PAP2T: Incoming calls being blocked by Router.

Hi,
I am trying to use an unlocked PAP2T Adapter with Telus home network in Canada and am not able to receive calls. I can make outgoing calls to any number in the world, but whenever I get a call back, the phone doesn't ring & later I find it in Firewall log as being blocked under "Low Risk Attack". While trying to find a resolution with the VOIP provider I had at times picked up the phone randomly & found the caller on the line. So apparently the calls have no prblem reaching my PAP2T Adapater, it is just that (1) there is no ring when they do & (2) the incoming calls get blocked by Firewall & dropped.
I have tried port forwarding (UDP & TCP) as well DMZ mode for the Adapter, no luck. Later i tried disabling almost all of the internet provider's 2wire modem/router firewall features (UDP ports scan, packets , etc.) still didnt work. I have run out of ideas & hoping that someone can help me find a way out of this problem ? Appreciate your help & time. Thanks.

I changed to the following settings that did the trick for making the phone ring,
Click Regional on the top:
Under Ring and Call Waiting Tone Spec
Change Ring Waveform to Sinusoid
Change Ring Voltage: 90
Change Ring Frequency: 20
However, when I pick up the ringing phone, there is no voice going through the line. Also, as per my VOIP provider instructions, when I dial a local number followed by # sing & hang up in 5 seconds, I don't get any callback either. I have even updated the PAP2T to the latest firmware 5.1.6. Any thing else I can change to get the voice across & get the call back ? thanks for your help again.

  • PAP2T - Incoming Calls/Phone Compatibilty!

I have just bought my pap2t and having problems recieving incoming calls. My SIP account says that its registered and working on their end but when someone rings the number, it doesnt ring on my phone. Is there a specific type of phone that will work with the adaptor e.g. PBX, DECT phones? or could it be the settings?

eepro is referring to this web site which could be the answer.
    Can you make outgoing calls?
On an incoming call is just the phone not ringing or can you pickup the phone and there is no connection (just receive dial tone)?

  • Incoming emails being blocked all of a sudden.

I have been receiving emails without any issues for many many years now. Until recently I had not been receiving any emails from sassieshop.com with whom I get work from daily and have lost over a weeks pay because of this. (Others from other servers have also said many of their emails coming to me bounce back also) Without these emails coming in I don't work! I have been on the phone with Comcast and was told it was not their problem and that Comcast was not blocking the senders. The guy says he optimized my account and sent test emails. Of course the Comcast emails came through as they always have, especially the bill like clockwork. After being talked down to by a Comcast rep I ended the discussion as he was not helping the situation and was being rather rude. Nothing is going to my spam folder. No other settings checked off to cause this. All other emails come in. So anywaym I went into all the companies that email me daily from sassieshop.com and changed my email address to something beside Comcast. Guess what? I am getting my emails again. So if I do not want to get job offers anymore I stick with Comcasts emails. If I want to work I have to use someone else. Does Comcast not think this is a problem? For what I pay each month I should be able to get all my emails and not have them blocked because Comcast suspects they may be spam or whatever! This needs to be addressed as I am reading it happens all the time!

Already went through all this with Comcast. All my settings are fine according to Comcast. Nothing going into Spam. No settings had been changed. I use Thunderbird, smartphone, and online and never had any problems until a few companies were telling me their emails to me were bouncing back recently and/or the biggest offender was (sassieshop.com) I just was not getting their confirmation emails from companies that I have always received them from for YEARS. These were emails confirming I was contracted by them to do jobs! Not good when I don't perform a job because I didn not receive the email telling me I got it. I clear my browser history on exit. Windows Vista.

  • Why are my call being blocked

i updated the iOs and now none of our phones accept calls

Are these normal ads in web pages, or additional ads injected into them? If they are extra ads, one of your other extensions might be the culprit.
Try disabling ALL nonessential or unrecognized extensions on the Add-ons page. Either:
    * Ctrl+Shift+a
    * orange Firefox button (or Tools menu) > Add-ons
In the left column, click Extensions. Then, if in doubt, disable.
Usually a link will appear above at least one disabled extension to restart Firefox. You can complete your work on the tab and click one of the links as the last step.
Does that change the ads you see?
Also, you might previously have been using a list of filters for Adblock Plus that fine-tuned it for various sites. Do you recall installing anything like that?

  • My calls are being blocked from calling our office.

I haven't been able to make calls to any of our office (various locations) phone numbers using my AT&T cell phone for the last 3 days.  My phone works fine otherwise - I can call everywhere else.  Why are the calls being blocked?  The office uses Integra Telecom.  Apparently NO AT&T cell phone calls are going through.  There is no problem with any other carriers, just AT&T.

    Hello @susankip
I’m sorry you’re not able to dial out to your office.
It sounds like there is definitely a routing or dialing pattern issue going on.
To better assist with this, please contact us as soon as possible.

  • Biz transaction type Incoming Call blocked for further biz transactions

    Gurus:
    When I go txn cic0 at CRM6.0, I get the message :
Business transaction type Incoming Call is blocked for further business transactions
    Message no. CRM_ORDERADM_H501
I searched SDN and SSO but found no fix.
Could you tell me how to fix this?
    Thanks!

    Hi,
What must be hapening here is that you are accesing a IC profile, which has a default sales transaction assigned which is not active in customizing.
What is the source of this error, or better, is this happening with all users, is this result of any upgrade?
With these answers it will be easier for us to help you find the error. At first moment, it seems that the user you are logged in is not assigned to any position in PPOMA_CRM, or the position to which he is assigned doesn't have any IC profile, so the system logs in standard IC profile from SAP, and this IC Profile calls transaction type 0001 (Incoming Call) which probably you deactivated because you must have being using your own Z document types.

  • Nomorobo blocking all incoming calls

I set up Nomorobo last night.  Got the confirmation phone call.  After that, all incoming calls were blocked after the first ring.  I emalied Nomorobo and am waiting for their response. Anyone else have this experience?

    csk47 wrote:
I just installed Nomorobo yesterday as per the instructions given.  Everything appeared to be set up correctly and the test screen showed protected.  A couple of hours later I got a call with a short first ring then a second ring..then nothing.  So I assumed it was a robocall that was intercepted.  A few hours later another call came in..it, too, was intercepted.  It seemed odd that two calls coming in..both are robocalls..so I logged into Xfinity and saw that both calls went right to voice mail rather than ringing through so I could answer them at home.  Tried calling my home number with my cell and same thing...right to voice mail.  Sent a message to Nomorobo but no response as yet.  It seems the fault must be in the Call Forwarding preferences of Xfinity...but for now I've disconnected Nomorobo and calls from my cell go correctly to my home phone.  If anyone comes up with a solution please post it.It took a month for me to hear back from nomorobo support and then I got this when I told them all my calls were going to robo. I did have it set up correctly so still not sure why mine won't work and I undid everything so I am back to 'normal' for now.   It might be of some use to you.... "I'm sincerely sorry for the extreme delay here. From the information you've given me it sounds like the toll-free number (202-813-1600) we provided you is in your Call Forwarding list, not the Advanced Call Forwarding list, which means all your calls are being forwarded to Nomorobo. You should remove the number from that location and all incoming calls will no longer be blocked. If you don't see the Advanced Call Forwarding option, it's because Voice2Go isn't activated. Here is a link that should help you activate Voice2Go: https://customer.comcast.com/help-and-support/phone/activate-voice-2go . Here is another link with specific instructions to using Nomorobo on Comcast Xfinity: https://customer.comcast.com/help-and-support/phone/nomorobo"

  • Another problem - phone cuts off incoming calls

Has anyone else had issues since upgrading to iOS4 or at any other time with incoming calls being cut off just a second or so after the phone starts ringing? I've had this happen twice to me today although I've never had the problem before. I know there've been issues with 3GS handsets cutting off calls since the upgrade but I've not seen it mentioned with regards to the 3G. Anyone else experienced this at all?

I'm sorry for misunderstanding you, but you said she went to the Apple store and the third time she bought a new phone. Did the new phone work then? Is the issue still persisting on the old device? That's where I'm confused. Did she get the device replaced or just buy a new phone and the problem is still happening on the old device.

  • Incoming calls are being blocked

Some of my incoming calls are being blocked and when I try to answer them they go to voicemail. I can't seem to find a reason for this and I have not found a way to stop this from happening. Sorry I have a iPhone4 with the latest software and firmware.
    Thank you
    Regards
    dennisl

Either the tower you are connected to has no channels available, the MTSO it connects to is overloaded, or you have 3G turned off or it isn't available where you are located. While 3G supports simultaneous voice and data EDGE does not, and data takes precedence. So if you are using data at the time someone calls you the call will be diverted to voicemail.

  • My iohone5 signals incoming call. Then, immediately Blocked Call is displayed! With no further information re caller.  I have just switched from iPhone 4 and never had experience with Blocked Call! Message . How can I at least find out who or what blocked

MY iPhone 5 keeps blocking incoming phone calls with a message "call blocked" there is no addition information on who/what is being blocked or why. I have just transitioned from iPhone 4 to 5 and never had this happen before.  Does anyone else have this problem? How does one find out what/who is being blocked?

If a user has blocked their caller ID there's nothing you can do but either answer the call or don't.
This is NOT a problem, this is how blocked calling works.

  • How to block specific incoming calls

    CCM 4.1(3)sr2
I am currently able to block specific calling numbers from PSTN with translation rules like this in my h323 gateway:
    voice translation-rule 10
    rule 1 reject /323xxx9650/
    rule 2 reject /323xxx9580/
Then I use it with a call-block translation profile on the dial peer like this:
    dial-peer voice 1 pots
    call-block translation-profile incoming call_block_profile
    destination-pattern 9T
    progress_ind setup enable 3
    incoming called-number .T
    direct-inward-dial
    port 2/0:23
Now I want to convert to MGCP and find that doing this same thing in Callmanager is [to me] less than obvious. Any thoughts?

Stick with H323 if you are wanting to do call control for PSTN calls, because, with MGCP, it is doable from CallManager using a combination of Route Patterns / Translation Patterns, but it is MUCH more convoluted than what you currently have established with your translation rules, which look pretty clean to me. If there is no GOOD reason to change, leave it alone....

  • My iphone has lost it´s tunes and does only vibrate.By incoming calls it shows "blocked"

By incoming calls my iphone dos only vibrate (no tune) and it shows "blocked".How can I get back the tunes?

    Greetings Nefertiti72,
It seems you are experiencing an issue with contact syncing and management. It seems you've removed an email account which contained a number of contacts that are not associated with your iCloud account. I have linked to a knowledge base article which provides more information about iCloud contacts syncing:
Get help using iCloud Contacts - Apple Support
Learn what to do if you’re having issues using iCloud Contacts. For example, you might make changes to Contacts that don't update across all of your devices.
You may want to consider importing the contacts from the email account you removed. You can do it easily by following the steps in this article:
    iCloud: Import a vCard
You can import an electronic business card, also called a vCard, into iCloud Contacts. If the vCard contains contact information for more than one person, each contact becomes a separate entry.
In iCloud Contacts, choose Import vCard from the Action pop-up menu , which appears at the bottom of the All Contacts list or a list of group contacts
    Select a vCard to import.
The contacts from the vCard are added to the All Contacts group in Contacts. You can add the contacts to any other group by dragging them to the desired group.
Thank you for contributing to Apple Support Communities.
    Best,

i recently tried blocking incoming calls that are not in my phone book and the result was that my pin code has been blocked. does any one have an idea of how i should go about it?

That depends which phone he/she is using... this is in the phones section, not the smartphones, so I had assumed that software such as that would not be appropriate lol
