read the FCP/FCE forums and choose a Sony MiniDV camcorder based on the experiences others had with simular Sony products. I bought it from a reputable store that I could return it to if it wouldn't talk to FC.
Keep in mind with your tire anology that there are Federal laws governing compliance with specifications for tires. There are no laws govering FW implementations. The biggest issue is usually the camcorder manufacturer, not Apple. Apple has no control over how camcorder manufacturers implement the Firewire standards. Canon is notorious for poor FW implementations while Sony and Panasonic seem to get it right most of the time.
Printers are another story entirely. Almost everyone with a computer uses a printer. Apple knows this and therefore expends more resources to test compatability for the wider audience.
Prosumer Digital cameras are relatively easy. They use USB and flash memory cards for data transfer. They don't use FW to control a camera or deck. The don't have to worry about mutiple data streams for video and audio or about codecs and frame rate. They just transfer files.
If you're talking about professional cameras like Haselblad, there are specific capture software packages made by other (PhaseOne comes to mind) companies that take care of the transfer and testing compatability.
Ian is right, FC is a very specialized area in the larger general use computing scope, so it unforunately gets less resources for things like compatability testing.
Personally I'd rather Apple stick to making better computers (like the MacPro and MacBooks) and keep spending the money on developing and testing better versions of FC.

  • HT4101 Is the Panasonic lumix tz20 compatible with the iPad air lightning cable?

Is the Panasonic lumix compatible with the iPad air lightning to USB camera adaptor?

No reason to think its not. The USB adapter is universal. So unless there is something fundamentally different about the Lumix USB interface, or thewy way it stores images on its memory card it should work.

  • Panasonic HC V720 compatible with iMovie

Can someone let me know if the Panasonic HC V720 camcorder is compatible with the latest version of iMovie.

If you are using iMovie with the lates version '11, you can know the answer from the site "http://help.apple.com/imovie/cameras/en/index.html"
You will find Panasonic HC-V720 (Both PAL nad NTSC) is compatible with iMovie 11. But you should notice that iMovie does not support footage recorded in 1080-50p/60p from this Camcorder. You'd better avoid shooting videos in the formats.
If you have got some these videos and wanna editing them for sharing, you can use FCP X, Adobe, Sony Vegas, ect NLE's to work with1080-50p/60p recordings, or you can convert MTS to iMovie's native format (AIC) before importing to iMovie.

    Dear MPearce100
Thank you for your inquiry. IMovie and Final Cut are not compatible with
the "high picture quality technology" of the AVCHD video.
will need to wait for Apple to update it's video editing software to
process the new "high picture quality technology" of the AVCHD video. You

  • Next G models compatible with car kits and antenna...

    Help!
I currently have a CK-7W car kit with a soon to be obsolete 6235 CDMA handset. I am frustrated by the lack of quality handsets available on Telstra's new Next G service. The current 6120 Nokia only has bluetooth connectivity and no patch lead connectivity to external aerial. Has anyone heard if Nokia will be releasing a Next G model that will have a cradle compatible with the CK-7W car kit or any other hard wired car kit/antennae coupler or patch lead compatibility?

    Make/Model: BMW 325I
    Year: 2006
Carkit  Model info: Latest firmware for the 3-series.
Details: Will not connect with bluetooth carkit. Both bluetooth and Pre discover each other but does not connect with each other. The Pre shows that its connected with the car but the car does not connect to the phone.
    webOS: 1.4.0
    Included in compatibilty list: Yes
It connected and paired up fine before the update to webOS 1.4.0, had no issues with 1.3.5.1. The phonebook functionality also worked fine with the previous version of WebOS

  • Is a Panasonic NV-GS180B compatible with iMovie HD?

I have iMovie version 6.03 and am considering purchasing an NV-GS180B.
I notice some people on this forum have reported problems with iMovie import but the posts are quite old. Is anyone using this camcorder successfully? Or are there still problems.
    Thanks for info.

Welcome to iMovie Discussions, and Happy New Year!
    It should work perfectly.
I use a fairly similar Panasonic NV-GS150, and have no problems importing into iMovie.

  • Airport Extreme (2005 model) compatible with PCs?

Hello, been a while since Ive been on the boards maybe you can help.
Have an airport extreme base station from 2005. Mac powerPC G5 tower and Macbook are both connecting fine. However, HP pc and dell laptop recieve 'limited or no connectivity', even though both PC models can see
the airport device. They show 'excellent' signal strengh, yet cannot access
the web via the airport extreme. Not sure how they can see the airport if
they are not compatible, perhaps my setting are not in order. Any info
    appreciated, thank you!

The 2005 AirPort Extreme base station (AEBS) creates a standard 802.11b/g wireless network. Therefore any device capable of connecting to a standard 802.11b/g wireless network can connect to the network provided by the AEBS.

  • Panasonic sdr h18 compatible with imovie

I was told downloading quicktime mpeg 2 will make my videos work with imovie. The same people said some things wouuldn't-like sound.I just had a baby and want to edit my videos . Finding time to figure out how to make this work is impossible.I thought digital and hard drive seemed up to date technology.Instead of analog tape.Mini dv doesn't work with my imac g5.Are there better ways to make this work with my system?

    bluefish23225,
MiniDV is digital, and will work if it has a firewire connection on the camera, which is part of the MiniDV standard.
Some Hard Drive based camera's will work in iMovie '08. MPEG-2 is not supported even with the MPEG-2 playback component, because the files are "muxed".

    Hope this helps,
    Nathan C.

  • Is my Panasonic HDC-MDH1 compatible with iMovie

I have the above video camera but it cant open the files.

This camera should work fine. It records in 50i and is AVCHD compliant.
I would suggest plugging the SDHC card into your Mac or into a USB Card reader. iMovie should see it.
If it does not, in iMovie use FILE/IMPORT FROM CAMERA.
If it still does not work, try a blank SD card and use the menus of the camera to format it (or initialize it) and try again to shoot some footage and import.
If you decide to hook up the camera via USB rather than use a card reader, be sure the camera is using AC power (not batteries only.)

  • Iconia W700 not compatible with Windows 10?

Acer website list a bunch of models compatible with win10, i saw w701, w701p, but no w700 ? i don't quite understand why, and i did try update my w700 to the latest win8.1 version, and still no the get win10 app in task tray? anyone with any luck?

@haryadi_aja What version of windows 8.1 did you have?  Most W700s come with Windows 8.1 (regular version).  When you right click on the windows / start button and click on system, does it say your product is activated? If You're running Windows 8.1 (regular version) you only qualify for the free upgrade to Windows 10 Home edition.  Not the Pro edition.  So make sure you are upgrading to the correct edition.   If your product is not activated for whatever reason, (pirated copy, forgot to click activate, trying out tech previews) just use the windows 8.1 media creation tool to install regular windows 8.1 from USB.  This will use the hardcoded serial key in your w700s bios to activate windows.  Once thats done, try upgrading to windows 10 using the windows 10 media creation tool.  This should make everything activated and link your activation to your microsoft account. Once done, you should be able to install windows 10 from scratch with no problems.  Let me know how it goes.

  • Panasonic compatability issue with Freetalk Everym...

can you tell me if my Freetalk Everyman Camera (model Talk-7140) will work with my Panasonic HD Digital TV Recorder model: DMR-HW100EBK and my Panasonic Viera 42" Plasma TV model: TX-P42X10B ?

    Unfortunately that camera isn't compatible.
The Panasonic TV cameras have been specially designed to work in the living room. Using a standard webcam on your TV would result in extremely poor video and audio quality.
The two cameras compatible with your Panasonic TV and recorder are:
    Panasonic TV-CC10W
    and Freetalk Panasonic Camera (Talk-7182)
    Best wishes
