Billing Number Range problem ( accounting document not generated)
Hi All,
I have created some billing types and for them I have assigned some internal number ranges. Now when I create a billing document it is getting saved with the proper number range but no accounting document is getting generated.
Also when I try to release the invoice I am getting an error which says " *Incorrect doc.no.: 10000009. Select document number between 0090000000 and 0099999999* "
K I N D L Y suggest as U R G E N T.
Regards,
Danny.Dear,
Billing Number Range problem ( accounting document not generated) is not an error because when you create billing document then accounting document not generated. Accounting done after posting of that billing document with VFX3 or VF02 T.Code by account department.
And for second issue you had define number range between 0090000000 and 0099999999 for invoice so thats why it happen.

Dear All,

1.) Message no. 8I766 Number Ranges are not maintained For Extended Withholding Tax
Number Ranges are not maintained for Business Place and Section. Check entries in tables J_1iewt_cert (for Business Place) or J_1iewt_cert_n (for Section Code) and j_1iewt_certno in EWT.
I have checked all the above tables and found that the entries are maintained
2) When i am trying for print priview and then print its generating spool request and the certificate is getting saved -
> here the following problems are faced
A) . TDS Number is not coming
B).Details Of the tax deductor ( Name , Adress , TDS Circle , TAN & PAN is not coming Where to update these details
C) In Amount Paid / Credited Column - Some fixed amount is comming irrespective of the actual amount credited
Please help me in soving the above issues
Thanks & Regards
Arun.RHi
You need to maintain Section Code wise number range . Go to Sm30 Select Table J_1IEWT_CERT_N and maintain it.

Part1 is not generating for Vendor Subsequent delivey
Hi ASAP
I hope you must be doing great; steps are as follow which Iu2019m following for vendor return and subsequent delivery for Raw / Capital goods.
1. PO -> MIGO (101) -> Excise capture & Posting using J1IEX -> MIRO.
For excise, part1 & 2 to relevant register posting has taken placed.
Now quality dept. has rejected the goods, for which vendor delivery should take place.
2. For Vendor return Delivery
MIGO 122 w.r.t GR of 101-> Excise capture & Posting using J1IS&V.
For Excise, Part1 is getting created using J1IS, J1IV is creating Part 2, in Acct. doc. RG23C BED/ECS/HEC is being Credit and "PLA On Hold" is being Debited for BED/ECS/HEC amount.
3. For Vendor subsequent delivery, I have done the excise config. for Movt. 123 .
MIGO 123 w.r.t. GR of 122.
While doing GR for 123, system is not generating Excise screen.
Any way, After GR of 123, I have Capture Excise Invoice after inputting all relevant data, but while Posting, System is generating message that Part1 is does not exist for vendor excise invoice.
Now I think requirement is visible for your understanding to suggest me some valuable idea.
If possible can plz drop a test mail to hksiva.manoj at gmail dot com for further clarification?
Thanks & Regards
Manoj K SinghHi Rajaram,
Thanks for your ealiest reply, yes i have done the config. which you suggested,
Even after this " Specify which mvt type involves excise invoices", assignment system is not generating Excise screen for Movt. 123 w. r. t. 122.

Excise Accounting document not generated for Imported Asset GR
Dear all,
Excise accounting document is not generated for imported asset goods receipt(MIGO)
but "C" Register part 2 no. is generated,usual accounting document is generated for GR,
Asset is Dr to GR/IR
Process is
1. Create asset purchase order with acct. assignment "A",
2. Customs miro based on p.o.
3. Do GR with excise
4. Post invoice for orginal vendor.
What will be cause of this problem ?
How to solve this issue ?The above issue may be due to Accout assignmnet -A . Check your accout assignment in spro -mm-purchasing -accout assignment - Asset A - GR Non valuated has Ticked on . If it is ticked on - No Fi entry will happen at the Time of GR .
The reason being , if an FI entry happen for the first time , asset is capitalised . To avoid this GR is made in ur config as this .

Accounting document not generated because of different profit centres
Hi
In my current project billing is done by clubbing more than one sales orders
The problem we face is that if two sales order have different business areas or different profit centers accounting document is not generated
May be this is standard behavior of system
But my client prepares bill in this manner as a part of business process
Kindly suggest any setting or method to change the system behavior so that accounting document can be generated
Thanks and Regards
Sunil SrinivasanHi
This is the message I am getting
"Balancing field "Profit Center" in line item 001 not filled" -
Error in Posting Excise Invoice - Accounting document not generated !
Hi,
We have done the GR using MIGO-Only Part I, captured in the Excise Invoice using J1IEX and these two transactions are OK.
While we are trying to post the Excise Invoice, the system is displaying the following error:
Accounting document not generated!
Message no. 4F186
Please guide.
Please note that we are running the transaction in the Pre-production server for the very first time.
Also would like to know what all reports I should run related with Excise. Someone told me that I should run the T Code J1I5 & J2I5 to update the RG23 register the next day of the transaction the entry related with excise is not updated on the same day. I think the updation of register should be automatic
Regards,Hi,
I am repeating my Process/Question:
We have Created a Purchase Order with Tax Code (JMOP) related with Excise (Cenvatable).
We did the Goods Receipt (MIGO-> Only Part 1)
We did the Capture Invoice (J1IEX).
Till here every thing is OK.
While Posting the Excise Invoice (J1IEX), the system is giving the follwoing error:
Accounting document not generated!
Message no. 4F186
On Simulation window, the System is displaying the following CENVAT Posting:
24820020 Dr. 1,058.00
24820000 Dr. 105,840.00
24820010 Dr. 2,117.00
13113920 Dr. 109,015.00
But when we click on the Post CENVAT Button, the system is displaying the message "Accounting document not generated !" and exits.
Please guide.
Please note that we are running this Transaction on the Pre-production Server; On the Development Server it is working fine.
Regards, -

In OWB 9i, the database links are not generated as part of the mapping anymore. My problem is that I create a new source module and then a mapping using this source module, but it does not generate the code for the database link. When I deploy the mapping it says the database link does not exist, but it does not provide the code for generating the links. Am I missing something? I would appreciate a fast response, since I'm currently giving the OWB course and have to show the students the new 9i features tomorrow (Thursday 15 Aug)! Thanks!!
Hi Marlene,
You can get the database link DDL when you generate the Warehouse Module as a whole, open the Warehouse module editor and highlight the Warehouse module, right click and generate. In the generation results filter on DB links and review the scripts, deploy these in the schema where you want to install the mappings.
To create new db links, go to configuration on the warehouse module where you need to links, in there choose the last entry (database links). This also allows you to delete the ones you don't need.
Hope this helps,

REquirement not generated for component of Phantom Item
Dear Gurus,
We have a scenario where A,B,C and D are part of multilevel BOM. A is finshed product. B and C are phantoms. D is RM.
A is level 1, B level 2and C level 3. D is component of C.
After MRP run, we found that requirement is generated for Material A. However, corresponsing requirement of material D is not generated. Could you please suggest what can be the problem ?Hi
The parameters maintained by you are more or less OK.
Your issue is : you are not getting requirements for the part for which you have maintained manual reorder point.
It seems you have run MD02.
If you run MD02 requirements for the component with reorder point will not be geneated because it is consumption based planning& it is not requirment based planning.
For getting rquirement for that either you have to run single item single levelMD03 or total planning for the plant.
This is std SAP functionality.
Hope it is clear to you.

XML not generating when null data present in the table
Lets consider employee and dept tables and say one employee works in multiple departments,
Dept table data:
case1:
emp_id dept_name dept_id
1 Oracle 55
1 Datawarehouse 56
case 2:
emp_id dept_name dept_id
2 Oracle 55
2 Datawarehouse 56
2 Clearing House
2 Java
In Production environment, the below code generates xml for case 1 but not for case 2. In test environment , xml is getting generated for both the cases. It looks like null handling issue but why the same code behaves differently in qa and prod. dbms_xmlgen.getXML is not generating any exceptions. Any help would be appreciated.
DECLARE
ctx dbms_xmlgen.ctxHandle;
xml CLOB;
emp_no NUMBER := 7369;
i PLS_INTEGER;
BEGIN
ctx := dbms_xmlgen.newContext('SELECT emp_id,name,salary, cursor(select emp_id, dept_name,dept_id from dept b where a.emp_id=b.emp_id) FROM emp a WHERE a.empno = '|| emp_no);
xml := dbms_xmlgen.getXML(ctx);
i := dbms_xmlgen.getNumRowsProcessed(ctx);
dbms_output.put_line(TO_CHAR(i));
END;
Edited by: user512219 on May 22, 2012 12:52 PMGive the database version anyway, it could be a known bug.
Are the NULL column(s) part of the join predicate?
It's difficult to help in this situation, nobody but you has the real test case, so try to give as much details as possible.
Wild guess : does this make a difference?
dbms_xmlgen.setNullHandling(ctx, dbms_xmlgen.EMPTY_TAG);Edited by: odie_63 on 22 mai 2012 23:40 -
Why Tran.Request is not generated in some cases?How to identify such case ?
Hello Support,
In some cases
Eg;
1. Defining number ranges we normally do not create a Transport Request.
2. Maintaining characteristics values for each characteristic incase of Release Strategy
Is there any method by which we can find out the areas where we are not required to create Transport Request? If Yes , please let me know the steps involved in identifying the same .
Also let me know what do you mean by open Client . Thanks in advance.
