Pandora Widget - No sound??

The Pandora widget showed up on our Fios Widgets here in North Central Texas in late October. When I tried it, set it up, it came right up and worked fine except--- no sound! All the other widgets with sound (you tube etc.) function just fine.
Called support and did online chat to try and fix the problem. I was online for and hour and a half before the technician finally gave up. I later got a call later that they decided it was some sort of network problem. That was Nov. 9. The widget is still there, but still produces no sound.
Any one else have this kind of problem? Was it fixed? Does your pandora widget work properly?

Pandora Widget no longer working - how to get a web clip to work instead?

The Pandora widget was one of my favorites and now no longer seems to be working. So, I tried to make a webclip of the player and that worked fine. Awesome! But, it only works with the dashboard open and stops playing once I go back to working. Anyone know a way to keep it playing?

Ok here is how to fix your issue, go back into dashboard while hovering over your clip a little "i" shows up in the bottom right, then uncheck (only play in dashboard).

Pandora Widget not working

When Pandora selected message: "set top box unable to receive data. Try later appears. " This appears on all my boxes.
Rebooted boxes...no change. In NY area.

Based on your post I tested and saw the same issue in VHO3 (Southern California). So I opened a private case on a forum I monitor. They immediately responded with thanks for bringing it to their attention and said they would get it worked. It seems they have -- the Pandora widget is now functioning properly here in VHO3.

Trouble with sound on new DVR only on playing Pandora Widget

I just got another DVR for our bedroom, already have one in Den. Only on the new DVR do I have the problem of no sound when I try to play songs on Pandora. The station comes up and all my choices are there and a song is playing by all indications but no sound. My other DVR that I've had works perfect. Called tech support and they rebooted my router and my DVR but no help. She said she would send this issue up the line LOL. Maybe someone here can tell me what is wrong?

No Audio from Pandora Widget...

The widget loads fine and everything. I just don't hear any audio when music is playing. I don't understand what's going on because the Audio for regular shows work fine. It's just thay widget.Does anybody know the cause (or fix) for this?

The internal switch is stuck.
Insert the earphone jack several times.
Blow real hard into the audio output ort.
Take a toothpick and jiggle inside the audio output port.
If no success, visit the Apple store genius bar.

No sound or wifi widget

my z2 with lollipop has lost widgets of sound, gps, wifi, etc
so I don't have direct access o direct button on screen to silence my z2 or turn on/off my wifi
those buttons are essentials!!!!!

Loss of sound (notifications, phone calls, etc) after 1.3.1

What I did:
I was listening to NFL radio cast hooked up through an iHome with a 3.5mm cable. I disconnected the cable and then closed the application. Sound for the Notifications then was controlled solely by the volume for stuff like NFL radio or Pandora; the side buttons or the slider bar in the settings did nothing.
I then noticed my "swissh" when I throw away cards disappeared and I could not hear anyone through my ear piece when they called, nor could they hear me speaking. However, if I had the call on bluetooth or speakerphone, it worked correctly. Basically, my sound was all sorts of messed up.
To rectify the problem: I plugged in a 3.5mm headphone jack into the top and opened up pandora. The sound played through the car stereo and the "swissh" came back. I then shut down the phone, unplugged the cable, and turned the phone back on.
Now the sound works in my ear piece, the person on the other end can hear me, the "swissh" is back, and the speaker for Pandora works. However, the volume bar for the notifications still does nothing to alter the volume.
Any ideas whats going on? I listen to Pandora on a daily basis, and if I have to restart my phone after every time I unplug the headphones...

This has been attributed by most people to be a hardware issue that affects many types of phone. The issue seems to be with the auto-sensing in the headphone jack. Sometimes it still thinks there is something plugged in when there is not. I have seen many "fixes" posted for this issue such as: plugging and unplugging headphones repeatedly until it turns off, putting in a q-tip to clean it out, using compressed air to blow it out, some type of oil (can't remember what), or taking it to Sprint and having one of their technicians do their thing. From what I have seent this is not Palm's fault (unless they bought a cheap sensor that others are using as well) but is irritating nonetheless and it would be nice to see Palm either do something about it or acknowledge the issue and tell people what to do.

Overlapping sound of video in IE

Hi, I have an issue with video with Internet Explorer 9 & 10. I put videos in lightbox in Muse, everythig is perfect in chrome, safari & firefox, but in Internet Explorer, when I click outside de lightbox to close the widget, the sound continu... and, in the lightbox, when I click the next button, I can hear the sound of the previous video and the video on the page.
Anyone have an idea????

By default this functionality is not available through Connect. However, you could use a device like a THAT-2 to broadcast the audio from the video over the phone.

Sound Juicer - no mp3 selection, have all required packages

I can export to MP3 in Audacity just fine. I also swear I saw mp3 in the dropdown menu last week, but haven't actually ripped any CDs on this Arch install. I have the ugly plugins, I have lame, I have codecs, but the mpeg encoding options don't show up in Sound Juicer.
What might I be missing?

Is there something missing there? It shouldn't matter right? the dropdown menu should still show something right?
For what it's worth the default Mpeg2 profile also doesn't show.
M4A, OGG, FLAC, all show properly.

FiOS TV Is the First to Make Pandora Widely Available to Subscribers --- really?

Was very excited because I live in Virginia in a FIOS featured community just minutes from Verizon headquarters. But it turns out that the Pandora Widget is not available to everyone in Virginia. I chatted with Technical Support and the response was that it has not been deployed to our "Message Center". Not sure what that means and they could not give me an approximate deployment date.
Would truly appreciate any information regarding this concern.

That is precisely how it should work. Check out the Pandora help files for a full explanation. Your artist selection is used as a seed to select similar songs, using their secret sauce ... er, algorythm. This gives you songs you didn't know about that share musical qualities with your "seed" songs. You can further refine the selection by "voting up" or "voting down" selected songs.

The Doors doesn't sound good

Some of you might be thinking Doors don't make sound or something like that. The Doors is an old band I listen to. They don't sound as good as the other downloaded music stuff I have like Black Rain. It's sort of hard to hear their voices... The Equalizer Vocal Booster doesn't sound good either. On Pandora Radio it sounds good.
Also is an m4a file a iTunes ONLY file? I do not want my music appearing in WMA. Especially some songs that are kind of childish... Erm.... Yeah...

.m4a files are regular AAC format which is one of the formats you can use to rip your own CD's into iTunes. Any hardware that is compatible with unprotected AAC format can play that time of file. I'm not sure, but I don't think that AAC is compatible with WMP which is what I think you mean. WMA is another type of format that is PC compatible only. If you are talking about store purchases, there are 2 types of files, protected AAC format, .m4p, & purchased AAC format which is also a .m4a file. The purchased AAC is the new DRM free format that is available from EMI records in the store. Hope this helps.

Distorted sound coming from 5S

All of a sudden, during some text messaging, the normal sound came out garbled,like a blown speaker. I checked music from Pandora, same distorted sound.

Also, I have tried restarting my computer, messing with the audio settings, and various other settings that I thought might help.

Navigation Widget "Edit Together" Problems

Admittedly, I am just now learning Muse so I do not know what I am doing. Here is my practice site:

Issue:
I created a MENU / HORIZONTAL widget, but the Edit Together feature stops working.
The menu horizontal widgets have three components that you click through to edit each level:
The whole nav bar
The cell the text cell is in
The text cell — and of course editing the text at this level.
It is that second click that I am talking about. To that cell I want to give a color. When I designate a color the color is not applied to the other cells in the nav menu at the same level. Edit Together is checked. So I ended up manually assigned a fill color for each link.
Now if I create a fresh horizontal widget the fill of the above mentioned level works. Why the original one does not fill I cannot figure out.
This has now happened a second time on new widget I just created:
The widget is designed using the "Manual" feature for the ABOUT sub pages ( http://burkeauto.businesscatalyst.com/about.html ). I am using "Manual" instead of the "All Pages" feature since I cannot get the look I want.
Two things are going on that I don't understand:
When you go to any sub page BUT HISTORY the active state is not correct. It should be black. This is the color I dictated through the HISTORY link using "Edit Together" feature. The other states worked fine, but not the active state.
Now go to the HISTORY link. All the other menus on this level take on the active state color (black) even though you are on the HISTORY page.

No, I did work in the desired state (99% sure) and I manually went into each nav link to correct what Edit Together did not do. Edit Together did work on the the states.
The sub menu has a similar problem with a little twist: the HISTORY active is applied to all the sub menu nav links.

Is there anyway to use the ipad2 as a bluetooth headset?

Well that is my initial question.
i have well searched the internet for the answer but haven't found anything really relevant to my search.
i have a few tablets in my house for my kids, visitors, and for my wife and me. This question arose when i connected my iphone 4s to my hp touchpad.
Webos has a feature to connect my phone to the touchpad and use it as a secondary dialer and receiver for phone calls as the tablet itself has a mic, and speakers. ( Basically for those who have used a bluetooth headset, hands-free receiver in car, it is just that).
The neat feature of this is, when my kids are running around playing with my phone, or my phone is lost somewhere in the house or in my jacket, the tablet can be connected to the phone wherever it is in the house, and still receive the calls from my tablet.
Now for the people who will ask, why are you going to put a tablet to your face. No that is not the case. it's like using your bluetooth receiver in your car. i will listen through the speakers and speak to the mic of the hp touchpad. like a speaker phone. *i know for a fact that tablets in korea are made to make and receive calls just like a phone, But america just wants to limit everything for their people. you may really think how stupid is it to use a tablet as a phone but it really isn't. like i said before they either use a headset or use it like a speaker phone.
THIS comes VERY handy as while i am working on my car in my workshop, browsing the internet or looking through my FSM on my ipad, i can receive a call and not miss it. Sometimes i will miss the call because i am using my ipad2 to listen to pandora through my sound system and won't even hear my phone, or even my phone may be on vibrate.
For my wife this feature is GREAT, while she is in the kitchen she was able to receive calls easily because she was using it to look through receipes. all she had to see is the number and hit the green call button when a call came with one touch. she didn't have to wash her hands, dry, and then reach for the phone. i mean she was saying that she wanted another touchpad just for this purpose alone. ( also for those who don't know the touchpad has crazy speakers )
The hp touchpad does this and i am wondering WHY the ipad2 cannot. the BT tech is there.
you may also ask, why not use the hp touchpad? ... that is for my kids, and all my info is on the ipad2. also down to earth the ipad2 cost me more.
why not just use a speakerphone or a bluetooth headset? they are so annoying while you are working on your car. a speaker phone might be a good alternative but why buy something when it's something i may be able to do with my ipad2.
so is there a solution? even in the jailbroken community? i am willing to do whatever it may take to accomplish this because then it might be a neat feature.
so please i know this was long but i feel that there might be others who might want to use this type of feature.

ok that is understandable and fully reasonable. but tech is tech. when one is made to do everything it can also be limited through the code.
Would anyone be able to make or program something to override the code and just use it to send/receive through the hardware. like said the bluetooth tether feature was not doable but mywi was able to through jailbreaking.
what i am asking is, would be it possible?

Use of Edge Composition in iBooks Author, a question

Hi folks!
I'm using with great pleasure Adobe Edge Animate 1.0 to make Html Widgets for Apple iBooks Author!
In a composition, I've defined this variable:

and made it play:
track1.play();
All it works but...what if I want that - when I go out from the widget on iBooks on iPad - the track pauses?
I've coded this in my index.html file inside the widget:
