Pap2t - fwd line 1 to ans mach on line 2?

Hello,
I have my phone plugged into line one, and the answering machine in line two. I would like to fwd when busy and no answer to the answering machine.
Steps taken so far:
1) in the user 1 cfwd busy dest I put myusername@mywanip:5061
2) I put the same in the cfwd no ans dest.
3) In the line 2 proxy and registration I copied the line 1 information.
4) I did the same for subscriber information.
On my initial test this seemed to work, however since then no such luck.
Any ideas what I've missed?
thanks for any help you can give...

The Linksys (Sipura) adapter doesn't itself forward a voip call (except in the case of the SPA3000/3102 forwarding to the FXO voip-to-pstn gateway). The adapter sends a sip reply to your voip provider that there is a change in call destination. It is up to your voip provider to take the appropriate action which is to send a new sip invite to the new destination. Many voip providers do not take that action.
Sometimes a 3d party such as Voxalot or PBXes, or your own asterisk system can be the best alternative.
Can you put your answering machine on the same line with your phone and have it pickup on no answer? This doesn't catch busy, I know. Of course, your voip provider typically has some sort of voicemail system that also can come into play.

  • PAP2T second line will not connect

I have two voip accounts with the same provider and I have two PAP2T adapters (one for each account).  I can get either one to work by themselves.  I need to get both lines working on the same router.  If I hook both PAP2T devices to the router, the second one can never login to it's server.  If I load the line 2 of either device with the other account, the second line can not login to it's server.
Ideally, I would have just one PAP2T connected using line 1 and 2.
How do I set up line 2 with the other account?
    Thanks,
    Joe

    Hello,
sounds like some of the ports may have been blocked.
May you test those simple tests :
    1) Swap ports 5060 and 5061 between Line1 and Line2 - watch which line will register, if any ...
    2) IF line with port 5060 registers (Line2) and line with port 5061 (Line1) NOT, may you contact your Internet provider (ISP) if for any reason the port 5061 is blocked, also you may contect the VoIP provider, if registration FROM port 5061 is also accepted ...
    3) You may try "nasty trick" and setup SIP ports totaly crazy - for example 5261 and 5262 - or simply any two numbers. There is, in fact, no restriction on SIP SOURCE port (just uzus, that those are USUALY 5060 and increasing), SIP DESTINATION port is (almost) alwayws 5060.
I use my SPA-1001 on with ports 5261 and 5262 on Line1/Line2 with no problems.

  • PAP2T-NA supports G729a codec in both lines?

    Hi everybody,
Does anyone know if PAP2T-NA supports G729A codec in both lines 1 and 2 simulltaneously? I know that PAP2-NA does not.
    Thank you,
    Joe VoIP

    Hello,
not sure in this topic. It used to be that only ROUTER devices (SPA-210x and SPA-310x) had powerfull enough CPU to handle 2 G729A calls simultaneously.
But this may had changed with PAP2T - info is not easily available.
The PAP2T device has certain similarities to SPA-2102.

  • Does PAP2T line 1 RJ11 socket wired as a 4 wire socket with line 1 and line 2?

I have been searching and finding some hints that this may be true.
Can anyone please tell me if this is indeed true, or is it random and needs to be checked.
Possibly its model year related, or serial number related.
If its not clear if it is or not, maybe someone could suggest a good way to test it.
At least for United States wiring, it seems a clever way to make full use of the PAP2T's
capability with a 2 line "business type" phone, without having to add an adapter and
two seperate 2 wire phone cables.
    Thanks,

    Hello,
if you mean wiring L2 L1 L1 L2 ... then I met this at two models of the adapters, but not all pieces :
PAP2T ... several true occurance reported, none false (I am not sure if PAP2T has 10Mbit or 100Mbit NIC)
SPA-2102 ... older models with 10Mbit NIC does NOT have this wiring
SPA-2102 ... newer models with 100Mbit NIC ... several true reported, none false
So it is model dependent, and can be of course S/N dependent.
Easiest way to check ... connect full 4 wire cable and measure voltage between outer 2 wires when adapter is powered.
    - if no voltage ... wires are N/C
    - if voltage present there's a high chance of this wiring

  • PAP2T 2 sips 1 line

hi all, First i explain the situation, i use voipcheap because i get freedays, the problem is i dont get a inbound number so i use budgetfone to recive calls(inbound). Now i have 2 lines configured to do 1 job call and recive calls. is it possible to configure alle this in 1 line? thx adv

The easiest thing to do is buy a 2-line telephone handset.
If you can find someone to sell you an incoming number (DID) that you can forward by sip uri to your voipcheap account you can receive the incoming calls on that line.  Perhaps your current provider will to that.  Something like this except I believe the company they reference is currently only a wholesaler of DID numbers

  • PAP-2T, make incoming calls ring in both phones/Lines?

    I have a PAP-2T. On this device I have connected two different phones, one connected to Line 1 and the other to Line 2. I have one SIP account with my provider. My provider has configured my account so that I can make two concurrent outgoing calls. My Lines are configured as the following;
    Line 1:
    Proxy: xxxx.sipserver.xxxx.xx
    Outbound Proxy: <blank>
    Register: Yes
    Register Expires: 3600
    Use Outbound Proxy: No
Use OB Proxy In Dialog: No
    Make Call Without Reg: No
    Ans Call Without Reg: No
    Line 2:
    Proxy: <blank>
    Outbound Proxy: xxxx.sipserver.xxxx.xx
    Register: No
    Register Expires: 3600
    Use Outbound Proxy: Yes
Use OB Proxy In Dialog: Yes
    Make Call Without Reg: Yes
    Ans Call Without Reg: No
Now, when I receive an incoming call, the phone connected to Line 1 rings. If I configure Line 2 like this,, Ans Call Without Reg: Yes,, the phone on Line 2 rings but not the one on Line 1.
My question is,, can I make both phones ring when I receive an incoming call?
If so, how do I configure the ATA to make that happen?

Cat2k1 what kind of probs do you hve with your phones ?
    - assume it's a DECT phone, try to change the ring voltage to 75V and ring waveform to trapezoid - this works better with problematic DECT phones
    - assume you're having an old analog phones, make sure the PAP2T's Line1 socket is only connected via 2wire interconnect cable (4wire cable on Line1 plus certain analog phones is a trouble-maker)
    - assume you use multiple analog phones on one line, you may consider increase the FXS power from 3 to let's say 5
    - assume you're having an old analog phone, it's ability to ring (if all the SIP comm works OK) is also affected by the FXS port impedance which must (shall) fit the phone's one.
    ====
On the other hand, shall you have problems with SIP communication between PAP2T an SIP operator, you shall enable NAT traversal and NAT keeplalive for the first on PAP2T settings

  • Can you help me fix my screen? It randomly has a bluish tint, bad resolution and horizontal flashing lines

    Hi all,
    It's a 15" 2.4 Ghz Intel Core 2 Duo MBP running on Leopard 10.5.8, bought spring 2008.
About a couple of weeks ago, my screen started randomly switching to a strange blue / purple tint along with a bad resolution (can't really read text on screen) and flashing horizontal lines in the background. It started worrying me given I'm working with it all the time and am hoping for this machine to hold on for a few more months until I can buy a new one.
It would happen randomly for a few minutes at a time and then revert back to normal screen.
I found a lot of references to a similar problem in a few threads such as this one:
    https://discussions.apple.com/thread/1456983?tstart=0
My screen has gone strange again now and isn't reverting back to normal so far even after I tried  restarting it. It was normal for 2 min only ans then back to bluish. I tried all the display fixes indicated in the threads but none of them work and I'm not exactly sure my issue is the same given I can still see the tint and horizontal lines in particular if the screen saver goes on, and the resolution on screenshots I've seen of other people having blue tint screen issues seems to be normal (as in text is legible).
Any ideas on how to fix it? Do you think it might be more of a software or hardware problem..? Would it help if I try upgrading my Mac OS?
Thank you very much for your time

Thanks a lot for the reply, I was worried would say that outright. Screen just only reverted back to normal after a couple of hours. As you said probably best to bring it in for diagnosis, I'll try to do that asap though of course I'm nowhere neaar any AASP at the moment.

  • Ar Aging Report based on transaction lines

    Hi all,
I am trying to write a query to calculate aging report at line level. The user needs a query which calculates the aging value at at line level because the ra_customer_trx_lines_all has attribute1 populated with a value from (A,B,C,D).I need get the aging value for each group(attribute).
    select sum(nvl(lines.line_recoverable,0)+nvl(adj.adj_amt,0)-nvl(rec.rec_amt,0)),lines.attribute1
    from ra_customer_trx_lines_all lines,
    (select CUSTOMER_TRX_LINE_ID trx_line,
    sum(amount) adj_amt
    from ar_adjustments_all
    where status = 'A'

    from ar_distributions_all
    where source_table='RA'
    and source_type='REC'

    and lines.CUSTOMER_TRX_LINE_ID=rec.trx_line(+)
    and lines.customer_trx_line_id in ('18293')
    group by lines.attribute1
Also I dint yet add the as of date parameter.I suppose the tables have to change in that case. Can any one help me with that tooo.
The above query kinda generated the value I was looking for.But when I ran the query for just a few more lines included. The query took forever to run.
Can you please help me on this ASAP.
Thanks for all your tips in advance.

  • Do not include some lines in Subtotals and totals in ALV

    Hello All,
I am printing a report with all sale order details and Quantities( delveered ,conformed etc..) iam doing subtotals based on the material and Plant.
In this if the document date is less than the SY-DATUM, we should not include the quantity into the subtotals and totals, Only the orders wiht doc date GQ to Sy-datum then display them..
As of now I am using ALV grid display and doing the sums by
l_wa_fcat-do_sum = c_x. (field catalog) for the whole colom) but i want to avoid sum row from tehe calculation based on the condition.
<b>Do we have any way to achive this, like if we want to have separate color for a purticular Cell then we add an extra field in outout table and we link this field with layout-coltab_fieldname in the same way or any other way if we have</b>.
I will be  thankfull to if you can provide me your valuable suggesstions on this. it is very urgent. I am trying in all the ways from my side.

    Hi,
    see this code,
Complete code for the ALV grid example
This example shows and ALV grid with flights. After selecting a line a change button can be pushed to display a change screen. After the changes have been saved, the ALV grid screen is displayed again, and the grid is updated with the changes.
    The example shows:
How to setup the ALV grid
How to ste focus to the grid
How to set the title of the grid
How to allow a user to save and reuse a grid layout (Variant)
How to customize the ALV grid toolbar
    Refresh the grid
Set and get row selection and read line contents
Make and exception field (Traffic light)
    Coloring a line
    Steps:
Create screen 100 with the ALV grid. Remember to include an exit button
Add a change button to the ALV grid toolbar

  • Issue of  Schedule Lines in MRP List

    Hi,
We ran MRP for one material, we observed MRP generated 3 schedules lines with respect to single Schedule Agreement with exception message as 30(Plan Process according to schedule).
Schedule line 1 --- Delivery Date is 10/06/2011 in MD05, Delivery date in Schedule Agreement is 10/04/2011,Rescheduling date is 08/27/2011 Exception message is 30(Plan Process according to schedule(08/27/2011 08/25/2011).
Schedule line 2 --- Delivery Date is 10/06/2011 in MD05, Delivery date in Schedule Agreement is 10/04/2011,Rescheduling date is 10/05/2011 Exception message is 30(Plan Process according to schedule(10/05/2011 10/03/2011).
Schedule line 3 --- Delivery Date is 10/06/2011 in MD05, Delivery date in Schedule Agreement is 10/04/2011,Rescheduling date is 09/08/2011 Exception message is 30(Plan Process according to schedule(09/08/2011 09/06/2011).
But in Schedule Agreement, we are seeing that all the 3 delivery schedules with delivery dates as "10/04/2011" as GR Processing time is 2 days.
Can anyone tell why the MRP has not updated the Schedule Agreement with the new Delivery dates proposed by the exception message 30 in MD05 list.
    Thanks in advance.

    Hi Vivek,
I am not knowing how to upload the details.
Please find the Material master details for the issue material:-
MRP type- PD, Lot Size - ZE - Period lot size, Sched.2, Split ( Config Setting of this lot size key is provided below),
    Minimum lot size-2,000.000, rounding profile-2,000.000, Material type- ROH,Safety Stock - 1224, Pld Delivery time -63 days, GR Processing time- 2 days, Planning Calendar-ZEX.,Consumption mode     2,Bwd consumption per. 999,Fwd consumption per. 999 ,Mixed MRP --      1, Strategy group =      Z1 ( Final assembly & assembly level, i.e., combination of 40 + 70))
Config Setting of Lot size key- ZE are :-
LotSizeProced.  P Period lot-sizing procedure ,Lot-size ind.-   K Period lot size as in PPC planning calendar
Scheduling  --    2 Period end := delivery date ,No. of periods  1, Splitting Quota - Checked ,Last Lot Exact- Checked.
    b) Scheduling Agreement has 3 delivery schedule lines with Delivery Date as "10/04/2011" and scheduled quantities as 2000,1617 and 2000 EA.
As per the MD05 screen, for this material, corresponding to these 3 schedules lines, we have exception message -30 with different delivery dates. Our Question is why MRP does not updated the Delivery dates for the schedule lines in the scheduled agreement proposed by these exception message.
Can you please let me know whether this information is sufficient for you to understand my problem?.
    Thanks in advance.

  • Can I add multiple keywords on one line in Junk Rules

Dad forwards me crappy jokes all the time. I have a rule set If "all" conditions are met.
From Contains : dads email address
    Subject Begins With: : FW
This works but can add into the same line Fwd.
It's been a long since programming but I thought maybe using : "FW",Fwd","Fw".
I know I could set another rule but Its more efficient this way.
Please let me know it there is a correct syntax which would allow me to do this.
    Thanks,
    Craig

Never mind just found out I can add multiple lines of : Subject Begins With and keep the "All" Conditions command. I original thought the rule would initiate with the all conditions must be present, but it seems to work.

  • One PR for one line item in third party sales

    Hi all,
When we create and save a third pary sales order, the system will create a Purchase Requesition.
If there are 5 line items in the Sales Order, the system will create only one PR for all the line items.
I will create only one sales order, and  I want one PR for one  line item of the sales order.
    How to Configure this.
    Regards
    VASU

    Vasu,
PR in the sales order is generated by the settings in Schedule line and Item category. In a particular sales order, if there are 5 line items and of same item category and schedule line then system will give only one PR number. Again if the item category ans schedule line is different then there will be multiple PRs.
Can you please elaborate more on your requirement. Again from one PR you can generate multiple PO
    Thanks,
    Raja

You have a common problem with OS X 10.8.2, the "unable to talk to lsboxd" message. First of all, try to fix this. It's fixed just starting your Mac in safe mode, holding the Shift key while your computer is starting. Then, just after starting in safe mode, restart, and that message will disappear. Finally, see if your red message appears
