Parrot CK3200 LS

Just wanted to report my results with Parrot CK3200LS hands free car kit.
Excellent in all categories!
It took a couple of hours to install. No major issues when installing to my Bose system in my Cheverolet truck.
Once installed I was able to pair with my iPhone immediately. I was able to dial from my phone and talk hands free. Everything worked great.
My contact list was uploaded so fast I had not even noticed it. The manual is a little vague, but the on screen displays are easy to use. In less than 10 minutes I was able to set up the voice dial on the unit. It worked great. I can now enjoy having all my contacts from my iPhone at my fingertips or should I say voice box while driving.
I have not uploaded pictures yet but I see no reason why i will not work.
I highly suggest to anyone wanting a hands free car kit to use with their iPhone get the Parrot CK3200 LS.

Texana - You posted this 6 weeks ago -- do you have the latest iPhone software? On the Parrot site, there are reports about the phone locking up and/or losing connection. What is your experience with the latest software?
Thanks!

  • IPhone 3G with Parrot CK3000 Evolution

I ordered a Parrot CK3000 for my Saab the other day. It should be here Monday so I can install it. I have read though that I cannot sync my iPhone's contacts to it to be able to use the voice dialing and stuff. It's not the end of the world, I don't mind selecting a contact from the phone, I'm just wondering if it's something that Parrot and Apple might support in the future. I know Parrot just came out with some iPhone/iPod-specific devices, but they are out of my price range. Thanks in advance for any help!

    Hello,
Such an option is not available on the iPhone. Whether it will become available in the near future is not known. The fact is, that enabling iPhone to properly connect to other deviced via bluetooth is feasible, although it would take some rewrighting of iPhone's bluetooth support in general. That's the main reason I have recently put up [this|http://pleasefixtheiphone.com/problems/view/6330> ticket in an iPhone site.

  • Cannot connect iphone 5 to Parrot, battery is terrible and volumes are low? Anyone else got the same issues?

so these seem to be my issues with the phone so far. no matter what i try with my Parrot handsfree the phone will not connect. The general volumes of the phone seem lower than the iphone4, especially when using the new earphones. And i cant say im that impressed with the battery life. Today i made 2 phone calls, updated a facebook status and listened to one album on spotify, this resulting in a pretty much dead battery? doesnt seem right to me considering apple advertised the battery life being able to handle many hours of youtube streaming over 3G?

Ok, this is good info. It means that right now Apache is not able to serve content outside of your machine. That's why even the native browser can't see your site. Once we get that problem solved you should be able to see the site in Edge Inspect as well.
    Here's some things to try:
This might be because your firewall is blocking port 8888. Try turning off your firewall temporarily and see if http://192.168.2.4:8888/yogaFest2013/  works from the native browser on your device
Open a terminal window and type in the following: netstat -an | grep "LISTEN" and let me know what it says
Open your httpd.conf file and look for a section like this:
    # Listen: Allows you to bind Apache to specific IP addresses and/or
    # ports, instead of the default. See also the <VirtualHost>
    # directive.
    # Change this to Listen on specific IP addresses as shown below to
    # prevent Apache from glomming onto all bound IP addresses.
    Listen 80
Let me know what your's looks like.

  • N73 and parrot ls3200

I have a problem with my n73 and my parrot ls3200. I had another phone some time ago and it was fine with the bluetooth device, but when i connect my nokia on the parrot's display i cant load the phonebook. I can speak or dial but only by numbers i cant use my names at all. If someone know how to fix it help me pls.

    Hi
Thank you Parrotboy, I can not see that the Parrot is at fault because I have done a couple of tests.
1)My phone has the same problem with a Parrot in a other car
2)My Parrot works fine paired up with someone else phone.
So it's got to be in the phone somewhere.
It's been so good for a while, can these problem just happen and if so why?

  • 6120c Bluetooth problem with parrot ck 3100

    Hello,
I am having serious problems with the connection of my Nokia 6120 with my parrot ck 3100. During a call it will kill the microfone and no one can hear me. I am still hearing other talk.
After hanging up and calling again sometimes it is fixed and sometimes it is not.
Also the phone seams to lose the connections every once a while.
Anyone out there with the same problems or a solution for this.
    Nokia firmware 3.83 / 19-6-07 /rm-243

I have just bought a N78 and i have been experiencing the same issue.
Any idea what might be the cause?

  • My iPad controlled Parrot quadricopter has been taken with the wind in a westerly flurry, is there tracking chips and markings to recover this instrument?

My quadricopter ,a Parrot A.R.Drone2.0 ,was taken by the wind yesterday early evening. My question on this is does the Parrot come electronically tagged for recovery if found?

I would check with Parrot. This is nothing to do with iPads.

  • Air Play - Air Server - Air Parrot

Windows 8.1 Tablet with Air Parrot installed.  Windows 7 Enterprise Desktop unit with Air Server installed.
Air Parrot will not connect via the tablet to the Desktop Air Server.
Ipads all work great.  So we are wondering if there is a setting in Windows 8.1 that will allow the Air Parrot or Air Play to play with Air Server on Windows 7.
    Thank you.

Air Parrot is compatible with Windows 7 and Windows 8.
This is what I am finding here for Windows 8.1.

  • N85 & Parrot bluetooth oddities

    Hi everyone,
I've recently tried using my N85 with my Parrot 3200LS car kit and found a few issues that I'm wondering if there's a fix for.
In short, the Parrot is not A2DP compatible....it's for calls only, but the phone tries piping everything through it.....the tone for text messages, alert tones, the ring tone, the voice guidance from Route66 and even music from the music player, albeit in pitiful and tinny mono quality.
My Samsung Omnia HD on S60 5th never did this - it only tried putting call audio through the Parrot and nothing else, with all other audio coming through the phone itself so you'd think the N85 on S60 3rd would behave the same.
On the display of the phone it only shows the little car symbol and not the headphone symbol too so you'd think the phone would know to to try outputting all audio through the bluetooth but it would appear not.
For the record I'm on FW 31.002.
    Thanks in advance,
    Chris.

    Did have White N97and N95-1

Just to add my wifes N95-1 behaves in the same way (apart from the fact you can't use contacts on that phone).
Seems to be a common issue with the Nokia bluetooth stack as the Samsung never had this problem.

have My E71 connected to a Parrot CK3100 car kit - the parrot uses the default profile selected for Headset - but I also have a powered cradle - is there a way that I can add to the settings inthat profile (ie switch off autoamtic keypad lock, and disable screen saver ) or alternatiely force the E71 ro recognise when it is connected to the cradle ? Thanks

    Hi davemo
I am sure that you have looked at page 126 in User Guide available here:
    http://europe.nokia.com/get-support-and-software/product-support/nokia-e71/guides
If you go to Menu > Tools > Settings > General > Enhancement - do you have any choice to alter profile?

I tried to download that program from Nokia, and it worked on my E51! Note that you have to *disconnect* the bluetooth connection between the devices before starting the program, and then connect!
I hope that will work for you with your parrot carkit too!
    Thx for your link.
It's true, you can find at http://europe.nokia.com/A4143881 a soft called Nokia 810 Contact Download Application for Nokia S60 3rd edition devices that, after installing on the E51, the car kit will sync the contacts (only the contacts !!!) with the phone. I checked and it works with my parrot 3100 and my E51.
At this link you can find also the soft for all the S60 editions (1.2 and 2nd edition).
Please note that, after installing the software on the E51, you need to run it. The soft will ask you if it will automatically start when the phone will start => yes !
Still, a problem is unsolved, why it does not sync the missed/received/dialled calls with my parrot car kit?

  • Model 8830 v4.5 Bluetooth doesn't work with mobile handsfree Parrot systems

Just updated my 8830 to new software and love the upgrade but my Parrot 3200's installed in all my cars are now not working properly.  When the Blackberry tries to pair-up the Parrot shows a call in progress and disengages the radio.  I have to call a number and hang up to get the radio to play again but the "call in progress" screen does not go away.  I can make calls and receive calls, sometimes having to call a number and then hang-up to clear the Parrot to receive a call.  I have tried re-pairing the phone to each Parrot unit in the cars but that did not help. Any ideas.....I don't want to go back to the older version of software, but in WA I have to use the hands free system to make calls in the car.

  • Bluetooth Handfree kit Parrot does'nt work!!!

Hello everyone, I'm really ****** ... just bought iPhone4 OS
    4.1.
Before I had 2G, and 3G, then 3G. I state that is not my
particular interest to share files via bluetooth or another, but the only
essential thing that made the previous iPhone was connected
perfectly to any accessory. NOW NO MORE '!
I installed a car kit Parrot CK3100. He always
worked perfectly before, even with the latest update
of 3GS os 4,0,1, was even ringing the alarm set
iPhone, you can always read the phonebook, call list etc..
Now, I try to connect the iPhone to the device 4, but sees no
can in no way to connect, returning the message
"Match failed." I tried in every way, even trying
from the unit but nothing to match it.
Can anyone tell me why these things happen and if there is a way to
    solve? Thanks.

Yes, it is "Authorised". When Ovi Maps is in use and the Bluetooth connection is lost(you leave the car and take the phone with you, GPS stays in the car) you get the information "No GPS connection" from the Ovi Maps applications voice guidance. Then when you come back, the connection to the GPS is not made automaticly. You just get a popup on the phone where you can choose different bluetooth devices, including the external GPS. This should not happen, the connection should be made automaticly and then jus just continue navigation.
If you choose the GPS from the popupwindow, it works but you get again the popup and it asks you for the device(at this moment you altready have the connection, but it still asks for it). You can again choose the GPS, but again the same popup will be shown..... if you choose cancel, you got no connection and the only thing to get it, is to close the program and start it again.

  • Can't Upgrade to Parrot Pro because it's already purchased

Hi there. I bought the pro version of Parrot Voice Recorder a while ago (last year maybe?) when I had my Z10. I've upgraded to a passport and all my apps installed fine (including iGrann Pro). However, Parrot is only the free version. I used the in-app upgrade option which takes me to the purchase interface. The purchase interface then says I don't need to re-purchase it because I've already paid for the pro version. However, I don't download a new version, and there is no way to upgrade with a serial number (not that I ever gone one) in-app. It's an excellent app and I use it constantly (I'm a journalist).
I've had no response from the developer(s), so now I'm left to ask here if there's a work-around. Should I just ask for a refund (I don't think I even have the receipt anymore) so I can "re-purchase it?"
SO. Frustrating. And I don't know if it's a BB World problem, or a developer issue.
    Help?!

Hi there. For starters, the developer contacted me and said that Parrot needs to be open for a few minutes and then it will contact the server and check for registration on the device. If it's a paid account, the software will switch itself to the first version. So problem solved (basically, the problme was I was impatient...my bad).
Secondly, transcribing text is, in journalism, always a manual process. We have to transcribe ourselves for written stories. You could try using Dragonsoft Naturally Speaking or something like that. Here are some solutions...some work better than others.
    https://transcribe.wreally.com/
    http://www.nuance.com/dragon/transcription-solutions/index.htm
Hopefully one of those works. Naturally, the better the recording (and the more clear and deliberate the speaker), the better the results.

  • N8 is compatible with parrot 9100?????????

is compatible with parrot 9100? n8

    Hello,
In my car Ive Parrot Mki9200 as carkit.
As I am expecting my new Nokia N8 Ive looked at the Parrot site for compatibility with N8.
There is stated that no synchronization of contacts or music streaming is possible.
I have asked Parrot when Nokia N8 will by fully compatible.
    Their statement:
    Hello,
The compatibility with the N8 cannot be improved as the mobile doesn’t support profiles for automatic synchronization along with listening to music via Bluetooth. Therefore Parrot will not be able to improve the compatibility of this mobile with the Mki car kit.
I think Nokia should solve this quickly!
