Parameter attributes FM / Passing check box from FM ?

Hi Experts,
I hv a check box in Selection screen. I wanna to pass either ' ' or 'X' values from Z FM.
So,
I defined the check box as RSPARAMS in FM ( and also tried with defining locally as DATA: CHECK_BOX.)
I tried like,
1st case,
SELNAME - check_box
KIND-P
SIGN - nothing mentioned
OPTION- nothing mentioned
LOW- X (i.e. wanna check the check box)
HIGH- nothing
2nd case
SELNAME - check_box
KIND-P
SIGN - I
OPTION- EQ
LOW- X (also tried 'X')
HIGH- nothing
I observed in debug mode that, value is not passing!
So,
Wht is the correct?

In the importing parameter..type xfeld.. Where XFELD is the data element which has 'X' or ' '

The number of records displayed is set to 5.
Value When checked - 'Y'
Value When Unchecked - 'N'

I am writing the code inside 'WHEN BUTTON PRESSED'. My main objective is to return the count of records based
based on several conditions and one among them is CODE which is can be single or multiple based on the check box checked.
The requirement is when i check one or multiple checkboxes, i should pass the 'Code' item values to the WHERE clause.
Right now whenver i am trying to do so, only the current record value is copied to the WHERE clause.
I have tried using basic loop but things havnt worked.
Logic tried with basic LOOP

I can't import photos from my PC as my Itunes does not have a check box from Syncing under the photos option?

I am trying to import my photos from the computer. I went into ITunes, connected my Iphone and went under the photo section expecting to see a check box for syncing. It's not there and all I have is a note about Icloud. Can anyone help?

You can't directly print a checkbox as such in a smartform. But, there is a workaround.
Create two GraphicElements (for checked / unchecked). Assigned images to (for tick and untick) them.
In the conditions tab of GraphicElement enter conditions -
1. for checked - field = 'X'
2. for unchecked - field = ' '
To add images of tick and untick to system, Use transaction SO73.

Add a Check box to a Report?

I see a lot of posts with what you can do with a CheckBox (if you have one!). I've created a page to upload/download files...

But then realized that I couldn't delete a file that I've uploaded. I thought a CheckBox with a "Delete" button, as I'v seen on tabular forms would be a great idea. I have a pag in an application that does exactly that; but I've not yet figured out how to replicate that functionality!
When I look at the Column Attributes for the Check box, in my working TABULAR FORM, I don't get a TABULAR FORM ELEMENT...In my example I tried to create a column, but can't make it a Check box>
Ideally I'd like:
1. A check box for each row (okay if it supports multiple check boxes)
2. A delete button to delete the selected rows from the table.

Didn't quite follow the Syntax!
But after playing abit, I finall got it to work...I didn't know what to put for table_column1 for the check box so I pulled th ID again. I might delete my second ID, and just create another column to download...
Either way, it works now! THanks!

How can I format a field to have a Check Box in the center.

I am a new adobe user and I am creating a form in Adobe LiveCycle Designer. Most of what I needed to do I was able to figure out, but I cannot find a way to place a Check Box in the center of a chosen field. Each time I use the Check Box from the library it automatically places the Box in the center-right of the field. Then when trying to format the paragraph, I get no options about where I'd like the box to reside within the field. Is there a simple way to get a Check Box into the center of a Field or will I have to pursue other options. If I do have to pursue other options are there any ways to limit a text to an X and have it either be On or Off?

This behaviors usually happens when you create the fields but a copy paste command from one of the fields. The copy paste command assumes that your intentions is to maintain a copy of the field in two separate locations (e.i, a form field "company name" printed in each and every page of a multi-page form document.
Go to the properties fields of each field and make sure to assign unique form field names.

Refer the standard program *SF_WEBFORM_03* .
First page -- > main window --> Reservations --> loop --> webfields --> text node --> web properties (cancelled cell).

How to pass the check box values from one view to another view

Hi Experts,
I have a selection screen view which consists of check boxes.
WBS System status.
Release                      Completed                  Closed as 3 check boxes.
Note : The above ones are check boxes.
Based on the selection made by the user, those values needs to be passed to second view which retrieves the data and
displays the data accordingly.
At the same time if the user does not make any selection, then WBS System status should contain Released, Completed and Closed values and that needs to be sent to Second view.
Kindly advise.

u need to follow these steps :
1 in side ur component controller , under the ATTRIBUTES tab , make 3 attributes say attr1 , attr2 and attr3 of type WDY_BOOLEAN

Need to pass value from check box to the pl/sql function in process

My requirement is to use single value check box and pass the flag value to the pl/sql function.
The function need to interpret the flag and execute accordingly.
In this case checkbox name is P1_DELETE and it returns Delete, if checked.

checkboxes in APEX are handled as arrays, namely APEX_APPLICATION_GLOBAL.VC_ARR2. To pass and process the checked values of checkboxes in a pl/sql function or procedure you could use the following way, assuming you have a checkbox named P1_DELETE with a single return value of "Delete"

How to validate and pass a value stored in the Check box to a SQL report

I have a menu(parameter form) with select lists and two check boxes(one option for DD/MM/YY(called CHK_BOX_MTH) and other for Quarter(Called CHK_BOX_QTR)).
If the user selects the check box for month, he should be only be able to select list of values for Month, Day and Year. The user should not be able to choose Quarter(or should be prompted with a message, "Check only one option"). Similarly if Quarter is chosen, DD/MM/YY should be disallowed.
How do I code this validation in HTML DB and where would it reside on the item?
How do I then pass these parameters(Checked box value) using a URL to another page as input?
The query expects the following
SELECT ... FROM DIM_DAY
WHERE
(:CHK_BOX_MTH IS NOT NULL AND START_DATE = ":SELECTED_DATE")
OR

The only reason I am not able to use the radio group because I am not able to place the items shown adjacent to Month in the page. The From Date and To date (user enterable fields) should appear to the right of the Month radio button and quarter item to the right of the quarter radio button.
From Date : "Month" "Day" "Year" (should be displayed to the right of Month )
End Date : "Month" "Day" "Year" (should be displayed to the bottom right of
Month and above the Quarter line)

Passing column values to another tab if check box selected in that row

I have the following requirement.
I have a table that gets populated by a web service. Have added one more field to it which is a check box. Th requirement is that I need to pass the values of column (say id) from each row which has it's check box selected, as input parameters to a web service in another tab.
example: table has fileds id, name, address,checkbox. If there are 5 rows and the user select 1 and 2 then I need the ids of 1 and 2 to be passed to another tab.
Is this possible ........
