Par file get demage after import it to NWDS

Hi everybody,
i if download a par file from portal and import it as par into NWDS i cannot run the application in the portal
again after deploying. For example, i have downloaded com.sap.navigation.masthead.par. I rename it and
import it into NWDS. I deploy the par file and create a iView which was added to my Default Framework
page. I get the following error:
Portal Runtime Error
An exception occurred while processing your request
If i did not import the par file into NWDS and edit it manually i can deploy and run it without a problem.
regards,
Seed

Hi..
Refer this for Successful importing of .par files..
[Re: importing a .par file]
Also
Just right click on project to properties->java build path-> add external jars add the jar file servlet.jar.
You can download servlet api jars from [http://java.sun.com/products/servlet/download.html]
In addition to this,
Go to Navigator tab of the same perspective and add the same jar to lib folder..
Hope it helps..
Thanks....

  • Files get corrupted after import-export

    Hi
After exporting images from HTML DB 2.0 and importing them some of the files are corrupted after import.
This has happened with one .js file and with one .pdf file.
All the other (including some PDF-s) are correct.
The "File Character Set" specified on import is correct and there are no other parameters I can change.
If I look the contents of corrupted files it seems that another file has been pasted at the end of the original file.
    What could be wrong?

    Hello,
Any news on this ? I have the same (reproducable) problem with a .js file.
Uploading works fine, but when I try to download it again, the contents of another file seems to have been appended at the end. The file also doesn't work when I try to include it using #WORKSPACE_IMAGES#...js

  • All of a sudden my RAW (Nikon D7100) files are dark after importing

Could anyone tell me why all of a sudden my NEF files from my Nikon D7100 raw files turn dark after importing them to Lightroom 4.4? I did use Dactive lighting setting in camera...is this why? Is there anyway to stop this from happening? THanks!

    I can't argue with that.

That would be truer if stated thusly:
Having ADL on will make for darker initial rendering in Lightroom and reveal non-optimal ADL setting as under-exposed images.
However (and contrary to popular belief), that does NOT mean there is no value using ADL in conjunction with Lightroom for post-processing - quite the contrary: there are ALL the same benefits as when using ADL in conjunction with NX2, *except* that the compensations are applied automatically in NX2, and non-optimal setting manifests as a slight reduction in shadow image quality and not as under-exposed images when using NX2 instead of Lightroom for post-processing.

  • Camera RAW, file not recognized after import and migration, Aperture 2.1

    Hi,
I have recently purchased a 1DMKIII and am constantly getting "file not recognized" after I import and even after migrating RAW files. My 1DS MK1 RAW files have no issues. The RAW files render just fine using CS4 bridge. Any ideas here on a fix? Other than ditching Aperture (not desireable)

  • File size changes after importing photos

Quick question here. I've been using iphoto (now using iphoto 8)for a couple years and just noticed that after importing photos (I use a variety of original formats, usually jpeg or raw) the file size in iphoto is a lot smaller than the original (roughly half). First of all, why is this? Is there any way for iphoto to retain the original size? If I try copying a photo out of iphoto, say onto my desktop, the file size remains the same as it was in iphoto. In other words, it doesn't revert back to the original.
Any idea as to why it would do this?
Some help would be much appreciated.
    Ads

Welcome to the Apple Discussions. When a raw file is imported iPhoto creates a jpg version so if you're looking at that and comparing to the size of the raw file, yes it will be smaller.
If you edit a photo the resulting file will be slightly smaller since there will be one level of jpeg compression added to the file. All subsequent edits will not cause any more compression because the edit instructions are saved in the database file and applied to the file for viewing, printing and exporting. That's why iPhoto calls it nondestructive editing.
If the photo is portrait oriented and comes from a camera which has the auto-rotate feature iPhoto will create a rotated version and that will contain some jpeg compression.
Dragging the photo to the desktop will bring the edited version which will be smaller. To get the original file export using the Format=Original setting as Larry has already pointed out.
If you're worried about image quality unless you will be printing a very large photo you'll be hard pressed to see any degradation in the image.
TIP: For insurance against the iPhoto database corruption that many users have experienced I recommend making a backup copy of the Library6.iPhoto (iPhoto.Library for iPhoto 5 and earlier versions) database file and keep it current. If problems crop up where iPhoto suddenly can't see any photos or thinks there are no photos in the library, replacing the working Library6.iPhoto file with the backup will often get the library back. By keeping it current I mean backup after each import and/or any serious editing or work on books, slideshows, calendars, cards, etc. That insures that if a problem pops up and you do need to replace the database file, you'll retain all those efforts. It doesn't take long to make the backup and it's good insurance.
I've created an Automator workflow application (requires Tiger or later), iPhoto dB File Backup, that will copy the selected Library6.iPhoto file from your iPhoto Library folder to the Pictures folder, replacing any previous version of it. There are versions that are compatible with iPhoto 5, 6, 7 and 8 libraries and Tiger and Leopard. Just put the application in the Dock and click on it whenever you want to backup the dB file. iPhoto does not have to be closed to run the application, just idle. You can download it at Toad's Cellar. Be sure to read the Read Me pdf file.
NOTE: iPhoto 8's new option in it's rebuild library window, "Rebuild the iPhoto Library Database from automatic backup" may make this tip obsolete. We'll know when users have occasion to use it and see if that's the case.

  • Aif,aiff files/ play sequentiallly after imported tracks

hi. i-m try getting some help.
    1st question>
Is there a way to play sequentially tracks in Adobe audtion after importing those one?
or must i play them one by one and not like an automated task?
    2nd question>
After recording some new tracks i save them as *.aiff extension files, but Windows Media player is not able to play them.
All tracks have been recorded at cbr 3072 Kbytes/s, stereo, 48khz sample rate.
i use Xp sp3 fully updated, Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8 consumer preview as Operating Systems.
Tvm in advanced if i will have an answer.Enrico /Italy

It is always best, and more universally usable, to save your audio files as .wav. This is Auditions default format.
If you import them into the Multitrack view then you can place them sequentially and play them one after another automatically.

3 Stop the Muvo mass stoarge device
4 Unplug the USB from the computer
5 Turn the Muvo N200 on
    6 Folder has vanished
7 Plug Muvo back into computer
8 Folder is there, all files are missing
Also .. if I plug the Muvo in right after I coppied the files (after step 4) the files exist. I dragged them to the desktop, compared them to the originals with a binary compare and they are identical ... just to see if the files got corrupted.
It seems that when I turn the Muvo on, the files get deleted.
I then installed the N200 Media Explorer with drivers .. didn't help at all.
I tried this on a different machine, exact same files, and it works fine. Same OS, no Media Explorer.
Also, this is my second N200. Sent the other one back after talking with support. Got an error at the end of a format. When I tried to install the .2 firmware, I could no longer turn the player on (didn't try recover). I'm sure this N200 will do the same on my thinkpad. I installed the firmware on the other machine (fool me once ....)
EDIT: <FONT color=#cc9900>Further testing showed that this is a problem with my thinkpad. The N200 works fine as a thumb dri've on every other machine I tried. I tried using another thumb dri've on my Thinkpad and it failed in the same way. Also tried a Muvo NX .. just for kicks and it didn't work either.
<FONT color=#cc9900>FUnny thing is that I can copy a file to the N200, read it back right away .. compare them and they are identical. ONce I remove the dri've, and plug it back in, the file is corrupted.

:smileyvery-happy:My N200 now works on my thinkpad, and I just have to report on what I did to fix it .. just in case this helps anyone however indirectly.
In the device manager, I changed all Host controllers from
Intel 8280CA/CAM USB Uni'veral Host Controller
    to
Strandard Uni'versal PCI to USB Host Controller
And now My USB not only works on my N200, it also fixed an issue with my USB scanner.
    HOW TO DO THIS:
Right Click on the My Computer ICON
    select MANAGE
select Device Manager in the left hand column
expand Uni'versal Serial Bus Controller in right hand column
Click on Intel 8280CA/CAM USB Uni'veral Host Controller and
Select Driver Tab and select Update Driver

    Hi,
Check whether KM is installed in your server. If yes then you can view it under Content Administration>> KM content(like the Portal Content).
In that you can see the Root folder>>documents>>Public Documents. If you wish you can create your own folder or can  just upload the file inside that folder.
    1. to create a folder go to Folder >> new folder...
    2. to upload the file click Folder>>New>>upload.. then you can browse to the local system and from there you can upload file.
The path that you have to give in the Iview shloud be like
    \documents\Public Documents\<your foldername>\filename.
    Hope this Helps

  • Where do the photo files end up after import?

    Hi Everyone.
After being on a mac for about 6 years and having iPhoto for a couple of years I actually decided to give it a try. Ya ya, I know. Took me long enough.
Anyways. I've gotten all of my photos into iPhoto and have them organized, but I noticed that it imports and resaves them. So I burned all of my photos to a backup disc and then deleted them off my computer.
Where would I find the actual individual files for each photo that iPhoto copied over? I noticed that I can copy them to the desktop or use them in other programs but as of now I haven't been able to find, on the computer, where the actual files are stored for each picture.
can anyone help me locate these?
    thanks
    Adam

--First thing to know and remember is this...Do not drag any images, folder of images into the iPhoto Library in the Finder. Images have to be imported into iPhoto within the application. Do not scan images and save them into the iPhoto Library folder in the Finder. Save them to another location such as the Pictures folder or even the desktop. You can then import them into iPhoto.
--All images that you import are sown in the library view. You can choose how you want to view, by rolls, by date, by rating, etc. When you put images in an Album, slideshow, book, etc, you are actually just putting pointers to those images in the library. You are not adding more images. If you delete an image from the Album it will still be in the library. If you delete an image from the library it is deleted from iPhoto's database and your hard drive (unless you have it backed up somewhere else)
--You have a folder of images on your hard drive and want to import them into iPhoto. Drag the folder of images into an open iPhoto Library window and the folder of photos will be copied into the library, resulting in a new roll with the name of the folder. You now have two copies of those photos, the ones in iPhoto's database and the ones on your desktop. You can keep the ones on your desktop that you just imported as backup or you can delete that folder.
-- you scan a picture/pictures and save it in a folder. You cannot scan directly into iPhoto or the iPhoto Library folder in the Finder.
You want all your photos in iPhoto so you import them into iPhoto.
Now you have two copies of that picture/pictures, so you can delete the originals that were in the scanned folder and keep the one/ones that were imported into iPhoto.
-- You download pictures from your camera into iPhoto.
There is now one copy of each of the pictures.
You want to change something about a picture you imported, such as
cropping it or changing the size, or changing the orientation.
Once you do that to a picture, you now have two copies of the picture
in iPhoto, the original and the edited one. The edited one will be in the library organize view. The original is packed away in an Original folder in your iPhoto Library folder under the date of the roll. You can always revert to the original by control clicking on the photo and choose "revert to orginal" You will not have this choice if you used iPhoto Diet to get rid of the Originals.
(a quick note on cropping within iPhoto...when you are in edit mode, you automatically will be in the crop mode with cross hairs to highlight the crop area. To finish cropping you must click the crop button and then go back to library view and your cropped picture will be there.
3.You want to use Photoshop or another graphic program to edit a picture in your iPhoto library.
You can open up prefs for iPhoto and choose "when double clicking on
photo ..do" choose "other" and select Photoshop. Now you can edit all
pictures in your iPhoto library in PhotoShop by double clicking. If you save the photo with the same name and as a flattened file it will be saved right into iPhoto and you will see the changes. If you don't want to save it into iPhoto then do a "save as" and save to the desktop. You will then have the original photo still in iPhoto and your new edited photo on the desktop.
Or, with iPhoto open, you can drag a picture from the library window
to your desktop (you see a + sign on the pic you are dragging). You now
have two of the same picture, one in the iPhoto library and one on your desktop. You can open up the one on your desktop in any graphic program and work on it. The one in iPhoto stays the same. You can also share/export the picture/pictures to your desktop or folder to work on them or do batch processing, etc. You will still have the originals in your iPhoto Library.
Or, you can open up the ~/Pictures/iPhoto Library/folders and option drag any
picture out of the folder to your desktop.

  • Converting files to dng after import

Hi. Brand-new Lightroom 5 user here. I don't remember the dialog box showing up to ask me at the time of import whether I wanted the pics imported as dng files or not. Now that they're imported, is there a way to tell if they are already dng? I also know how to convert them one at a time, but is there a way to just have them all converted at once? (There are a few hundred.) Also I'm being asked whether I want to only convert RAW files (I'm guessing that this is the case, but let me know if I'm wrong here). And if I want to delete originals after conversion (again, I think I do, but is there a compelling reason not to delete? Can you tell I'm not a professional photographer?)
    Thanks much for your help.

Hi. Brand-new Lightroom 5 user here. I don't remember the dialog box showing up to ask me at the time of import whether I wanted the pics imported as dng files or not.
    See screen capture.
Now that they're imported, is there a way to tell if they are already dng?
When you have one of the files selected the .dng extention will be displayed.
I also know how to convert them one at a time, but is there a way to just have them all converted at once? (There are a few hundred.)
Sellect the files in the grid view Library module and use the Library menu to select "convert to dng" see the screen capture.
Also I'm being asked whether I want to only convert RAW files (I'm guessing that this is the case, but let me know if I'm wrong here).
There is really little benefit in converting jpeg or tiff files to dng.
And if I want to delete originals after conversion (again, I think I do, but is there a compelling reason not to delete?
If you are using only Adobe products then you may never have use for the original raw files. However your camera manufacturers software and some other raw conversion software will not work with dng files. I am not a user of dng so my opinion is to always retain a copy of your raw files.
My main reason for shooting raw is to retain the original data for the benefit of utilizing further advancements in raw conversion software in the future, including software that does not support dng files.
Can you tell I'm not a professional photographer?)
No, as far as I am concerned there are many professionals and amateurs that may not know the answers to your questions.

  • Can't access jpeg files through finder after import to iPhoto '11

Am I missing something here? I recently imported my entire library from a backup source to iPhoto '11 on a new computer. I used to be able to browse the folders in the iPhoto library in a finder window. Now when I try to open the iPhoto library, the application itself launches.

Since iPhoto 7 (iLife 08) the old iPhoto Library Folder is now a Package File. This is simply a folder that looks like a file in the Finder. The change was made to the format of the iPhoto library because many users were inadvertently corrupting their library by browsing through it with other software or making changes in it themselves.
Accessing files via the Finder has never been supported on any version of iPhoto.
There are many, many ways to access your files in iPhoto:
You can use any Open / Attach / Browse dialogue. On the left there's a Media heading, your pics can be accessed there. Command-Click for selecting multiple pics.
    Uploaded with plasq's Skitch!
*_(Note the above illustration is not a Finder Window. It's the dialogue you get when you go File -> Open)_*
You can access the Library from the New Message Window in Mail:
    Uploaded with plasq's Skitch!
Many internet sites such as Flickr and SmugMug have plug-ins for accessing the iPhoto Library. If the site you want to use doesn’t then some, one or any of these will also work:
If you're using Gmail you can use iPhoto2GMail
If you use Apple's Mail, Entourage/Outlook, AOL or Eudora you can email from within iPhoto.
If you use a Cocoa-based Browser such as Safari, you can drag the pics from the iPhoto Window to the Attach window in the browser.
*If you want to access the files with iPhoto not running*:
For users of 10.6 and later:
You can download a free Services component from MacOSXAutomation which will give you access to the iPhoto Library from your Services Menu. Using the Services Preference Pane you can even create a keyboard shortcut for it.
    Other options include:
    1. *Drag and Drop*: Drag a photo from the iPhoto Window to the desktop, there iPhoto will make a full-sized copy of the pic.
    2. *File -> Export*: Select the files in the iPhoto Window and go File -> Export. The dialogue will give you various options, including altering the format, naming the files and changing the size. Again, producing a copy.
    3. *Show File*: File -> Reveal In Finder on a pic and in the resulting dialogue choose 'Show File'. A Finder window will pop open with the file already selected.
    3. *Show File*: Right- (or Control-) Click on a pic and in the resulting dialogue choose 'Show File'. A Finder window will pop open with the file already selected.
You can set Photoshop (or any image editor) as an external editor in iPhoto. (Preferences -> General -> Edit Photo: Choose from the Drop Down Menu.) This way, when you double click a pic to edit in iPhoto it will open automatically in Photoshop or your Image Editor, and when you save it it's sent back to iPhoto automatically. This is the only way that edits made in another application will be displayed in iPhoto.
Note that iPhoto sends a copy+ of the file to Photoshop, so when you save be sure to use the Save command, not Save As... If you use Save As then you're creating a new file and iPhoto has no way of knowing about this new file. iPhoto is preserving your original anyway.
All of the above are a: Faster and b: Safer than rooting around in the old Library folders.
    Regards

  • File not found after importing from external hard drive

I have been importing music from an external hard drive into my Itunes account.  Some of the songs transfer fine, but some of them show up in Itunes as being imported, but when I go to listen to them I get a file not found message because the original file cannot be found.  If I have the hard drive plugged in there is no problem, but without it I get that message.

What does this message mean during import of a file.
    http://screencast.com/t/OF4mSwA90
I got this problem after removing advanced pulldown on standard 24p footage. All the files were crossed out in the browser. i deleted them and re-imported but some are left out with that message on manual import.

The file plays fine in QT but suddenly won't import after attempted removing of advanced pulldown to all clips in the browser. The ones that remained 29.97 due to the inability of Cinema Tools to properly remove the advanced pulldown are the ones giving me the error on import.
