Party in integration directry

Hi...All,
i am new to B2B scenarios, in integration directry when we r creating the party , what are all the fields we have mention in this.. under party we want to create business services, how we will create the business services.pls explain me...i am doing RFC-SOAP scenario, for this scenario how many business services are required.
regards,
PASI

Hi,
systems in the SLD are defined as technical systems.
If you want to use such a system in XI you create for such a technical a business system and import this in the Integration Directory.
If you want to use a system that is not defined in the SLD you create for it a business service in the Integration Directory.
So to answer your questions:
>for creating the business services not required for any SLD settings, am i correct
Yes you are correct.
> for creating the business services any technical system are required
Not in the SLD, but it's also explained here:

    Hi,
<i>1)h ow can we delete the integration scenario from integration directry</i>
First you need to delete all objects under Integration scenario, or just right click on each object under IS click on remove from scenario, after doing all like these , ensure that no object under IS, now ,you can delete IS by right click.
    <i>2)how u attach alert to system</i>
You have to create the Alert in RWB by Alert configuratio, or in R3 instance tc. ALRTCATDEF to create an Alert.
<i>3)how can we copy the objects from one name space to another</i>
Just right click on object and click on copy object and change the source SWCv and namespace
<i>4)how many namespaces are there ? what is the diffrence</i>
    Not clear..
    5) what is multicast?
Message sending to multiple receivers and at the same time requesting the response from these multiple receivers..

  • Third Party Billing Integration

Are there any guidelines for 3rd party billing integration?

    No it doesn't.
The intent of integrating with a 3rd party SSO system is for the 3rd party system to authenticate the user before the request even gets to the SSO server. So, in general, the SSO authentication process is able to obtain the user's identity from the environment, and it doesn't need to perform any verification itself.
In the case where the SSO server is not able to obtain the user's identity from the environment, it will fallback onto its configured authentication mechanism, so typically, the repository that the 3rd party SSO system uses, and the repository on which the SSO server does its own verification, should be one and the same.
The SSO server could use external authentication if necessary as well to access the same repository.
In general though, if the 3rd party SSO system, say Netegrity Siteminder, doesn't allow the request to pass to the ls_login URL until it has successfully authenticated the user, then the ls_login code will always be able to obtain the identity from the request and will never call it's own verification logic, thereby making the configured backend authentication irrelevant.

  • Docus about  3rd-party defined integration scenario: SAP Web AS u2013 SAP NW

    Hi all,
we have an SAP integration solution which we want to get certified. We are interested in the third-party defined integration scenario: u201ESAP Web AS u2013 SAP Netweaver Application Serveru201C as similar products have this certification. Where can we find technical details/documents about this certification. Is there any sample scenario for this certification that we can use as a template.
Thank you in advance for your help.

  • Business Service Without Party in Integration Scenrio Configurator

    Hi everybody
I am stucking in a small issue but do not found a related thread.
Can anybody explain me, why I cannot assign a "Business Service" of typ "Service without Party" to an Application Component? I am try to configure my integration Process and call in the directory Tools --> Transfer Integration Scenario from Integration Repository. In the following Configurator I can only assign Business Systems from SLD or Services with a Party depending on the settings of the Application Component in the Repository (Flag "External Party with B2B Communication"). If you configure the scenario manually it is possible to involve Business Services without party. But I would like to make use of the Wizard and my Customer has a lot of Systems maintained as Business services.
    Any suggestions?
    Regards Oliver

    Hi,
I have not done this type of task before.. but from the given links
see the below information was in the above first link
The following steps are then only required if the application component has at least one connection to a B2B component.
           3.      On the Business Services for B2B tab page, enter the business service that you want to use for B2B communication.
The integration process service that is already entered on the  Integration Process Service for A2A tab page is then assigned to this business service.
    B2B Component...
           1.      On the Business Services for B2B tab page, assign the business services.
Use the input help () to select the business services.
           2.      If you want to create a new business service, choose Create Business Service ().
To assign multiple services simultaneously, choose Input Help () in the toolbar of the table (only when assigning business services and business system services).

  • 3rd party adapter integration into XI

    Dear Experts
I wanted to know how 3rd party adapters are integrated into XI?

    Hi Dheer,
There many third party adapters available in market.
    One example is seeburger:
U need to follow the below steps for integration into XI:
For the same requirement you need to follow the below steps:
    1) First deploye the Std seeburger mapping provided by see burger on XI
    2) If you are using the AS2 adapter then you have to install the AS2 server on XI server.
    3) Once you install the std seeburger on SAP XI server you will see the AS2,X400,OFTPS,VAN adapter on XI ID.
    5) You need to call the std mapping in the adapter module which does the conversion from EDI to XML and XML to EDI.
if u need process then let me know I will send u the configuration threads which is required for integration.

    Brief about seeburger:
Seeburger adapters like OFTPS,AS2,X400 are used for B2B scenario where the file is coming through WAn network or mailbox. As XI dont have capability to convert the EDIFACT format file to XML the same work will be done by seeburger adapters.
The SEEBURGER Business Integration Converter (BIC) is an any-to-any format converter, used to translate EDI data and legacy data formats into XML and vice versa. It can also be used for complex, high performance XML-to-XML mappings or to interface to existing JDBC data sources.
    Supported EDI formats include:
    • ANSI
    • EDIFACT
    • INHOUSE
    • IDOC
    • XML Schema
    • XML DTD
    • CSV
    • Delimited Data
    • positional data
    • SWIFT
    • EANCOM
    and many more.
See for converting the EDI XML to EDI and XML-EDI you need to have a seeburger mapping program at the adapter module which does the conversion. For this module you need a BIC tool of seeburger which provides the different module program for EDI to XML and XML-EDI. This program needs to be deployed on XI and through adapter it has to be called for conversion.

  • Best way to perform third party app integration in version 4.6

I am working with a third-party vendor offering a freight and transportation rate software (Bourque Rateserver and Railtrac).
From our 4.6 system, we need to perform relatively simple remote SQL statements (inserts, call stored procs, reads).  We attempted to code these operations with EXEC SQL abap statements, but ran into permissions problems on the remote system.  We do not want to deploy middleware (XI, other EAI tools).  Can anyone provide thought on the best way to develop this simple integration?

    Hi Robert,
We have a very similar requirement... to call a stored procedure on Borque RAILTRAC system to get the Rail Freight Rate at the time of creating a Sales Order. Can you please give me more details on how you have implemented the call to the stored procedure and how the RFC connection is established? Thanks a lot.

  • 3rd party payment integration with ADF application

    Hi ADF experts,
We have a requirement to integrate our ADF application with 3rd party payment gateway.
For this we have created 2 servlets(one to post data, and one for relay response) which will talk to payment gateway.
Since we are using servelts, we wont have access to bindings or any of ADF features. We manage the handshake between servlets and ADF app by passing data through session variables.
I am not happy with this solution, even though it works in our test environment. I would prefer a complete ADF soultion rather than using servelts/jsps.
Is there a standard way(either inbuilt in ADF or extensions) to integrate 3rd party gateway with ADF application which is safe and secure?
    Jdev used: 11.1.1.1.5
    Payment gateway used: authorize.net
    thanks
    -Venkat

You can access adf application module from a servlet. All you have to do its to setup a pagedef for the servlet.Check out my blog http://tompeez.wordpress.com/2011/12/16/jdev11-1-2-1-0-handling-imagesfiles-in-adf-part-3/ Which shows how to do this.
I'm not aware of standard integration to a payment service.

  • Third party POS Integration with SAP IS-Retail

    Hi,
I want to Integrate SAP ERP (Retail) system with a third-party POS system Using PI.
Could you please describe me what are the inbound and Outbound IDOC is used to integrate POS system.
Please Give me the IDOC name with functional details.

Outbound will depend on the POS system requirements and the master data maintained in ERP.
I have seen as the primary outbound (article and price) either of these:
IDoc WBBDLD03 = The Assortment List Material Data IDoc
    and more commonly

  • Real Time Third Party Software Integration

I posted this in the PI forum and it was suggested to post it here as well.  I am new to SAP but have worked with PeopleSoft and MS Dynamics AX for several years.  My company is implementing FI/CO and our partner is telling us that we will interface our third party application via flat files that are scheduled.  We are use to running in a real time environment so this is a little hard to swallow.
Here is an example of what I am trying to do:
Our third party software will be the starting point for customers. When a new customer is created we need to create that customer in SAP as well (for use with AR). Currently we open a connection to the existing financial application, verify that the customer does not exist and insert the data into the table.
We all agree that we do not want to write directly to the SAP table(s).
What we would like to do is when the user saves the record in the third party app, open a connection to SAP, pass the data to the BAPI, wait for a return code then complete the transaction.
The third party application is written in PowerBuilder 11 and is able to connect to most any database, talk .Net, and call external API's.
Please advise if this is possible and if so, a link to an example would be great.
    Thanks,
    Scott

You may use RFC protocol to connect to SAP system. You download RFC library from download center and install it on your third-party system.

  • Difference between party and service without party

    Hi all,
Please tell me the difference between Service and Service without party  and also let me know what is Business system, Business service and Integration process.
    regards,
    sudha

    Hi Sudha
    <u><b>Party</b></u>
Party is used to represent a Business Partner (doesnt belong to the current landscape) which is defined in B2B Scenarios. So All the systems/services accociated with the Party are referred only as Services.
    <u><b>Service without Party</b></u>
It is used to represent any service within the landscape and is used in A2A communication.
    Check the Threads for reference...

  • What is the significance of Party and Service without Party in ID? Help!

    Hi Experts,
I often get confused with the Party and Service without Party in Integration directory. What is the difference between these two? When to use Party and When to use Service without party?
    Kindly help!
    Thanks
    Gopal

    Hi,
you need to use a party when you want to change some header fields
of your XI message (when communicating in B2B scenarios for example)
with party you can also use IDOC partner profiles other then LS
    (like LI, VN)
but in most cases in A2A scenarios you never use the party object
