Partial podcast download... now can't get the rest

got about a minute of a podcast i subscribe to, then lost connection.
deleted file then when i went to try to get it again it won't show in my subscription list.
any advice or help?

Unsubscribe from the podcast, and then hit the subscribe button. Unsubscribe will delete any undownloaded podcast entries (the gray ones), and the subscribe will re-populate any entries that you haven't already downloaded.

The Huntress is correct, I have missed that you have an iPhone 3G
Usually iTunes will tell you in that case, that iOS 4.2.1 the newest version for your phone.
If you don't have an iPhone 3G, network connections timing out can be a security software problem:

I'd report the problem to the iTunes Store.
Log in to the Store. Click on "Account" in your Quick Links. When you're in your Account information screen, go down to Purchase History and click "See all".
Find the item that is not playing properly. If you can't see "Report a Problem" next to the entry, click the "Report a problem" button. Now click the "Report a Problem" link next to the item.
(Not entirely sure what happens after you click that link, but fingers crossed it should be relatively straightforward.)

HT4352 i set my apple up prior to setting up the itunes. I now can't get the apple tv remote to work any suggestions

I am having issues setting up my appletv. I made the error of setting it up without having itunes on my computer. I can't get the remote to work, the light isn't on the box, and I can't get it to reset to factory default. I don't have a "-" key on my remote. I held the menu button down with every button on the remote without success.

Your Apple TV may have become paired with another remote. Hold the remote close to and pointed at the Apple TV, hold down the menu and Rewind buttons together for 6 seconds or until you see a broken chain icon on screen.

Have you tried stopping the movie and trying to start it again.
Unfortunately you cannot re-download rentals. If the problem continues, select the content which is causing a problem and use the 'Report a problem' button in Your Purchase History.

Downloaded 1 episode of "Lost" and can't get the rest.

I purchased the entire first season of "Lost" and was charged for it. I downloaded the first episode and then stopped the downloading of the rest of them to watch it. Later, when I re-opened iTunes to get the other episodes I no longer have a "Downloads" icon in the left window under STORE. I've tried to check for purchases from the drop down "Store" menu at the top of the window but every time I get
Unable to Check For Purchases. iTunes store is temporarily unavailable.
This has been going on for a couple of days. I've read several posts, turned of my firewall and anti-virus, flushed the dns, and a bunch of other things and nothing works. I should also mention that I recently upgraded to iTunes 7.0 and then downloaded the first season. The program worked fine until I shut it off and went back.

I would suggest that you perform a "hard" reset on the AirPort Express Base Station (AX), and then, using the AirPort Utility, reconfigure it "join" or "extend" the AirPort Extreme as appropriate for your networking requirements.

What exactly do you mean when you say it isn't giving you the option to download, does it say it is already downloaded. If this is the case, then that suggests that the file is still somewhere in your iTunes library.

Time Capsule fell over, now can't get the disk to mount

Hello all
Sorry for being a numpty, I've trawled through various threads but can't find the help I need.
I store my iTunes library on a Time Capsule. When loading up some CDs earlier, iTunes seemed to drop the connection, couldn't find the disk. I rebooted the TC and it popped up with a flashing amber. Airport Utility says "internal disk needs repair".
I've had a look for threads with similar problems but I always get stuck at the "mount the sparsebundle in Finder" bit.
I can't get Finder to see any disk at all. So I can't drag it to Disk Utility...
Am I doing something really silly?
Is my disk inside the TC toasted? I hope not... don't have the iTunes stuff anywhere else except on old backups, which are (you guessed it) on the TC also.
I'm not much good with OS X either so very basic instructions would be gratefully received.

Can't address the problem directly, cause even though my iPad4 is Cell+Wi-Fi, I've never put a SIM in it and never had the need to text, SMS or iMessage, from it. When away from the office or home wireless network, I tether it off the iPhone. Skype, both text and video, work just fine thru the Wi-Fi link, though.
HOWEVER, when I was hashing out the contract details to get the iPhone 5 about 14 months ago at Telcel, the representative distinctly mentioned that both Visual Voicemail as well as iMessages would be included in the package and they would be mandatory cause "I was getting a (subsidized) Apple iPhone" on a 24 month leash. Then when the gizmo came out of its box for SIM installation and activation, she went thru the motions of making sure both were working properly. So I assume the carrier has some say in the matter.

I believe the only song that was completely downloaded was the first song.

Assuming you are in a region where you are allowed to redownload your past music purchases, delete the problem tracks from your iTunes library, close and then reopen iTunes, go to the iTunes Store home page, click the Purchased link from the Quick Links section in the right-hand column, then select Music and Not on this computer. You should find download links for your tracks there.
While downloading select Downloads in the left-hand column and make sure Allow Simultaneous Downloads is unticked.
If the problem persists, or that facility is not yet available in your region, contact the iTunes Store support staff through the "Report a problem" links in your account history, or via Contact Support.

I have Photoshop Elements 8 and upgraded to Windows 8. I now can not get the CREATE menu, and other things. How can I get them back?

Updated two computers and now can not get the serial number to work

can not get Production Premium Suite serial number to work after up dating both of my computers. get invalid serial number error. both are running OS X 10.9.4.

I am using version CS6, don't know support number. Did not deactivate because drive failed. put in new drive and it will not accept serial number. Same Mac Pro desk top just new hard drive.

InDesign CS3 - Created ToC, now can't edit the rest of the document

I have a small document -- about 56 A5 pages, no graphics or placed files, just styled text with tables -- in which I created two new pages after the title page and created a Table of Contents for insertion in them.
I applied a new Object Style to the ToC text frames to drop them to two columns -- the rest of the document is in one column.
Now I can't access any of the document for text editing except the Table of Contents. I can select any of the text frames with the selection tools, but as soon as I go to the text tool the cursor jumps to the end of the ToC. If I try to edit it in Story Mode, only the ToC text displays.
What am I doing wrong? How do I get at the rest of my document for editing? I haven't experienced this behaviour before at all.

OK, I found out what was going on.
When I inserted the ToC, it overflowed the two pages I had alloted for it before I reset its text frames to 2 columns. As a result, it created a bunch of extra text frames on top of the existing copy.
When I reconfigured the ToC text styles to fit its two pages, those text frames were left behind, but invisible -- whenever I tried to edit text on those pages, I was actually inserting the text cursor into these invisible text frames. Once those extra frames were deleted, I could get at the underlying frames directly again.
I worked this out when I discovered that I could get the cursor into text on later pages and then page-up into the pages that had been overlaid.
I haven't yet found any way of seeing what objects are on a given page apart from just looking at it, so I don't really know how to avoid this issue in future.
