Paragon 550 - can I switch all sound off

Can I set my Paragon 550 so that all incoming calls and messages are left, with no sound heard?

Hi and welcome to the forum.
If you check out the user guide here (page 39) it does let you change the volume and the type of ring, you would have to experiment with the settings to see if you can actually turn the ringer off.

Same issue. Shuffle does not turn off either from the button or from Controls > Shuffle > Turn off Shuffle.
To be more specific, iTunes shuffles no matter what, even when the button is off and when Controls > Shuffle says "Turn on Shuffle" (meaning it's supposed to be off).

All Sounds Off

I have a Samsung flip phone - Model SCH-u410. I accidentally hit the "all sounds off" button but I don't know how to cancel this and return to the normal ring tone. Help!!

Go to your Menu >> Settings and Tools >> Sounds >> Call Sounds >> Call Ringtone to reset the ringtone. Explore the other Sound menu options to set other sounds.

If you just want to temporarily turn on all sounds from notifications, phone calls, messages, etc. you can turn on Do Not Disturb in your notification center. You can mute the iPhone by toggling the mute switch on the left side. As far as other apps, there may be some that you need to manually turn off to completely disable the sounds.

E71 put all sounds off except the phone ringing

I got the E71 from my company. Actually I not at all in to this fancy phone fashion. What I want is to make the thing only make a sound, vibrate or beep, WHEN I GET A .... PHONECALL.
Sorry for the caps, and it's not against Nokia all phones these days are like that. So give me all tips you can imagine. For example I want the thing to stop vibrating when there is a meeting in my agenda. It should only put it in the display. It should shut the .... up too when I got an email. Just a message on the display nothing more, no vibrates either. And I look, when I want to look. (I am the boss here, not my phone!) Also getting irritating bleeping sound off everytime I press a key. And any other tips to make the thing stop yelling at me, would make me happy too. And no, I do not want to use quiet mode, since it should ring, when it does, what a mobile phone should do, just ring when you got a telephone call.
Sorry for my frustration. :-)

Go to Menu -> Control Panel then Profiles
Pick one of the Profiles (or select Options and Create New)
Select options and Personalise
Set all Items to Off Except for Ringing Tone, Ringing Type and Ringing Volume.

How can I turn ALL notifications off at once?

Before upgrading to iOS5, I could turn off ALL notifications with ONE swipe and all back on with one swipe... I do that when I go to sleep, because otherwise, my phone lighting up over & over wakes me up somestimes... and I don't want to be awakened by notifications. But when I am awake, I want the notifications.
But it looks like with the new iOS5, you have to turn EACH one off individually... then turn them all back on individually. PLEASE someone tell me I'm wrong, that I'm missing something somewhere. That is a MAJOR HASSLE!!!! There HAS to be a way to turn ALL notifications off and back on in ONE step... PLEASE!
If not, HOW can we BEG Apple to FIX this horrible mistake? Because if this feature is gone, that's a MASSIVE error on Apple's part!! WHY they would remove that option is beyond stupid! So I really hope someone can tell me I'm missing something... I've searched and checked all over, but I don't see any way to turn ALL off at once, then turn ALL back on at once. I don't want to spend 10-15 mins each night turning each one off... then 10-15 mins turning each one back on one at a time. Major pain!

Yeah, it's even worse than I thought. I first turned off the Notification center on each app... STILL got notifications. So then I changed the alert style to "NONE" instead of alerts or banners. And last night I STILL got notifications!! OMG how difficult is it to turn these things off??? So now I ALSO turned off "Badge App Icon" figuring that MUST be it. Haven't gotten any yet, so I guess that's it.
But REALLY?? For EACH and EVERY app we have to do THREE STEPS??? Really SIX steps... 3 to turn off, and then 3 to turn back on!! ARE YOU KIDDING APPLE??
Whoever designed this part of the upgrade should be FIRED for being SO INSANELY STUPID!!! Why take something that was so simple and EASY to use and now make it more work, more difficult and all around ANNOYING!! This is the WORST thing about IOS5 so far for me... although with something this bad, I am sure there will be more bugs found! Guess I should have waited to upgrade! :-( But I thought your beta team would have figured out all the kinks & bugs BEFORE release! Guess not!

How can I switch channels on/off to be displayed in a waveform graph?

I have a VI which currently logs 15 analog channels to a data file and also displays these channels on a waveform graph. I would like to be able to switch channels on/off for the waveform graph during runtime but still continue to log them to the data file. Anyone know how I can do this?

You can do what you want by displaying or not the curve on the graph.
I have made a light example with a 2D 8 chanels 5 points/chanel array.
After you have a "writing in a file" part.
You have both chanel display command on the front panel.
Test it, and ask me if some point are not very clear...

All sound off on iPad new

Gurus,
Suddenly all my sound from my iPad new got muted. I tried every settings to get volumes back but all my efforts gone in vain.
1) side mute button: checked
2) volume levels: checked
3) side button switch rotation / mute: checked
4) double click home button and slide to check volume: checked
5) master reset settings: checked
After doing all these still I couldn't get my iPad volume back, only after I plugged my headphone I can hear sound. Any help is appreciated.

Can Application Switcher be turned off?

I am wondering if I can inactivate the command-tab key assignment to Application Switcher. Possible? Can't seem to find a way so far.

Just wanted to add my voice to those who want to disable predictive text. I hated it on my Nokia and turned it off (YES!!!). It makes my iPhone 3G seem LESS intuitive because it rarely, if ever, divines MY intentions. Whether it is a name, a term or phrase or from the smattering of foreign languages I incorporate in EVERYDAY life, the iPhone vomits up wrong choices, forcing me to correct, re-type, and sometimes re-re-re-type what I want. This is not a SMART feature.
Kinda reminds me of the usual MS explanation: it's not a bug, it's a feature!
PUH-LEASE, Apple... Give us the power in the next software upgrade!

Put the device in Silent or Vibrate mode to silence the camera shutter.

Can I switch all my apple devices to one account ...

and still access songs, books or programs that were purchased with the abandoned accounts?
If I permanently switch accounts on all my apple devices (iPad, MacBook Pro, iPhone, iMac, 2 iPods, Apple TV, Airport Express) to align with one account for iTunes, Mobile me, Apple Store, iCloud, and so on will I still be able to use items (songs, programs, books....) that were purchased under a different or abandoned account?
I understand that for some good reason Apple will not consolidate accounts.

I have this same issue. If you have had your Apple ID for a long time, there used to be a setting that indicated the frequency in which it would force a reset. The switch to change that frequency is no longer part of the Apple ID management website. I read online that calling Apple could help - that they would reset it for you. I tried that a couple of months ago last time it happened. They told me that next time I should just put in the same password three times and it would all be over. However, when I tried that tonight, it wouldn't accept a password which had been previously used. Like you, I have a bunch of devices and an Apple TV - painful.

Don't rely on iCloud to back up your photos. Photo stream only keeps photos for 30 days, and a maximum of 1000 photos. Your iCloud backup will contain camera roll photos, but if you delete them from your phone, then back up again, the next backup will not contain them. iCloud keeps up to 3 backups, but the backup containing the photos you deleted will eventually be overwritten.
To ensure your photos are safely backed up, import them to your computer as explained here: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4083. If you want to keep your photo stream photos, save them to your camera roll before importing your photos. To do this, open your my photo stream album, tap Edit, tap all the photos, tap Share, tap Save to Camera Roll.

I tried updating software on my iphone and it did not work. My handset has had the picture of the usb cable asking to connect to itunes for hours and i can not switch my phone off or reset it. Please help!

I tried updating iphone software and it did not work. It just shows connect to itunes with usb cable on the handset. I have tried for hours to try and turn the hanset off and troubleshoot but nothing works. The connect to itunes display can not be over-ridden.

Icloud mesage preventing ipad from responding - Can't switch on or off

A message has appeared saying 'icloud cannot access my account' and gives two options 'ignore' or 'settings'. BUT the ipad wont open and the message options do not respond. The ipad won't switch off so I'm stuck with this message on the screen and cannot access the ipad to do anything. Please help!!!

Have you tried a hard reset?
Press and hold the Home button and the Wake / Sleep buttons at the same time, keep them both pressed until the Apple Logo appears.
If that does not work then conect the iPad to iTunes and Restore the iPad software and your latest iPad backup.
