Partitions vanish after redeploying foundation

We are using EPM 11.1.2.For a different problem we have, Oracle made us redeploy foundation services.
We have noticed that all our partitions are gone after we did this.
We are recreating them now.
Is it normal for partitions to vanish when we redeploy?
Thanks.

Ok, I have installed xf86-video-intel driver and xorg finally works (I am posting this through ARCH).
So it seems that the problem was with the xf86-nvidia-nouveau driver.
I am just wondering why xorg didn't use the xf86-video-vesa driver as it should do.
That's right Gusar, it is a Sony laptop.
I am really sorry for the waste of your time but I am deeply respectful for your fast answers.
Many regards, Liofter.
Edit: ARCH is beautiful

  • Boot Camp partition corrupted after OS X Yosemite Recovery Update

As the written in the title, after installing the Recovery update i can no longer boot to Windows, the drive doesn't appear on either StartUp disk or on boot when holding the option key. Is there anyway to recover it? don't have a backup of it so my options are either fix it if possible or start from scratch.

I followed the Steps in this thread(Bootcamp partition missing after yosemite installation). I dont see my Windows parition at startup-disk.
When i hold alt at the boot process, i can select and boot windows but then a weird error windows opens, it tries to repair the problem automatically, fails and wants to restart the computer...

    Thanks.

This is a problem which was previously discussed on this mailing list.
Dunno if you tried to restart (iascontrol start) iAS several times but after
a while all processes bind successfully.
In a nutshell (assuming you are using < SP2), your problem is that you don't
clean up your old references when you redeploy. What I mean by that, is you
should always run "iasdeploy removeapp/removemodule .... " prior to
redeploying. What you have now is a cache full of stale entries which are
taking space in the ldap resulting in a slow startup. When you redeploy new
entries are created (this has been changed in SP3) for all you components
    instead of overwriting.
    hope this helps,

  • Information is lost after redeployment of SAPMEINT - which workaround?

    Hello!
After redeployment of SAPMEINT I noticed that some information concerning the SAMEINT MII webservices gets lost.
I corrected this information manually afterwards - the information can be found in the old SAP ME 5.2 documentation
    (pre SP05).
What I did was first undeploy of SAPMEINT and immediately afterwards a new deploy.
Was the undeploy step unnecessary and therefore this step caused this annoyance?
Or is it always necessary to re-run the SAPMEINT configuration wizard?
I know that it is this configuration wizard, which updates the information as part of its function.
    This is the manual workaround:
    1. Log on the SAP NW admkinistratior console
    2. Goto Configuration Management / Infrastructure / Java System Properties / choose Applications tab
    3. Search for application xappsmeintegration~ear
    4. Change the following properties:
    webservice.authenticationMechanismType = 1
    webservice.Username = MESYS
    webService.Password = <password of MESYS>
    webservice.EndPointUrlPrefix = <URL to (MII hostname:port)/XMII/SOAPRunner>
    Kr,
               Erich Lind

    Hello,
thank your for the answer and clarification.
The have the benefit of the newest SAPMEINT version, this was deployed on the MII system.
In future the SAPMEINTCTC wizard will be executed after redeployment of SAPMEINT.

  • Programs generated using ABAP query vanishes after upgrade

    Hi all,
The programs generated using abap query in sq01 vanishes after upgrading from 4.6C to ECC 6.0 system.
Is this a know issue, do we have a solution for this?
    Can anyone help
    Thanks
    Senthil

    Hi,
Try to generate the Queries again in the new system...using the FM : RSAQ_GENERATE_PROGRAM
The input needed is the Query name and the usergroup...The details can be obtained from the table AQLQCAT(local queries areas) and AQGQCAT(global areas queries).
Once you generate the query , a program gets created...
if you have lots of queries to be genretated, write a custom report by fetching the data from the above tables and use the FM to generate the same...
    Hope this helps you..
    Reward if useful

  • Toplink JAXB - ClassCastException after redeploy in OC4J

    Hi,
I'm experiencing an issue casting an unmarshalled object after the application is being redeployed in the container.
I'm trying to unmarshall an xml that I retrieve as a resource from the classloader (the xml is also in the jar)
The ClassCastException is being thrown at the point where I try to cast the unmarshalled object. A sysout on the unmarshalled object prints a classtype that I expect, so my first impression is that the cast fails due the ClassLoader used by the JAXBContext (?) So I've tried to create the JAXBContext with the ClassLoader parameter using the class' classloader directly and the contextClassLoader, both unsuccessfull.
The problem solves after I restart the OC4J container, but for convenience, I would like to solve this without having to restart, if possible.
Has anyone experienced this problem, or know a solution?
    Thx!

    Hello Bert,
This is a known issue and there is a patch that is available from Oracle Support. When you contact support please indicate whether you are using TopLink 10.1.3 or 10.1.3.1. Also you can refer Oracle Support to me and I can help them find the correct patch.

HELP! my gmail account vanished after downloading ccleaner and chrome.

Your Gmail account is on a web site, not on your computer.
    Chrome is a web browser
You likely just cleaned your caches with CCleaner and it logged you out, log into Gmail again and all should be fine.

  • Bootcamp partition lost after moving to larger HDD (Mavericks and Win7 X64)

    Hi Folks!
I read those topics concerning lost and broken bootcamp partitions and I am Wondering if someone may help me.
What was my aim: Due to lacking space of my 320 GB HDD I moved to a 750 GB HDD.
I did this by installing Mavericks from a USB disk and rebuilt it with TM. After the installation I had a fully working Mavericks partition and the MacOS recovery partition.
Next step was to rebuild the Bootcamp partition. For that I installed a new copy of windows via bootcamp assistant. After booting up the first time I booted the mini partition wizard cd, deleted the bootcamp partition and rebuild the partition from the old HDD changing the size fitting to the available space. After rebooting I chose to boot from the Win7 DVD and chose the repair option to fix windows. Everything worked well, I could boot into Win7 and it showed me both partitions (Mavericks and bootcamp).
    BUT
when i boot into MacOS it is not able to mount the mavericks partition.
After checking it with fdisk and disk I found out that the bootcamp partition was recognized as FAT32 by the disk utility program, which always told me that it was not able to repair the bootcamp partition.
So I followed Christopher Murphy's instructions to change the type for FAT 32 (0C) to ntfs (07) with the effect that I can't boot windows anymore due to "operating system not found" error.
So this is what the refit partition inspector tells me about my HDD:

And this is a photo of the disk util (in german)
And this is the error when I try to check it:
Next step is to try to cover the windows copy. I guess startup repair will work, unfortunatly I  have no DVD at the moment right here.
But my problem is not the restoring of windows but to mount the bootcamp partition in Mavericks again.
    Any help?
    Thanks in advance
    Phil

Ok, it works again. But actually I don't know why. After neither startup repair nor mini partition manager could repair the ntfs partition, i deleted it and rebuilt it from the old HDD (fortunately not deleted yet). The only thing I did in difference was to boot into Mavericks before starting startup repair after i copied the partition. For any reason Mavericks recognized it this time. I have no clue why but everything is working.
    So far...

  • WTF: Panoramics Vanish after creation in CS4

Perhaps because using CS4 as trial (had difficult install, so not wanting to register until sure will work on this computer)?
Trying to make simple panoramic - 5 jpeg images - directly in PS (not from Bridge)
    File>Automate>Photomerge
    Select all the files.
PS-CS4 starts churning away, opens file named something like "unnamed panoramic1", informs me that is "aligning images based on content."
Things go well until it is apparently done, when the "unnamed panoramic1" file abruptly vanishes from the tabbed windows (yes, trying them). It cannot be found in "recent files", and cannot be found on the hard-drive where the images (all) were read from.
So ... what has happened to the output pano file?
Why is there no prompt to save, and it simply vanishes after (presumably) the images have been merged?
XPP/3, Core 2 Duo, 4 GB RAM, 5 TB HDs w 300 GB free on work drive. Small jpg images (3 MB ea), 200 GB free on PS Scratch Drive, 80 GB on Windoz Paging Drive.
ptGUI, APP, CS3 all have no difficulty merging these simple images - no do I think that CS4 does, it simply does not SAVE the RESULTS. Am I missing something obvious?
This is my first use of CS4, and am not impressed - as have already bought it am suffering from "buyers remorse", and wished that I had waited a few months ... wasting time I could be being productive.

PhotoMerge appears to have been broken.
The above failure was not because of lack of 'activation', as I went ahead, entered my serial number and activated, with the same result.
Selecting only two, easily matched images, again the "untitled_Panorama1" one file vanished at the end of processing.
CS4 did not ship with the 'manually align plugin', so copied that from CS3, and again tried to merge the two-image pano. This time, an errmsg popped up saying that "CS4 was unable to automatically align 'some' images [um, there were only two, and was not that the point of MANUALLY align]", then displayed a completely transparent "untitled_Panorama1" image and LOCKED.
Random clicking on the interface produced a "This program has ..." error (I saved the error dump, if anyone from Adobe is interested) and died.
To re-iterate, I have yet to be able to create the simplest two-image panorama with CS4 on two, quite different, XPP/3 systems. This with images that CS3 has no trouble with on these same systems(nor do other pano programs).
    Something is clearly wrong here.

  • [SOLVED] Partition ends after end-of-disk

When setting up my netbook for a new Arch Linux install, I decided to move my Windows partition from the middle of the hard drive to the end of it to make more room for my extended partition.  I tried to do this with GParted using a Ubuntu live USB.  Something seems to have gone wrong somewhere.
    $ cfdisk /dev/sda
FATAL ERROR: Bad logical partition 5: Partition ends after end-of-disk
Press any key to exit cfdisk
GParted also throws up errors with that disk.

Partition table entries are not in disk order
The partition isn't mission critical (there's no data I need on it), but it would save me a lot of time if I can save the partition instead of having to recreate a Windows install.  Any ideas as to what I can do?

You're totally right.  I thought that the partitions physically existed on the disk in the order that they were labeled numerically, but this isn't the case.  I realized that they were actually sitting in a different order after seeing your comment and trying
    $ parted -l
Error: Invalid partition table on /dev/sda -- wrong signature 3f93.
    Ignore/Cancel? i
    Model: ATA SAMSUNG HM160HI (scsi)

    3 98.7MB 126GB 126GB extended
    2 145GB 160GB 14.8GB primary ntfs boot
Of course, after I saw this, I took a closer look at the numbers in the fdisk -l output, and realized how funky things were.
You were right, everything was solved by deleting /dev/sda3.  Thank you so much for your help, TryA!
If it helps anybody in the future with this problem, I did this with fdisk.
    # fdisk /dev/sda
    Command: d
    Partition number (1-4): 3
    Command: w
It took me an embarrassingly long time to figure out that I needed to write the change after selecting which partition to delete.  =P

  • Vector shapes vanish after convert to shape..??

    Hello all,
Working on some logo treatments and using the extrution option in Ray Trace and for some strange reason two parts of my 5 part logo vanish after I create shapes from vector.  I have changed the extrude on them to see if they would appear again and that does not work.  I have a light present and I can see the otherparts of my logo just fine.  Very strange
    Has anyone experienced this problem?
    Thank you in advance.

I have each element on their own layer.  That is how I was able to bring it into AE easily with seperate layers.  I will go back and recreate the vector pieces in AI.  I can then bring it back into AE and just replace what I am using with the new version. Love the replace option in AE
I have another question but will make a new thread about it..
Any other ideas are helpful but I think I might just go back and try to make vector shapes again.  If that does not work I will change up my game plan in AE.

  • Keyboard shortcuts keep vanishing after reboot/restart

    Hello,
In  System Preferences -> Keyboard&Mouse, my keyboard shortcuts frequently vanish after a reboot/restart.  This happens over 60 percent of the time and I have to enter them all over again.  Very irritating..  Is this a known bug?  And is there any way to really 'save' keyboard shortcuts?
    Thanks,
    kds-kds

I have the same problem but it only appears to be with one device (iPhone 5).  My iPad and Mac seem to be fine.  I even tried a hard reset of the iPhone but that did not help.

  • After Lion update Vista32 partition vanished in disk0s4 not activated

Under SL 2 partitions with BootCamp: SL and Vista32, after update to Lion OS X.7 the Vista32 partition cannot be activated. Disk utilty program says: Volume check not successful, volume repair not successful, NTFS partition displayed as MS-DOS-FAT and not displayed in BootCamp.

    Problem solved.
I called the Apple help line and an advanced tech told me to take the MBP to a store to have them enter the proper serial number -- which would correct the "identity" problem.
I took it to the store and they told me they could not change a serial number without changing the mother board -- which they did.
    Problem solved.

    Hi,
    Build-time validation :
In .NET Framework 4, workflow validation errors weren’t counted as build errors during the build of a workflow project. This meant that building a workflow project could succeed even when there were workflow validation errors. In .NET Framework 4.5, workflow
validation errors cause the build to fail.
I suggest you to follow the below article for information on Windows Workflow Foundation in .NET 4.5
    https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/hh305677(v=vs.110).aspx
    Hope this helps !
