Comment faire apparaitre le menu d'options d'aperçu dans Camera RAW 8.4 sous MAC pour comparer les états avant et après traitement d'un fichier RAW ?

Moi non plus je n'arrive pas à gérer les paramètres de couleurs dans Bridge (par le menu Edition>Paramètres de couleurs Creative Suite). Le message est toujours le même :
"Suite Color Management n'est pas activé
Suite Color Management nécessite qu'un produit remplissant les conditions requises ait déjà été exécuté au moins une fois pour que cette fonction puisse être activée."
Quelqu'un a-t-il trouvé la solution depuis les derniers posts svp ?
Je précise que j'ai essayé les techniques évoquées :
• réinstallation de l'ensemble de la suite CS6
• suppession du cache de Bridge
• ouvrir Bridge après avoir ouvert Illustrator et/ou InDesign
• Gérer les autorisations sur le fichier comme le propose Adode sur le lien http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-suite/kb/error-suite-color-management-enabled.html
Sinon existe t-il d'autres solutions pour synchroniser les couleurs sur l'ensemble de la suite Adobe, sans passer par Bridge, et sans le paramétrer un à un dans chaque logiciel ?

Je sais que cette question a déjà été posées maintes et maintes fois sur le net, mais n'ayant pas trouvé de réponse(s), je pose la question sur le forum d'Adobe; il y a peut-être une chance que j'ai une réponse.
Alors voilà mon problème : quand je suis sur Bridge (que Photoshop est ouvert) et que je fais un clic droit sur une image (quelque soit son extension) > ouvrir dans Camera Raw, ou quand je vais dans Edition > Préférences Camera Raw, j'ai le message suivant :
"La modification à l'aide de Camera Raw n'est pas activée.
La modification à l'aide de Camera Raw nécessite l'exécution préalable d'un produit adapté pour que cette fonction puisse être activée."
J'ai bien pensé tout désinstaller pour réinstaller, mais dans les divers messages lus sur le web, j'ai vu que ça n'avait pas servi.
Alors, j'arrive à ouvrir mes images sous Camera Raw via Photoshop (je fais Fichier > Ouvrir sous, puis je choisis Camera Raw comme type), mais je voudrais pouvoir le faire, non pas via Photoshop, mais via Bridge.
Sinon, toujours dans Bridge (je ne sais pas si c'est lié mais), j'ai découvert qu'en faisant Édition > Préférences de couleurs Creative suite, j'avais un message similaire suivant :

Est-ce quelqu'un (d'Adobe ou... peu importe) aurait une idée pour régler ce(s) problème(s) ?
Y-a-t-il des choses que je n'ai pas installé et que j'aurais dû ? En effet, bien qu'ayant la Créative suite, je n'ai pas installé tous les logiciels (comme Dreamweaver, Audition, After effect ou je ne sais quoi d'autre) et extensions.

My NEF files used to open in camera raw 8.6 but now go straight to photoshop CS6? I don't have the option to edit them in camera raw? Help

The"Auto Mask" option of Adjustment Brush in Camera Raw

In Camera Raw, I saw the "Auto Mask" option at the bottam of all the slides of Adjustment Brush, what is this option for?
When you halt your mouse in this option, it prompts that it is for adjusting the sensitivity of brush's edge, but I don't understand what does it mean exactly.

Be able to inform the personal metadatas from the beginning / pouvoir renseigner ses propres métadonnées dans Camera-Raw

Camera-raw est un très bon outil, mais il est dommage qu'on ne puisse être utilisé pour renseigner ses propres métadonnées.
Peut-être que certains travaillent comme moi.
Avant toute chose, j'ouvre mes photos (enregistrées uniquement en Raw) sous Camera-raw pour effectuer un premier travail d'analyse (par groupe de +- 30 vues à la fois)
- vérification une par une en taille réelle et élimination des photos non satisfaisantes techniquement ou en doublon...
- application de quelques corrections globales (objectif...)
- une par une, correction éventuelle des densités et de la colorimétrie...
Me manque la possibilité d'ajouter des métadonnées (ce que je fais actuellement sous Bridge) :
- en global, copyright et lieu de prise de vue
- et spécifiquement des mot-clefs...
- le faire sous Camera-raw permettrait de gagner beaucoup de temps !
Je ne fais rien de plus - pas de passage en jpg . Lorsque je veux exploiter une photo je l'ouvre sous Photoshop et si je dois la retravailler (...recadrage p.ex.) je l'enregistrai alors sous .psd
Lightroom ne me sert qu'à retrouver, via les mots-clefs, une collection parmi mes 75 000 photos réparties sous 3 disques et 5 Terabit.

Camera-raw is a very good tool, but he is it's a pity that we cannot use it to inform our own metadatas.
Maybe that some work as me.
Before anything else, I open my photos ( recorded only in Raw) under Camera-raw to make a first work of analysis (in groups of + - 30 views at the same time)
- Check one by one in real size and elimination of the not satisfactory photos technically or in double ...
- Application of some global corrections (lens...)
- One by one, possible correction of the densities and the colorimetry...
Misses me the possibility of adding metadatas (what I'm doing at present under Bridge) :
- In global, copyright and place of shooting
- And specifically keys-words ...
- To make it under Camera-raw would allow to save a lot of time !
I make nothing more - no passage jpg. When I want to exploit a photo I open it under Photoshop and if I have to work again it (reframing e.g.) I registered it then under .psd
Lightroom serves me only to find, via the keys-words, a collection among my 75 000 photos distributed under 3 disks and 5 Terabit.

I don't see all option in Photoshop Elements and Camera Raw

That's because Elements is a reduced version of Photoshop.
You have two questions:
Auto align layers. My suggestion: google 'Photoshop Elements auto align layers' and you have a lot of answers and suggestions.
The ACR module does not have all the features of the full version in Photoshop, but the important and meaningful ones are there. For the rest, you have to open your image in the editor where you have corresponding features. The editor has much more powerful tools than the adjustment brush for critical editing.

Camera Raw/Mac image update problem

I am a new Mac user. When I adjust an image in Camera Raw (I have Photoshop CS4 and most up to date Camera Raw) and click the Done button my image is updated in Photoshop, Bridge and Camera Raw, however if I go into Finder on my Mac the preview is not updated and if I open the file in, say, Picasa, the original file is opened. If I click the file and open it in Bridge, the edited file opens. How do I get it so the preview is updated and the edited file is opened in programs other than Photoshop?

Editing in ACR is non-destructive (the original image data is not modified) and the edits are carried in either a sidecar file or database, depending upon your settings. Only ACR/Bridge/Photoshop (and Lightroom) will "see" the edits, therefore the original non-edited image will show when opening in another program.
One can save directly out of ACR in a variety of formats, which will them incorporate the edits and make them visible to other programs.

CS5 Camera RAW Mac

Why won't CS5 camera raw update to 6.7 on my Mac? In fact, I don't think any Adobe CS5 apps will up date. I'm running Yosemite.
Does anybody know how to fix this?

Here are my 2 problems.
1) I can't update to Camera 6.7. 6.7 will open my D4 NEF RAW files.
2) No CS5 apps seem to update.

Open as SmartObject/Open as image in Camera Raw (Mac)

I am having an issue when opening a file with Photoshop. I am running Pohotshop CS4 for Mac, OS X Leopard. Whenever I begin a new project in photoshop, and open an image file, the "Open Image " button is replaced by a "Open Object" button at the bottom of the dialogue box. I do not want to open as a smart object. I am in need of a solution/guidance on how to undo this issue. I was simply making an isolated image into a smart object and was shocked to find this change the next time I used Ps. I reset all photoshop settings to original deafult (by holding command/option/shift and running Ps) yet, this did not solve the issue.

Just found the solution on another question! when opening an image, click the blue text hyperlink near the "open" button that will open a box which gives you the option to deselct "open as smart object" hope others find that useful.

Camera raw dans CS6

J'ai un souci dans Camera Raw : quand une image est ouverte et que je fais un premier réglage avec le curseur "exposition" avant de passer au curseur "contraste", le fait de toucher au curseur contraste semble valider mon précédent réglage au curseur "exposition" en le ramenant sur des valeurs entières comme -1, 0 ou +1 ; les valeurs intermédiaires comme 0,75 ne sont pas prises en compte. Le curseur revient à 0 dans ce cas là et si j'étais à +1,15, il reviendrait à +1.
En essayant de résoudre ce problème, je m'aperçois que dans les métadonnées de Bridge, à la rubrique Camera Raw, la version du processus affichée est 6.7 alors que par Photoshop/A propos des modules externes/cameraraw, il m'est indiqué : le plug-in a une version 8.3 Est-ce normal et si cela ne l'est pas, comment peut-on synchroniser les deux versions ?

How to open a jpg file in camera raw in Photoshop CC (2014)?

I know i can do it via bridge but do i also have some option than using bridge?

You can open a jpeg or tif into camera raw from photoshop by using:
File>Open As>Camera Raw (windows)
File>Open and change the Format to Camera Raw (mac)
You can also open any open document into the camera raw filter
Filter>Camera Raw Filter
If you want all jpegs or tifs to always open in camera raw, you can go to Photoshop(Edit)>Preferences>Camera Raw
and set Jpeg and Tiff handling to Automatically Open All

Camera Raw won't open in Photoshop CS6

Wanting to begin using the Camera Raw plug-in for PS CS6, I find that it isn't active. (1) In Bridge CS6, the ACR icon in the top menu is grayed out; (2) after clicking a JPEG image file in Bridge, then right-clicking it, there's no option to open it in Camera Raw; (3) using Bridge's File menu, there's no Camera Raw option visible; and (4) in PS CS6, going from File > Open, then choosing "Camera Raw" in the Enable options drop-down list, each JPEG file is grayed out.
My attempts to activate Camera Raw involve (1) downloading DNG Converter 8.7.1 and (2) attempting to download ACR 8.3…Adobe Update. That second effort failed, getting this error code: "Camera Raw 8.3(CS6) U44M2P7". I currently have AdobeCameraRaw7.0ALL and AdobeCameraRawProfile7.0ALL installed on a Mac running OS10.7.6.
I don't know what else to do. Please tell me how to activate Camera Raw using Photoshop CS6.

I've downloaded and installed the ACR plug-in for v. 8.7.1.311 Now, files open in Camera Raw, as expected, when using Bridge CS6. That's great.
I have two questions, Ben:
1 -- -- Although the first three options that I mentioned above (working from Bridge) are successful, I'm unable to open JPEGs in Camera Raw directly from Photoshop [as in option (4) above]. I'd like to be able to open JPEG files from PS; is there a preference I need to set to get PS to recognize and enable ACR?
2 -- -- Should I now delete all files related to AdobeCameraRaw7.0ALL? Or are those files required to run with the new plug-in?

How do I backup Camera Raw Database?

I have my 'how to save image options' setting set to 'in camera raw database' instead of individual xmp files which i find cluttersome and I view my folders outside of bridge so hiding them in bridge doesn't help me.
I've read (on here) that if you use the database method if you so much as move a folder or move a file then you lose your settings for the file. Well I can move a folder, or file, or rename the folder or file (all in windows explorer with no adobe products running) and bridge/acr still load up all the settings..
So this brings me to my question, when backing up my raw files, besides the image files, what do I need to backup to ensure that it also backs up my settings? Thanks

There are TWO caches. The Bridge cache and the Camera Raw cache. You need to purge the Bridge cache. You need to the Bridge menue to do that, not the use button in the Camera Raw preferences dialog, which purge the Camera Raw cache, which is not the problem.

Purging the cache does not lose any edits in CS2 when working with raw files.
