PARENTAL CODE 4 n96 dstv mobile

pls av tried out d 12345 lock code bt stil am unable to watch some few channels.anytime i insert d code,d tv js automatically closes...Y?pls help

you will have to contact the developers of the application, as this is a user to user forum for Nokia products and services only. However, since it is such an old app (and even if it is part of bundled software with the N96 when you bought), support for this model and the application may have ended at your local Nokia Care a long time ago.

  • Parent Code

    I have a movie clip inside by document with buttons that i
    want to link to website. I know have to use the parent code to make
    it work but I don't remember how to word the code to make it work.
    Thanks!

    frs, it doesn't matter about mouse handlers on the button.
    the issue is mouse handlers on the parent movieclip of the button.
    and are there mouse handlers defined for the parent's parent? or
    the parent's parent's parent? etc until you get to the _root
    timeline. there's no parent of the _root timeline so there's no
    need to check further.
    dt, if the cursor respond to the mouse, then you have a
    different issue from frs. you don't have any mouse handlers defined
    for your button. show the code you are using that you think defines
    a mouse handler for your button.

  • Dstv mobile

    Where can i download dstv mobile for lumia 520 because the phone does not support.

    Ask DSTV  at http://dstv.com
    It would be up to them to develop such an app. It could be there is a possibility to watch through Plex but I do not believe there is a channel plugin for dstv, at leat not an official one.

  • N96 T-Mobile - Firmware

    Hi
    I recently unlocked my N96 via the lovely people from t-mobile.
    I wanted to know if there is anyway to upgrade my phone to the latest firmware.
    I'm currently on 12.xxx something.... the upgrade software tells me that I have the latest update for this particular t-mobile branded phone.
    Wanted to know if there is a way round it?
    Many thanks!

    By unlock I presume you mean you have applied the network unlock code to remove the sim bar
    Unfortunatly this does not affect your ability to update the firmware as your phones product code is still tied to t-mobile and there release schedule
    Your only legitimate route is to contact t-mobile and get there written permission to have the phone de-branded, then take this to a nokia care point who will use official software to change the phones product code, replace the label under the battery and enable you to update
    any other method you may read about on the internet will void your warenty and cannot be discussed here

    I Am trying to restore my mini ipad however I had let my grandson use it at times so had a parental control on it. I now can't remember this code and I am unable to restore the iPad back to factory. Help!!!!
    thank you

    Remove restriction passcode

    2. You can restore from a backup that was done before you enable the Restriction Code.

  • Edge Animate code into Dreamweaver jquery mobile theme?

    I am having trouble getting my Edge Animate file to work on my Dreamweaver jquery mobile theme web site. I was told to get the code from my animate file and put it in my dreamweaver web site. Kind of like this.....copy the Edge runtime code, paste in web site under <head>. Then copy div stage code, and paste it in my website under the content  div. I just cant seem to get it to work. It shows up blank.

    Ok, i got it. I was making this a lot harder then it needed to be. If anyone else has this problem, you just publish your project when in Adobe Edge Animate, then save in the folder you are using for your website. Then in Dreamweaver you can go to insert media, find the file and insert it. All is well.

  • Using webform code on third party mobile site

    Client has a third party mobile site (Mobdis) that does not handle forms well.  As the main site is on BC, I'd like to run the BC form code on the Mobdis pages (I understand that I could move the mobile site to BC but now is not the right time).
    So, please can anyone suggest if this is possible?  Mobdis allows me to add JS, so what are the BC files that I need to copy to get for validation, date picker etc.

  • HT201304 I want to change my parental code password

    I want to change my sons parental passcode to something different than lock screen passcode...how do i do that?

    Go to utilities > general > restrictions and enter the password.  Then click on Disable password.  Next click on Enable Password.  Enter the new restrictions password and repeat to confirm.  Make sure you write this down somewhere, because if you forget the Restrictions password, the only way to remove it is to restore the iPod to factory settings.

  • Mobile Scanning/QR codes in ATG 10.1

    Hey all,
    Does everyone know if ATG 10.1 supports Mobile Scanning/QR codes OOTB with their Mobile Ref App? Or is this something that will require significant extension/customization?
    Thanks

    Hi,
    I'm the product manager for the ATG 10.1 mobile reference applications. Need to clarify some serious misunderstandings about the product posted in this thread.
    1. The ATG mobile 10.1 solution is NOT based on the Endeca mobile solution.
    2. The ATG mobile 10.1 solution is NOT integrated with the Endeca solution.
    3. Endeca has a mobile solution that is a separate SKU on the price list (Endeca for Mobile).
    4. We are working on an integrated ATG and Endeca mobile solution but that is a future roadmap item. The integrated solution will be available at a TBD date.
    5. The ATG mobile storefronts are based on the ATG Commerce Reference Store.
    6. The ATG mobile 10.1 storefronts do NOT contain the QR code/mobile scanning feature -- that is a high-priority roadmap item.

  • If Sprint gave me an unlock code for my iPhone 5, could I use my phone for T-mobile?

    I'm buying a Sprint iPhone 5 from Craigslist. I asked the guy to call Sprint and ask if they can unlock it. They gave him an unlock code and said all I got to do is take it to any other carrier and they'll accept it. I called T-mobile and they said that I can use the phone on their network. So my question is, Am I being mislead and lied to by both Sprint and T-mobile, or is the phone actually good to go?

    There is such a code called MSL code, announced in Virgin Mobile USA site.
    http://www.virginmobileusa.com/unlock/
    Since they are a subsidiary of Sprint, I assume Sprint also gives out the MLS code to long time customers upon request.
    But they won't tell you how to unlock your phone by yourself. They say you have to ask the other carrier to do it.
    (Unfortunately to me, a major carrier in Argentina where I am staying is not willing to do it for me.)

  • Excessive connection latency... Does Adobe Air support connection pooling on mobile?

    Hello,
    I am developing a mobile app which loads thumbnail images from a remote server. During testing on the Android platform, however, I have discovered that images are very slow to load. By monitoring server logs I have determined that the poor performance is caused by the lack of connection pooling, meaning that each request builds a new connection. Running the sample code below on a mobile device produces 20 requests and 20 connection attempts. By comparison, the same web or desktop app creates 2 connections and reuses those connections for subsequent requests. The substantial overhead and latency associated with generating new connections has a substantial affect on performance, with 20 thumbnails taking approximately 4-5 seconds to load on mobile versus 0.5 - 1 second on a desktop.
    I have included a sample app below to emphasis the performance issue. The image itself is very small (290 bytes) to focus the issue on connection latency. I have confirmed this behavior on numerous Android devices, running 4.1, 4.0, and 2.3. I have also attempted using Loader v. URLLoader v. URLStream and sequential v. simultaneous loading with no change in connection behavior. Attempting to set the connection to 'keep-alive' in the URLRequest also has no affect.
    package
              import flash.display.Loader;
              import flash.display.Sprite;
              import flash.display.StageAlign;
              import flash.display.StageScaleMode;
              import flash.events.Event;
              import flash.net.URLRequest;
              import flash.utils.getTimer;
              public class Main extends Sprite
                        private var _count:int = 0;
                        public function Main()
                                  super();
                                  stage.align = StageAlign.TOP_LEFT;
                                  stage.scaleMode = StageScaleMode.NO_SCALE;
                                  trace("Start time " + getTimer() + " ms");
                                  var loader:Loader;
                                  var url:String = "http://fbcdn-profile-a.akamaihd.net/static-ak/rsrc.php/v2/yo/r/UlIqmHJn-SK.gif";  // 290 bytes
                                  for (var i:int = 0; i < 20; i++) {
                                            loader = this.addChild(new Loader()) as Loader;
                                            loader.contentLoaderInfo.addEventListener(Event.COMPLETE, complete);
                                            loader.load(new URLRequest(url));
                        private function complete(event:Event):void
                                  _count++
                                  trace("Finished " + _count + " at " + getTimer() + " ms");
    So, I have a couple questions:
    1) Is there something that I can do to enable connection reuse?
    2) Is this an inherent limitation with Adobe Air for mobile?
    3) Can someone confirm whether this limitation exists on other mobile platforms (iOS or Blackberry)?
    Any help that you can provide would be greatly appreciated. I am really hoping that this isn't a fundamental limitation of Adobe Air as it causes my app to feel very sluggish.
    Thanks,
    Adam

    Both are on release compile, which should take out all of the variability. So, yes, it looks as if the 3.4 AIR runtime has lost the connection pooling but ONLY for Android.

  • Dstv for Nokia N97

    I really do not understand why Nokia N96 has the DSTV mobile and the Nokia N97 does not have then why is it superior to the N96????? is there anyway it can be downloaded to the mobile?? Please if anyone knows kindly send me a link...... NOKIA KINDLY PUT THIS APPLICATION IN THE NEXT UPDATE SO THAT YOUR N97 USERS CAN ENJOY THIS BENEFIT....
    Solved!
    Go to Solution.

    You can download it over the net somewhere but it will not work. As I already said, the N97 does not have the antenna receiver for it. Its like turning on a TV set when there is no cable or antenna connected to it. Although you can buy a separate receiver which you can connect to your phone.
