When trying to add my Partner Intune rights to my Microsoft Online services account, I get the error;
Note: your existing Microsoft Online Services account is not eligible for one or more partner benefits.

Does anybody know how to work around this?

Hi Mathew, this worked for me:
1. Sign into your Microsoft Partner account
2. Go to Orders & Benefits
3. Select Download Software
4. Click on Microsoft Online Services
5. Under MPN Online Services click Expand products
6. You should see Windows Intune click this
7. There is one final link to click
This should add you Intune licenses to your portal

Has anyone seen or dealt with this issue?
We are running SCCM 2012 R2 CU3 on Win 2008 R2 server and are having problems with our AI synch point where the Online Service Account is showing as not provisioned. It's on the CAS and it synched months ago so it *was* working.
Attempted to uninstall and reinstall thinking that may help, but no luck. Cannot locate anywhere to input an online service account or how to obtain one and we are not using a proxy to get out. Any help would be appreciated.

I did see the 403 in the logs and when I throw

Asset Intelligence Synchronization Point: Online Service Account is not Provisioned

Hello,
We are receiving the error:
Asset Intelligence Synchronization Point: Online Service Account is not Provisioned.
The CM server is a Windows 2012, CM 2012 SP1 & CU1, and SQL 2012. And I am not really sure what it maybe, SUP and our old WSUS server (soon to be retired)
talk to MS with out issue so I pretty sure it is not network related.

OK, fixed. We fixed it by whitelisting the primary site server on the proxy. Gerry Hampson suggested it here...

Microsoft Online Services Authentication option disabled in the OData Data Source for SSIS

I am attempting to use the new OData source for SQL Server 2012 (
http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=42280)
to access SharePoint Online data. I should be able to do so by selection the "Microsoft Online Services Authentication" option, but it seems to be disabled. Does anyone know how to enable it?

Hi!
We have fatal or critical error message on Microsoft Intune Portal but all agents are working just fine. Before opening support ticket we would like to hear comments from the experts on this forum. We would also like to fix this error before starting to
manage mobile devices with Intune.
Error message on Intune Portal:
"Microsoft Intune was unable to set the desired mobile device policy for one or more users due to the following error: A2CE0100"
Repeated: 19 times.
Class: (System) Policy
Random Fatal error message on C:\Program Files\Microsoft\OnlineManagement\Logs\PolicyAgent.log found from one Windows 8.1 client:
2015-02-21 08:49:20:704 2852 1ab0 FATAL: DocumentProvider::IndicateToConsumer/pp->ProcessPolicies(NULL, NULL, NULL, NULL) failed with error 0x800704d5.
That said, we are not facing any specific problem but we would like to find symptom of this repeating error message on Intune Portal . We would appreciate to get any thoughts about this case.

Microsoft Online Services Team notifications use 'alternate email address'

Could someone direct me to where I can log a 'feature request' or report what I actually consider to be a 'bug' in how Microsoft uses user profile information in Office 365? Maybe this is the right place...???
Anyway, it seems like a really bad choice to use the email address provide for the purpose of emergency account access (if you lose your password) for notifications about your Office 365 account.

If you forget your password, we will use this email to help you reset it and sign in to your Office 365 account.
So, for example, my wife works for a firm for which I am the Partner of Reference on their Office 365 account. My wife is the local admin for the firm's Office 365 account and has given her personal Yahoo email account for the above required 'alternate
email address'. So now, every time I get a notification about their account from the Microsoft Online Services Team, she gets a CC to her personal email account. This is not only illogical and annoying, but violates the stated purpose for providing the alternate
email address. That, in my opinion, make it a 'bug'.

Run MSOnline Module without installing Microsoft Online Services Sign-In Assistant

Hi guys,
I would to check if it is possible to run Azure Active Directory Powershell (MSOnline) without installation of
Microsoft Online Services Sign-In Assistant
Azure Active Directory Module for Windows PowerShell (64-bit version)
I'm coming from the point of application deployment where the objective is to reduce additional installation to the server and to package the DLL, PSD1 (if required) of the Azure AD Module and run it like a portable app.
Did anyone manage to do that?
i found the modules installed in one of my testing machine C:\Windows\System32\WindowsPowerShell\v1.0\Modules\MSOnline and i tried to run the module in a new server without any installation of those mentioned above, it gives Type Initialization error. I
believe it is caused by lacking of Microsoft Online Service Sign-In Assistant.
Where are the dlls stored for MS Online Sign-In Assistant so that i can try to copy to the new server and test?

No, it's done on the computer, it's just done on the web and not through iTunes. I guess you could do it on the iPhone, but it would be easier to do on the computer.
Just go to the site linked above, then click on the big blue button and fill out the neccessary information.

I am facing this error when compiling the orchestration.(#error "Errors exist for one or more children.") I manually then delete the line from the orchestration editor and compile again. Why is this error coming and how to fix the same.

I have 2 database servers"Primary database and physical standby" in test environment( before going to Production)
Before Dataguard broker configuration , DG setup was running fine , redo was being applied and archived on phy standby.
but while enabling configuration i got "Warning: ORA-16607: one or more databases have failed" listener.ora & tnsnames.ora are updated with global_name_DGMGRL
Please help me how can i resolve this issue .Thanks in advance.

As for Broker setup steps how about the doc or our Data Guard 11g Handbook?
It's 3 DGMGRL commands so I am not sure what 'steps' you need?

Exchange 2010 SP2 RU2 - Indexing backlog reached a critical limit of 48 hours or the number of items in the retry queue is greater than 10000 for one or more databases

We have been getting intermittent SCOM alarms for our Exchange 2010 MBX server citing "Indexing backlog reached a critical limit of 48 hours or the number of items in the retry queue is greater than 10000 for one or more databases"
I see events in EventViewer that SCOM is triggering on, but not whats generating the events or how else to test for them.

I also tried to check the Performance Viewer for the MSExchange Search Indexer and MXExchange Search Indices but am unsure which of the many metrics would indicate this issue.
We have had no reports of search issues from our users and have been unable to duplicate any impairment in our testing.
Does anyone else have any suggestions for tests to check or steps to take on this alert? Is it simply a false alarm or a timeout of other sorts during testing? We have 80 DAGs on this server (as well as all our servers, some of which have also reported the
same alert) and the Test-ExchangeSearch command times out before completely testing all DAGs.

Based on the error code, we can use the Services Microsoft Management Console (MMC) snap-in (services.msc) and the Local Security Settings MMC snap-in (secpol.msc) to view
the service configuration and the account configuration for Windows Installer service.

How to search all files in folders/subfolders for one or more strings?

I have a list of files (full path and file name) in Column D of my worksheet. I'm trying to figure out how to run some code to open each file in this array (starting on D14 and going down), search for one or more strings, and then put an "X"
in Column I, in the same row as the file name.
How can I do that?
I experimented with a few samples of code. It seems pretty easy to do it in one folder, but not all sub folders. The folder/subfolder is setup a specific way for a specific purpose.
Knowledge is the only thing that I can give you, and still retain, and we are both better off for it.

Below is an example that allow you to search a directory and its subdirs txt files(you can change this), read its lines and search for specific word:

Problem in material extension- material is blocked for one or more plant

Hi,
I am extending material from one plant to another plant but when i reach in accounting 1 deta system shows error material is blocked for one or more plant.
Message no. M3562
Diagnosis
You wanted to make a change in the material master record which requires that the master record is blocked in all plants.
A change of this kind includes, for example, the entry of a valuation type that allows single batch valuation, or changing of the batch management requirement if the batches have a cross-plant definition in your system.
System Response
The change required cannot be made until the material can be blocked by the current transaction in all plants
How to solve it. Please guide me..

From the error desc it appears you are making a change that has an impact on more than one plant. probably while extending you are trying to change a value for the new plant where the extension is being made.
make sure if this change is needed, its blocked in the plants for the field which has a diff value. you might have to modify the value of the field causing diff across the other plants also to make it uniform.
