Hi,Using Crystal Reports v. 9. I'm trying to create a report that will give me the sales to a group of 5,000 customers who were sent a mailing. For the mailing they were broken down into 12 segments. I have the sales data for all of those who responded. I'm trying to set up a report that will show me the 12 segments as separate groups, their sales for the promotion period (January, 2008) compared to their monthly sales for the previous 3 months (4th quarter) by month.I've tried several approaches but so far haven't licked it. My latest was to set up a parameter for each of the 12 segments, one each. I did this by creating 12 Excel files, one per segment, with account ID numbers for that segment only, saved as text. Then, when I created each of the 12 parameters in Crystal I used the Excel files as import lists for the default values for each parameter. Then I tried to group the data in intervals, based on Account IDs, and set the condition for each group (I thought I could create 12 groups) using the parameter for that segment. But the parameters don't show up in the pulldown list for the condition. It just shows the list of account numbers in the data. I would appreciate any thoughts you have on....1. How to get the parameters to show in this particular approach to the problem.2. Other approaches to solving the problem.Thanks!

Take the flash drive to the computer you know it works on and copy those files off of it, possibly emailing them to yourself so you can use them on your MacBook. Get a different flash drive that will work better with your MacBook.

Images won't show up when I try to upload online

I need help to figure out why my photos won't show up when I try to upload them online (e.g. Facebook, Pinterest, Google+). All of my photos are in iPhoto and it used to work fine until I updated to ver 9.3 a coupe of days ago. When I open iPhoto, it shows all the images but when I try to upload something, I couldn't find my photos so I end up copying them to my desktop first which is very inconvenient, especially if I am uploading severa photos. It works alright when I attach photos in Outlook though, so I'm not really sure what I'm doing wrong here. Any help is much appreciated. Thanks a lot!
PS I did some screen shots if that would help explain things better. By the way, my OS version is 10.7.4, if that is relevant at all?

Where did you get the phone?
If you see an ICCID unknown in Settings>General>About, that indicates a catastrophic failure. Very often this is caused by hacking or jailbreaking the phone. It can not be fixed. The phone will have to be replaced.

You are doing all of the right things. Just keep trying. I never owned an iPhone until last week, and I was having fits getting my phone number to appear in my settings. I signed out of Messages and FaceTime on my iPhone and my iPad and just kept trying the whole cycle over and over until it worked. It took about 4 or 5 tries before it finally worked.
Sign out of both apps on the phone and the iPad, then start with the phone and sign in again on that device first, then try on the iPad again

Address won't show up when creating a calendar event

I created an event like "Lunch". As location I started typing the friend's name, as her address is stored in Contacts on my iPhone (and synced over iCloud). The friend's address, though, won't show up. Besides, a friend's address, whose first name is the same, was shown.
This means that just the address that I'm looking for is not shown, but some others do show up! It doesn't make any sense to me.
Any hint? Is it kinda bug (for what??) or what else?

First time posting on this site. I am fairly new to using SQL Server Express. I created a split-database in MS Access 2010 and have successfully migrated over the backend database to SQL Server Express. When I was using the FE forms in
Access, I use to be able to see a calendar icon where I could select the month and day in the date/time field.
I compiled the FE forms to binary format .accde so that I could distribute this to the users and they couldn't change my forms. After migrating the tables to SQL Server express for the BE, I am no longer able to see the calendar icon when I try to enter
in data in the date/time field. Same for the original .accdb file before the binary conversion to .accde.
How do I get the calendar icon back to show on the form when a user is entering in data? I appreciate any assistance I can get. Thank you!

I don't believe the table changed when migrating from Access. I had two tables before the migration, one was for the SwitchBoard Manager and the other table was for the database table. I used the Switchboard to navigate to different menus, such
as the Main Form, Power Form, Server Form, etc. Let me know if I can provide any other information to help you narrow this down for me.

Why won't my iPad won't show up when I open iTunes?

I received my iPad as a gift last month. I have iTunes (v 10.1.1.4) on my PC (running Windows XP). I no longer have an iPod so I want to download my library of songs to my iPad. However, when I hook up my iPad to the PC, and I open iTunes, the iPad does not show up. My PC recognizes it's hooked up because it's visible in my Windows Explorer. Why won't iTunes recognize it?

Update to the newest 10.5 version and try again. Open itunes and go to Help/Check for Updates.

Itunes 7 won't show songs when Ipod is plugged in.

I used to just plug in my ipod on the old Itunes, click on the "manage manually" button and be able to look at and play (through my computer) all of the songs on my IPOD (My home computer is a separate laptop)
So I downloaded Itunes 7 and when I plug in my IPOD, I can still play songs on my ipod, but that new "ipod summary-version-options" screen is up and I can't get rid of it to see the songs on my IPOD. I can still play the songs, but I can't cycle through the library or pick and specific ones.
Its probably something simple but does any know how to fix this?

click the little triangle next to the ipod in the source list. when that is pointing down, you'll see "Music" and a list of playlists on the ipod. click on one of those to show the contents of the ipod, or the contents of a playlist on the ipod.

Document Images won't show up when opened by Windows Users

When using Pages or Microsoft Office 2004 for MAC to create documents that have .giff, .jpeg or.jpg images in them my Windows based recipients can not view the images. This was also an issue with HTML pages I created in TextEdit. The recipient can see everything in the document or page except the images which have a red "x" or a blank screen with a message that states "quicktime and a decompressor are needed to view this file". It even happens when the recipient has the same update of quicktime that I do and when I use MAC's Grab utility....Please help, this issue is adversly affecting my grade in technology class and since the instructor is not a MAC user they have offered no help or sympathy. What's really frustrating was there was no issues viewing images in documents before the end of March.

All documents have a .doc extension and again I have to ask why one picture on the same document might show but not the other and why this only started at the end of March? This was not an issue I had before then. I could try saving as a PDF but the assignments must be turned in as a .doc or .rtf so a PDF format would not help me. I have the same issue whether I use .rtf or .doc. I assume it is a Quicktime issue or a setting I have made or changed. I read a few online forums where people had difficulting viewing images in PP or QT and they attributed it to a bug in the QT update that could onlybe fixed with a complete OS re-install and not reinstalling QT. It makes sense in someways, given that this is a new issue, however why does it randomly select images? I can't afford a complete OS install. I guess I will have to take both my PC and MAC to the Apple store an hour from here and have someone look at what I'm experiencing. Another hassel I was hoping to avoid, but I can't keep ignoring random loss of images for the rest of my life and I get the feeling this is an issue that doesn't have a forum answer.

HELP! iTunes won't show iPhoto when syncing iPhone 6

PLEASE HELP!! I know this has been covered to some degree in other threads, but I haven't been able to solve this. My iTunes will not sync my iPhoto Library wih my iPhone 6.
Basically, I bought a new iPhone 6, which was restored from backup. I was never an avid user of iPhoto in the past and because most of my photos come from a different camera and most of my pictures have been compiled through time, I never really saw the point in filling up my measly 16gb iPhone 4s with a bunch of pictures. So I never really synced my photos in the past.
Now that I have a 128GB iPhone 6 I figured I could start sycing my pics and share them or whatever. I'd like to able to sync to my iPhoto Library via iTunes to my iPhone.
So this is what happens. I can see my photos fine on iPhoto. When I connect my iPhone, only iPhoto launches and it 'll download any recent pics.
When I launch iTunes, it'll detect my phone - BUT when I go to the Photos tab, when trying to sync to my iPhoto Library, the ONLY option I am given is to sync to "PICTURES" folder which contains my 'desktop pictures' folder with only 40 some pics... BUT IT ALSO HAS MY IPHOTO LIBRARY WHICH ITUNES WILL NOT PICKUP ON???
Am I missing something?? thanks everybody in advance for helping me.

When I go through Media... It shows me iPhoto and Photo Booth icon but prompts me to open iPhoto to see the photos... even though as you can see from the window in the background iPhoto is open....

Flash menu bar won't show up when i upload the site to the web

I don't see any Flash code in your link.
You do realize that Flash Menus are not web & user friendly, right? They are invisible to non-flash supporting devices like iPhones/iPads, language translators, screen readers and search engines. When people without Flash land on your page, what will they do?
The best advice I can offer is to ditch flash for navigation and use CSS styled text or the Spry Menus that come with DW.

Videos won't show up when trying to import to iPhoto (and iMovie)?

I recently got a new Panasonic Lumix DMC-G5 camera for filming my YouTube videos. When I try to import my videos to iPhoto in order to edit them, all the pictures show up but it's as if I have no video files on the camera. I have tried importing straight to iMovie, but I have the same problem there.
This is really frustrating seeing as I have an upload schedule which I'm now thoroughly behind on, as well as clips for four videos I wanted to upload to YouTube weeks ago.
Help would be much appreciated!!

You would not be importing to iPhoto to edit the movies, they should go directly to iMovie. iMovie also has an option to upload directly to YouTube.
You really need to ask on the iMovie forum. A couple of tips:
You don't mention what format these movies are. I note that this camera shoots both AVCHD and MP4. You need to explain which you are shooting.
Also, be sure to mention which version of iMovei you have.

Why Logic won't show flats when the key is with flats?

Why is logic always show sharps and not flats in the matrix editor when we click on notes? If I input a Key with flats in the Global track signature, there is no change, I always see the name of notes with sharps instead of flats?
This is so simple to ask for a professional software! My 15 years old sequencer was doing that! Did I misunderstand something?

It can see how it could be useful to have the option to display note names according to the key signature in the event and matrix editors. But I can imagine that this kind of thing could also lead to a fair amount of confusion in some cases.
Example: to simulate harp glissandi, I'll use a mapped instrument as the front end for the instrument and remap the notes of the white keys so that by swiping a finger across only the white keys I get all the correct pitches. If the scale is C7 I'll map all of the B's to Bb's. Now of course, in the mapped instrument display, Bb is always shown as A# because here we're dealing with the remapping of notes in a MIDI context. But in harp writing, the B strings played with the pedal up are called Cb! If the piece I'm writing is in F# and the C7 gliss represents a brief enharmonic excursion, it starts to get a wee bit mind-bending as to how the notes should be named in the mapped instrument as well as matrix and event editor!
So in these cases, the idea of using the conventional MIDI names for the notes makes for the least common denominator. When it comes to MIDI (and not music), an A# is always an A#, etc. and you can count on this for consistency.
Of course, if this option to show note names as proper musical pitch was in place, there would have to be the option to turn the feature on and off depending on what aspect of Logic you're working in because there are lots of places where pitches are referenced! Theoretically, displaying notes as per the key changes could/would have an effect on:
• matrix editor
• event editor
• transform sets
• transformers, monitors, and virtually all Environment objects
• transport display of incoming and outgoing notes
...it's a pretty long list!
So perhaps it's not all that simple a situation. Still, if this feature was confined to the matrix and event editors, I think it would be a handy thing to have.
