Group is associated with the workspace
Only this partner is having access issues. I tried logging in on his PC and my login works fine. He has tried logging in on other co-worker PC and co-worker can access but he still cannot. Issue is with his login. Also did verify that this partner can use the same login to access support.oracle.com using the same login credentials as mentioned above.

User "[email protected]" does not have access to the workspace "HCM Fusion Training", add user to that workspace. Currently Naga is only part of the workspace "Early_Adopter_Implementer_Training".

Hi ,
I am Unable to access applications in workspace and shared services on EPM 11.1.1.3. It happened after normal shutdown/startup scripts were run.
But when I reconfigure the Weblogic web server and run the services again I can access the applications.This is happening frequently now.
Is this anything related to user profiles on the server as we are migrating these to other server.
Can any one help me with this .

You must first check if you have configured the web server to include the hfm/planning products.

You should be able to log in directly to the service at https://cloud.acrobat.com/exportpdf. (Otherwise, you can access it via the Tools pane in the free Adobe Reader. What happens when you try to use the service. Are you getting errors? Or are you unable to log in?

Beehive Workspaces - WIKI pages and SSO

Hi,
I made a Word document that contains links to Wiki pages in an (Oracle internal) Beehive Workspace.
A side-effect is that the user has to logon through SSO each time a link is selected in the Word document, even if the previous link/session is still active in IE or FF.
Can this behaviour be changed, so the user user only needs to log on at the first link ?

How to access (or configure) the web based Oracle Beehive workspaces client

In the one of the Oracle Beehive online trial, there is a demo about working with workspaces using a web interface:

I've been searching the documentation how can I access this web client on my installation, but I hadn't find the URL.
I'm wondering if this web client is included in the 1.4 version, if so, how can I access it? Do I have to configure it or install it? How?

this client is not provided with the 1.4.1., but it is expected with the next release (in a couple of month normally, that's what great weith beehive releases, every 2-3 month you get a lot of news !! )

Enabling WebDAV access on a workspace

I know how to connect a WebDAV client to a workspace. However, it appears WebDAV access is not always available or enabled. For example, if I create my own test workspace, then add participants, then this workspace does not show up on the WebDAV clients of each participant.
My impression is that I need to explicitly enable WebDAV for all participants of a workspace, but I cannot find a setting in Beehive to do that.

WebDAV access is always available - there is no explicit action required. maybe the client need to do a refresh to see the new workspace but the system should display it if you go to https://beehiveonline.oracle.com/content/dav directly on a web page. If it does not show up then there may be something else going on with the way the users are set up or accessing the system.
Try the web page first and if there is still a problem we can investigate.

Users cannot access Planning throught Workspace using a 2008 AD Directory

Hi there,
We use Hyperion 11.1.1.2 Workspace; 2 AD directories, one 2003 other 2008.
We provison AD groups like EPM_FR_ADMIN for instance on both Directories. The AD users are members of these groups.
The situation is that we create users on the 2003 Directory wich access to the aplication without problem but the 2008 users get the "Failed to sync with user provisioning. Check Planning log for details" error.
Can anyone have seen this?

Yes I can provison the 2008 users. And if I do so the problem does not occur but we want to provison the groups intead of the users.
Let me elaborate the scenario:
We user Hyperion for almost one year using the 2003 Groups. Now we are on a process of migration to an 2008 domain (consolidating diffrent organization in one AD).
On the 2003 AD we created groups a provision them on the HSS, and configured the security for them. This config were used this las 12 months.
Now we began migrating users to the new domain (2008) we cretaed the AD Groups with the same name and provisoned them on HSS. I was our extectation that the Security would work since the groups have the same name.
Any sugestions?

Not able to access files from Workspace Images and Static files

We have just migrated our APEX Application from one server to another.
All the functionality is working fine except the images or files which we are uploading
in
Shared Components -> Static Files
Shared Components -> Images
We are uloading Images in Shared Components -> Images but those are not getting displayed there.
Similarly the files which we are uploaded in Shared Components -> Static Files are not accessible. If we
try to download using download icon its showing blank screen.
I am using some javascript files which i have uploaded into static files, but not able to refer them in page.
Please someone guide us how to resolve the above problem.

If you upload any static files such as IMAGES, FILES, or CSS you have to use the tags: #WORKSPACE_IMAGES# or #IMAGE_PREFIX# depending on your files location..
then try something like htp.p ('<img src="#IMAGE_PREFIX#fileName.gif" />');
And it should show the fileName.gif on your browser...
I am not sure if i remember correctly, you can reference files to a specific application or to the whole application, if I am not mistaken..Correct me..

Japanese Partner access names not displaying correctly

Japanese external users' displaying name comes as "????", however their user profile stored correctly in AD. Modifying Locale and Language Settings doesn't seem to have an effect. Does anyone suggest

According to your post, my understanding is that you have an issue about the display name for users created by Japanese.
What did you mean the Japanese external user stored correctly in AD?
Per my knowledge, the external users are not stored in your organisation, that means they are not stored in your AD.
If the users stored in the AD, per my test, the user name will display well no matter what language created.
You can check the user profile in the user profile service to make sure the user has been synced properly.
Central Administration->Application Management->Manage Service Applications->User Profile Service Application->Manage User Profile
To narrow down whether the issue is related to the user itself, you can create a new user in the AD, then check whether it works.

Can non-participants access the Public Documents in a Workspace?

i read this thread: Beehive Workspaces - Public Documents
but i'm still not clear if non-participants can access public documents in a workspace. i thought they should be able to but when i send the link to the public folder to non-participants they can not access.

Where is the check for null? I don't see anything?
EL is a "null-safe" language, which means that even if a null is encountered there won't be any exception, the expression will either evaluate to false or empty or 0 depending on what you're using it for.
"To check for null explicitly, use either the empty operator, or compare the expression to null using == or the is keyword, like this:

Created new workspace, user created OTN account but cannot access workspace

i recently created GFW_SYSTEMS_TEAM beehiveonline workspace.
i added 4 external users including myself as an external user using my gmail account: [email protected] so i could verify the process from an external user point of view
i created my OTN account and verified it but cannot access the workspace using this login.
when i check the users in beehiveonline-apex i see that all users are verified.
when i check the users in the workspace, 2x external users are missing but my gmail user is there
when i check the ~BOLADMIN tool i see that my gmail user is missing - only my oracle account is visible; the other 2x external users are also missing...
my oracle and gmail email addresses are similar : neil.pritchard@~ oracle.com, gmail.com
i am accessing from my secondary oracle laptop (OBI); not on vpn
can you tell me if there are any known conflicts with the above setup?

we spotted some provisioning scripts that had failed and are re-running them now - hoefully the extra users will be in the group/workspace soon. The 2 emails for you will not be a clash as they are valid and unique.
