Panel dissapear when select a row in a table

Question

Using JDev 11.1.1.3
I have this very strange behaviour in my application...
I have an af:panelGroupLayout with some buttons and below that panel i have a table with single line selection. When i select a record, the panel just dissapears...
I don't see an error in the output.
anybody has a clue what this could be?
If it matters... The panel and the table is a child of a showDetailItem

I believe this is a bug in rendering of the ADF portlets.
I am not creating a fusion web application but a portlet producing application with ADF portlets.
In a regular web application, i also don't get this issue but when you use it in a portlet, you get this strange behaviour...
Just by adding autorowheights to the attributes of the table solved the issue.
