Partner page/feed with status of current CMS issues?

Gday BC users
I logged a detailed support request around the following, but the Adobe support system had an error processing the form, so it went into a black hole (back button didn't save me this time).
The CMS is behaving differently than expected at present. Presumably this affects all users of BC presently, so I figure there may be a status page that updates us. Does anybody know of such a page?
I imagine it would be more useful than every BC user this morning writing in about shared problems with the CMS?
The problems I am experiencing with the CMS this morning are:
- After creating a new page, and applying a template, save, close, the template does not actually apply. Opening the page again, reapplying the template, save, close, it does apply.
- After creating a new page, and wanting to add it to a menu via the 'More Actions' button, there is no such button. Close, reopen, there's a 'More Actions' button.
Since these are basic functions playing up, I know they will get attention, but I don't feel like being one of potentially thousands writing in about the issue.
If such a status page/feed is not available, I'll check the wishlist.
What do others think about this type of situation — would you like such an informative page or feed?

I just tried replicating those errors and everything worked for me as expected in Chrome on Mac.

I also looked at More Actions after creating that page and Add page to the menu item was there.
Can you try this in a different browser or clear the cache and cookies? Also, tell us more about the environment you're using. Finally, see if you can provide a URL to your site and I can test this for you on your site. Please give me some details, such as the exact workflow and the name of the template you are assigning.

Pages 5.0 - Status bar current page & page count?

How do I show the status bar showing current page and page count? I do not need to see the full thumbnail bar.
In all prior versions of pages, I could look at the bottom of my window and see my current page and how many pages are in my document. Now, I glance to the bottom, and I have no idea. I cannot find any way to turn this on and turning on the thumbnails view does not show this to me at-a-glance because I have to scroll all the way down (through documents hundreds of pages long) to find out how many pages I currently have.
Please, what am I missing here, how can I make this show up again?
I mean a quick display here, not adding the page count and numbers to a documents footer. Although, that would be one way for me to solve this issue, but I do not always want that.

I wrote a short AppleScript solution that informs about the current document page as a pop-up dialog. This is for Pages v5+ only. I created and saved an Automator Application named CurrentPage to my Desktop. Providing that Pages is running, it will produce the dialog shown in subsequent Automator screen shot.
Double-click /Applications/Automator and choose New Document, Application, and Choose. Follow the Utilities > Run AppleScript (not Shell Script as shown), and drag Run AppleScript over into the larger window and drop it. Select all of its contents and remove them -- this is just boilerplate.
Copy and paste the following AppleScript into the now vacant Run AppleScript workflow window. Click the hammer, and File > Save... pick a name, and location to save the application where it is handy. Quit Automator.

IDOC is not processing in R/3 with status 64(Urgent)--Production issue.

Here we are implementing MIRROR sytem for data extraction in to BIW.
I had gone through the steps in PDF file(How to minimize down thime for Delta Initialization) which has given by SAP.
These are following steps I had performed in BW production
1. Using RSADMIN transcation- Assigned one user as a Debugging user.
2. With the Debugging user Created one infopackage on Purhcasing ITM datasource--
 In data selection tab, I given date as from 2002 to 2003
 In Update tab, I selected update mode as Initialize Delta process- without data transfer and Uncheck Update Data in master system immediately
 In schedule tab I selected option Start Data load immediately then Start extraction.
3.Data was requested and It was intialized properly with green status 1 from 1 Records.
4. In details tab Request, Extraction, transfer(IDOC and TRFC), Processing everything in Green color.
5.As per document I have checked in R/3 for IDOC with status 64 using transaction BD87/WE05
Problem is that IDOC is not processing in R/3 system. for that IDOC I have checked in BW montior screen using the option IDOC list in Source sytem, here also it is not showing any IDOCs.
Please let me know why BW sytem is not sending any IDOCs to source sytem.Is there any settings I could have miss in BW aswell as in R/3 system.
Note: In BW production I successfully loaded master data from R/3. aswell as I triggered infopackage-Initialization with data transfer, it is showing IDOC number properly in R/3 system.

- check you RFC destination (normal test + authorization test)
- Check you partner profiles in WE20 and its ports WE21
- from the source system tree (RSA13) right click your source system and perform a check
- the best is to restore your source R/3 source system from BW (right click on it ans select RESTORE); you'll need to be able to log in the source system as an admin as well as opening the source system for customizing in SCC4 so that BW can recreate the correct partner parameters automatically; the best is to do that with your basis group.

How can I use documents created in Pages 08 with the most current version of pages?

I just upgraded to the most current version of Pages from Pages 08. However, none of my files created with Pages 08 will open. I am told that I first need to save them with Pages 09, but I don't have Pages 09. What can I do to convert these files into a format that works with the newest Pages?

I have the same problem. There are a couple of clumsy workarounds. One is to open your file with Pages 08 and export it as a Word document, then import it into Pages 5. The second one is to open the file in Pages 08, copy the contents to the clipboard and paste it into Pages 5.

By disabling the Java web plug in in Safari does this deal with/fix the current "security" issues Apple is now addressing?

If Software Update reports that the update is available, it means that you are or have been running Java. Install it. It will remove the Flashback malware.
If Security Update 2012-003 does not appear, then you have not been running Java. Leave it disabled.
In other words, merely un-checking the "enable Java" checkbox will not remove the malware if it is already present. You should install the update if it is offered to you.

CSS Rollover Menu with Images and Current Page Indicator

Hello.

I have a web site with 15 pages based on a template and I want to use that video sample to do the same thing on my web site.
Please tell me if I can use the sample from the link above to do that.
What should I change in the css file (what new class should I make) to make this work on a web site based on a template ?

I don't know about that video tutorial but a sitewide persistent menu indicator ('you are here' highlighting) is very simple to do with CSS classes.

Can current version of pages work with osx 10.6.8

My iMac uses OS 10.6.8. Can the current version of pages work with it?
I also have a Macbook pro running Mavericks with the current version of Pages. Can I drag that Pages app to my iMac and install it there?

No and you would not want it to.
Pages 5 is missing almost 100 features, it is a downgrade not an upgrade and requires Mavericks.
If you want compatibility, use Pages '09 on the Mavericks installation or Export from Pages 5 to Pages '09 format.

AutoConfig is exiting with status 1 And ORACLE error 6502 in afpodbinit

Excuse me for trying to brief the Issue in such manner which may not be apt. or appear stupid to many Experts. But I am newbie to Oracle Apps !
After registering the EBS R12.1 Vision, DB version 11.2.0.3.0 with OID 11.1.1.6 successfully with $FND_TOP/bin/txkrun.pl Before that Registered EBS Instance with OID
 as part of Integrating EBS R12 with OAM-OID 11g according to (ID :1309013.1)
 Once i updated these profile options i.e "Applications SSO Type" profile option to “SSWA w/SSO” and“Applications SSO Login Types” profile option to BOTH , AND
Applications SSO Auto Link User profile option to “Enabled” And “Applications SSO Enable OID Identity Add Event” profile option to “Enabled”.
And than it requyire the EBS tier to be restarted Once i restarted it Than the following Issues Occured.
 1. As i specified the provisiontype value to 1 which means that the user that's got created in OID should be populated in fnd_user table in EBS But this is not happening
 as the User that i 've created with the ODSM is not propagated to fnd_user table when i verified it with the following query

Hi,
I have a probem in my production database -
Server - Windows 2003
DB - Oracle 10g
When i try to open Enterprise Manager I get the below error message. This was working fine since last month. But I haven't made any changes to this DB. But I noticed that disk space was very less so I deleted files from recycle bin, temp internet files, cookies and some unwanted documents i copied on the server. No disc space is OK. I have 10 GB free space. Also i am getting DB warning notification because table space is 92 % full so I want to increase it. But I dont know why I am getting this because I had already set to grow table space automatically.
Is there any other way to increase table space other than that in Enter prise manager ?

I tried to troubleshoot as per some forums but it doesnt work. If i use command prompt or sql plus to connect to DB it works but only enterprise manager has this issue. Also my Documentum Application connected to this DB works fine.
listner is fine. Also I added server login account in 'log on as batch john' in local policies.
I do not have a back up to restore also.

Previously I used to get login page but now instead of login page I get this warning. There is also 'Startup' and 'Perform Recovery' button. Even if I use 'startup' button it does not resolve issue. It gives me the bellow message -

I used this to unlock my oracle user yesterday

Chek this thread which contains step by step procedure to process Idocs

Also try these steps
1. Goto Infopackage
2. Click on the "Details" Tab of the Infopackage
3. Goto Datapackage which is currently process
4. Under the detail tab you can see
Date, Time, Record... in that you can also see IDOC#
5. Take the IDOC# and goto BD87 of the Sourcesystem
6. Paste the IDOC# against IDOC
7. Give IDOC Status = 64
8. Give Partner system = "Your Source System"
9. Execute BD87.
10. You will navigate to next screen
11. Maximize all by using "Expand Subtree" button on Menu
12. You can see "IDOC stauts " column with 64
13. Click on the row against to 64
14. Click button "Execute" on Menu.
15. Your IDoc will start processing
16. If it success IDoc status will be turned to 53 else to 51.

How can I resize a pdf page content with annotations and highlights in Acrobat Pro?

How can I resize a pdf page content with annotations and highlights in Acrobat Pro while maintaining page size and annotation/highlight interactivity? I've tried to use the crop tool in Acrobat Pro (9) and the page does resize, but the highlights and annotations go all over the place. I specifically need to scale the page content smaller (83%) but maintain page size and annotation/highlight to content connection and interactivity.

An old trick (not recommended) would be to print to a new PDF with the page size selected but a scaling of the content. Only print the document, not the markup, to a new PDF. Close that PDF when done and reopen the old one (or maybe a copy of the old one for safety) and use Document Replace pages and select the new document to replace your current pages. You will then have to go back through the markup to locate it all correctly. There may be a more elegant way, but this may be the fastest.

Error in idoc with status 20 "Error triggering EDI Subsystem"

Dear All,
I have query related to IDOC Status 20.
I am tirggering IDOC with standard t-code from IS-Retail system. I have created two ports a) TRFC port and b)File port .
We are having sending and receiveing application on two different OS i.e one XI on Windows and IS Retail on AIX(Unix). I am not able to send idoc to another system. I am getting these IDOC status in WE05 (STATUS 01 , 30 , 03 , 20 )
Keeping the above fatcs in mind could you please tell me how to remove the error with status 20 "Error triggering EDI Subsystem".

You should have checked the automatic triggering possible at the file port level and the partner profile setting could be 'start subsytem'.
Go to WE21 and do the access test for the file port.
Once you done and find no issues then go to SM59 and test the connection for the RFC destination assigned to the ports.Possibly it has to do with the RFC destination.
Other reasons could be yours is a test client and got refreshed recently.so the production client settings might be causing this error.Check with your basis to get it working.
other reason could be the logical system assigned to the client should be having production client's name.
Check these.
I am sure you should be able to solve this issue.

Urgently, how to use the EEWB to ad new field in the business partner page

I am working on CRM 5.0 EEWB
I am trying to add new field in the business partner page I followed the steps for creating the project and the extension but I faced some problems
1-I chose the package BBP_BUPA_MAIN BBP Business Partner General
I created two transport requests for the workbench and the customizing
2- I created an extension with EEW Bus. Object: BUPA and extension type: ADD_NEW_FIELDS
3- I got an error that "Object DOMA ZBU_009XN27S is in the name range reserved for customers. The object cannot be assigned to package BBP_BUPA_MAIN, since it belongs to a different name range or namespace"
I tried to change the package but the same problem occurs and if I choose a custom made business package I get a similar error but, before the wizard starts
I want to know the exact steps to create new field using the EEWB

Clearly states that you need to assign some different name to the package which is not reserved by SAP as Z### is already reserved by SAP and thus you will not be able to create the enhancement in the same.

Message stuck in Adapter Engine queue with status "Delivering"

Hi All,
I have a File to File EOIO scenario. The messages are sucessfully delivered from IE to AE. All entries have a chequered flag in SXMB_MONI. No messages are stuck in IE queue (SMQ2). But the message is stuck in AE queue with status "Delivering". I can not resend or cancel the message coz the status is "delivering".
The reason it is in "delivering" status is due to some config error that I made in Communication Channel FTP parameters. Now it is corrected. But how do I deal with this message now?
Restart of server is not an option here. Is there are place I can delete the message from AE queue?

You can see the queues status (and number of stuck entries etc) through the link:
http://<host>:<port>/MessagingSystem/monitor/systemStatus.jsp
There, you can maintain the queues.
There is also a link for the EOIO Sequence Monitor:
http://<host>:<port>/MessagingSystem/monitor/sequenceMonitor.jsp
There you can see the stuck messages and maintain these.
Make sure to handle the proper message IDs.
All of these are acessible through the Messaging System main page:

How to use EEWB to add fields in business partner page

Hello All
I am working on CRM 5.0 EEWB
I am trying to add new field in the business partner page I followed the steps for creating the project and the extension but I faced some problems
1-I chose the package BBP_BUPA_MAIN BBP Business Partner General
I created two transport requests for the workbench and the customizing
2- I created an extension with EEW Bus. Object: BUPA and extension type: ADD_NEW_FIELDS
3- I got an error that "Object DOMA ZBU_009XN27S is in the name range reserved for customers. The object cannot be assigned to package BBP_BUPA_MAIN, since it belongs to a different name range or namespace"
I tried to change the package but the same problem occurs and if I choose a custom made business package I get an error "Extension type BUPA - ADD_NEW_FIELDS cannot be combined with package Z###" but, before the wizard starts
I want to know the exact steps to create new field using the EEWB
