Panic! Transmit - Save as Droplet not working as expected

I have downloaded Panic!'s Transmit FTP program from the App Store and although there isn't anything "wrong" with the application itself there seems to be a very frustrating bug with my system.
The application has the ability to save server settings as a droplet in a folder on the hard drive. This is essentially a little script that opens Transmit and connects to FTP without entering further information.
Unfortunately the icons for these droplets are not those that are supposed to come with the app and look more like apple script scrolls. The droplets also seem to save with a little "do not enter" overlay on the icon.
When attempting to open them the system gives me the "you are attempting to open an application that you downloaded from the internet" alert.
I find this behaviour extremely unusual.
I have already contacted Panic and they have never seen this happen before.
I have uninstalled the app and reinstalled. I have uninstalled completely using CleanMyMac and via the terminal. I have also deleted all the iCloud backups for Transmit still nothing seems to improve.
If anyone has any idea of why this might be happening with an App Store app I would really like to know.

Do not use CleanMyMac.  It does more damage to your Mac and it's files than good.  See this topic: Removing CleanMyMac safely | Apple Support Communities
Have you tried downloading Transmit directly from the developer's site and see if it can create working Droplets which should look like this:
Sometimes the App Store version of an app is not the same as that directly from the developer.
What version are you running?  I've got
which runs fine on Mavericks.

  • Save / Load Archives - not working as expected?

    I've been using "Save As Archive" to save a few different versions of a project (30 second spot). But now, I'm loading up those archives, and not getting back what I saved. They sometimes have the wrong version of the grades, or forget stuff that I stored in the grades all together (like secondary shape animations).
    I was hoping to use this mechanism to store a few different alternatives to show the client, but now they're all mangled together, and I'll be luck if I can piece together one decent version by the time they arrive.
    Anyone else seen this or have a solution?
    (PS - I could have managed different looks in the Grades 1-4 slots ... but as it turns out, copying a grade to a new slot doesn't copy the animation, just the current frame's settings -- so that didn't help me either).

    Have you tried walking back through any reverts or autosaves?
    Possibly autosave is overwriting your "versions". They should be time and date stamped anyway, so maybe time to go looking in your designated background folder for those.

  • Save button is not working for ONE CLICK ACTION

    Hi All,
    We have embeded a custom table view in a standard component.While we are editing the first row of the table view by ONE CLICK ACTION & pressing the SAVE button of overview page,then the record is saved in the database. But if we edit any row other than the 1st one,the save button is not working.
    We have used transaction context here for simple object.
    lv_tx_ctxt = lr_ent_bt->get_transaction( ).
    my_tx_context->add_tx_context( lv_tx_ctxt ).
    Please suggest how we can focus on the current line which we are editing & can save the record in database?

    Probabaly this is not my problem. I know that how bt one click we can get the desired row.
    Let me briefly explain you my requirement and currently where I am stuck.
    I have a assignment block ( custom) in the main overview page with a custom table view ( ie in the view we are displayng entries in the table view ) and the user can press edit button on any row and that will open the particular row in edit mode . User will change the value in any of the columns and press save button on the main component and the custom changes will be saved in the database.
    Now the problem that we are facing is when we are chnaging the first row it si working but when we are doing chnages in the 2nd row or 3rd row changes are not saved ( not even in the table view that is getting displayed) .
    *Let me briefly tell you the approach that we took  . Since our table view uses a simple object  ( which is not a related object with BTORDER so we need to explicitly save the simple object entities to transaction context and for doing that we have redefined the eh_onsave method in the overview page) .
    *Now the save button is in overview page so to pass the entry from our custom table view to overview we are using custom controller . The custom controller 's collection wrapper only has the first entry of the table view custom_controller->collection_wrapper->get_next is failing which is the reason why the 2nd entry is not getting saved.
    Can you tell me how i can get all the table entries in my custom controller's collection wrapper?

  • Save changes button not working in my tabular form

    Hello,
    I have created a tabular form with all the button like cancel,delete,save,add row and their processes by default
    when i tried to run the report, the save is not working (whenever i tried to make some changes and update the form) like it giving me an error saying that
    " Error in mru internal routine: ORA-20001: no data found in tabular form "
    I looked at the process MRU, it is OKAY.
    I tried to delete it(the MRU process) and created a new MRU process then also the SAVE button is not working, like it gives the same error.

    Can anyone help me out with this issue...!
    what might be the problem?

    There could be two reasons for this error:
    1. in your MRU Process, you didn't type the proper primary key column name
    2. your tabular form is missing the referenced collumn

  • Save in BKG not working

    I re-installed CS5 after a reformat, and the 'background save' feature is not working.  I was under the impression that it's a default setting.  Is it something that I can reset?  It was working fine with my first install.

    Suddenly my Mail is not saving attachment and save as is not working. I tried to save an email as I use to do but it is not completing the task. I should I do?

    Mario,
    Was there also NO choice to View As Icon, in the contextual menu? If not, these items/images may be embedded in HTML, rather than true attachments. Other choices for normal attachments would include Open Attachment, Open With, Save to Downloads Folder -- are any of those present in the contextual menu?
    With such a message open, click on View in the menubar, place the cursor on Message in the pull-down menu, and choose Raw Source. Is there any HTML code present? Is there a header immediately before any code representing what you believe is an attached file?
    If need be, I can send you an email message with a known form of attachment.

  • Mail- Save Icon does not work

    I have noticed with mail since 10.5.2 that the small save icon on the email document does not save attachments / does not work anymore. I have to go to file menu and select "Save Attachments"
    Is this a bug or what ??

    I only now saw your first post. Have you looked in Mail Downloads folder to see if the attachments were saved there? In Mail 3.x, a quick click of the Save button would be expected to result in an unannounced save to that downloads folder. However, a click and brief hold on the Save button would be expected to result in a Save dialogue.

    TextBox value will be "5" and TextBlock value will be "18" as expected. - WRONG
    Case 2: Debugger is NOT attached => 
    TextBox value will be "18" and TextBlock value will be "18" - CORRECT
    It seems that when debugger is attached the binding does not work as expected on the object that triggered the update of the property value. This happens only if the property to which we are binding has some logic into the setter or getter.
    Has something changed in SL5 and logic in setters is not allowed anymore?

    Inputting the value and changing it straight away is relatively rare.
    Very few people are now using Silverlight because it's kind of deprecated...
    This is why nobody has reported this.
    I certainly never noticed this problem and I have a number of live Silverlight systems out there.
    Some of which are huge.
    If you want a "fix":

  • Subtraction of two key figures normalized to result not working as expected

    I am having problems with getting the right result from a subtraction of two KFs which are "normalized to results" which means the KFs really have values expressed as percentages. The substraction that should be performed is of two percentages (e.g.: 87.298% - 85.527% = 1.77%) but my report prints out the result as "number of units" instead (e.g.: 87.298% - 85.527% = 71,514.00 EA). The two normalized KFs actually "point" to two stock KFs, hence the "number of units".
    In order to explain the problem I am facing please analyze below text:
    1) Let's assume I have below data:

    Hi,
    The subraction will be carried out before doing the normalization of your KF's. So, it is displaying "number of units". Create a calculated keyfigure and subtract the KF's and in the properties of this calculated keyfigure, change the enhancement as "After Aggregation".

  • Events in SubVi not working as expected

    Hi, I am reposting this question as my previous one didn't resulted in any satisfactory conclusion.
    I have attached my Vi's which are not working as expected. If I remove ONE subVi and its associated 3 controls and two indicators, the other one works just fine, but when I add two SUB Vis, it goes messy. I am trying to learn this way, I am sure it can be done many other ways, but please help me finding out the problem doing it this way as in my final MainVi, I would like to use 8 such sub Vis. Thanks.

    Your main problem is DATA FLOW.  A loop cannot iterate until EVERYTHING in it has completed.  So, as you have it, you have to have both event structures execture before you can go back to look for the next event.  So if you insist on having these subVIs, they need to be in seperate loops.
    BTW, you can get away with a single subVI.  Go into the VI properties and make it reentrant (preallocated clone).  Then each call of your subVI will have its own memory space.  A lot easier to maintain that way.
    And I know you said you didn't want alternatives, but here's how you can do it all with a single event structure in your main loop.

  • AFS ARUN Size Substitution Not Working As Expected

    Hi All,
    I need help with this. If any one of you have worked with AFS ARUN size substitution, kindly provide me with some details on how can I set it up. I am specially interested in setting up size substitution with two-dimensional grids.
    I have setup some examples but it does not work as expected.
    Here is a small example:
    Say I have a size 28/30, 28/32 .........29/30....
    What I want to achieve is that during ARUN if there is a shortage of stock in 28/30 then the remaining requirement qty should be confirmed from size 28/32.
    with my setup after 28/30 it goes into looking for stock in 29/30, which is what I do not want.
    Any inputs will be really appreciated.

    VAL_SIZE_TO_IMAGE indeed works.
    What fails to work is VAL_SIZE_TO_PICTURE. (Second option in Fit Mode attribute in control editing panel)
    I tried with JPEG and it's the same.

    A panel with two picture rings.
    - SW_1 remains at the intended size and the loaded picture is not clear.
    - SW_2 will fit to picture size and looks OK.

  • Notification "Launch the app and go to the library" not working as expected

    Hello,
    we are sending notification "Launch the app and go to the library" - but it's not working as expected, it's still just launching app with last open folio.
    Whats wrong there? Do we need v30 app? We have V29, but this is not mentioned in documentation.

    Ok, now it's clear.
    Anyway i would appreciate possibility to force viewer to switch to library view after new issue is detected, even without notification. Quite often requested feature - "there is new cover in Newsstand, but customer don't know how to download new publication easily".

    1.Set Singleton property outside   <binding.jca> like this:
    <binding.jca config="polling_Mange_Alert_Events_db.jca"/>
      <property name="singleton">true</property>
      <property name="jca.retry.count" type="xs:int" many="false" override="may">2147483647</property>
      <property name="jca.retry.interval" type="xs:int" many="false"
    2.Also you can try setting these values in jca file:
    <property name="RowsPerPollingInterval" value="100"/>
    <property name="MaxTransactionSize" value="100"/>
    3. try to increase the polling interval time.
