Does Paris telco has auto spid?
Do I need a special ISDN cable for use in Paris?
Do I have the right hardware ISDN card?

If the show isdn status command indicates that Layer 1 status is deactivated, then the router is not establishing a Layer 1 connection to the telco ISDN switch.

  • Show isdn status shows deactived

Briefly, I have 2 out 6 remote sites with bri cards that continue to show deactived on the layer 1 status. Telco says the lines are good. I have tried every switch type, reconfiguring, everything I can think of.
    any suggestions?

    hi
I guess these links will be of some help to you.

would also suggest to physically check the voltage on the bri link which will also help you to isolate the exact cause for the deactivation.ideally it should be in the range of around 95V-105V..

    Hello,
As per the requirement you have mentioned, if you are done with configuring code, code groups & code group profile.
Also if you have assigned the code group profile to subject profile(check whether you assigned subject profile to the transaction type).
You have to do the following settings in Software Agent Framework(SAF) to get the Categorization activated keeping your scope of work in mind,
    1) Check if the RFC destination for TREX is working u2013 perform a Connection Test with
        Transaction code SM59
    2) Configuring the Search Engine
In this activity, we use a wizard to define the basic settings for the search engine used in the Software Agent Framework   (SAF). This is necessary for the compilation, clustering, and search functionality to work.

I hope this helps in resolving your problem and let me know if you have any issues.

  • Corporate connectivity not working for some users

    Hi,
I'm having an issue that started about a month ago but is getting worse.  A select group of users are no longer able to connect using DirectAccess, even though these users have been using their computers for a few months without issue.
    BACKGROUND:
    -Windows 2008 R2 DirectAccess server
    -Windows 7 x64 enterprise clients
-Most clients experiencing the issue have a newer laptop (Lenovo T440 with Intel 7260AC wireless), but the issue is not limited to this model. Also, I have 25+ other Lenovo T440 units that connect without issue to this day.
    TROUBLESHOOTING STEPS:
I have tried disabling the various interfaces used for directaccess on these problem machines and have not been able to narrow it down.  Essentially- I've noticed the IP-HTTPS interface shows deactivated, so I'll disable Teredo.  This
usually allows the IP-HTTPS to show activated, and connectivity is restored.  However, after 30 seconds to a few minutes, connectivity will once again drop.  So I'll re-enable teredo (default, client, or enterprise client) and connectivity will kick
on for another brief period, but drops again shortly after.
I have confirmed that during these short periods of connectivity working, the wf.msc shows connectivity using NTLM and Kerberos, but the clients just can't seem to stay connected on any interface.
However, in the wf.msc when the clients are not functioning, I only ever see one NTLM entry.

    LOGS:
Below is a directaccess client log pulled from a non-functioning client before making any changes or any testing.  Feel free to ask for the rest of the log if needed-- I have put in place holders for information that may be sensitive.  Thank you!!
RED: Corporate connectivity is not working.

  • Continued "Trial" and "License this program" issue on "new" computer...

I downloaded Adobe Acrobat XI Pro on my new computer from the Files on my old Computer. I do not have access to my old computer anymore. The 'Help' on my new computer is showing 'Deactivation' as a 'gray' option. I have a serial number (registered on the Adobe site) that when entered (Since it keeps telling me this is a trial version) tells me to contact Customer Support. On the Registration Page on Adobe it states this number is Registered to Adobe 9 (yet Adobe XI Pro was working on my old computer). I have no problem downloading Adobe 9 on my new computer...if it will work, but cannot find the files for download (and do not have my old computer...which only had Adobe Acrobat XI Pro). Suggestions? Just want my Adobe Acrobat Pro to work again...Thanks in advance for any assistance...

uninstall acrobat xi and clean, Download Adobe Reader and Acrobat Cleaner Tool - Adobe Labs
then reinstall the version of acrobat for which you have a serial number.

  • X-Fi Elite Pro - Recording from the Phono Input Prob

    Kit:?
    Vista x64
    4GB Ram
    Q6600
    X38 Mobo
    X-Fi Elite Pro
Audio is taken via?Digital Output (not the optical one) from the External box to a Sony Cinema Amp.
Have installed using the Vista X-Fi CD and updated to the July 2008 drivers.
    Problem:
Unable to record from the Phono input on the external breakout box, in fact only the Line-In on the actual card seems to work, but when recording via the Creative Entertainment Console the recording has what sounds like reverb applied to it. Recording via Vista's Sound Recorder produces a clean sound but is in WMA and very low quality.
    Other Obvious Problems:
Have to manually select the Input port via Vista's Sounds Panel, by setting the required input as 'default device'.
Headphone socket on the external box doesn't anything coming out of it.
    Question:?
Has anyone sucessfully recorded via the Phono input on an Elite Pro under Vista x64, and if so how
    Thanks.
Message Edited by 0idsjagf on 08-07-2008 2:56 PM

Huhu, right-click onto the window where all devices like microphone or speaker output are listet (record, playback) (Controlpanel " sound") Then you have the option to enable "show deactivated devices" maybe then the phono input is available to your needs.

  • Workflow  Issue for transaction  IMA11

    HI All,
I am replacing standard WF copying standard one, and decativated standard one and so that new workflow should only be triggered.
Issue is, In SPRO goto below path:
    -Invetset management-Appropriation Requests-Approval-Activate Event-Linkage for Workflow Task
There is a setting which shows  standard workflow and actiavte button which make sure that if this is activated. then only workflow approval process should be run and in transaction IMa11 approval button shld be greyed out.
But in my case I am not able to config my new WF No. there and as i had decatiavted older workflow so In SPRO its showing deactivated status and making approval button active and because of that approval  button is becaming active and now user able to approve request from IMA11 and beside this, workflow is also running for approval process.
so process would at a  time either workflow shld approve or tarsnsaction.
Now I want to know how i will config new workflow number in SPRO by replacing older WF No.

    Hi Sandeep,
We have  a transaction SWETYPV to see and chaneg Work flow linkages.
    Please try out there.
    Hope this helps.

  • Updation of Status

    Hello Experts,
Facing problem in updating the statuses at equipment level.
Users are deactivating the equipments with INAC - Object deactivate status and if we take examples of other equipments they only have 2 statuses (AVLB & INST) but when we are putting the INAC status and saving we have 3 statuses (INAC, AVLB & INST)
Now client have one Z transaction where they are creating order directly by selecting equipment number.
Here if we again Activate the equipment status its showing the status as INST but at SE16 for JEST table there it is showing deactivated indicator for I0320 (INAC) status.Because of some program logic at Z transaction system is throwing error as it is taking INAC status from logic.
Could you help me in solving this as this is all standard functionality of SAP.
    Regards,
    Rip

    Hi,
When you activate a status (such as INAC) a record is created in JEST. In this case a record with I0320 value. When you now remove this status on the equipment the JEST record is updated but not removed. The update consists of setting the JEST-INACT flag. So if this flag is set with value X, that status is not active.
Your Z-transaction needs to check the JEST-INACT flag, If set then ignore this JEST record as it is not active.

  • Document ID - Property field shows on item view property page after deactivating the Document ID Service features at Site Collection level

    Hi,
When a site collection was created, I enabled the Document ID feature at site collection level.  Then some item was created in a document library as well as list libarary
Now it was decided that we dont want the Document ID feature so I disable the feature from Collection feature list
Still when a user view the property of a document it shows the Document ID property with the ID (when click on the ID it shows the message that
This Site Collection is not configured to use Document IDs.
    Troubleshoot
    issues with Microsoft SharePoint Foundation.
Correlation ID: 9640ac9f-4b9c-4ae8-9f0b-402ed7e3b3c5)     Is there anything that I should do so that DOcument ID property does not show on the document property page... I tried
to looked at the content type to see if I can remove the document ID but I could not find the Document ID as a property that can be removed from the type

    Hi,
I would just remove the column from the view.  You can make views for each list, it you look under the list by Clicking List while the list is open, you should see a link in the ribbon which say "Modify view" click this link.
This link will open the edit view page you can then uncheck the box for the column which will remove it form that view.
    According to this
    http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ee559302.aspx
Deactivating the feature removes links to the Site Collection Settings page, makes the page that is used to look up document IDs no longer available, turns off the document ID service, and stops assigning document IDs. The server does not remove the columns
that it adds at the site level when the feature is first activated so that, even after deactivation, the existing document IDs are preserved. After the feature is deactivated, users who try to use a static URL to look up an item by its document ID see an error
message indicating that "This Site Collection is not configured to use document IDs."
The Document id service will add new columns to the document content type and the document set content type.
It also adds an event receiver which should be deactivated when you deactivate the doc id service.
Theoretically.  You should be able to go in and remove the columns from the document type, and then force an update.
    Thanks,

  • After deactivation asset still shows value in AR03 cumulative value

    Dear All
After deactivation of an asset , it  still shows value in AR03 cumulative acq value column. can somebody guide us
where my client is lacking as we deactivated the asset on 14.05.2008 in AS02 and transfer the asset value thrru ABUMN
but still the same asset is showing the value on 31.03.2009 .
    Thanks in advance
    VG

    Dear Srinu
Does Deactivation  really need manually entry of writing date in AS02 or date generates automatically thru ABUMN.
As i have already transfered value thru ABUMN and created one new asset against it.
The new asset is working properly but my deactivated my asset is quite trouble some. If I tick the box in Depreciation area
which is for deactivation, will all assets under that class will  be deactivated ?
I just had same ABUMN procedure and my asset got deactivated.
I had one asset which is deactivated in 2008 mid, In 2008 AR03 shows 0 value but 2009 it shows its cumulative value.
In tag line my asset should not show the value after it's deactivation in AR03.
Please have some inputs on this.
    Regards,
    VG.

Since you disputed the charges with your credit card company, the CC company reversed the charges and Apple (correctly) locked the AppleID.
You will need to contact Apple -> http://www.apple.com/support/appleid/contact/
    and explain what happened.

  • PRI Showing Layer 1 DEACTIVATED

    Hi All,
I have an office where the D channel on one of the PRI's is down and when I run the show ISDN Status I get the following output:
    ISDN Serial0/1/0:23 interface
            dsl 2, interface ISDN Switchtype = primary-ni

        Number of L2 Discards = 4, L2 Session ID = 110
Total Allocated ISDN CCBs = 0
I have a ticket open with the carrier who keeps telling me they can loop up to the smart jack, and that the patterns they are running are all coming back clean but layer 1 is down.
Am I correct that this has to be a physical issue?  No layer one connectivity means I am dead in the water until someone goes to the MPOE at the site and checks the circuit out, right?
Just looking for a sanity check here.
    Thank you.
    Rgds,
    Vicky

    Hi Vicky,
Please share your router pri configurations that you have done. As well make an e1 loopback rj45 connector for testing pri router port. For creating PRI loopback view the below given link.

  • BRI problems / layer 1 deactivated

    Hi there
I could really use some help for this issue. I need to implement a BRI line for voice as backup for a SIP line.
However I cannot make layer 1 come up as active. I know for sure the line is working as attaching a phone to the ISDN2 line makes me able to receive and make calls. So the line is ok from teleprovider side. Must be cable issue, makes a cable according to Cisco doc. "When the ISDN BRI port on the router is configured as an NT port, you must use a "rolled" cable (one with the transmit and receive leads swapped) to connect to a TE interface." But this does not help me still same outcome.
    Any help is much appriciated.

I had this problem a few months ago and it took several days of investigation and research to figure it out but I got there in the end.  Hopefully this will save someone else a lot of frustration!
In short it was mainly sorted by adding the bearer-cap Speech command to my extra voice-ports.
This command specifies whether the 'call' will initialize for voice or data during the setup and can cause the line to drop/disconnect if it is set incorrectly.
    FULL DETAILS
My client was using a UC540W-BRI-K9 with 2 phone lines coming in over a single ISDN device connected to a voice-port.  They had purchased a plug-in 2-port voice-board to allow them to utilize another 4 phone lines via an extra 2 ISDN devices, however the company who installed this had failed to configure the system properly so even after I activated the extra lines they would always fail to dial-out as above.
The first step was to tell the plug-in voice-board to use the network-clock and set the ISDN-connected BRIs to use the network-clock:
    network-clock-participate wic 1
    network-clock-participate wic 2
    network-clock-select 1 BRI0/1/0
    network-clock-select 2 BRI0/1/1
    network-clock-select 3 BRI0/2/0
I spent time investigating the BRI configuration, adding a few bits which I think helped activate the lines, although I still had the outgoing call failures on the new lines:
    interface BRI0/1/0
     no ip address
isdn switch-type basic-net3          <--- Copied this command to the other BRIs
isdn tei-negotiation first-call   <--- Added this to all the BRIs
     isdn point-to-point-setup
     isdn incoming-voice voice
     isdn sending-complete
isdn static-tei 0                          <--- Added this to all the BRIs
trunk-group ALL_BRI 64                <--- Copied this command to the other BRIs
I then found the voice-ports had a separate configuration independent of the BRIs and the newly connected voice-ports required a couple of commands to be copied from the original, working voice-port.  The problem was fixed once I applied the bearer-cap Speech command to the extra voice-ports, along with compand-type a-law (for a European system).
voice-port 0/1/0          <--- The original voice-port connected to the primary ISDN
     compand-type a-law        <--- Copied to the newly-connected voice-ports
     bearer-cap Speech         <--- Copied to the newly-connected voice-ports
    voice-port 0/1/1            <--- Connected to 2nd ISDN
     compand-type a-law
     bearer-cap Speech
    voice-port 0/2/0            <--- Connected to 3rd ISDN
     compand-type a-law
     bearer-cap Speech
    voice-port 0/2/1            <--- Unused
The compand-type command is used to convert signals from analog to digital and is normally compand-type u-law for North America systems and compand-type a-law for European systems, as explained here:
