Hi,
Your logic might be perfectly fine, but I noticed a couple things I do differently.
I uploaded a step-by-step instructions on how to invoke PAPI from Java (JDeveloper 10) for Oracle BPM 10g Enterprise Standalone to: http://www.4shared.com/file/119420269/57ff2b24/Oracle_BPM_Enterprise_Standalone_PAPI_from_JDev.html.

  • PAPI example not working

    Hi Guys, i have deployed a process on the Wblogic server. My process runs fine. I am trying to run the PAPI example given at the bea website. It also runs fine. but i do not get the desired result.

    Thanks for your response. I really could not get chance to try it out again. But now if i use process Participants user name and pasword, i get an exception about NoInitialContext fund. Did you do something extra to run this simple example?

    SAP BW Bex 7.3 Queries not working with Enterprise Portal (EP) 7.3 ABAP Stack
    Dear Portal Gurus,
    we want to integrate SAP BW Bex Queries 7.3 into an Enterprise Portal 7.3 EP ABAP Stack only installation.
    1) We have Done SSO between EP And BI System
    2) System Object is Created
    3) When we trying to create Iview of BEX 7.3 report, its executing that report on BI server, we don't have java stack on BI System
    4) We have updated the required table in Bi system for executing the report on EP
    5) RFC is OK, System Object Test is OK, Report is working independently from Business Explorer, but not working from EP
    There no irj services available on BI system, as it is only ABAP stack.
    Can anybody help us in achieving our requirement
    Thanks in advance
    Michael Wecker

    Hi Michael,
    To integrate portal with BI you need to perform BI Portal integration steps.
    Refer to a document link below for guidance purpose.

    Here is the location of a step-by-step explanation on how to use PAPI Web Service (PAPI-WS) to create a work item instance and then run the instance inside an activity in a process running on Oracle BPM Enterprise Standalone.
    http://www.4shared.com/file/128249957/9bd6ef61/PAPI-WS_for_Oracle_BPM_Standalone.html
    Be sure to use the project that is in the zip file for this example.

    Dan,
    I tried in both studio and Standalone.
    From Studio :*
    1. The Url for the Webservice is (http://localhost:8585/papiws/PapiWebServiceEndpoint?wsdl). From studio by default port number was 8585.From this studio wsdl URL(http://localhost:8585/papiws/PapiWebServiceEndpoint?wsdl),I did n't see any wsdl text in the browser.
    From Standalone :*
    1. In BPM Admin Center, I have selected *"PAPI Web Services"* check box(Page 5 of your document).
    2. In The BPM Admin Center, I have clicked on *"Start BPM Web Applications"*.
    3. After Stand alone server started *"Launch PAPI WebServices Console"* link was enabled,And I clicked on that link.It opened a browser with URL (http://localhost:8686/papiws/PapiWebService)

    Hi,
      How have you defined the property "WAS host" for the portal system that you have created for the back-end?
    You might get this error if the way you have defined this WAS host property and the way you are calling the portal are different. For example, if your WAS host property is "<hostname>:<portnumber>" and you are calling your portal as "localhost:<portnumber>", then you will get this error.
      Also are you connecting to your portal using the fully qualified domain name? Don't call the portal simply as
    <i>http://<host>:<port>/irj</i> but call it as http://<host>.<domain>:<port>/irj.
    Regards,
    Satyajit.

  • JSF Getting Started Example not Working

    I've installed and configured JSF according to CoreJSF 1st Chapter example "A simple JSF Application" (available at http://horstmann.com/corejsf/). The only different thing i've done is to put the jsp pages in a separate folder within the root web application folder. The JSF seems to be properly configured, since i'm able to see the UI components in the login page. However, once I click login button, the application takes me once more to the login page (same page that put the request). I figure it is a problem with the navigation file, I've changed the faces-config.xml including "jsf/welcome.jsp" as target since "jsf" is the separate directory I created for JSP files. I does not work (not getting exceptions though). Any prompt help will be highly appreciated.

  • Hans Javaserver 3 book example not working

    Hello,
    This is from Hans Javaserver Pages Third edition
    <%-- Verify that the user is logged in --%>
    <c:if test="${validUser == null}">
    <jsp:forward page="login.jsp">
    <jsp:param name="origURL" value="${pageContext.request.requestURL}" />
    <jsp:param name="errorMsg" value="log in first." />
    </jsp:forward>
    </c:if>
    The above example does not seem to work.
    The code below seems to work
    <%-- Verify that the user is logged in --%>
    <c:if test="${validUser.name == null}">
    <jsp:forward page="login.jsp">
    <jsp:param name="origURL" value="${pageContext.request.requestURL}" />
    <jsp:param name="errorMsg" value="log in first." />
    </jsp:forward>
    </c:if>
    Any ideas why his example is not working on Tomcat 5.0?
    Thanks
    Frank

    Hi I was trying the same thing and was wondering why it doesn't accept the origURL, well it never takes the value of it at all and just skips the page that was requested and goes to mail.jsp no matter what.
    <c:choose>
    <c:when test="${! empty param.origURL}" >
    <c:redirect url="${param.origURL}" />
    </c:when>
    <c:otherwise>
    <c:redirect url="main.jsp" />
    </c:otherwise>
    </c:choose>
    The value of origURL is never passed to this authentication page! I would also like to know the reason why?
    Also I have a question to your last piece of code that works: where is the name parameter taken from? Is it the same as userName that is passed as a parameter from the login page? or is it something else? I'd really appreciate your help...
    <c:if test="${validUser.name == null}">

    Have you ever get the SISO OFDM TDD Example work with two device?
    Currently, I am doing the SISO OFDM TDD Example like your work with two USRP-RIO 2953R. I can do streaming within one USRP-RIO with loop back selection in the example, but when it comes to two USRP-RIO streaming, one is base station and the other is UE,  but the demo seems to be not working.

    Guys
    I am trying the example with Oracle database instead of the HSQL database. I replaced the driver & url strings and put the classes12.jar in the classpath

    One more thing to add:
    I am not able to get any of the examples to work with Oracle database. Again the only thing I suppose I need to change are the folloowing lines in the EmployeeProject.java

    Also one line change in the sessions.xml file to use the OraclePlatform instead of the HSQLPlatform.
    Has any one got these to work with Oracle, Any help is really appreciated.
    classes12.jar is in the classpath so I don;t understand why I get the execption that:

  • VideoPhoneLabs example not working

    Dear dev-team, could you also give more information about why
    the example-application (VideoPhoneLabs.swf) does not work, when I
    upload all the assets (not reg.cgi, while I want to use the
    Stratus-service) to a server (
    http://work.joeyvandijk.nl/stratus/VideoPhoneLabs.html).
    I am connected to the Stratus-webservice, but I get an
    idManagerError but does not know how I can solve this.
    I think it has to do with my id, but when I login to
    adobe.com and try to retrieve an ID I get the same which I am using
    at above example. So, I think my ID is not blocked or something.
    And I know that the Stratus-webservice is not down while your
    online version of the VideoPhoneLabs is working.
    I see in my error:
    Error #2048: Schending van beveiligingssandbox:
    http://work.joeyvandijk.nl/stratus/VideoPhoneLabs.swf
    kan geen gegevens laden van
    rtmfp://stratus.adobe.com/bc25bb58c9cf187e4178b40e-c16df88ec798/?identity=80b46c214f4c830 f28186fa40febc0a4a8c323393958ea99a0075b228d870e50&username=joeyvandijk
    which says that it cannot load data from the Stratus-service
    due to a SecurityError.
    So, I cannot run it locally OR on a webserver. Do you have
    some tips what could be the cause?
    Thnx in advance!
    :D

    Hi,
    I am trying the VideoPhoneLabs app, but still do not work.
    Please give some advices.
    I have done the procedure according to ReadMe.txt, then
    reg.cgi copied into my local web server. After that i got some
    error message as following when i accessed to it from another pc.

  • Paper feed not working

    Hello, Below are the sequence of events that happened and the problem I am facing: 1. I was able to use my HP 3510 printer print a page even 30 minutes ago. 2. After that, I tried scanning a page. The scanner got stuck many times. I opened the top lid of the printer and saw the scanner bar (I don't know how else to describe it) stuck in the middle. I restarted the printer and my computer and finally, after 6-7 retries, I was able to scan a page. Scanner has been working perfectly ever since. 3. After the scan was completed, I tried printing another page. The page feeder did not work. It showed me a "Out of paper. Load paper into the tray" message. I tried printing again by putting the page in more securely in the page feeder section but it showed the error again. I tried noticing what was happening and here is what I found out: a. The page was getting pulled into the printer. b. After the initial pull, the page stops once and the printer tries to pull in the paper again. But this time the paper gets pushed back out. When I look at the page, the top middle part (the end which was going into the printer first), is all crooked. ONLY the top middle part is crooked and the rest of the paper edge is the same. Every time I try to print a page, the same thing happens. The page is pulled in and then the print pushes it back the way the page came in and shows the "Out of paper" error.  What can I do to fix this issue? Thanks.

    Hi , Welcome to the HP Support Forums! I see you are running into some paper feed issues with your HP Deskjet 3510. Thank you for the detailed information. I would like you to go ahead and start troubleshooting here: HP Deskjet 3510 and HP Deskjet Ink Advantage 3510 e-All-in-One Printer Series - An 'Out of Paper' Error Message Displays on the Control Panel and the Printer Does Not Pick Up Paper Follow all steps listed above, focusing on the cleaning of the papers rollers. Let me know the outcome, I will watch for your reply. Thanks,

  • BI RRI not working from Enterprise Portal

    Hi,
    We are using BI for NW04S and EP7.0. All of our BI report to report interface are working when executed using BI query designer or web temmplate.
    However whenever the same report is executed inside Enterprise portal, RRI from the same source and target report is not working. Instead of passing the parameter ( say transaction number) to the target report and executing it, the target reports are appearing with the blank selection screen inside the portal.
    As far as I remeber , it was working with previous version as well as NW04S. Not sure whether I need to do some additional set up in EP7.0 for RRI to work
    There is no issue in the BI side, as I have mentioned already, RRI works inside the BI when Portal is not involved.
    Thanks
    Arunava

    I am having the same issue. Did you guys manage to resolve this.
