Party Records

Hello,
I need to create Party Records for Trade Management.
These are the values with which I call the API Hz_cust_account_v2pub.Create_cust_account
Orig_system_Reference,Customer_name,Category
This creates a record in Hz_cust_accounts. Whereas when I create a party from the Trade Management (from the application). It doesn't create a record for customer accounts.
Is there an API to create only the Party record?

try HZ_PARTY_V2PUB.CREATE_ORGNIZATION API to create only the Party of type Organization.
or HZ_PARTY_V2PUB.CREATE_PERSON API to create a party of type Person

Sir i wish to maintain subcontracting record .How to maintain this record in standard SAP ?

Is a third party recording my skype conversation?

I was having a video conversation on skype yesterday and the words "Creative" appeared on my skype screen...this has never happened to me before and the person with whom I was speaking did not initiate this. Could this mean that someone is recording or viewing my skype conversation?

I've been using 3rd party recording devices for a long time, and suddenly my audio files are just now going crazy. When I try recording we are speaking over each other on the recordings. I've tried downloading almost all the recommended 3rd party recording devices listed here https://support.skype.com/en/faq/FA12395/how-can-i-record-my-skype-calls but nothing is working properly.
Callnote, MP3 Skype Recorder, iRecorder, iFree Skype Recorder, G-Recorder and a few others are just not working.
Is anyone successfully recording their audio from skype to phone conversations? Please help. I'm loosing money and need to resolve this immediatly.

How to copy organization / party in HZ

Is there any API that would help me to copy one party record into another new? I am not worried about the customer accounts inside party, just need to copy party and attributes and relationships.
Is there way HZ_PARTY_V2PUB. CREATE_ORGANIZATION or hz_cust_account_v2pub.create_cust_account can be helpful here to accept existing party_id and create new party?

Copying Inventory organization, copies only the following:
When you copy an organization, you specify what setup data to copy to your new organization, including:
a)Organization definition
b)Shipping networks
c)Hierarchy assignments
d)Bills of material and bills of material parameters
e)Departments, resources, and routings
f)Items and item attributes
The Subinventory, Locator, WIP Parameters, WIP accounting classes, Planning Parameters, and Shipping Parameters data from your model organization are
always copied along with the other setup data select. You will be able to change the costing method. But it has to be done before entering transactions.

Bill to party should be pulled from ship to party.

I have scenario in which I want to pull bill to party from ship to party and not from sold to party in sales order. Business requirement have one sold to party say A . This sold to party has 4 ship to party say B,C,D,E. Every ship to party has one Bill to party respectively say L,M,N,O. This scenario is only for one customer and not for all. When ship to is entered in the sales order it should give options to select the bill to party .
I want to know the config steps alongwith the name of the user exit (if it is required for)

Before answering this question, I would like to thank Lakshmipathi for his compliment and James for this interesting scenario.
Lets say your new ship to parties are 90 & 91.
Lets say your new bill to parties are 110 & 111.
So your new requirement is when you enter ship to party 90 or 91, bill to party 110 or 111 has to be determined from sold to party.
Am I correct? That's how I understood your question(If this is not you are not looking for, please advise).
In case yes, you could do the following.
In your sold to party record, partners Tab, enter the details of your new ship to parties and bill to parties.
In sales order, enter ship to party and system would pop a box listing bill to parties. You can select one of the bill to parties.
Once selected, system would populate sold to party record field.
This is happening because when you enter ship to party record in sales order, system accesses sold to party from ship to party. Once it accesses sold to party, it lists bill to parties available in this sold to party record.

Recording distortion with IDT audio codec

I have 3 DV7s (2x 7250us, 1x 7259us). They all have the IDT codec (6.10.6418.0) installed. Using Windows Sound Recorder, recordings are badly distorted (sounds like old Single Side Band, but worse). I have tried the various versions of the codec and have reinstalled the previously referenced version to no avail. Recording is virtually useless. I have tried 3rd party recording software... useless. I have tried external mikes. Same results.
I need a codec that I can record with.

Hi Curt2020, welcome to the HP Forums. I suspect with multiple notebooks doing the same thing, that it is probably performing properly. I do not know of a CODEC that will improve your recording performance. I have found a few pages with various tips which may help.

Pamela Record issue

Hi. my Pamela recording software doesn't want to record my audio skype calls anymore, any ideas on why this is happening please? thanks!

Due to a bug in the Skype API (used by application like Pamela to communicate with the Skype application), any 3rd party recording application is unable to detect when a Skype call starts and stops. The Skype API does not provide this information in the latest Skype 6.22 or 7.0 for Windows application. To resolve this issue, please downgrade by installing Skype 6.21. After you have done this, Pamela will work normally again. Download Skype 6.21 from here: http://download.skype.com/msi/SkypeSetup_6.21.0.104.msi After installing, disable automatic updates in Skype: https://support.skype.com/en/faq/FA12096/how-do-i-turn-off-automatic-updates-in-skype-for-windows-desktop We've been working with Skype on getting this fixed and we're happy to say that this issue has already been resolved. Peer 2 Peer Recording

Hi,
I've been asked to look into possible call recording solutions for internal Lync calls (Audio only). We already have a recording solution and I'm looking at ways that we could integrate Lync calls into this. We can already record lync calls which go through
the edge server to the PSTN.
What we were hoping to do was to route the call out using an MSPL script to a UCMA application which would then forward the audio onto our recording platform. After reading various articles would I be correct in saying that this isn't currently possible
as the audio will always go point to point and this cannot be changed?
If this is the case then, would I be right in thinking the only way around this would be to forward the call using an MSPL script to a UCMA application which then turns the call into a conference and then forwards the audio onto our recording platform? Can
the audio be forwarded on from this point or does this have to be recorded as a physical file at this point by the UCMA application?
Any help advice would be most appreciated.

Generally yes, for any recording solution using UCMA (as opposed to a packet inspection type solution) you'll need to redirect the call using MSPL to a UCMA application, and use a BackToBackCall to connect it to a conference.
At this point, you can do a number of things. You can record the audio to a WMA file using the UCMA Recorder class, or you can join a SIP endpoint belonging to a third-party recording solution to the conference and let that solution take care of recording.

N80 FM-Radio recording

Anybody trying to do this?
I've done, but with no results. Try record to SD-card at least ordinary FM-music without visual service - N80 will reboot.
Trying: Psiloc Extended Recorder, Alon MP3 Dictaphone, etc. ...
I understand: may be one third-party recorder has a bug, but when all simultaneously? Firmware (4. ***) bug - to my mind.
I've not tested a bundled Recorder: 20 s - is not a song, am I right?
By the way, any MP3-player with flash and FM-Radio (about $30) can do it excellent and without any problems.
May be this is the war against piracy ?

I guess it wasn't something Nokia felt many people would want. They have made a phone for most peoples tastes so you can't shoot them for missing something like that off. I'm sure there are many applications that you can download that will enable you to record radio. Try a quick google and see what it comes up with.

Creative Smart Recorder WON'T REC

I've just installed Audigy SE on Windows Vista, ran Creative Smart Recorder and instead got this message:
"There is no audio device available on the system. The application will no close."
Matter of fact, none of the third party recording programs will record anything even when I select SoundBlaster Audigy as the input source. How does one even begin to troubleshoot something like that ?

I had the same problem and found a solution after hours and hours. Clicking on the smart media icon in the start menu (right mouse button), choosing "attributes" and than "compatibility", choosing windows xp (which is not installed an my computer). after that it worked right away. my system is in German, so I hope my translation of the menu is okay.

Recording for Cisco IP Phones and Cisco C90 Codec

We are looking for a solution that is capable to record both Cisco IP Phones and Cisco Codec C90.
We are using CUCM 9.X for IP Phones and VCS 7.X for Cisco Codecs.
Is their any third party solution available for both the requirements or do i have to go with TCS and any other third party recording solution.

My reply may be too late to be of any help to you, but for the benefit of others:
Be sure you understand the different types of PoE out there. The Linksys PoE switch only supports the newer IEEE 802.3af PoE standard.
The 7940, 7960, 7905 and other older Cisco phones only support Cisco pre-standard PoE and thus will not work with the 802.3af Linksys Switch.
To use this switch, you will need to make sure you are using the newer 7070, 7961, 7941 phones with support both pre-standard and 802.3af PoE.
