Parking MIRO Document Without Vendor Information
Hi,
I am trying to park a miro document without the vendor information and only with the header information like date, posting and amount, however the system is not allowing me to do so. Its showing an error message M8696 - Enter invoicing party. I tried to change this error message from E to W in OMRM t.code but it looks like this message has been hard coded to an error message in the MIRO program so changing it from E to W in OMRM does not help here.
How can i park this document in this case without vendor information?

Invoice date
Posting date
Amount
Tax amount
This is the requirement from the user. Technically speaking since this is just a parking why can't the system allow parking?

Hope you are facing problem in MIRO document (not MIGO)
If so, the line item 001 of the MIRO document will normally be a vendor line item, where the system is asking you to enter profit center. So the logic of derving the profit center from material master/cost center does not work here.
But the message seems to be customized one, hence you can check in the validation rule or any BTE and modify the condition, so that it does not ask for Profit center in vendor line item.

Batch Posting of Parked MIRO Documents
How can we do the batch posting of the parked MIRO Documnets. We canot dot it using Tcode fbv0
Can you tell me how not to have the translation date updated when a parked document is finally posted. To clarify this, using MIRO and parking a document, then at another day posting the parked document. The field bkpf-wwert loses that first park date value, it gets overridden with the day the document was finally posted. This use to retain the park date when we were in 4.5b, since upgrading to 6.4, we seem to have this issue. Any help is appreciated. Regards, Theresa

HELLO EXPERTS,
What is the difference between holding a invoice document (MIRO) and parking a document (MIR7).
I hope each having same function.
Again I want to see a report which will show me hold invoice document
Again what is the difference between parked and parked as complete.(MIR5)

You can refer to the help screen int the respective MIR7 scree to know definition of each function.
Holding Invoice Documents
If you are interrupted while entering or parking an invoice, you can hold the data you have already entered, such as the list field selections, header data, and item data. The system creates an invoice document but does not make any checks, updates, or postings. When you continue processing the held document later, the system proposes the data already entered.
Parking Invoice Documents
You create an invoice document in document parking. Choose the disk icon Save parked document to do this. Before saving the data, the system performs consistency checks.Subsequently, you can still change, delete, or post parked documents, or save them as complete.
Use document parking if:
1. Information required for posting the invoice document is missing in the invoice document and you do not want to have to enter again the data already entered
2. The balance is not zero
3. The following updates are to take place:
Log of document changes
Informative purchase order history
Data for advance tax returns
Index for checking for duplicate invoices
Vendor open items
Vendor open items for parked documents
Saving Invoice Documents as Complete
You create an invoice document in document parking. Choose Save as complete to do this. Before saving the data, the system performs consistency checks. In the event of errors, the data is not saved, but is presented for correction instead. Subsequently, you can still change, delete, or post Documents complete for posting.
Use Save as complete if:
1. No more changes are to be made to the invoice document
2. The balance is zero
3. The invoice document is to be parked for posting but not posted yet

My user while posting the MIRO document TDS (service tax ) amount not appering in the MIRO screen
But last month it was working fine.
before that i have checked out vendor master in that they given tax code properly.

Solution is
An message has been occuring like withhold tax has been refreshed. it is just an information message not an error message. this message will trigger when the trans. type is non project type activity. No back end process has been disturbed due to this message. it just passing the information to the user.
we changed the trans. type to manufacturing activity and it is working fine.

Park the document with special GL posting
Dear Friends,
I want to park the document with special GL posting in Xn code F-43. But I
am getting the error message that:-
Special G/L transactions not defined for bills/exch.and down pmnts
Message no. FP030
Diagnosis
You have selected a posting key with a special G/L indicator of type 'Bill
of exchange', or 'Down payment'. Document parking is not defined for special
G/L transactions of the type 'Bill of exchange' or 'Down payment'.
System Response
Document parking cannot be carried out.
Procedure
Select a different posting key or special G/L indicator. If the posting is a
'One-time posting' to a rent contract, select a different transaction type
or post the document directly.
In FBKP, for this special GL in Properties, I have selected the option Down
Payment/Down Payment Request.
Any clue, how can we park the document with special GL without changing this
property of special GL as mentioned above.Dear Abhishek,
I see your situation now clearly. See we also have this type of requirement. You have made a down payment of say 100 and vendor is adjusting 10% of this down payment in its one invoice. You can have this sets of entries:
1) Vendor Down Payment - TCode F-48 or (F-47 and F110)
Vendor Account Dr Posting Key 29 Spl GL A - US$ 100
Bank Cr Posting Key 50 - US$ 100
2) Post Vendor Invoice FB60 or FV60
Expense Acct Dr Posting Key 40 - US$ 1000

So finally in your vendor account you will have 990 US$ to pay against invoice and 90 US$ as balance down payment to adjust.

If you test this out directly in the Suppliers window in Oracle Payables:
Navigation: Suppliers-Entry
Queried up a Supplier, then clicked into the Site field under the Contact tab.
Entered the contact information and omitted the Last Name, when trying to save the record,
the system gives the following message:
*'FRM-40202: Field must be entered' and the cursor is on the Last Name field. This is a required*
field and is the intended functionality.

Posting the MIRO Document with reference of PO
Hello friends
while user posting the MIRO Document with reference of PO , he is getting difference in balance
Total amount is 31,237.00
Posting amount is 28,320.05
Balance amount is 2,916.95 this balance amount not getting post in MIRO
Before that i have seen GR amount is 28,320.05 but In IR amount same 28,320.05 but withholding tax tab not appering withholding tax amount
Can any body please help me on the same

Thanks For all my problem was resloved
Solution is
An message has been occuring like withhold tax has been refreshed. it is just an information message not an error message. this message will trigger when the trans. type is non project type activity. No back end process has been disturbed due to this message. it just passing the information to the user.
we changed the trans. type to manufacturing activity and it is working fine.

Acquisition with vendor and without vendor
Dear All,
This is my first time using FA in SAP Business One.
I have a lot of question about FA in SAP B1 especially in FA Acquisition.
There are two kinds of acquisition. With vendor and without vendor.
If we choose the aquisition with vendor, we must enter the vendor and the JE will be created like this
Debit Credit
V01 1500 USD
Asset Computer 1500USD
It seems the the JE create like AP invoice, so we can continue the out going payment for the vendor.
But the problem is in Acquisition without vendor.
I have a scenario.
I buy a car. I create PO > GRPO> AP invoice--> Out going Payment.
After that if i run the acquisition without vendor.
The JE will be created like this
Debit Credit
Clearing Acc. Asset Acquisition 1500Usd
Asset Car 1500 USD
( Please correct me if my Journal is wrong )
From this Journal Posting, i find some thing odd.
When i buy a car and i created the GRPO.
The JE will create the Asset car position in Debit.
After that i create the Acquisition without vendor. The Journal also posting the Asset Car account in Debit. So the Asset Car account balance become 3000 USD.
So what must i do to avoid this problem.
I check the document FA. It is said that before create the Acquisition without vendor, the AP invoice must already be created.
In the documentation, they create the AP invoice in service type. Is it a must to create the AP invoice like this ?
Please tell me what should i do if create the Acquisition without vendor.
Any suggest or solution would be great.

KKFixed Assets are created in the add on, not the item master.
Your choice is that
1. all fixed asset puchases go through a clearing account and a different team is responsible for creating the assets & performing the acquisition, (1 step for one team, two for another) or
2 that the person acquiring the asset creates the master data item in fixed assets, then the acquisition with vendor (one two step process)
Depends on the size of the organisation and the roles & responsibilities within the organisation -
Report on Deleted Parked AR Documents with 'Z' status
Hello Experts,
Any suggestion to obtain the list of deleted parked AR documents which did not get posted in the past. We created AR documents and were not sure about VAT treatment and were parked but later managed to invoice the customer separately. Subsequent to this, we have deleted the parked AR document and I know when these parked document gets deleted, document numbers are marked by a letter 'Z' and you can get a report BY DOCUMENT NUMBER. Is there any standard SAP report that can be run BY CUSTOMER to see all deleted parked documents for that customer only.
Appreciate valuable suggestions to achieve the above.

use S_ALR_87012293 - Display of Changed Documents to check the deleted parked docuements or any status regarding parked document.
Here if you select park doc radio button and give input document type and posting key, then you will get the customer/vendor/GL related docuements . Take that dump and put in the table and give input of your customer code.it will shows those documents if any.

MIRO document no. not generated showing error.
Hi
A document which was a cross company code transaction has been reversed through MIRO. now when we are going to do miro on same PO, system is showing new document no. and transaction is terminated in between and showing the message " document no. already exists.
if any body have some idea of this problem.

ShivIf you have reversed the MIRO document using MR8M,
When you trying to do invoice please do it with reference to the PO no not Invoice document no(MIR7 generated no).
If you are doing MIR7 the a new parked document no to be created and u can use invoice document no and post miro.
Better post with ref to the PO No.
