Panel tab shows up, but panel is blank

Hello Everyone,
I've created a File Info for CS5 panel using the generic panel. As I've been working on it, it shows up just fine on my workstation. The panel's folder has been distributed to three other workstations, and on two of them only the name on the panel's tab shows up and the panel is blank. On the third one, it shows up just fine. The panel folder has been placed into "Macintosh HD:Library:Application Support:Adobe:XMP:Custom File Info Panels:3.0:panels" on every workstation. All of the workstations are Mac's. All of the Mac's have the same OS and up to date CS5 installations. I think I'm overlooking the obvious and I just don't see it.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Dave,
from what I read I guess that you have distributed the panel, but not the Flash Player trust file to the workstations.
It has to be installed (or manually created) on each workstation in the path:
/Users/<username>/Library/Preferences/Macromedia/Flash
Player/#Security/FlashPlayerTrust
You create a text file "MyTrustFile.cfg" which contains your panel path in a single line (using slashes, not colons).
You can find more details in our SDK programmers guide.

Let's double-check your iMac's Internet Sharing configuration:
To setup for Internet Sharing (Wired to Wireless):
Setup the Network
Cable Modem > (Ethernet cable) > \[Ethernet port] iMac > (wireless) > MacBook
Enable Software Firewall (iMac)
System Preferences > Security > Firewall
o Block all incoming connections (enabled)
Enable Internet Sharing (iMac)
System Preferences > Sharing
o Select "Internet Sharing" from the options in the left column
o Share your connection from: Built-in Ethernet
o To computers using: AirPort (checked) (Note: Uncheck all other entries in the list.)
AirPort Options... (iMac)
o Network Name: <anything you want>
o Channel: Automatic
o Enable encryption <do NOT enable at this time>
o Click OK
o Select "Internet Sharing" again
o Click "Start" to start Internet Sharing
o Click Start
Please verify these settings, and try accessing the Internet from the MacBook again. For this exercise, I suggest co-locating the MacBook with the iMac.

Hi,
most probably you have a css problem in your page that refers
to z-index. Check to see which one, the menu or the tabbed panel
(if you added a z-index) have the z-index value grater. Normally
the menu bar should have a bigger z-index to be displayed in top of
the other elements.
If you use the Spry menu bar and the Tabbed panel you don't
have this problem.

Panel tab show item taskflows

Hi All,
I have a jspx page with paneltab which has 5 showitems.
i am draging and drop first taskflow into each showitem .it is asking parameter .
the first task flow has a router it routes to two taskflows .
Basing on the first taskflow parameter it is navigating to other taskflows .
Now in the second taskflow i have method call and fragment . In this taskflow first method call will load and then it navigates to the page .
and third taskflow also same . i am keeping second taskflow into 2 showitems and third taskflow in 3 showitems.
basing on the showitem clik i have to show different content in the same fragment .
How can i know that in the second and third taskflow that someone cliked on show item one or showitem two like that .

in project by default: tab1 tied show details item with input component in jsff page
here my explanation.
while hit the button popup should shows, in that popup form a clone of tab1 - show detial item 1 with input components.
forming clone will reduce my entire work. or otherwise i want to do put tabbage1 and revalent thing again in that popup also so lot of bindings. bla bla.
note : i changed my subject. i read subject twice it is somewhat far from my need.

I need help troubleshooting the App Store. I show that I have 8 updates, but my screen is blank

Fix: At least for me. I tried everything suggested and no luck. I then used four fingers and swiped up to reveal the icon bar or whatever you call it. I then long pressed on any of the icons until the negative sign shows up and I then pressed the negative sign on each and every icon until there were none left. I then pushed the physical button so I was on the main screen again and tried the app store again and selected the updates tab. They then all finally loaded. Click like if this works for you.

Why does the new firefox sync not sync my bookmarks on my Iphone? The history and tabs show up, but bookmarks do not.

Ever since I updated to the new Firefox sync my bookmarks have stopped showing up on my iphone Sync for Firefox. I even downloaded the Apollo browser, but bookmarks still are not showing. Can someone help?

Firefox 29 has a new version of Sync, so whatever you're using on the iPhone for Sync will need to be updated to be compatible with the new Sync.

Ie 8 - tab shows connecting but does not connect

IE 8...have reset ie properties, rebooted, un-installed and re-installed.   Am able to connect from safe mode w/ networking.   Have tried to download firefox from google chrome, but I get....you are not connected to the internet...hit

My Norton 360 also seems to disappear after I open it and there is no icon in the navigation area.
That sounds like a program which is opening off-screen, possibly on another monitor. Look at the Taskbar icon involved and see if it has a thumbnail. If so, hovering over it would show its Preview and clicking on it would switch to it.
Then you could right-click on the thumbnail to see its window's state, e.g. typically Restore grey and the rest all operational.  Move would allow you to move it. Since you would not have any obvious way of attaching it to your mouse pointer
you would start by using an arrow key. In fact, one or two keystrokes would be enough to engage your pointer and change its icon to a move pointer icon. Then just drag the window to where you want it.
Oh, you mentioned "the navigation area". Are you implying you never see a window for that feature, e.g. it is always hidden? What about Task Manager does it know what state the thing is in? How are you supposed to configure or
check on it otherwise?
FWIW I would definitely be suspicious of Norton as the cause of the blockage. Unfortunately others have found that trying to disable it in order to avoid its interference is not enough, so then it has to be removed and in some cases apparently the
uninstall is faulty and a cleanup program must be obtained from Norton to be rid of it completely.

How do I Permanently remove a tab that is called "new tab" but is a Blank Page?

Every time I turn my computer on, I click my Firefox icon in taskbar at bottom, BUT, not only does my homepage tab show up, but lately I have been seeing another tab showing up beside it called "New Tab" but it is Blank. I don't how it all of a sudden showed up, but I can't seem to get rid of it. I right click & "close tab", but I have to do this every time I turn on my computer. Isn't there a way to Permanently Remove this Tab so it doesn't keep showing up on my Tab Bar?

Unfortunately that was empty too. The Firefox upgrade at that time seemed to wipe an awful lot of stuff. After searching, re-installing etc, whatever was suggested, I gave up. It was a while back. I will remember your suggestions if it ever (hopefully not) happens again though. I did have a very old bookmarks backup, but that would not import, so I did use bits of it manually but it had saved as a massive merged line of sites without my folders, so was a bit too much to fiddle with. The loss of the classical music sites was what I regretted most, no idea what they were called and cannot find some of them now. Ah well, no point in fretting about it now I suppose.

JColorChooser : "Swatches"-tab's recent-panel not showing recent color

Hello all,
in JColorChooser on "Swatches" tab we have one panel named "recent" and another
named "Preview".
Problem 1.
After i close my Color-chooser-dialog and reopen again , Preview-panel shows
the last selected ie recently selected color BUT recent-panel not showing any color.
Although on other Tab like "RGB" i am getting the selected color's RGB values .
Below is the code-snippet , Am I doing anything wrong ?
Problem 2.
This problem is not consistent. What happens that whatever RGB values i set,
next time when i open the chooser , Red-value gets educed by 1 !!!

I'm having the same problem with the default color chooser. Whenever it is closed it seems to lose all of the recent colors information. If you figure it out please let me know!!

Never mind, I think. I think I figured it out. There was 1 song (out of > 900!) that somehow had been purchased with the other ID - I have no idea how. Once I deleted that song, it stopped asking.
There may be something with the newest iTunes version too. I didn't think in older versions that the "On this iPod" list of songs was greyed out. But at least it syncs ok.

I tried hard reset on my iPhone. I tried restarting laptop and iPhone. I tried a different laptop. I tried removing driver and reinstalling from Device Manager but did not find a driver other than "Apple Mobile Device USB Driver" under "Universal Serial Bus controllers" which I heard shouldn't be uninstalled.
Anything I haven't tried?

Are you seeing your music listed in the iPod screen, or in Win explorer as in your earlier post?
I can see all the songs in my Edrive>al's Ipod> Ipod Control> Music folder.
A corrupted iPod database, will report zero music used, and have your music size reported as others, so you wont see the music in the iPod screen. Sorry, I thought there was some hope for you with iPodAccess, in recovery of the corrupted iPod database with your ratings.
You can try to borrow and use the Mac Disk Utility ->First Aid ->Repair.
Of course, if your iPod Hardisk is in a bad state, from the Disk Diagnostic report, then all my suggestion are futile.

Having trouble with dreamweaver cs 6 spry tabbed panels, all content in each tab showes through like it was all created on one page, plus mouse over doesnt work on them.
This started all of a sudden.
The entire website is a series of spry tabbed panels.

if you click on Machine control tab, mouse over doesnt work and all page content of each tab show through.
ive been looking for the answer for 4 months with no success.

You called it: your links to the SpryAssets are linking to your hard drive, not to the files within the folder on the server.
Correct these links:

If you're running Java 7, then in System Preferences > Java > Java Control Panel in the Security tab there is a check box to enable Java in your browser. To check for update go to the Update tab.

How to programmatically load and show the front panel of a vi but NOT run it?

Is there a way to load and show the front panel of a vi but NOT run it? I am starting with the AsynchronousCallAndForget.vi from the example finder and inserted an invoke node with the FP Open method call prior to the Start Asynchronous Call node. The vi I am loading has the "Run when opened" unchecked and the menu bar IS visible so I can manually click the run arrow. Thanks!

Why are you using the Async call? If you simply open the VI reference, then call the FP.Open method this works fine. You can then call the VI run method with Wait Until Done set to false if you wish to run it Asynchronously, this is how we did it in ye olde days before we had this new fangled "Start Asynchronous Call" stuff.

My bookmark tab will briefly show my bookmark list but then goes blank. Retry and get same issue.

i see the outline of the bookmark dropdown but it is blank inside. when the dropdown worked yesterday it left the listing of bookmarks at the bottom of the browser page and i could not get rid of them unless I closed the browser

Start Firefox in [[Safe Mode]] to check if one of the add-ons is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).
* Don't make any changes on the Safe mode start window.
