Party Configuration

My scenario: SAP ECC -> SAP PI -> Web Service -> B2B Gateway
In SAP ECC we 20 the partner is created as V02 (same as B2B trading partner name) of type "SP". When the IDOC reaches PI it fails showing the error in moni as "Party and Service not defined".
I have read this blog /people/shabarish.vijayakumar/blog/2006/09/13/wanna-party and configured party and business service for the receiver and business service for ECC sender. But reprocessing the IDOC from we19 in ECC the message again fails in moni with the same error.
In the party configuration, I gave the following values:
Agency: SAP
Scheme: ALE#SP
Name: V02
I am doubting that my agency value is not right. Can it be any arbitrary value or should be related to ECC system/client name. Please help.

Now I have configured a party named TP_V02. Created a business component called TP_V02_B2B in it. Then in the party configuration added the Agency=TP_V02_B2B, Scheme=ALE#SP and Name=V02. This is for receiver system.
For sender I created a business component without party and called it SAPVDO and added adapter specific identifiers where logical system I have given as SAPVDO.
I am still getting the error in moni as Party and Service not defined.

Where is SAML Relying Party configuration stored?

We are successfully configuring SSO using SAML 1.1 using either the console or WLST scripts. We have 3 different Relying Parties and everything works great. However, after restarts, our Relying Parties are gone! I assume that WLST and console both are updating the Mbean behind the scenes, but where does the SAML Relying Party configuration get persisted since we are not using the RDBMS store. Internal LDAP? An XML file? I can't find it documented anywhere.

The StationGlobals.ini file is in your TestStand Config directory, which is found at <TestStand Application Data>\Cfg.
On Windows 7, this is C:\ProgramData\National Instruments\TestStand 4.2\Cfg. I don't remember off-hand what the exact path is on versions of Windows earlier than Vista... Somewhere under C:\Documents and Settings\<Username>\. You can just search for StationGlobals.ini if you need to.

ADFS Taleo Relying Party Configuration

I'm trying to configure Oracle Taleo as a relying party for AD FS and the AD FS as identity provider for Taleo.
AD FS Configuration
I have uploaded XML Taleo federation metadata in relying party configuration wizard and everything seems correct. I have created claim-rules to return email address in Name ID attribute with unspecified format.
Taleo Configuration
When I try to sign in, browser is correclty redirected to AD FS, AD FS returns a SAML response containing email address in name ID attribute (logged with Fiddler), but Taleo returns Internal Server Error 500.
Do you see anything wrong in this configuration? IdP identifier? Authentication URL? and more important the certificate: it is possible to select only one certificate, so which certificate should be uploaded SSL, token encryption or token deryption? in which
format? binary base 64?
I'm trying to troubleshoot this error since one week also with Taleo support, but we didn't find anything. If you have already configured Taleo or you have any idea, let me know.

Error FED-15131 Certificate was missing when trying to verify digital signature.
The problem is related with certificates, because we have uploaded several certificates and now I think Taleo is not able to find the right one. Since all errors are related to signing certificates maybe I have to select this one.

Under Sender Agency; put <your Business Service / System / Comm. Comp name>; example XID_112 or whatever
Under Sender Schema; put ALE#KU; if your Partner type of Sender is KU in WE20
This combination will derive the sender Party.
Similarly you can put the receiver boxes if you want to de-normalise and derive the receive party name.

XI : Party configuration

Hi all,
I am configuring a scenario using IDOCS. I'm using program RSEINB00 to read my flat file and transfert it to the proper scenario. It works fine. The problem I have is I am receiving other idocs with different partner numbers with same scheme and I can't add them to my party because the scheme is the same.
Exemple A: 1 Idoc
Agency       Scheme         Name
TEST1         ALE#LI#LF    123                     <--- works fine
Exemple B : 2 Idoc
TEST1         ALE#LI#LF    123
TEST1         ALE#LI#LF    456                    <---- cant add to party TEST1
Do I need to create a new party so I can process a different partner using the same scheme for the same scenario? Is there way to make it generic (not specifie the partner) so every time it sees ALE#LI#LF it sends it to my scenario?

EDI X12 Party configuration

I receive a error while processing a file with ISA 11 field as ^ and *T*>~GS* (>) before GS.
Please let me know what configuration should i do to avoid this.
In party i have alredy configured these values but still the error occurs.
Error: 2 (Field level error)
SegmentID: ISA
Position in TS: 1
Data Element ID: ISA11
Position in Segment: 11
Data Value: ^
7: Invalid code value.
The sequence number of the suspended message is 1.

Then there's a mismatch between the Agreement and what the Trading Partner is sending.
Are you sure you set the correct Agreement to interpret ISA11 as the Repetition Character and not the Standards Identifier?
This setting is on the Envelopes section of the Them->You tab of the agreement.
Also, you should disable the Fallback Settings in case the problem is actually Agreement resolution.

Incident Search helps relations between Sold-to Party & Configuration Item

Hi experts,
Can someone help me to know what is the best approach for the following scenario:
When I select de Sold-to Party e.g (BP 70), then when I try to use the search help for "Configuration item" it should filter only for my BP, but this is NOT happening. The result that is showing are all items of all BP's.
How can I modify the BOL Object "Product" Search help or I have to create a "Z".
Is this the correct approach?

In get v method of configuration item put below logic.

check is_search_help is not initial and is_search_help-selopt is not initial.

check <fs_selopt>-shlpfield = 'BP_ID'.
lv_bpid = <fs_selopt>-low.
endloop.
Now you have your sold to party id in lv_bpid.
now write the logic to fetch configuration items based on sold to party id and fill ct_results_tab which will your output searchhelp.

Not Able to add custom values in UNB 2.2 of Edifact Party configuration in BizTalk Server 2010

HI All,
i am facing a peculiar problem in BizTalk 2010. i am using EDIFACT as EDI and created a party for the customer and agreement too. it was working fine before with custom UNB2.2 value as "ZZ". something has happened after deploying the new solution
with changes in the test server receiving error as
Error: 1 (Field level error)
SegmentID: UNB
Position in TS: 1
Data Element ID: UNB2.2
Position in Segment: 3
Position in Field: 2
Data Value: ZZ
12: Invalid value in data element.
The sequence number of the suspended message is 1.
when i checked the agreement i didnt find the ZZ in drop down list of UNB2.2 . can you please suggest how can i get ZZ in the drop down list of UNB2.2 .

Third party sale - Realtime configuration experience

Could you share your experience in connection with Third party sale configuration during realtime?
In other words, for 3rd party sale configuration -
1) Did you (SD consultant) configure it in SAP together with a MM consultant?
2) What tasks / areas did you cover and what did the MM consultant cover?
3) The prices to pay to the third party by the company (your client), who configured it (you or MM consultant)?
4) Any other realtime issues, learnings in connection with third party configuration process?
Please note - I am not asking for the "technical" steps (e.g. BANS, TAS, CS, Purchase org., ME11, ME01 etc.)

Yes. It has to be configured with help / co-operation from MM side.

SD Consultant - All SD related config like Sales Doc type, item Category (most important Billing relevance), Schedule Line Category (activaton of creation of PR), Copy Control between Order & Invoice & Procing Procedure.
3) The prices to pay to the third party by the company (your client), who configured it (you or MM consultant)?
You mean for payment to Vendor - it is purely MM Configuration right from Creation of PO from PR, Statistical MIGO (if Required) & MIRO (Purchase Invoice).
4) Any other realtime issues, learnings in connection with third party configuration process?
My most important learning was Billing Relevance settting in SD Item Cateogry. (I mean you can control in SD, whether the Sales Invoice is to be created on basis on Statistical MIGO or MIRO)...
The above question & answers are too generic. Kindly let us know any specific qiestions you have.

Third party Remittance

If the client does not want to create any vendor in FI for payments to various parties then:
1-3rd party configuration is not needed and all the WT will be posted to various GL accounts? will that work?
2- if so ,what impact will it have on PR and FI results?

If your client does not want to create vendors, then just post the results of the various wagetypes to FI through "FI posting" and see your results on the FI side in t-code FB03. Then it is the responsibility of the finance people to take care of those $ amounts.

Unable to determine XI party

Hi,
I'm still trying to implement an IDoc to RosettaNet scenario. It seems to work fine until the last step, the sending of the PIP message. In Message Monitoring I get the following error.
Delivering to channel: PIP3B2_V0100_Shipper_Send_AdvanceShipmentNotification
Error Unable to determine XI party '. ' party not configured for party schema DUNS, party agency 016
Error occurred in CPA Facade processing. - Could not find party configuration for Party\=;PartySchema\=DUNS;PartyAgency\=016. - Party found to be null or empty : Could not find party configuration for Party\=;PartySchema\=DUNS;PartyAgency\=016.
The communication channel (type rnif adapter, receiver) belongs to party "TestParty" which has a duns specified. But it seems the system is looking for another party or duns? I have no idea where. It also doesn't make any difference whether I fill in something in tab identifiers of the communication channel or not.
I'll reward points for any helpful answer.

How to use pre-defined scenarios for RosettaNet with XI 3.0

   I am working in Comgroup Shanghai co. ltd. which is partner of SAP China.
   We have a potential customer who use RosettaNet as their Supply Chain EDI system.
   I would like to make a demo for demostrate the pre-defined scenarios for RosettaNet RNIF 2.0 packages.
   Where can I find such guideline ? I have checked the article: implementing RosettaNet with XI 3.0, but it cannot help me.
   Another question is how I can develop my own scenarios for the RNIF standards which are not included in XI RosettaNet business package ?

See the instructions below after you installed the RosettaNet STK.
Below given is the sample config for PIP3B2 Scenario. Part I is using STK and Part II is using 2 XI systems.
<b>Part I. Test Using STK</b>
In your XI ID:
1) Define both the parties 1) Shipper(Your Partner) 2) Receiver(Your company) with identifiers like DUNS Number.
2) In ID goto>Tools>Transfer Integration Scenarios from IR-->select the scenario "PIP3B2_Receiver" from the drop down list.
3) Follow the 4 steps in the config wizard.
4) While creating your CC, create it from the channel template delivered with the RosettaNet BP.
   4.1) Specify the URL for STK which should be in the following format
http://<STK Server>:<port>/rosettanet/servlet/listenerServlet?userId=<Party Name>
   4.2)In the location fields, enter your location and your partner location.
In your STK
1) Start the RosettaNet STK.
2) enter the UserID<Partner Name in XI>
3) Select the Test Scenario, 3B2V01.01-AdvanceShipmentNotification-0001-Scenario-Shipper
4) Enter Global Business ID(DUNS Number) and Location ID for both the partners. These fields should be same as in your R/3 Party configuration.
5) Enter the URL as follows:
http://<XI Server:<J2EE_Port>/MessagingSystem/receive/RNIFAdapter/RNIF
If everything is configured correctly as mentioned, you should be able to test your single-action scenario.
<b>Part II Test using another XI System</b>
For these follow the steps above for XI Config.
Configure one XI System as PIP3B2 Shipper using the Scenario "PIP3B2_Shipper" and config wizard as mentioned above.
Configure the other XI as PIP3B2 Receiver using the scenario "PIP3B2_Receiver" and config wizard.
In the Url field, specify the URL as follows:
http://<XI host>:<J2EE_Port>/MessagingSystem/receive/RNIFAdapter/RNIF

PB Al 15" won't display to Dell 2001FP via DVI

After hooking up a Dell 2001FP display to my PowerBook Al 1.5Ghz/15" via DVI, the external display displays nothing. The Mac senses the display per Monitors system preference and Apple System Profiler but nothing is output to the display. I'm using Dell's bundled DVI cable (which appears to be a DVI-D single link, per http://www.comsol.com.au/dvi.asp). DVI works just fine via PB G4 1.5Ghz/12".
As a workaround, the VGA is working fine from the PowerBook to this display. I'd really, really much rather use DVI. Is there any way to get this PB Al 15" to work via DVI to the Dell 2001FP? Possibly via some different kind of cable?
Scanning the Apple forums didn't get me a direct answer. I vaguely remember something unique about the 15" DVI with certain third party configurations.

Another thing to try is to change the ends of the DVI-D cable. I too am using the included cable that came with my Dell display and it works just dandy. Obviously if it works with your 12" PowerBook then the problem is with the 15" PowerBook.
It is possible that the 15" is trying to display at a setting that your display can't handle. What you can do is to open the Displays System Preference, click on the Gather Displays button and try different settings. Make sure you start at a 60Hz refresh rate.
To be honest it's a bit weird that you're having a problem because it, as I'm sure you're aware, should just work.
