Parent fail/aborted. Transaction is already in progress.

I cant patch my SLES11 server, i've added the installationmedia from
zypper and can install and modify my packages from zypper install etc.
But I cant patch this server. I've rebooted and ONLY assign
SLES11-Updates bundle to the machine. I tried restart novell-zmd but it
doesnt work patching....
Can someone help me out?

I am trying to do a full deployment(ATG 10.0.2) and its failing with the same transaction timeout on all environments (local, dev, stage)
I have tried to reduce the maxThreads to 1 in DeploymentManager but still i get the same exception.
Incremental deployments seems to be running fine if i deploy anything, like category, products, skus.
Even the catalog feed runs and deploys fine.
I have a total of around 1500 products and 7000 skus.
In BCC screen i see it gives timeout while deploying skus

I am using ATG10.0.2 with jboss-5.1-eap
I have tried increasing the timeout on jboss, but it only stops the timeout from happening, but the full deployment takes forever and takes more than 12 hours.
The catalog itself is too small and shouldnt be taking that much at all.
I just checked one thing:
I have a one to many relation with my sku and sale price(custom table) which has 11000 rows. If i delete the data in this table the deployment happens fine and takes about 30 mins.
The relationship it self seems correct.

The only thing i m not able to understand is why its taking forever to get the full deployment.
Incremental deployment in catalog happens quickly, if i deploy any sku,product or anything.
Is it something to do with ATG or jboss?

I am duplicating a database as document explains. Legato support says that there's no session, neither can be seen in the target or catalog.

Error on nexus 7k series " operation failed.the fabric is already locked"

getting following error on nexus 7k series switch: error is " operation failed.the fabric is already locked", while removing ntp commands (no ntp server 10.101.1.1) from switch. Please help.

I had the same error message, only in my situation Outlook would only open successfully every 4 or 5 attempts. When Outlook would open (versus just hanging at the splash screen), I would get two dialog boxes with the warning/error message.
After I clicked okay I could get into Outlook.
Previously I experienced this problem running my Office 2010 client with my Exchange 2007 mailbox on my old laptop. The problem followed my mailbox through an Exchange 2010 migration (so new Exchange org), client upgrade to Outlook 2013, and a new
laptop (so I knew it wasn't a corrupt profile). This led me to the conclusion that it was a corrupt item(s) in my mailbox.
To resolve the issue, I archived *everything* in my mailbox to a PST file, ran SCANPST to fix the corruption, and then uploaded everything back into my Exchange mailbox one folder at a time, stopping after each folder to close and restart Outlook so I could
narrow down which folder had the corrupt item if the problem recurred. I'm happy to say my issue is now resolved.

Check out JCRE specification. Therein you will find what is (not) part of a transaction.
1. All global arrays are not part of a transaction
2. All transient fields/arrays/keys are not part of a transaction
3. OwnerPIN object is not part of a transaction
4. All Java Card API methods are transactional, except arrayCopyNonAtomic and arrayFillNonAtomic

Creation of Microsoft Azure Website failed. The application already exists

Trying to create a new website, I get this error:

I succeeded to create this website earlier on and then I deleted it as I didn't need it anymore.
Now I want to create it again but I get this error even though I've deleted all websites, hosting plans, cloud service, etc from my Azure account.
Any idea on how to fix this?

At this point, I don't know how it happened, but we'll need to dig deeper. I believe there is a sequence that can cause problems if you create a site via Current portal and delete it via Preview, but I'm not sure.
BTW, it seems you have 2 other sites that may be in the same situation (deleted in a way that you couldn't recreated them). They're 'shortl...dev' and 't..d' (not giving full name to avoid squatters!). Do you think you'll want to recreate them later? If
so, we can do the same maneuver to get back to a good state.

Hello,
Initially I was not able to log into the Visual Admin. When I logged into the Visual Admin, I got authenication failed. I reset the password of Administrator in the User Administration on the portal. Now I can log into the Visual Admin using the password I just changed on the portal .
I am not able to logon to the portal using "Administrator". I get this message: "Authentication failed. User is already authenticated as a different user."
The URL is somewhat different as this is a production portal: "http://host.com/sld" (/irj/portal)
Does any one have a clue.

Trying to drop files onto a droplet that is already in progress with another file.

I'm trying to find a way to drop a file on a droplet and before the action of that droplet finishes, drop another file on the droplet and have a queue or some other way of photoshop recognizing and processing the second request once the first has finished. Currently PS CC 2014 just ignores the second file. I think automator must have a way but have been messing around to no avail.

Ah, I see now what you mean, Marc but I don't know an answer.
Maybe you could try and see what happens if you make two or more droplets
(with identical contents but a different name - so you can put them in the
same place). Not sure if this is even possible but maybe worth trying...

Can't get device information: Operation already in progress

Hello,
I am trying to connect my Microsoft Notebook Mouse 5000 and having a bit of trouble. I am following the instructions I found here: https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Bluetooth_Mouse
I have all the packages installed and am able to search for and find my mouse. The problem is when I try to connect to it. I have tried using both these commands
hidd --connect <bdaddr>
hidd --show
Both of them give me the same error message. "Can't get device information: Operation already in progress"
All the information I have found on this error just says to use the first command, which did not work.
Any ideas on where to go from here?

If you have the shadow directory function running (http:///help/lms_admin/index.html?config_EnblDsblShadowDir.html) then you will have a group of flat config files that are not linked with LMS in any other way. That is to say that the files generated are simply text files residing within the shadow directory that should mirror what you have in the database.
This function is one way. LMS generates the file upon config change to 'shadow' what is in it's database.
In regards to the C2960 24TC-L, you need to obtain the sysObjectID for the device. For example:
WS-C2970G-24TS has a sysObject ID of 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.1.527.
If you navigate to the Device Status Page: http://:1741/cwportal/group/lms/lms-deviceadmin
There you will find 'Supported Device Finder' where you can enter the device [IP,Display Name, etc].

Adobe CS4: Error 1618. Another installation is already in progress.

I can not reinstall the Flash or Fireworks components of my Adobe CS4. I get this error message: Error 1618. Another installation is already in progress. I am attempting to reinstall Adobe Creative Suite 4 because Acrobat was not interfacing with my Microsoft Word. Reinstalling Creative Suite reinstalled Acrobat which now interfaces correctly with Microsoft Word but I can not reinstall Flash or Fireworks which had been working fine. I open my task manager and shut off any unnecessary processes and disable my Norton firewall and antivirus. I have tried multiple times, restarting my computer after uninstalling CS4 before trying to reinstall. Does anyone have any ideas as to how to fix this?

"Transaction Errors : Aborting transaction on session " while processing the cube

HI Team,
Currently i have developed a cube and successfully deployed it in to the SSAS server.
But when i process the cube the measures in the cube got successfully processed. After that the process is still running and showing the status as "Transaction errors : aborting transaction on session XYZAB".
can you please guide me in solving this issue. The cube takes more than 6 hrs to process.

Do we have any other way to resolve it.
If I restart SSAS Server, It starts working fine and I cant restart at day time.

Migrate To Mac "Installation already in progress"

I got a Mac Book Air yesterday - and just tried to transfer all my files from my Sony Vaio just now. After restarting and updating my computer it still says that I am already installing the program which I am not.
"Windows Migration Assistant: Another installation is already in progress. You must complete that installation before continuing this one."

I was in safe mode with networking and now got this message. Is it because I'm in safe mode?
That's my guess. It tells us the Windows Installer is being used. That service is apparently not loaded in Safe Mode. See KB2642495. You've never seen that message after booting in normal mode, right?
Do the System Restore as far back as you can.
Also, uninstall the Norton stuff. Tear it out by the roots.
Download and run the Norton Removal Tool to uninstall your Norton product
Replace it for now with Microsoft's program, which interferes with nothing.

Can anyone shed any light on what is happening during this following process? It occurs in our UpdatesDeployment.log file right after a Software Update Group has been deployed to a client. The client is healthy and can get normal application,
task sequence, etc. deployments. However, some software update deployments don't seem to get past the acknowledgement step.

We've tracked the assignment GUID back to the deployment unique ID and can confirm that this deployment is deadlined and should be installing on clients that need some of the updates contained within. We have similar deployments that do work just fine
and don't throw the "already in progress state" message, so it isn't a universal issue that would prevent all software update deployments.
We just have several deployments in our environment that will not even appear to evaluate on our clients and I'd like to rule out that the above message is not an indication as to why. We are feeling like the client thinks something is in progress with
evaluating/downloading/installing updates from this deployment, but something is hung or broken in the SUP or WSUS somewhere.
Any thoughts?

My hunch is that the line "No current service window available to run updates assignment with time required = 1" may be the culprit but I'm not sure. I'm just not certain what this means exactly. I want to say from other forum posts this has
to do with maintenance windows, but I had this client's collection set to two hours from 3am-5am. I just reset the maintenance window on the client's collection to 23 hours of every day for testing purposes, but I didn't have a successful test. I
had the same log results, but maybe I didn't wait long enough between the change and the test.
