Parameter to internet service for transaction

hi All,
I have created a new ztransaction(report transaction) which has some parameters. I have created the internet service for this and also tested it. It's working fine
I want to know how to pass parameters to this service via url .

Internet Services For ESS In ECC 6.0

Hi Gurus,
Actually i'm trying to find the ESS Internet Services in ECC 6.0. We are planning not to use Web Dynpro appl for the moment and to use ECC 6.0 with integrated ITS using the internet services.
In ECC 6.0 under the transaction SE80 i'm seraching for the following ESS Internet services. But couldn't get that. The services are
*Payslip - PZ11
Time Statement - PZ04
Address PZ02
Emergency Address PZ05
Family Members PZ12
Personal data PZ13
Prev Employer PZ28*
whereas i can find the other services under SE80 like
*PZ01, PZ03, PZ24, CATW *etc.
I'm new in this, so detailed answer will be highly helpful.

Thanks a lot for your answers. It is really helpful. But lastly let me ask a question in SE80 we can create or modify HTML templates for the internet services. For these transactions for which i'm not getting through SE80, how can i change HTML layouts.
Correct me if my understanding is wrong. Points will be given obviously.

Error when creating Service for transaction in SICF.

I created a Transaction, and for this transaction transaction I am trying to create a service for this transaction using SICF transaction.
but after creagting service when I am doing test service I am gettging error follwoing message - can any one please let me know how to solve this issue.
The following error text was processed in the system DP2 : Communication failure
The error occurred on the application server dp2dca0u_DP2_01 and in the work process 0 .
The termination type was: IMC_CANCEL_TX
The ABAP call stack was:

Hi,
First you need to publish your service which you would get from the dropdown fro utilities->setting->its->publish.
Also check in transaction SICF whether your serivce is actiavted- else activate the same. you can find your serivice under the following path

Why don't I have internet service for laptop and desktop at the same time

Time capsule will either provide Internet service to my iMac (hardwired) or my laptop (wireless), but not simultaneously.

Open Macintosh HD > Applications > Utilities > AirPort Utility
Click Manual Setup
Click the Internet icon
Click the Internet Connection tab
Connect Using = Ethernet
Connection Sharing = Share a public IP address
Click Update to save settings
Wait a full minute for the Time Capsule to restart, then check the network again.

Separate Internet service for Guest Wireless

Hi all,
I was reading about security concerns having guest wireless sharing the corporate Internet services and therefore looking towards the path where a separate basic Internet serivce can be provided for them keeping the corporate side safe.
In doing that what i was thinking would be the way:
Extend the Guest Wireless VLAN from the core switch where the SVI is currently at to the new ADSL router's Inside interface. And in doing that I will need to configure the ADSL router for the right DHCP scope and DNS entries and finally remove the SVI from the core switch so it simple does switching across to this ADSL service.
Let me know if i am on the right track or if i am missing something.

it is a simple setup with just one controller. and the WLC is talking to the ISE to authenticate including the web auth login for the guest.
So to ans your Q, i think No, the WLC deosnt push the guest to the DMZ. the guest VLAN is hanging off the core switch at the moment. and using their corporate Internet service.

The only "incompatible" internet services are very rare.
1. For high speed internet the those are in some non-US countries with PPPoA connections that do not provide a simple hardware that gives an IP address dynamically (DHCP) or statically via their internet hardware. A few satellite internet providers also have an incompatible USB high speed modem. Most have an ethernet modem, and/or PPPoE support which is supported by Mac OS X directly. For those with a USB modem that has no ethernet, special drivers may be necessary, or support only exists if you have virtualization*:

We traded our home internet service for a Sprint Hot Spot. The hot spot does not have an ethernet port to connect through. Can we connect our time capsule to the wireless hot spot?

Hello, we switched our home internet service from an ethernet modem to a wireless hot spot.
Do you know if there is a way to connect our time capsule to the hot spot?
Everything I read only suggests connecting through an ethernet cable. I'm hoping there is a way to do this.

No you can't join a wireless hotspot with a Time Capsule directly via it's 'join' option (tried and failed - well to be exact it kinda works but the Time Capsule's ethernet ports no longer work).
What you can do is buy an airport express and use it's 'join' option to connect to the iPhone's hotspot. Then you connect the airport express via ethernet to the time capsule (in bridge-mode).
You can then connect your computers to the time capsule via ethernet or use it's wireless function to set up wireless network (with a different name to that of the hotspot) that your wifi stuff can connect to.

No decent internet service for months. Many techs and modems. Outrageously crappy support

So att switched our service from dsl to uverse a long while back. Seemed fine at first except for the raise in price. Old Internet was working fine but after the switch nothing worked. Called support and they sent a technician out. The tech said that the line doesn't reach and we had to wait. So we did. Nothing for a week. Called support again. They sent us a modem. Reinstalled the modem. Still nothing worked. Called support again and they sent out another tech. The tech solved the issue temporarily and there were issues again. Called support again and they sent us a new modem. This is the cycle that has repeated for the past 6 months. We have been paying for Internet without receiving any service and getting nothing but major frustration. I cannot amount or describe how crappy at&t as an internet provider is. There seems to be nothing we can do to get service and at this point I'd begin to not recommended any at&t service to anyone anymore. Major dissatisfaction. At&t would not begin to understand the frustration that support so claims. At this point on it'd be hard to describe my frustration without cursing.

Totally understand. I moved last year and was automatically put on uverse, not given a choice. Have had techs out a dozen times. I am so tired of telling the same story over and over again. I don't want their same old trouble shooting and can't take off work again for att.. I am going to report my intermittent phone/internet problem to the FCC. Mine is up and down many times a day. This is my last step before I drop ATT. You shouldn't have to pay for services you aren't getting consistently.

How to delete columns in table control (tab Services) for transaction ME51

Hi, gurus!
We're facing this problem in our upgrade: we have a batch input (ME51) in order to create purchase requisitions, but we get an error with the dynpro data (program: SAPMM06B, dynpro: 0102).
We are sure we populate all the required fields in that screen.
The only possible reason we find for that error is the fact that we have two new entries in table control (in tab services=> Current settings there are 67 fixed columns)
We had to add in table T162V (which previously had only 65 columns for each variant): ESLL-SRVMAPKEY y ESLL-EXTERNALID, as described on note 1382685, so table control and table T162V could have same number of fields.
We guess we could solve the batch input error deleting those fields in both table control and T162V, but don't know how.
We really would appreciate any clue.

It's an own batch input.
The error is: "Batch input information for dynpro SAPMM06B 0102 does not exist", but the fields in that screen are alright.
And that batch input works fine in another client with same patch level, but without fields ESLL-SRVMAPKEY and ESLL-EXTERNALID in table T162V, so I guess that could be the problem (not sure about it, of course).

wifi allows you to connect to a router. You still need an internet provider to source your content.

VA03 Services for Object

In a transaction ME21N.
Goto System->services for Object.
If i click on this we will get one menu.
But if do same thing in VA03 i am not getting. Please tell me how can i achieve this.

The object services for Transactions VA02/VA03 were
deactivated in the SAP Standard System for performance reasons. But the object services can be reactivated individually by setting user/profile parameter SD_SWU_ACTIVE = X.
The object services are only available for dialog users, that is, if
you choose user type 'Dialog' for the corresponding user on the
'Logon data' screen in Transaction SU01.

ESS Internet Service missing PZ02

Hello,
I'm implementing PORTAL EP6 SP9 with an 46C backend and an ITS.
ESS is working fine for most transactions except for
PZ02, PZ12. They do not appear in the portal with the html design but with a SAP GUI design.
In R/3, transaction SE80, Internet Services, those transactions are missing. I have PZ03 but there is no PZ02.
Could you plse tell me if we have lost something or if we have to update our R/3 46C system. (patch 48 and HRSAPKE46C90)

I recently noticed this with the ESS Personal Information workset. Seems the Personal Data, Family / related persons / previous employees etc don't have a service. They all use WEB GUI. Originally the Bank information iView looks also to be WEB GUI until you publish it. Then IAC templates are used and the thing sticks out like a sore thumb in comparison.
I have since deleted the service file from the wgate to force it to revert back to WEB GUI for consistency.
All these transactions are associated with program SAPMPZ02 which then determines what the county key for the user then though config table T77WWW_SC the function module that retrieves the data and controls the screen is determined. I'm sure they will be replaced it soon with Java based iViews like MSS, or web dynpro.
I have recently had problems with the ITS copying PZ03, can't get the search help to work though the ITS properly, which is another story.

Generic Object Services for Custom Object Type

I would like some advice please. I am not an ABAP Developer but I would like to enable the generic object services for transaction PP01 for a custom object type.
I have searched for information, which suggests that the object needs to be published using the function module SWU_OBJECT_PUBLISH so that it is available in the Business Object Repository. If this is correct, please could someone tell me (in simple terms) how I can do this (with the assistance of an ABAP developer)?
My colleague did some debugging which seemed to suggest that in order for the generic object services to be available, the field OBJTYP needs to be populated in table T778O. Is this correct? If so, how should this be done?
Your advice would be greatly appreciated.

BB Curve 9320 Internet Service (big) Problem

Hello, I have been having prob to use Data on my phone, I called the provider (FIDO),they confirnmed I habe a BB data plan on my account and changed the Sim Card right after I was unable to login into my Phone so kept asking BB ID password that I did have and reset it and still can't get ot use the phone. Hi and Welcome to the Community!
To use the proprietary BB services (including Push email capability, BBM, etc.), you must have an adequate data plan from your carrier. The carriers host BIS (BlackBerry Internet Service) for their BB users. Typically, BIS is not available via generic data plans. Many carriers call what is necessary The Blackberry Data Plan. Whatever they call it, it is the carrier who delivers BIS to their BB users -- contact them for assistance. Once you have a Push-email enabled BIS-capable data plan on your BB (at whatever fees your carrier will charge, btw), your BB-proprietary services will function (e.g., you will have Personal/Internet Email added to the email setup wizard, your BBM will function, etc).
With hundreds of carriers in the world, each with dozens of different data plans, it's impossible to tell you specifically what any service plan might actually provide. Only the carriers can answer that question. The best thing to do is to decide what services you desire, and then talk to your carrier about obtaining (from them) a data plan that enables what you desire. Good luck!
