My webpage with parallax scroll effects flickers in internet explorer 11, when using the mouse wheel or the arrows in the scroll bar - Parcerias | Agrupamentos de Escolas | EEA | DGE
It works fine in firefox, chrome and safari.
    How can I fix this?
    Thank you

    Hi FilipaG,
Unfortunately there isn't much you can do. This is a performance issue with IE 11, so the only current way to make the site less jittery is to have fewer effects or group objects with the same effect then apply the motion to the group. Sorry for the inconvenience. You can also post in our feature requests section how you'd like to see easing added to Muse, because that would move all of the objects together much more smoothly than they do currently. Chrome and Firefox in particular have great built in easing so these sites usually look better on them.
    Thanks,

  • Parallax scrolling effect

Does anybody know how I can achieve the effect below with parallax scrolling in Adobe Muse? In the example below there is one illustrated image and another photograph, and when scrolling it looks like the illustration is being colored.

Please check out the Browser Fill section of the Scroll Effects article from below link.
    Scroll Effects using Browser Fill
Here is what I managed in Muse playing around with the same: http://colorfill.businesscatalyst.com/index.html
You can download the source file for the same from: http://colorfill.businesscatalyst.com/assets/colorfill.muse
    Hope that helps.

  • Adding Parallax Scrolling Effect to Adobe Muse

Just want this effect in Adobe muse, I think it will be great to have this option!
I hope the Adobe team may this possible in a better and easy way to add it to our designs.

Cool stuff, shame it isn't available in latest update of Muse. The effects panel only has 3 options: Shadows, Bevel an Glow.
    Why, Adobe?
It's like showing candy to kids, and then taking it away from them again

  • Best tool for jarallax parallax scrolling

I want to create jarallax / parallax scrolling effect. I doesn't know hard core coding so would like to know which is the best tool to work with Adobe dreamweaver, Adobe Muse or Adobe Edge?

Unfortunately true parallax scrolling with easing in not easily done like what a Adobe is trying to promote with their motion scroll effects in Muse. It needs to be done with jQuery and CSS3. Take a look at this site www.boy-coy.com. That site uses TRUE parallax effect. It's not achievable in Muse but you can use Dreamweaver to make your own code.

  • Parallax Scrolling and HiDPI in Adobe MUSE

    Hi all,
I have a small problem. I've upgraded to the latest version of Adobe Muse and enabled on my latest project the HiDPI feature. I've now found that when I replace the pictures linked to my parallax scrolling effect, the pictures are not the correct size anymore. They shrink in size and start to tile. I even tried to use a super-size the pictures and still nothing. Is this a known issue?? Is there are way around it or is there something I'm missing and need to change.
    Many thanks,
    Thomas

Hi Zak, There is nothing on the page yet expect a small .svg logo, two 100% width rectangles beneath the browser bottom guide, two anchors and a widget from MuseResource.com for magnetic scrolling between anchors.

  • How to add a parallax scrolling (jquerry plugin) to Muse with Insert HTML?

I know the parallax scrolling feature will come to muse in 2 weeks. But I must do a website with parallax scrolling before that time.
I actually have a site ready in MUSE but i want to add some parallax scrolling effects to this site. I know this is possible without the incoming muse updates because people did it with older muse versions.
There are some jquerry plugins that should do the work:
    http://plugins.jquery.com/stellar/
    http://plugins.jquery.com/parallax/   for example.
How can i add these effects to Muse with insert html/Edit html feature? I am not good at code so Could you please tell me the steps clearly even like putting the plugin into the directory?
Even if i include the plugin, how can i adjust the pluginn settings to some specific elements of a site?
    Please help,
    thank you!

If you're not comfortable with code, the simplest way to add parallax to Muse would be to join the Muse beta and download the beta build with the new parallax feature.

  • Responsive Design with Parallax Scrolling

    Hello!
I have read tons of articles and done many tutorials on the parallax scrolling effects available in Muse. However, I need tips on how to make your designs as repsonsive/fool proof as possible for different screen sizes. When I view some of my sites on a very large screen, I don't like all the blank space that appears when you have the secondary section set up with parallax scrolling effects.
It really helped me to see the ParallaxFX file that Adobe put out. While I can now execute most of the effects, I still feel that my web designs are not safe for the wide variety of screen sizes out there.
    http://journey.lifeofpimovie.com/#!/waves
Here is a site that appears to work on all browsers. No matter what size your screen is, and no matter how much you zoom in and out, the integrity of the design is still preserved.
    Thoughts?

    Hi
You can use pinning, 100% wide rectangles and text frames, inline images, fullscreen slideshows, etc to achieve partial responsiveness.
Basically use the key features in a way so that it shows the similar effect.
    Thanks,
    Sanjit

How can I stick an accordion navigation MENU on top of a mobile scrolling page and make it work properly?
As I can't pin it, I keep it on top of the page with scroll effect 0.
It collapse, shows the menu buttons but doesn't close back once it reaches the anchorpoint.

Muse won't let you, at least not that I know of. You could find the class in the code that muse gives it position: fixed…I think. You could paste it into the head area of your page properties to override the class. I believe something like this would give you persistent nav bar, pinned at the very top, on mobile:
    #youmuseclass {position: fixed;}
I wouldn't use any parallax on mobile either, the performance is terrible.

  • Scroll effect is not working with button

step 01: Make 3 pages (e.g. Home, About and Contact)
step 02: use state 3 individual buttons from widget and link them with pages (home, about and contact pages)
step 03: Try to use scroll effect with individual buttons.
    it will not work...
if you first use scroll effect and then link the buttons with pages then the button will not get display on browser.

What scroll effect are you using on the buttons?

  • Parallax scrolling for phone layouts

I think the parallax scrolling should be available especially for mobile phone designs, as these need to have all content vertically. Scrolling with the finger is also much more intuitiv than with a mouse, so this effect would give some playful interest to the website on a mobile device.

So weird that you dont get the problem when taping on a menu button. Still, that anchor thing may be the problem cause now that I remeber anchirs where a little bit to the left out of the effective area, so that could be the problem. I'm gonna try changing that and report results.
    Thanks so much triquita.

  • Photo gallery using parallax scrolling?

hey  i have been testing out each of the slide show widgets in adobe muse.  some of them are okay. the light box for once. is a challenge,  but heres something i want to learn how to do. and its parallax scrolling with photos for a gallery. i think for what i am wanting to do i think its the best layout for me.  heres a web site that hass it i think. http://album.alexflueras.ro/galleries/people.html#a1.
see i shows both landscape and portrait mode of photos. and thats been a challenge from the get go. so there i am thinking of using parallax scrolling . now how do i do this? is it done in photo shop and adobe muse. bec i do want to change out my i mages when needed?
now i am a tad bit curious. it looks good on desktop, but what about mobile devies. most phone. would it work great.?

  • Discover New Parallax Scrolling with Adobe Muse CC | Creative Cloud for Design | Adobe TV

Terry White, Adobe worldwide evangelist, shows how Adobe Muse CC lets you create stunning effects with just a few clicks. Make images and elements move in different directions at different speeds when scrolling — all without writing code.

There has to be a way to create a Re: Discover New Parallax Scrolling with Adobe Muse CC | Creative Cloud for Design | Adobe TV slideshow that fills browser width. It's not a problem for desktop, but it is a problem for laptops/tablets/phones.
How did the site in the tutorial do it? Terry said it was created in Muse.
Here is a test site that I've been working on - I would love to make it responsive w/o having to create separate tablet/phone sites:

  • Parallax scrolling not adjusting to different browser size, help?

    Hello everyone,
I am putting together this parallax website, http://natashajackson.businesscatalyst.com/index.html and it works on my 15 in mac book, but does not adjust size for smaller or larger screens. I can't seem to make the timing for all the "scrolling effects" line up for all browser sizes.
I have watched many muse tutorials and have figured out how to avoid horizontal scrolling, but again, it only appears to be working on my 15 in book.
The below photo shows my layout properties. Any magical tips that I am missing? I look forward to your feedback!
    Thank you

Hey manna9er I was able to figure out the 100% browser width and it turned out to be pretty simple. At first I was "Placing" my images into muse and scaling them to the width of browser, and it never was 100% width. I found that you cannot "Place" you must use the "Rectangle Tool" and create box the width of the browser, make sure that it is 100% browser width, the border line turns red and a tool tip informs you, as seen in image)
Next use the "Fill" option on your top menu bar-->select "Choose Image Background"--> upload image file-->scale to whatever size/style you want. (see image below)
For parallax go to Window-->scroll effects--> and play with Motion, Initial Motion, Key Point and Final Motion. Parallax takes some toying with to get desired effect.
    Hope this helps
