Parsing Query Ending in an white Page
Hi,
when i try to edit my report region (Oracle XE , Apex 3.1) i´m ending on a white page
(URL .. 8080/apex/wwv_flow.accept)
I tried to delete the region and add a new one, but same happens. I reboot the db, no luck.
The Query is just simple:
SELECT b.*,o.ort,s.strasse
FROM
telefon.brd b, telefon.brd_ort o, telefon.brd_strasse s
where b.o_id=o.o_id and b.s_id=s.s_id
and 1=2
Any Ideas ?

Maybe by increasing the log level you get more information what goes wrong.
When you remove the b.* does it work? BTW, 1=2 doesn't make much sense :-)

I'm a fan of Java code, I really am.
But when you use ADF, you decided to move to a more declarative environment.
So why not do it declarative, the adf way?
In your pagedef insert a action binding.
This can be anything, a call to the application module, a call on the iterator(Like executeWithparams, etc.)
Create an invokeAction in your pagedef and set the condition.
This example refreshes(Action 2 is execute query) the data.
First the method binding:
<action IterBinding="PersoonIterator" id="Execute" InstanceName="LSAppModuleDataControl.Persoon"
DataControl="LSAppModuleDataControl" RequiresUpdateModel="true" Action="2"/>And the invoke action
<invokeAction Binds="Execute" id="refreshData"/>This always refreshes the data on page entry, but anything is possible, you can set condictions for the invokeAction.

PS Yes I know that pagedefs become backing beans in the end and yes that is Java code, but if you wanna play the ADF way, the goal is the reduction of Java code and the increased performance of declarative programming. -
Utilizing APEX 4.2 mobile picture upload issue, undefined white page.
1 Use your phone (I have iphone)
2 go to http://apex.oracle.com/pls/apex/f?p=64562 in your browser demo/demo4u
3 type a number in for the id (PK)
4 click load image
5 take picture
6 choose use
7 wait for load to server
8 click create
9 after create, click download
10 results in a blank white page with the word undefined.
If you remove the reference on the end of the url you can get the picture to show. This does not go over very well with customers.I made the change and the problem still exist. Give it a go.
The odd part is that after you get undefined, if you do a refresh of the page the picture shows up and you get stuck in a strange state of hitting the back button that eventually lands you back on a application page.
Nice, but not something I could move to production.

I am using an apple ipad 2, have always used facebook on it since I purchased it. now, tryig to open facebook, I receive only a white blank page. the only thing is that at the very top, it shows ' ipad with wifi running middle -- time and at the right end.. the battery amount. then my my white page. I am not understanding?
Quit the Facebook app then reset the iPad.
Double click the Home button to show the screen with running and recently used apps. Each app icon will have a sample page above it. Flick up on the page (not the app icon) and the page will fly away and the app icon will disappear. This quits that app. Then reset your device. Press and hold the Home and Sleep buttons simultaneously until the Apple logo appears. Let go of the buttons and let the device restart. See if that fixes your problem. -

Turns out to be an iPhone 4 problem. I went to a store and they replaced it. No problems now. My wife's iPhone 4 also had to be replaced which is disturbing. We had the original iPhone, iPhone 3G and iPhone 3GS without issue. This iPhone is not that good. It was emphasized to me the other day when I used a Razor in my house and found the voice quality infinitely superior and worked in places where my iPhone 4 failed completely (all on AT&T).
People on the other end of calls with the Razor commented that my voice sounded much better and asked what had I done (they were used to the calls made with the iPhone).
I am afraid I think that the iPhone 4 is not all it is cracked up to be. For phone use the Razor beats it hands down. Now, when it comes to email etc. the iPhone is infinitely superior but as a phone it is certainly not as good as it could be.
I am afraid that Apple may have lost the magic recipe and, if I had not gone past the return date, the iPhone 4 would be going back. -
I couldn't find people with this issue, so I figured I'd post and see if anyone else has any insight. When I try to load certain pages on my iPhone (3GS) it loads correctly, but right at the end of loading it just suddenly goes to an all white page. The title at the top is correct but I can see nothing. So far this only seems to happen with pages containing a pdf, but it just started doing it today.
Try resetting your iPhone by pressing the home and sleep buttons until you see the Apple logo, ignoring the slider. Takes about 5-15 secs of button holding and you won't lose any data or settings.
Try Settings > Safari > Clear History, Cookies, Cache -
My blog will not load--it gives me a blank white page.
If I type in my blog's URL I can see it fine. But if I try to login or search on it or go into the archives, it gives me a blank white page. Not an error code. Just a white page. I can see my favicon in the address bar.
I've tried it on FF and Safari. Same thing happens. I've tried it on other computers and the same thing happens.
I have asked my host to look into it, they don't know what to do. I asked my ISP about it and they said it's probably browser issues.
I looked thru all the help forums and altho' some people have this same problem not one of them had it resolved.

aIn your WordPress administrative panel, try deactivating the WP Super Cache plugin to bypass any problems with cached pages. Similarly, scrutinize your other plugins to see whether any of them are not absolutely necessary, in case there is a conflict.
Then clear your Firefox browser cache and try again.
Firefox > Preferences > Advanced > Network > "Clear Now"
Any difference?
Edit: Oh... if you cannot log in, then it's hard to administer plugins, isn't it. You might need a WordPress doctor to explain how to make changes using an FTP client or your web host's file manager. -
k when i double click on the fire fox short cut on my desk top or the tab under the start button, my firefox gives me a blank white screen with the phase " new tab" on the top left hand corner as if u clicked for another window. Even though its the 1st window that opens. when i type a website in the search bar it regristers but it just goes to the blank white screen w the new tab phase. i tried to open some of my bookmark sites and still the same thing.. a blank all white page. ive tried re-download the fire fox 6.0 then i deleted my current firefix then re-downloaded it again.. still nothing :(. im currently usaing my interner explore to write this and search the net.

Unable to parse query when using dblink in forms 4.5
Hi,
I have created a query that uses a DBlink because I need to do query on a table located on another dbase. I've used the query on creating my report using Reports 6i. The report needs to be called from a menu on our system, which was developed under Developer 2000 (forms 4.5). The problem is, when I tried to access the report from the menu, it returns the error 'unable to parse query'. What I did after getting error was to create a dummy module using Forms 6i, and call my report from there. It worked fine.
By the way, the table that I'm accessing using the dblink is under Oracle 9i dbase, and the dbase of the system that I've been working at is Oracle 8i.
I don't have any idea on what's causing this error. Is there a compatibility issue when using a dblink located in Oracle 9i database with forms 4.5?

Not sure if it is the good answer, but I know that Forms does not recognize dblink and owner.object syntax. You have to create a simple synomym that point to the distant object and use this synonym within Forms.

"My Yahoo" page loads up as a blank white page, with no error messages or anything. Any ideas why?
I started a thread on this topic many months ago, and have yet to see any reply for support for this topic. The issue I have had now for over 6 months is that Firefox will not load my "My Yahoo" page at all. I get no error messages or anything, just a blank, white screen when I try to load it. I can load this same page in IE as well as Chrome, but I much prefer to use Firefox if I can. I did follow all of the instructions and ideas that are out on the forum for handling similar problems such as this, but with no success. Clear Cache, History, etc, as well as disabling Add-Ons, restarting, etc, as well as setting proxy settings to No Proxy, etc, etc. Does anyone have ideas ideas as to why Firefox is no longer able to load "My Yahoo" page, but I am able to load things like my Yahoo Mail page successfully? Thank you in advance for any ideas anyone has on this.
Firstly, a heartfelt "Thank You" for the prompt reply. I have gone through the steps you outlined above in the past, with no success, but I did them again just to be certain. One other thing that took place since posted this a few days ago, is that I "Updated Firefox, to 9.0.1 and after I did that, then Firefox would not even load at all. I kept getting a Firefox has crashed pop up, etc. So I figured before I could go through the steps you outlined above, I needed to "Uninstall and Reinstall" Firefox once again. I did this, and loaded the Yahoo Optimized version since apparently the generic version of Firefox, 9.0.1 must have some bugs that did not allow it to load up on my computer. After reloaded Firefox, I proceeded to go through the steps you have outlined above, and as typical, I still have the same problem, even in Safe Mode. My Yahoo comes up as a Blank White Page... no error messages or anything, just a blank white page. Since I have posted this I have been forced to use Google Chrome, and I really hate using that browser, but I don't know what else to do here. Any other ideas please? Thank you once again.
Note: Even as I am typing this Firefox is coming up with a pop up window, suggesting I update to version 9.0.1 since it is a security and stability update. However I won't do this, because the last time I did, Firefox would not load at all. -
The pass 4 days now my iTunes Store is not responding, when I reload it all that comes up is a blank white page that says iTunes Store. Help please!!!! Cannot load my gift card to buy music and such!!!

I found a solution to my problem.
> start menu
> accessories,
> right click on the command prompt icon and choose "run as administrator".
Once it opens, type in the following command...
netsh winsock reset
hit enter
You should get a message that the winsock reset successful and you will need to reboot your computer.
Reboot and when I reloaded itunes the store loaded fine.

The only Iceberg app I can find in the app store is a social networking app, not an e-reader. I don't see how you could buy books for it.
UPDATE: I see that it isn't available in the US app store. To contact the developer find it in your App Store and there will be a link to the developer's support site. -
I love the new App Tabs but have several that when pinned just show a white page as the icon, so you have to mouse over them to figure out which one is which. Example is bankdirect.co.nz. Is there a way of getting the site logo to show up so you can see what is what at a glance but still have the nifty space saving size of the App Tab? Thanks!

Thanks for that. I have to say that there were a couple of screens that appeared to show both the iPhone and iPad and it was the iPad that was showing the icon!
It is not life threatening, I just thought that something had not installed as it should have.

I just got the new itunes and I can open itunes and see my music but whenI try and go to the itunes store it just loads to a white page. I try and refresh and go to the home page and nothing happens. I can sign into my account and the tabs for the itunes store pop up like they normally would when browsing the itunes store but when I click on one of them, it is a blank page. Is there a setting I need to change? Does it just take an extremely long time to load? Please help!!

i did have my most visited sites in the pin ups yet for some reason or other not sure why but not when i open a new tab all there is, is one big blank white page. Not a toggle switch not even blank pin up thumb nails. Any help would be greatly appreciated. thank you
