    HI,
    To make additional settings or replace the default settings, enter the parameters and values in the table.
    those are JMSMessageClass and JMS.Message.method.setStringProperty.

  • ASMA parameters in file adapter

    Hi experts,
    Please explain when exactly we will get the requirement to use  ASMA attributes in file adapter and provide few examples?

    HI,
    Just to add a quick note, in the case of adapter like File Adapter you have the option in the Sender / Receiver File Adapter to select the ASMA and the corresponding Attribute ( eg : FileName, Directory etc ) to be used from the SOAP Header.
    In the case of few other adapters like SOAP, you do not have such explicit option. You add the ASMA to the SOAP Header using a UDF and you just select ASMA and Varibale Transport Binding in the Receiver SOAP adapter and all the SOAP Adapter value are replaced with header ASMA.
    Each adapter has a few specific ASMA and these can be seen along with the technical names while trying to set some condtion in the Condition Editory under Context Objects.
    If we check ASMA of file adapter ......all the information corresponding to that attributes will be available in the SOAP header
    Every adapter has a defined set of attributes, which are described individually as part of the configuration for each of the adapters. So these attributes would be visible. And better to call it Message Header instead of SOAP header.
    If we check ASMA in the receiver file adapter then receiver file adapter will pick those values from the SOAP header and will assign to the target file.
    Yes, if mapping of these attributes are done.
    Even we can directly set the target file name by accessing the system parameters through UDF.
    Yes

  • How to pass multiple parameters to DB adapter through BPEL process?

    Hi All
    I have created a BPEL process in which I am using invoke activity to call DB package.procedure having multiple parameters.Once the package gets executed it shows me custom exception message as input parameters are showing null values inside the package.
    When I see the audit flow in BPEL instance , it shows correct values against each parameter in BPEL process.
    Anybody know about this problem? why DB package is not able to read input parameters send through BPEL process?
    Regards
    Yogi

    Hi Chintan
    Thanks for your reply.
    Here is my procedure call. For these input and output parameters I have created variables @ BPEL process. Those variables are accepting values correctly.
    PROCEDURE custom_po_proc(
    p_return_status OUT VARCHAR2,
    p_error_code OUT VARCHAR2,
    p_error_desc OUT VARCHAR2,
    p_debug IN VARCHAR2 DEFAULT 'N',
    p_lgcy_trxn_num IN VARCHAR2,
    p_trxn_type IN VARCHAR2,
    p_operation IN VARCHAR2 DEFAULT NULL,
    p_po_number IN VARCHAR2,
    p_line_num IN VARCHAR2,
    p_org_code IN VARCHAR2,
    p_quantity IN NUMBER,
    p_user_name IN VARCHAR2);
    I just have one DB adapter based on above procedure.
    How do I increase the logging level, have not done that before.

  • Logging SQL parameters in Database Adapter??

    Hi there!!
    We'd like to be able to log all the parameters that are used in a SQL operation in Database Adapters. So far, we've been able to log the query with '?' instead of the real parameters. For example: select t.* from tsupcontact t WHERE t.idsupplier = ? AND t.idproject IS NULL AND (t.iduser = ? OR ? IS NULL)
    But we need to be able to see the actual parameters that are passed to the query (we're having some trouble with the database adapters and we need to see what's really going on the database).
    Any ideas? Thanks in advance!!

    You need to edit the the aslbdebug.xml file in ./user_projects/domains/<your domain>. Then go into the weblogic console and change the levels to debug. You will get lots of debugging. Below are the settings in my file.

  • Dynamic cnn parameters in DB Adapter

    Hi,
    I want to have my databse cnn name, connectionstring, userName, pwd in DBAdapter dynamic....i want them to be set through some properties file.
    I was following a process in which i have a File adapter with read operation which reads the file and then a receive ..which shud set the values in variables and then i want to use these variables in my DB Adapter. I am not able to implement this.
    Can you guide me how we can acheive this...wht the procedure we need to follow.
    I was reading abt the Header variables ...but found a note in the URL posted that
    Note: Only the FTP/Files, JMS and AQ Adapters support Header elements.
    Thanks for all your help

    Dasmeet, as I replied you when you wrote me via email (which I do not encourage - as it does not scale and the community will not get the information) -
    Pls make use of the datasource feature (it's on the page of the db adapter wizard [a field] where you choose the connection that should be used)
    In the DB adapter generated WSDL (you have 2 per plnk - one header one payload look for this line <jca:address location="eis/DB/<something>" ) this is the pointer to the datasource location
    At runtime we will first try to locate this DS and if not found use the MCF (managed connection factory - that is defined in your WSDL).
    The only thing left is to add that datasource to oc4j-ra.xml in $BPEL_HOME/integration/orabpel/system/appserver/oc4j/j2ee/home/application-deployments/default/DbAdapter and restart the server

  • Parameters retrieval in adapter module

    I want to retrieve following details in an adapter module
    1) Sender Service : message.getFromService().getName()
    2) Sender Interface :
    3) Sender Namespace :
    4) Reciever Service : message.getToService().getName()
    5) Reciever Namespace :
    6) Reciever Interface :
    How can i retrieve 2,3,5 & 6?
    Regards,
    Amol

    My suggestion it´s to write the information you need on specifig tag in the payload, during the message mapping, with a custom function like this:
    String namespace;
    java.util.Map map;
    map = container.getTransformationParameters();
    namespace = (String) map.get(StreamTransformationConstants.INTERFACE_NAMESPACE);
    return namespace;
    For more information:
    http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/e2/e13fcd80fe47768df001a558ed10b6/content.htm
    After this you can read the informations in the adapter module, and delete the added tag in order to have a clean payload without the additional parameters

  • Database Adapter not working properly for more input parameters in OSM

    Hi,
    We are using OSM 7.0.0.3 and using design studio for development.
    Recently we are facing issue with the database adapter.In Studio,we have options for configuring the JDBC adapter.
    we have custom table in the database which has four columns with it.we are suppose to retrieve this table data using database adpater.
    so,whats happening here is,when we are sending two parameters as input to database adapter,we are able to retrive the table data properly.
    but,
    when we are sending morethan two parameters as input adapter,it is not giving right results.
    so,
    is there any constarint on how many parameters to be send as inut to adapter???
    any opinoin on first look at the issue??i will share the sample code if needed.

    Hi Naidu,
    OSM 7.0.0.3 is a very old version and they are many fixes on top of it. So request you to please use any of the latest versions of OSM 7.0.1/7.0.2/7.0.3 and retest the issue. We are not giving any patches on top of OSM 7.0.0. You can also raise a service request for further investigation and analysis.

  • Adding custom Adapter information Parameters for Oracle Inbound Telephony

    Hello,
    I am implementing a custom adapter for Oracle Inbound telephony. I need to configure a few information parameters for my custom adapter. I am using the "Adapter Server Info <1-6>" fields on the Call Center html administration page (under the "Middleware" section). But I need to configure more than 6 parameters for my adapter. Does anyone know if we can add more "Adapter Server Info" fields?

    You may explore using a BPEL process to set the so header for calling the web service instead of directly calling it from BPMN process.
    Steps.
    1)Create a BPEL process.
    2)Select the checkbox "Expose as a SOAP service"
    3)In the BPEL process, set the SOAP header parameters that are expected by the called web service.
    Refer section
    6.22.2 How to Send SOAP Headers in BPEL
    of
    Oracle® Fusion Middleware
    Developer’s Guide for Oracle SOA Suite
    11g Release 1 (11.1.1.6.3)
    E10224-15
    4)Now in your BPM web service adapter , instead of calling the web service directly, call the web service endpoint of the newly created BPEL process.
    Hope this helps.
