ALE issue:No partner profiles (message control) maintained
Hi,gurus:
My ALE scenario is tranferring PO from client 800 to 900 client.
Now the logical system, partner profile, port, rfc, distribution model are created both the sender and receiver side.
In ME21N->MESSAGE, the output type is NEU,and medium is A,partner function is LS,partner is ECCCLNT900.
When I saved the PO,the status is red,and no idoc was generated.
I viewed the processing log,the information is: No partner profiles (message control) maintained.
But my distribution model is sender:ECCCLNT800;receiver:ECCCLNT900;MESSAGE:ORDERS;
The partner profile is ECCCLNT900(LS),and the outbound parameters are ORDERS,SYNCH. For ORDERS,the message control is EF,NEU,ME10.
Have you ever met this issue?
Thanks in advance.Hi Li,
Please refer this threads...

Hi ,
I have created a partner profile of type logical system. If i dont specify anything in the inbound parameters and send an idoc to this partner profile then how would the system respond.
Regards
ArunINBOUND processing the IDOCs are transferred to the interface and stored in te SAP system. The document data is generated in the course of workflow.
In this section the SAP system is made known to the upstream system (startrfc program parameters). Conversele, the upstream system is made known to the SAP System via the port definition.
INBOUND Processing - Create Function Module.
This function module is called when a message type, of the ZINVRV, comes into the receiving system. This needs to be configured. The function module is passed the IDOC as a parameter.
Use the T.code WE19 to test inbound function module in debugging mode.
Use the T.code EW05 to view the IDOCs and their statuses.

IDoc Receiver, Error in we02 - EDI: Partner profile inbound not available
Hi All,
I have a problem when creating a receiver IDoc from XI to R/3.
I have successfully tested the IDoc when populating the receiver information from the payload. However I want this information to be populated automatically based on the logical systems.
When I do this I get the following error in the IDoc in R/3:
EDI: Partner profile inbound not available
In the control record the sender information is all correct but in the recipient information the partner Number with type LS is populated, but port is not populated.
I have done the following steps.
the sender is a Business Service so I have created a logical system directly adapter-specific identifiers in the sender service in the integration directory.
In the receiver business system I have imported the logical system into the adapter-specific identifiers in the ID from that specified in the SLD.
In the receiving R/3 system using SALE/BD54 I have created a logical system for the source system.
In the receiving R/3 system using we20 I have created a partner profile of type LS with the same name as the source logical system.
IN PI/XI system in transaction IDX1 Ive created a port (SAP<SID> where <SID> is the system ID of the receiving R/3 system) and the client of the R/3 system, and the RFC destination of that system (<SID>CLNT<clnt>, as specified in SM59).
In the IDOC Adapter (receiver) I have entered the RFC destination and port matching those created above. All checkboxes are UN-checked eg. take sender from payload, take receiver from payload, Apply control record values from payload, etc. are all NOT checked.
I think that Ive done everything correctly, but I get the error in we02 in R/3: EDI: Partner profile inbound not available.
Any help will be greatly appreciated (and rewarded, obviously).
Thanks,
Matt.HI Matt,
Can you please copy paste the exact error message....In your error message it will show you Exact partner Number / Logical System name and other parameters...just compared if you have all parameters set in your partner profile comparing to error message...
If you can giev screen shot of both..then probably would be easy to point out error.
Hope this will help.

Issue in Partner Profile config for Outbound IDOC
Hi Experts,
I have requirement like, When ever there will be any change in a Sales Order an Outbound IDOC will get triggered though a output type. This IDOC will save a file in the Application Server.
The Message Type i am using is ORDERS and the Basic Type is ORDERS05.
I have created a Partner Profile also a Receiver Port of type FILE.
I have Assigned Message type in Outbound Parameters.
I have assigned Receiver Port and Basic type under "Outbound Option".
I have Assigned Applications as 'V', Message type as 'Output Type' and Process Code under "Message Control".
When i am changing any Sales Order no IDOC is getting Triggered. I checked the Sales Order>Extras> Output> Header> Edit, the Output type is in Status RED with Message " No Partner Profiles (Message Control) Maintained".
Please guide me if i have missed any configs.
Help me solving this issue.
Thanks in Advance!
PriyabrataHi Priyabrata,
please try changing in your partner profile the application from V to V1. Another problem that's often causing the partner profile not to be found are the partner functions that are added automatically by SAP, but sometimes forgotten in the partner profile.
I don't have a SAP system at the moment, but as far as I remember the long text of the message indicates the partner profile parameters that SAP uses for the lookup.
If all of this doesn't help, I'd quickly debug this and see why SAP's not picking up the correct partner profile.

Message type US for ALE distribution
I want to create an outbound IDOC using ALE distribution.
I have to assign Partner type as 'US' - user. Can anyone give me some input. I got the error when trying to do the same
" No partner profiles (message control) maintained

create them manually.
Step by step will be helpfull.
ThanksHi Preethi,
You can use this program <b>RBDCUS15</b> to generate outbound partner profile.
Also you use distribution model (t/code BD64) as well.
Hope this will help.

Limitation on number of partner profiles
Hi,
I am working on SAP Retail implementation. As you know, in SAP Retail, we consider each store as customer and there will be seperate partner profile of type customer for each store. This is for integrating SAP with point of sale (store).
Since number of stores are more, around 1000, i feel it's not good solution to create 1000 partner profiles. Please let me know whether there is any alternative for this and also whether there is any limitation on number of partner profiles that we can create. There is no limitation for partner profile creation

Hi ,
In ALE/IDoc what is the significance of the partner type and why are there different partner types like Bank/Customer /Logical System e.tc.
What difference it makes if i create a partner profile as type<b> User</b> and use this to transfer material master details from one system to another , i feel generally it is said in such cases the partner must be of type Logical System.
Regards
ArunHi Nagesh ,
Thanks for the reply , i still have a query let me illustrate it with an example.
1) I make an RFC connection to the system i am working on.
2) Then create a port and set the RFC destination as the destination i created
3) Create a partner profile of type User.
4) Write a program to create an IDOC
Now when i execute the program , 2 idocs are created one outbound and the second inbound. But in the inbound idoc is shows an error that partner profile not available.
Not sure what can the error , as i have created the partner profile.
So my basic doubt was irrespective of the type of partner profile the idoc is created , so how does the processing differ based on the type of partner profile.

Same message type in different partner profiles in ALE
Hi,
I have a situation where we need to send an IDoc of message type ORDERS to two partners of type 'LS'. Configured partner profiles in WE20 and added message type for both the partners. Also configured the condition records. Now the question is how the system will know for particular vendors a particular partner 'LS' should be chosen? In condition records we don't have option to configure a vendor for a particular logical system.
Please advice.
Regards,
KrishnaFor Vendors, why are you using LS, u need to use LI.

Partner profile for message type.
Dear All,
I am using bapi in lsmw for data conversion.
I am getting error in 13th step of lsmw, ie, when I execute Start Idoc Generation, it's saying,
Create a partner profile for message type - MATERIALVALUATION_PRICECHANGE.
I already created a partner profile and assigned in the initial screen of lsmw.
Kindly let me know where I am missing.
Thanks in Advance,
RanjanSee if any of the follwing helps:
1. The port used in the partner profile should be a file port, not tRFC.
2. The checkbox 'Unicode Format' for the port LSMW in WE21 should remain unchecked.
