Partner for release order

Dear All,
Could anyone tell me what's role of checking the partners and what difference by multiple ship to party place.
Regards,
Ashima

hi Ashima,
Suppose, there is company called as ABC which is having many manufacturing unit at diff locations say PUNE, MUMBAI, HYD, B'lor, etc. now you can create different company codes for ABC with diff location but then it will be difficult for maintain n reporting
so Now here we do create 1 SOLD - TO _ PARTY as ABC n different ship to party. so whenever i want to change the shipping location for company ABC i don't need to go for new customer.
Hope this will help you to understand

  • MM:Release Strategy for Release Order again Approved Contract

    Hi,
Release strategy for Release Order is required or not against approved contrat??
As fas as I know once the contract is approved, release order is not required to approve again.
This is the standard setting from SAP or We need to do some setting for this??
In my support project I have studied the release procedure and found that, same release strategy and release Group has been used for Purchase Order and Contract.
Please let me know if anyone have faced this rquirement  or I have to go for Z development for this requirement.
    Thanks you.

    Hi Lalita,
Thank you for your quick suggestion.
yes definitely the release stratergy and release group should be set up separately but here both are same
that is the reason this is  picking of the same release procedure again evenif the contract is approved.
we have following release characterstic for the release procedure.
    1) Purchasing Group
    2)Total Net Order Value
    3)Order Type
    4)Purchase Organisation
    5)Material Group.
I think for the above characterstic we must a separater value for PO and Contract but Currently all are merge
    in this only
But Can you tell me "Release Order should be subjected to release procedure" this is correct or not .
If yes then what is the base for this, I mean is it working on the concept that " If do relevent
release characterstic value is found then no release procedure and this is treated as autorelease in sap"
    Thanks you.

  • Automate WM material staging for release order parts.

    Hi all,
We use LP12 for monitoring WM Material Staging of Release Order parts. Is there a way to automate the process of WM Material Staging for Release Order parts?
Is there is any Standard SAP Program which can be run in the background or user exit to achieve this?
    Pl suggest
    Regards
    SB

    Hi Arunachalam,
You can configure WM staging settings in Production Scheduling Profile (OPKP)
You need to update WM Request field and the available options are:
No creation of transfer requirements on order release
X   Only creation of transfer requirements on release
1   Transfer requirement and transfer order on release
Hope this will solve your problem.
    Please check and Revert.

  • Authorized Partners for Release Orders with customer hierarchy

    Hello everyone,
I have created a value contract with order type WK1, in the order type WK1 configuration, choose rule B  for check partner auth. field, namely we want to use
customer hierarchy to detemine the sold-to-party for the follow-up release order. Also I have created the customer hierarchy with hierarchy type A. There are
four levels under this hierarchy, it contains four customer nodes and four customers. Every customer is belong to a customer node. The partner determination
for the customer hierarchy have alredy done, I can see the customer hierarchy "1D" at the partner tab of header in the contract, but when I release the sales
order against  the contract, input a low-level customer number, still got the message "partner X is not authorized to release from contracts.".
I want to know if I missed some settings in order type configuration or the copy control from WK1 to OR. If this scenario need integrate with  CRM system?  I
have found some related information, just list below:
Partners in the hierarchy (Rule B)
If the partner who wants to release against the contract is the sold-to party of the contract or at a lower level in customer hierarchy to the sold-to party in the contract, the system accepts the partner as the sold-to party for the release order.
If rule B is defined for the contract type, you can search for authorized partners for a release order using the contract number. Equally, you can search for the relevant contract for a release order using the partner number. In this case, the partner authorization rule is irrelevant.
    Prerequisites
If you wish to use group hierarchies other than pricing hierarchies to determine authorized partners, you must have created a hierarchy category and a hierarchy:
To create the hierarchy category, go to Customizing for CRM under Master Data --> Business Partner-->  Business Partner Group Hierarchy.
To create the group hierarchy, go to the SAP Easy Access Menu and choose Master Data --> Business Partners --> Maintain Group Hierarchy.
Note that you can only create group hierarchies in the SAP GUI and not in the People-Centric user interface.
You must have activated the necessary settings for the sales contract and the release order in the IMG for CRM. For more information, see Transactions ---> Settings for Contracts -->Define Settings for Authorized Partners.
      Thanks!

  • User-Exit for release orders in IP10

    Hello guys.
The orders created from planning orders (IP10) don't have the release status, this is because I marked the System Condition (CAUFVD-ANLZU) of the order as a required, and it fails in the verification.  I want to know if there is a user-exit, bapi or something I could use to modify or bypass the verificaction of IP10 when the release button (green flag) is pressed?
    Thanks in advance.

    Greetings,Gabriel!
    I understand that you had
    1) Set the Order Type that you use for Maintenance Items to "Released Immediately" in Order Type config
and at the same time you've
    2) Set the field CAUFVD-ANZLU to "Required" in the Field Selection for PM Order Header
    Hence you get the error
Field 'Syst.Condition' must still be filled
    Message no. IW464
    Diagnosis
The field &1 has been defined as a required entry field in your company, but is still empty.
    Procedure
Enter the required data in the field &1.
    And, subsequently:
    Automatic release failed
    Message no. IW520
    Diagnosis
The order was not automatically released. This can have the following reasons:
An approval necessary for release is missing.
A mandatory field was not maintained.
    Mandatory partners were not maintained.
    System Response
The system does not release the order.
    Procedure
Maintain the necessary data in the order and release the order manually.
I feel that the solution to your problem is to specify the System Condition explicilty on the Maintenance Item level. It will transfer to the Order created and hence allow the release. See the screenshot and the thread below (as mentioned by Thyagarajan Krishnamurthy)

  • Release Strategy for Release Order

    Hi,
We want to give release order (PO in reference to contract) authorization to dept managers.  How do we set up release?  Characteristic Cost center? If yes, do we need to create seperate strategy for each dept or what?  Thanks.

    Hi,
With reference to option 1 (authorisation), please remember that there's an option to grant auth. for creating contract releases, but not PO's without ontract in ME21(N).
For this, the functional auth. for buyers is provided in IMG (Purchasing > Authorization Management > Define Function Authorizations for Buyers.
Select all the flags as required and assign the code (e.g. 01 as in standard) to the involved users using the parameter ID EFB. In this case it is also approriate to disallow the users to change their own parameters.

  • Vendor block code for release order creation but no purchase order creation

The client has a vendor block code which when applied to a vendor through vendor block screen should allow release order creations against existing contracts and ARC but it should not allow purchase order creation. However, it is allowing purchase order creation also. Can anyone tell how to achieve this selective treatment that allows RO creation against existing contracts and ARCs' but no PO creation.
Are there any settings or configurations that have to be made in SPRO and other areas to achieve this.I would appreiate if anyone could give in a detailed and step wise solution.

    Hi
Take out all the blocks on company code and purchasing organization in XK05.
Only put block function as 01 (purchase order). It will not allow you to create purchase order but you can create contracts and release orders against contracts.
    Thanks

  • Report for released orders from credit block

    Dear Friends,
Can you tell me any report which can give us the list of released sales orders from credit block with user ID (who released) and date (when released).  If no standard report is availble then please give me the table where this data gets stored, so that I can create a query.
    Thanks in Advance,
    Sreehari.

    Dear Krishnan,
Thank you very much for your immediate response...................
With VBUK-CMGST (D) we can get the list of orders which were released from credit block, but I require the ID and Date (who released and when relaesed).
I hope my requirement is clear.
    Thanks & Regards,

  • Credit block following availabilty check for released order

    Inisights are appreciated.
We create a sales order for 100 items. We only have 50 in stock. The order gets blocked by credit since the customer is over limit. The order is released.
Stock is increased to cover the order. An availability check is executed in the order to confirm the items. No other changes are made to the order. The credit value of the order is unchanged. However the order is blocked again in credit.
This is a problem for us. Any suggestions on how to rectify this scenario are appreciated.

    Hello,
As you said the customer is over limit, after you release the order and do avialability check again, the order will again get blocked because of credit check. The system is behaving correctly as per standard SAP.
Check the credit limit of the customer and the credit availed in FD32. If you want to deliver the order, you will need to release the credit block again.

  • SZA1_D0100-SMTP_ADDR (e-mail adress in business partner for sales order)

I need to control that the in the Sales Order the field SZA1_D0100-SMTP_ADDR (e-mail adress in business partner) is setted.
I thinked to use USEREXIT_SAVE_DOCUMENT_PREPARE. In this exit I have on line the structure XVBPA with ADRNR and I haven't on line the structure SZA1_D0100-SMTP. When I'm inserting for first time e-mail adress in sales order, i must read the value in structure and not a DB table. In which structure on line for USEREXIT_SAVE_DOCUMENT_PREPARE i can read e-mail adress for a specific partner?
Also another way to control the setting of field SZA1_D0100-SMTP_ADDR is ok.
    Thanks.

I need to control that the field is setted on the sales order during its creation. If there is another way....it is ok.
I have seen that exist the structure ADSMTP where there is adress e-mail, but it isn't on line in the exit USEREXIT_SAVE_DOCUMENT_PREPARE.
    Who can help me?
    Thanks.

  • Skip Batch determination for Released Orders

    Hello Guys,
Need your help in skipping the Batch determination process(VB_BATCH_DETERMINATION) while changing it when the production order is already released.
    Appreciate your quick response.
    Thanks

Batch determination has to be skipped when the process order is already released and when you try to change the order using C0R2

  • Types of PO for contract release order

    Hi Experts,
What kind of PO type should I use to perform contract release order?
What is the purpose to use or not standard PO (NB)? In wihch case do I need to use PO type FO?
    Thanks in advance,
    Cesar

If you want to differentiate the Release Order from standard PO , then you need to define a new PO Doc type .
ex: If the Std Doc type "NB" is used for PO Release process and you do not want release process for Release order.
Similarly for Authorization Purpose also ( you want to restrict the Release Order creation to some users )..
For Frame work orders, check the below Link

  • Open Order quantity in Release order of Contracts

    Hi all,
We are developing new PO format for Release Order ( Contract) where in we want to print the Open order quantity & Open order value along with Contract number.
What is the best logic for Open order quantity, where in it has consider all the previous release order quantities minus the target quantity in contract.
Open order quantity = target quantity in contract - all previously release order quantities.
    Thanks in advance.
    MM
    MM

    hai sajid,
    As u said,
open order quantity = total quantity in contract - total quantity released against that contract ( Through release orders )
    it is right,

  • Release strategy for Release POs

    Hi Every one,
    We have a requirement.
A contract is created and approved as per the regular strategy.
The releases (POs) are created against it and sent directly to the vendor.
As the Contract is already approved, standard SAP does not apply the release strategy for the POs created for the contract.
But the business wants the PO releases too to follow the release strategy.
Can you please look in to this and let me what changes we need to make this happen.
    Regards
    Pavan

As the Contract is already approved, standard SAP does not apply the release strategy for the POs created for the contract
This statement is not correct, it's upto you to use or Not to use Release Process for release Orders (PO) created w.r.to Contract.
As the table & fields are Common for both Contract & PO release ..you need to choose the PO relevant fields & values in the Release Strategy..
So that the Release Process is applicable to PO's created w.r.to Contract also..
For ex: if you use the field purchase Doc category as a Character  in  the Release , it differentiates whether it is PO or Contract..
So that you can define different Release Strategy for PO & Contract
Or  if you maintain the Doc type of PO in the Contract Release Strategy in CL20N / CL24N trxn code..
then the release strategy applies to PO also..

  • Material Code for Process Order Settlement document

    HI,
When Process Order to a material having Standard Price is settled, the following entry is passed.
    Inventory Change A/C Debit/Credit
    Price difference A/C Debit/Credit
It is being obeserved that in the line item of FI document for the Inventory Change the material code appears in the Price difference line items whereas for Inventory Change line item the material code does not appear.
I want to know why this happens ?
    Regards
    Partha

    Using warehouse management /WM) :
    - Create a control cycle for the component, using LPK1. Here you define if the supply will be specific for the order (when weighing takes place in the warehouse) or for released orders (normallu full packages of components and weighing is done at plant level). Reference to a supply area.
    - The resource used in the operation has a reference to the supply area.
    - Components have material master views in WM for the selected storage type
Then, when releasing the orders run LP10 - LP12 to generate the Transfer requirements for the raw materials. These TR will be converted to Transfer Orders and Confirmed, so the stock will be moved to your supply area.
Using Inventory Management, none of the above is required. You can use MF60 to move materials from General Storage Location to Shop Floor SLoc.
