Partner profile not maintained error while testing inbound processing

Hi gurus,
I am trying to upload a customer master data using LSMW idoc method, I followed all the required steps and then I tried to test the inbound processing using T.code we19 and there i gave my basic type as debcor01 and I clicked on standard inbound test but it gives me an error which says partner profile is not maintained, but I have maintained the partner profile and assigned the same in LSMW. So anyone of you can please help me to solve this problem.

can anyone help us out to solve the following error while simulating inbound idoc.Error:58 " partner profile not maintained"
we tried with msg type CREMAS and DEBMAS.created partner profiles,rfc connection as procedural but same error results.

Please check in the receiver side if the partner profile is configured correctly.

Partner Profile not maintained - WE19

Hi! All
when I'm trying to test IDOC in WE19 its saying Partner Profile not maintained while clicking "Start inbound".
But I'm able to see the partner profile in WE20 with the created Message type and port.
whats wrong i have done.

Updated the Profile details to EDIDC.
after updating while click "Start outbound processing" it says
Doc 0000000000133004 was saved but cannot or should not be sent with waring symbol.

Partner profile not maintained

hi,
i am trying to create custom idoc.To trigger idoc i am using we19 instead of writing a program.now my problem is that we19 genrate idoc with error "Partner Profile not Maintained".Although i have create partner,port.but in we19 it is not showing any entry in partner number,partner typ.,and partner role.therfor it is giving this error.but i don't know how to put entry in this field.

Hi ,
It simply means that partner profile has not been maintained correctly.
Please check once again in WE20.
Also check once again all the steps required for successful IDoc creation, e.g creation of logical systems(ALE process), maintenance of customer distribution model etc.

EDI partner profile not maintained.

I am currently working on BI 7 and on trying to install ODS from BC its giving me error that

Can somebody please send me the documents on how to maintain EDI partner profile for transferring data from ODS to Infocube.

EDI partner profile is maintained using Tcode WE20.
YOu need to select LS (Logical System ) and your Source System.
And maintain Inbound and Outbound parameters here.
Check OSS Note 886102 - System Landscape Copy for SAP BW 2.X, 3.X and NW2004s BI
Step 6.8: Reactivate all partner profiles that carry the new logical system name after renaming
Execute Transaction WE20 to reactivate the partner profiles. Choose "Partner type LS (logical system)" enter the logical system name of the partner in tab "classification", change the partner status from "I" (inactive) to "A" (active) and save.

Error while testing Inbound INVOIC with we19

I want to test inbound invoic with we19.
I get now the mistake : external sender not avaiable (status 51) (translated from the german : Externer Sender wurde nicht angegeben).
I guess the INVOIC-Idoc ist correct.
Whal could it be?

Data Transfer(System Settings for Idoc Interface
Define Conversion of External Item Identification
Basic Settings for Document Transfer
Also check the partner profile and check if you have additional segments for item data. If yes then maintain it Document transfer from external system

503 Service not available error while testing web service in SOAMANAGER

51000 is the port when the j2ee engine runs. As you dont have java stack am afraid this would not work.

404 Not Found Error while testing INTEGRATION_DIRECTORY_HMI

Hi,
I am installing XI 3.0 SR1 on Win2000 sp4. I got struck at page 40 of installation guide trying to configure rfc destination INTEGRATION_DIRECTORY_HMI. I gave all the parameters as specified in the guide and clicked on "Test". I am getting the 404 Not Found error. The detalied error log is attached below. Can some one please let me know what could be the reason for the error?

It's hard for me to say not being able to see your system, but here are some things you can check:
- check link http://<xi_host>:<j2ee_port>/sap/monitoring/ComponentInfo
You should be able to see components like SAP_XITOOL, SAP_XIAF, SAP_XIAFC which would indicate that XI components are installed. You need role SAP_J2EE_ADMIN to access this.
- Using SDM, you can see what's currently deployed in the SDM repository for XI related components.
- Using Visual Admin, you can look for XI related services within the Server instance.
But in any case, try reinstalling the XI Java components (which is really what you're installing following the SR1 Installation Guide). If you run into problems during the installation and it's possibly due to already existing XI components, I would recommend, cleaning the slate and uninstalling the J2EE Add-in and starting again from the J2EE add-in part. Instructions for deleting the add-in are in the corresponding WebAS Java 6.40 <platform/db> install guide (in the last section - "Additional Information").
Regarding the central adapter engine, yes, this is installed automatically when you do the main installation of the XI Java components. Instructions in the SR1 guide specifically referring to the Adapter Engine are for a decentral adapter engine.

Error while creating inbound process code

Hi gurus,Iam creating a custom idoc.
800 -> sender
810 -> Receiver
i have completed outbound processing on 800.
On 810, completed following steps for inbound processing.
1.) I have added my Inbound FM in BD51.
2 ) Assigned my FM to Message type and Idoc type in WE57.
3 ) When adding my FM to process code in BD67, it is showing error that
Entry ZSATPC does not exist in TEDE2 - check your entry.
{ zsatpc is my custom process code }.
4) While Creating Process Code in WE42 with options [processing with ale service / Processing
by FM] and saving it is giving error that
" " is not a valid language.
And when I saw help (?) regarding this error, the following text appeared in a window.
Diagnosis
A key with language "" "" was specified for table "EDE2T". This is not a valid language.
This applies to field "LANGUA"
System Response
The system rejects the key.
Procedure
Enter a valid language. This is usually the language you logged on in.
You logged on in language "EN".
Table T002 contains a list of valid languages.
Please solve this error. Give me steps to create inbound process code.

Very peculiar. The language should come from your log on language. Try to login into the system again. Call we42 again and see if it works.

Error while testing Inbound Idoc

The error message "Interface for function Z***** is incorrect*." is shown while trying to test an incoming IDOC in we19.

The procedure followed by me was,

WE30 Created custom basic type,
we81 Custom message type,
se37 function module,

bd51,

we20,
Am not able to figure out why exactly is the error message being shown.

Standard program, RBDMOIND is scheduled or executed online to determine whether the communication was successful. If IDoc is Dispatched to destination system, RBDMOIND updates the status of the IDoc to 12 (Dispatched OK), Otherwise remains in status 03.

     RBDSTATE: It reports the status of the incoming IDocs to sending system, using ALEAUD message and ALEAUD01 IDoc
     RBDAUD01: It executed on sending system to analysis the audit log and display the output as a report

Error while posting Inbound Idocs-"EDI: Partner profile not available"

Hi,
I am getting the error "EDI: Partner profile not available" Status -56 while creating inboud Idocs.
I have done the following steps so far
1.Created IDOC basic Type and Message Type. (Custom)
2. Created process code to process the IDOC.
3. Use the FM IDOC_INBOUND_WRITE_TO_DB to create the inbound IDOC.
4. Use the FM IDOC_START_INBOUND to process the IDOC.
Is ther anything else that i have to do inorder to post the idoc sucessfully.

Hi,
Check in WE20 if the partner profile is configured for the idoc type and the message type. That might be the cause of the error.
Also make sure the same partner profile details are sent to the control record. Partner profile details are stored in the table EDP13.

Status 56 : EDI Inbound Partner Profile not available

I am trying to load an inbound 856 IDoc from EdI subsystem to SAP. It si giving me an error 56 saying Inbound partner profile not available.
I have set up the partner as Vendor in we20. Is there any other place that I need to set up the partner. We have inbound docs coming in as a customer(KU) but this is first vendor set up
Do you know what I am missing?
When I clicked on status message 56 -- says /ICPLPLIVA/LI/LF/DESADV///T/....key fields missing in EDP21? is the error really meant that?

"XML not well-formed" error while testing Interface mapping.

I have a simple Interface mapping test, where a single input field of type string is mapped to a target Interface.
The content of a string actually will be a XML. I am using a XSLT mapping to convert string XML to XML. The XSLT mapping used by me is as :

Hi check your XSLT mapping in XMLY spy with test data,the out of the XSLT Mapping should be valid XML , then only you can see output in interface mapping.

Partner profile not available while sending mail

I have used a customized program which is called by tcdoe va41, where once when i click on issue output to..
I need to send email to the customer, but i get a message that Partner profile not available.
