Parallax scrolling bug for tablet version

Hello,
I have a problem with the tablet version I´m doing for a site, actually this site: www.novaconcepto.com
I used the parallax to stick the menu to the top. Everything works fine in the desktop version and even in the tablet version if I just scroll, but if I click on one of the buttons of the menu it does a parallax move to the right, something that is not in the settings at all. Settings that are just the same for the desktop version.
Why is this happening?

So weird that you dont get the problem when taping on a menu button. Still, that anchor thing may be the problem cause now that I remeber anchirs where a little bit to the left out of the effective area, so that could be the problem. I'm gonna try changing that and report results.

Muse Parallax Scrolling Bug?

Hi There,
I've just started out using Adobe Muse CC this past week and so far so good. That is, until I start to apply parallax scrolling attributes to certain objects.
Basically, whenever I go to apply some scrolling attributes to a grouped object (rectangle and text box), the whole thing appears right at the top of the page.
A better way is to explain it through the screenshots below:

I've tried everything I can think of and I'm going slightly mad every time I try to rectify it!

Click the "down arrow" symbol on the right to open the drop down list and scroll

Parallax scrolling fix for text scroll?

Hello.
Two questions.
Having tried Muse and built this in the first day - http://htestsite.businesscatalyst.com/index.html - is this the only way to scroll text, whilst maintaining the fixed page layout?
If so, why, when preview appears to function correctly, does the published site reveal gaps above the header and footer?
Any thoughts or feedback appreciated,

Parallax scrolling on iPad

Hello all,
I'm looking to create a parallax scrolling page for use on the iPad. Can anyone direct me to a tutorial on this? or has anyone on here done one? I'm still quite new to Edge so not sure the best way to start on this.

Tablet version - Slideshow prevents scrolling when touching the slideshow

Hi There,
On the tablet version of my site here: http://cmmconstruction.businesscatalyst.com
When you get to the slideshows in the portfolio section of the site, they are preventing the user from being able to scroll up and down while touching the actual slideshow - swipe is enabled but I'd prefer to not use lightboxes for the tablet site.
This scrolling bug is not an issue on the phone version which contains the same type of slideshow widget.
Because of this the user must touch outside the slideshow in order to scroll and navigate the site on the tablet.
Is there a way to allow swipe enabled slideshows while also letting you scroll the site?

I am having the same issue since the upgrade to 2014 this is something that needs to be fixed it is preventing my site from scrolling vertical over a slideshow in the layout??? This has to be a mistake...
please advise asap

There has to be a way to create a Re: Discover New Parallax Scrolling with Adobe Muse CC | Creative Cloud for Design | Adobe TV slideshow that fills browser width. It's not a problem for desktop, but it is a problem for laptops/tablets/phones.
How did the site in the tutorial do it? Terry said it was created in Muse.

HTML Scrolling not working on Phone and Tablet versions

Hi - I've created a website across the 3 different platforms. My client has requested a blog - I've used Tumblr - I inserted this HTML for it:

This HTML works on the desktop version but not on the Phone and Tablet version. Please can someone let me know where I have gone wrong??

Bug in LV8 : 'Save for previous version' and 'Write to Binary File' VI

Hello
I am using LabVIEW 8's revamped 'Write to Binary File' VI with a 'TRUE' boolean constant wired to the optional 'prepend array or string size?' to write non-trivial structures to a binary file. I then read the file with the 'Read from Binary File' VI and everything is fine. I don't wire anything to the 'file (use dialog)' input (don't know if this can help).
However, after saving my VI for LabVIEW 7.1, I cannot read the binary files created with the LV7 version of the VI anymore. After examining the LV7 converted version of the VI, there is a 'FALSE' boolean constant that is wired to the equivalent of the 'prepend array or string size' input, which breaks the binary format that is expected.
The attached files are LV8 and 'saved for LV7' versions of a dummy VI that writes an array of 5 integers into a binary file. To test the bug, start LV8, open the LV8 version, run it and create a 'test-lv8.bin' file, then open the LV7 version, run it and create a 'test-lv7.bin' file. Check the content of the two files : the size of the array is indeed missing from the 'test-lv7.bin' file, which can be assimilated as a bug in my opinion.
I think I found another one too : if in LV8 I wire the 'cancelled' boolean output of the 'Open/Create/Replace file' to the selector of a case structure, the 'converted to LV7' version VI will have an error, saying the Case Structure selector is not wired.
Could someone please confirm these are indeed bugs ?

I'm using LV8.6 and need to read a .bin file created in MATLAB. This file obviously does not contain the 4 byte header that LabVIEW prepends .bin files with. So when I use Read from Binary File, I get no data (I'm trying to read an array of doubles). I've tried making my .bin file both in native and big-endian format and changing the representation (double, int64, float64) but none of this works. I noted that if I create the same array in a .bin file in LabVIEW and wire a FALSE to the "prepend array or string size?", my VI for reading .bin files can't read this file either.
Any work-arounds here?
(I'll try attaching my write & read VI's)

LV2011 bug - Error wired to boolen function breaks when saving for previous version

I just downloaded LabVIEW 2011 this morning. I created this VI and saved it for LV2010 to see how it would deal with it. I opened the VI in LabVIEW 2010SP1 and the error wire is broken. There were no warnings about problems saving this VI as an earlier version.

I would not consider this to be a "bug".
I would call it rather an "incomplete feature" were the extra-mile (backwards compatibility) is not fully implemented. So filing a suggestion is really the best thing to do (i will not file one since it is your idea, but i will kudo it!).
Saving VIs to previous versions does not change the BD itself. The requested functionality would require BD analysis and inserting (per scripting) an unbundle into the error wire. This is a complete new functionality, at least i am not aware that this is happening anywhere else....
As a "part time solution" i would like to see a BD analyzer which warns you about possible issues during downconvert. So in your case an "errorlist entry" like:
Warning: Connecting the error cluster to boolean functions is a new feature to LV 2011. Saving for previous version will lead to a broken VI.

Parallax scrolling for different screens

Hi there...
Does anybody know how to deal with different screen sizes and parallax scrolling?
It know the 100% width option so that is not the issue.....the issue is the height!!
Laptop versus desktop etc..
So what is the best height to use so it will fit all screen sizes?

I faced the same problem with the overflow controller.
Then depending on the number of records that I am showing in the table I have adjusted the size of the overflow controller in pixels.
my code looks some thing like this.
lv_oflc_height = 53 + ( lv_actual_visible_rows * 21 ).
if the filter is on 20 more pixels added to the height.

and this worked for some standard resolutions with out big difference.

Parallax scrolling for phone layouts

I think the parallax scrolling should be available especially for mobile phone designs, as these need to have all content vertically. Scrolling with the finger is also much more intuitiv than with a mouse, so this effect would give some playful interest to the website on a mobile device.

I am looking at online tutorials about parallax scrolling websites but I have a fully updated version via Adobe Cloud. I'm on Windows 8.1 but my Muse doesn't have the 'fill/scroll' menu. Why? Is it only a Mac option?

I want to create and offer a scrolling website for a restaurant client but I am confused by online tutorials that show a drop down menu with either fill or scroll. I have checked for updates but I am fully up to date. Does anyone know why I cannot access this scrolling menu please?

Thank you for your kind advice which I greatly appreciate. However, I think I have solved most of my problems by signing up with Train Simple on a $9 per month technical learning course. Within a few minutes I was able to locate the fill - scroll menu by simply clicking on the actual text of fill - which for some reason I didn't know about!. I stayed with the Muse fundamental course all day today and covered everything to do in Muse in great detail. I am now looking forward to the single page website learning experience with scrolling!

I want to create jarallax / parallax scrolling effect. I doesn't know hard core coding so would like to know which is the best tool to work with Adobe dreamweaver, Adobe Muse or Adobe Edge?

Unfortunately true parallax scrolling with easing in not easily done like what a Adobe is trying to promote with their motion scroll effects in Muse. It needs to be done with jQuery and CSS3. Take a look at this site www.boy-coy.com. That site uses TRUE parallax effect. It's not achievable in Muse but you can use Dreamweaver to make your own code.

How do I enable pop-ups -- generally or for a particular site. (Tablet version 9 or 10)

I have a corporate page that requires pop-ups to load. Actually it requires two pop-ups to load. So stock android 3.2 and Dolphin both choke with a "cannot open second pop-up window" message even after pop-ups are enabled.
I'd like to see if Firefox for tablets will work, but I can't get past even permitting the first pop-up.

When the site tries to launch a pop-up and Firefox's Show/Always/Never page appears in the background, a message appears in the foreground - "The page at ... says: The session manager window failed to open because your Web browser is configured to block pop-ups."
When I click OK in that foreground box, that box and the background Show/etc page disappear. I.e., I never get to say, "trust pop-ups for this site."
Is there any way to do this manually?
