  • In diagnostics my iPad 2 have a panic.plist

Before upgrading my iPad 2 from 6.0.1 to 6.1 it work perfectly, once upgrade was done, the iPad crashes and reboot with no reason, in diagnostics i can see a lot of panic.plist logs. i assume that is a hardware issue, but why i don't have it before? why this problem appeared after upgrading to 6.1? can this problem be a software issue?

The problem could be due to software.
    Some general debugging steps:
Restart iPad: Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button until the red slider appears. Slide your finger across the slider to turn off the device. To turn it back on, press and hold the Sleep/Wake until the Apple logo appears.
Reset iPad: Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears. Ignore the "Slide to power off".
Restore iPad: Connect to iTunes on a PC/Mac and do a restore.

  • What are ipad .panic.plist

My iPad2 keeps crashing, I see many .panic.plist events in diagnostics and usage which shows panic(cpu 0 caller 0x807db6df): "i2c2::_interruptFilter interrupt when no transaction in flight;last read status.
Does anyone know what this means? I have preaviously done a factory reset and full restore but the crashes keep happening.  Some days no crashes then the next day maybe 5 in an hour.  Before upgrading to iOS5 I loved my iPad no problems and no resets but since upgrade things have been getting worse.
Please help if you can. Regards.

Since you already did a Reset and a Restore, assume you have a hardware issue (they often result in panic.plist reports) and take it to a Genius at your local Apple Store for diagnostics.

  • My iPhone 4 keeps shutting down :/ lately it's taken 2hrs to come back  up. Diagnostics shows panic.plist and I've had my phone barely over a year. Will Apple replace it? As I hear I need to make an appt at the apple store.

My iPhone 4 keeps shutting down. The past 3 days it's taken at least 2hrs to come back on. It constantly has no service and tells me system restore is needed. Under diagnostics it shows panic.plist. I've had my phone a year and 3mths. I hear I need to go to apple to get a replace as this is a software issue. It isn't under warranty. Will they replace it or is it a waste of my time? I recently just got the iOS update and now my phone gets hot to the touch also. Please help. My upgrade isn't until summer of next year but I need a phone that works and will get signal!

    Make an appointment at
    http://www.apple.com/retail/geniusbar/
    Out of Warranty replacement for iPhone 4 is $149 US;
you will get the same model, color and capacity you have.
If your current iPhone was locked to a wireless provider,
the replacement will be locked to that same provider.

  • Panic.plist

My phone shuts down periodically by itself.

Panic.plist's mean your iPhone has an hardware issue and will need to be replaced.
If your iPhone is still under warranty, you will be able to get it replaced free of charge at an Apple Store.

  • Alguien sabe alguna solución a panic.plist?

alguien sabe alguna solución a panic.plist? eso me sale en diagnostico de uso

  • Phone warm, battery awful, panic.plist

Out of nowhere, the phone turned itself off.  Hard restart, then horrible battery life.  After digging around, I came across a panic.plist in the diagnostics...is this an indication of my problem?  Right now I get about 2 hours on the battery and that's with almost everything turned off.  I don't want to constantly put the phone in Airplane Mode...defeats the purpose of being connected.  Also, this will make the phone completely useless while in meetings.
Any ideas?  I am reluctant to go through the hassle of resetting if at the end of the day it's a hardware issue....
    Thanks,
    Eric

From Home Screen double press Home Button very quickly, then in bottom row of Icons press and hold one until Red Minus sign appears. Press left one continously until you have deleted all Apps from memory. See if this helps.

  • Does anyone know what .panic.plist refers to when my iphone5 crashed?

My iphone5 completely blacked out then began to flash btw black screen and apple logo.  Performing a hard reset did not make the phone start working again.  However, after 2 days, a hard reset did allow the phone to start working.  It has only crashed one other time since the initial crash.  When I looked under Data and Usage, it lists 5 decriptions of the incident as the date followed by various #s and then .panic.plist.
At the time of the crash, I was running iOS 7.0.4 (11B554A).  i currently have upgraded software to 7.1
Could anyone give me a clue as to what caused the random crash and how to prevent it from happening again.  I have only had this phone for 3 months but it was a replacement phone purchased from the apple store, therefore the warranty no longer is in effect.
Thank you for any advice that you can throw my direction

reseting the ipod wont lose any data on it
u can restore to an back up from itunes only data not in the back up will be lost
or u can restore the ipod right back to factory setting and all data is wiped from the ipod

Basics from the manual are restart, reset, restore from backup, restore as new.
Have these been tried?  Is your problem still there?
