Partner Link on left side -- A bug?

Hello, I am using 11.1.1.7
I have a problem where inside the BPEL designer sometimes the partner link is on the left side while in the composite screen it is on the right. It seems to be re-producible -- if you have a file adapter configured in the composite and hooked up to an invoke in the BEPL designer. If you go to the composite, delete the line from the BEPL, then re-draw it. Inside the BEPL, the partner link appears on the left -- at least it did in my tests.
I wrote this a couple of months ago https://forums.oracle.com/message/10926472 and got no replies. This problem still baffles me.
I am not sure if this is a problem, but it is dis-concerting. I know it is possible to create a partnerlink in the BEPL process, but it would be nice to know what is proper....and whether having the partnerlink on the left constitutes a problem....

At the BPEL designer both lanes, left and right, have the same "meaning" and can show a partnerLink.
In fact, when you click with right button in a partnerLink you have the option to move the partnerLink from one lane to other.
But I'm not sure about which conditions would force the editor to change the partnerLink disposition.
At the Composite is different: the left lane it is reserved to exposed services while the right lane it is reserved to external references (consumed services and/or adapters).

I have noticed that the partner links inside the BPEL show up on different swim-lanes, sometimes the right side, and other times the left side, and there seems no rhyme or reason for it. Visually I prefer that it is on the right side since it "feels" like it is reaching out for data....and away from the original calling client.
I am working with a DBadapter, and later wrote the output to a file.
I create the DB adapter in the composite.xml file, and then drap a BPEL onto the composite. In the composite.xml, I draw the lines to it, and then open the BPEL to work on the assign and invokes. The partner link was on the right side. Fine.
Then after creating the assign and invoke, I went out to the composite and dragged a file-adapter on the composite, created it, then dragged the lines from the BPEL to the file adapter. Open the BPEL and the partnerlink is on the left.
I know it is possible to drag a partner-link onto the BPEL (from inside it), but that is cumbersome when the partnerlink is so easily created with the initial drag on the composite.
Is there a reason for this? The functionality seems to be OK, but visually, it just seems better to have these partner links on the right side.

When I use Safari on my iPad 1/4 of the left side of the screen is grey. It seeme devoted to "shared links", "reading list", or "History". I would like to get rid of that. How can I do it?

UWL Screen Customization - Refresh Link moved to the Left side

Hi Experts,
The UWL changed just a little bit our requirement, the 'Refresh' HyperLink has been moved to the Left side of the screen.
I have been doing a lot of research but I can not find any documentation on how to do this. Anyone

A printscreen of the issue is welcome. The refresh icon in the standard uwl is a small icon on the right hand side.
So your mission is to align the refresh button to the left?

When I customize the toolbar moving all buttons to the left side of the url field, the X button disappears. It reappears when placed to the right of the url field. (FireFox 4))

This is actually less of a question and more of a bug report. When I searched for "report bug" this was the best and most likely place I could find that would actually accept input and not direct me to static links. This issue is repeatable.

Firefox 4.0 has a combined Reload and Stop and Go button that appears at the right end of the location bar.
To restore the Firefox 3 appearance you can use these steps:
* Open the "View > Toolbars > Customize" window to move the Stop and Reload button out of the location bar.
* Move the Reload and Stop buttons to their previous position at the left side of the location bar.
* Set the order to "Reload - Stop" to get a combined "Reload/Stop" button.
* Set the order to "Stop - Reload" or separate them otherwise to get two distinct buttons.

How to I make pop up windows go back to the left side of the screen when they are moving to the right?

Whenever I click on a link, a new window pops up. That's good, that's what I wanted. They've always opened on the left side of the screen. However, they are now opening in the middle of the screen. List all tabs to left side of window

i want to list all tabs to left side in a window like ctrl+b makes all bookmarks to left side to window . tried 'tile tabs ' add on it is useless .any one suggest me the shortcut or add on.

The link to the actual plug-in seems to be broken. Any one else see this? The "Add To Firefox" button actually points to the "Hide My Ass IP Checker" Add-on instead of the Tree Style Tab add-on.

How do I delete gray sidebar on left side of screen?With

WIth a recent update in Safari on my ipad, there is a wide gray sidebar on the left side of the screen. It displays bookmarks, the reading list and something else. This sidebar takes up a third of my iPad screen. I do not want it. How can I delete the entire sidebar so my safari screen goes back to full size?

Actually, I think that it should probably disappear on its own after you select the bookmark, but I don't think that it is working properly and it must be a bug. From time to time, it does disappear on its own after I make my selection. When I use the iPad in portrait mode (almost never) it disappears on its own every time after I make the selection.

How do I stop the side bar from popping up in the left side of my screen when I click on a bookmark on my tool bar?

I just got a new laptop, and redownloaded mozilla as my browser. I've set up my tool bar tabs but when I click them they only appear on the left side bar when I click them. This didn't happen before on my previous laptop, so I'm confused on how to get it to stop opening the sidebar when I click them, and have them instead appear in my main window.

Opening in the sidebar is the default for bookmarks that are created via a link or button on a website.
You can check the properties of a bookmark via the right-click context menu in the sidebar (Ctrl+B; Command+B on Mac).
In the Bookmarks Manager (Bookmarks > Show All Bookmarks) you can click the More button in the Details pane at the bottom right.
Make sure that "Load this bookmark in the sidebar" is not selected.

Not sure if this would solve your requirment but just in case might be helpful:
1. We can mix up the HTML and HTMLB components in the JSP Page. However, can access only the HTMLB components in the controller. The following link refers to what customizations are offered by the HTMLB framework:

2. Another option would be to use AbstractPortalComponents or a simple web app if that's feasible. (where custom UI themes, css and layout are more in control of the developers.)

I have a problem with my printer since i changed the black cartridge. At the screen, it display a message with OK at the right/left side but when I touch the bottom right/left side of the printier touch screen, there is no reaction, can someone tell me what to do. I see that you are having an issue with the touchscreen on the printer.
When this issue happens it is typically a power related issue. Please make sure that you have the printer power cable connected directly to a wall outlet and not a power bar/strip. Here is a document that uses a LaserJet printer as an example but it is meant for HP products in general. Please click on the following link that explains the Issues when Connected to an Uninterruptible Power Supply/Power Strip/Surge Protector.
I would also suggest that we run the HP Officejet Pro Firmware update.

HP Laserjet 4P has a 1" toner stain that runs down the left side of page.(front and back)

Hello all,
This is my first post here and I hope someone can help me.
We have a HP Laserjet 4P that we have used for a few years and recently have had a problem of a 1" toner stain that runs down the left side of the printed page(both front and back side). I have replaced the cartride and cleaned everything I know to clean. When I remove the cartridge, there is a little pile of toner on the left side just in front of the horizontal silver bar that is behind the roller. I have cleaned it up several times. Each time I try to print, The toner stain appears on the printed page again and leaves a new pile of toner in the same place.
Does anyone have any experience with this problem? I am not sure if it is a worn part or a maintenance issue.

My iPod was knocked out of my hand at school and it cracked and chipped really bad. It worked fine, until this moning. The entire left side of my screen does not work at all. I cannot rewind songs, unlock my device, or enter my password.
How am I going to get my serial number now?
It is practically impossible.

The problem of tracks becoming de-linked between iTunes and the music files in your iTunes music folder happens for different reasons - this seems to come up fairly commonly in this forum.
The solution can be to locate each song in the iTunes library, as you mentioned - or, but wait, before I get to that...
trouble finding the original track in your iTunes music folder? maybe look for it under compilations, or if not using the 'group compilations preference' then look in the folder under the songs artist name, but what song artist name iTunes uses depends on what you have in the metedata tag spot for album artist or song artist. Any varyation in artist name spelling, in the menu item 'get info' metadata for any selected individual track will cause iTunes to create that as a separate artist folder in the library, even names like 'various' or any difference at all (even the word 'the' can change where in your iTunes music folder a track gets placed by iTunes). You can try to use the finder function of find file (finder munu item outside of iTunes) to locate hard to find items.
Back to how to re-link any de-linked tracks .
There may be scripts that can help re-link de-linked music files - or, at least provide you a list of such files, Scripts are easy to install and use...
