Pass on lot size" function not supported in costing runs

hi when i am doing cost estimate through ck40n i am getting following error.
Pass on lot size" function not supported in costing runs
Message no. CK463
Diagnosis
You have selected costing variant PPC1 for the costing run. The Pass on lot size indicator is set in this costing variant. Costing variants in which this indicator is set cannot be used by the costing run.
System Response
The costing run is not created.
Procedure
You have the following options:
Reset the Pass on lot size indicator in costing variant PPC1 so that the lot size is not passed on.
Use a different costing variant in which the Pass on lot size indicator is not set.
if any one had found any same king of error please help me in fix it.
thanks
kareem

Probably this might be the cause
Sales order by Costing
Check out the below
Pass On Lot Size
Definition
If this indicator is selected, the system determines the costing lot size using the lot size of the highest material in the BOM and the input quantities of the components.
Use
1) Do not pass on lot size
If this indicator is not selected, the materials further down in the structure are costed in accordance with the lot size in the costing view of the material master record. When the materials in the next-highest costing level are costed, the costing results of the semifinished materials are converted to the lot size of the finished material to calculate the material costs for the finished product.
2) Pass on lot size only with individual requirement
In the MRP view of the material master record, you can specify that a material is planned as an individual requirement. If such a material is added to another material, costing uses the lot size of the highest material.
3) Always pass on lot size
Here, the costs for all the materials in a multi-level BOM are calculated using the costing lot size of the highest material. This function is used principally in sales order costing.
If you are costing sales orders using product costing for a material with a multilevel BOM that is produced in-house, choose 2) or 3) . For those individual requirements materials, from a business management point of view it is recommended that the order lot size be used when costing the material components going into the finished product. On the other hand, materials subject to collective requirements are generally costed using the costing lot size in the material master record.

  • ADF Faces is not supported on IE running in compatibility mode

    hi
In the blog post "Running ADF Faces applications with IE 9 in IE 8 compatibility mode "
    at https://blogs.oracle.com/jdevotnharvest/entry/running_adf_faces_applications_with_ie_9_in_ie_8_compatibility_mode
Frank Nimphius explains about headers to make IE browsers behave like a previous version (in compatibility mode), but ends with this support information:
    Very Important(!)
ADF Faces is not supported on IE running in compatibility mode. If using ADF Faces on IE in production, make sure IE is configured to run in native mode. Compatibility mode may only be used during development if your IE version is not certified with the JDeveloper version you work with. In production then you need to make sure the IE version matches the JDeveloper certification matrix.Reviewing the Release 1 "Certification and Support Matrix "
    at http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/developer-tools/jdev/index-091111.html#Browsers
    it currently says
"For Internet Explorer 8 and 9, only Native mode is supported. View Compatibility mode should be disabled. "
But there currently are no hits when searching for "compatibility" in the Release 2 "Certification and Support Matrix "
    at http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/developer-tools/jdev/jdev11gr2-cert-405181.html#Browsers
    - (q1) ADF Faces is not supported on IE running in compatibility mode, how much of that applies to JDeveloper Release 2 and where has it been documented?

  • Why is the PWDCOMPARE function not supported on an Azure SQL Server 2014 database

I have tried to publish a database from our local SQL Server to Azure but receive an error saying PWDCOMPARE is not supported with no link to a reason why.
We are using HASHBYTES function to encrypt passwords in our database and
PWDCOMPARE to validate them and we currently don't have an alternative (see article: http://sqlity.net/en/2460/sql-password-hash/). The PWDCOMPARE function is referenced by a stored procedure,
which is what won't publish to Azure.
It would be useful to know if it will be supported or if we should create a VM instead.
EDIT: Further Clarified question above, but basically the functions listed are documented in MSDN and there is no mention of them being undocumented unsupported features.
The error occurs when trying to publish a database to Azure from SQL Server 2014 Management Studio

    Hi,
I am not an expert to answer this but am trying my best to answer this query.
Hashes a password and compares the hash to the hash of an existing password. PWDCOMPARE can be used to search for blank SQL Server login passwords or common weak passwords.
    Syntax
    PWDCOMPARE ( 'clear_text_password'
       , password_hash
       [ , version ] )
Note: This feature will be removed in the next version of Microsoft SQL Server. Do not use this feature in new development work, and modify applications that currently use this feature as soon as possible.
I am not sure whether this feature is not available on SQL 2014.
I think you can solve this issue by using the EXECUTE AS. Add this query into a procedure with EXECUTE AS with the user/login with sufficient permissions on the server.
Refer to belw link for more details on EXECUTE AS

    Hello Bhumika2 ,
    Welcome to the HP Forums.
I see that you are having some printing issues with paper sizes.
Seeing that the operating system is 10.5, the printer is not supported on this version.  I suggest that you check for apple updates and see if anything is available.

  • Acrobat 8 on iMac: Preview Function Not Supported?

I just tried to use the Preview function under Print in Acrobat and it says that Preview is not supported. Is this a problem with Acrobat 8 on OS 10.5? Is there any way to fix it?

It's possible but she would have to purchase 8 separately.
Actually she would have to purchase 9 separately. 8 isn't being sold any more.

  • Regular Expression functions not supported in Interactive report filters ??

I'm using APEX 4.0.2 and I'm trying to create a row filter in an interactive report which uses regexp_instr and regexp_replace functions and I'm getting the message:
    Invalid filter expression. regexp_instr
The code runs fine in SQL Workshop
    select cytogenetics from z_patient
    where regexp_instr(regexp_replace(cytogenetics,'(\,+|\"+|\s)',''),'(^46XX$|^46XY$|^46XX\[..\]$|^46XY\[..\]$)')=1
    CYTOGENETICS
    "46,XX [20]"
    "46,XY[20]"
    "46,XX"
    "46,XY[20]"
    "46,XY[30]"
    "46,XY[26]"
    "46,XY [33]"
    "46,XX[32]
    etc...
my filter is just the where clause above i.e.
    regexp_instr(regexp_replace(cytogenetics,'(\,+|\"+|\s)',''),'(^46XX$|^46XY$|^46XX\[..\]$|^46XY\[..\]$)')=1
*Are regular expression functions just not supported in interactive report filters?*
    thanks in advance
    Paul P

    Hi Paul,
regular expression functions are supported in interactive report filters, but it looks like that REGEXP_INSTR hasn't been added as valid command. Only REGEXP_SUBSTR and REGEXP_REPLACE are valid commands for computation expressions and REGEXP_SUBSTR, REGEXP_REPLACE and REGEXP_LIKE for row level filters.
I have filed bug# 12926266 to fix this issue. Sorry for the inconvenience.

  • Material set to lot size TB not summing up orders when covering

Hello all. I'd appreciate any input on this problem we're seeing.
We have a material that has lot size set to "TB" (Daily lot size). This leads us to expect that demands on this material will be covered by purchase orders summing up all  the demands for this day.
For instance we currently have 10 orders for 11. sep in different quantities from 1 to 3. Since the material is set to lot size TB we would expect to see a purchase order for 19 pieces which is the total.
But instead we get a bunch of small purchase orders, the system doesn't appear to sum up as expected.
Has anyone any ideas about why this may be so?
    Regards
    Simon Pedersen

Thanks for the answers so far, It's not letting us make much progress though.
The material is a trading good (HAWA). It has no BOM. The Collective indicator on MRP4 is not maintained (as far as i know it should not be since there are no dependent requirements involved). The demand is triggered by Sales Orders.
The purchase requisitions get generated by the MRP run based on these sales orders. That is what we don't understand, since the material is set to TB the MRP should make a single bigger order instead of many small ones.

  • Periodic lot size PR not covering the requirement for the periods

    Dear Experts,
I am using customized monthly lot size size key with Periodic lot size procedure and number of periods 3 months.
The MRP is creating one purchase requisitions for all the requirements for the first month only. The second and third month requirements are not included for the purchase requisition quantity. The second and third month requirements are kept opened without any PR.
The planning harizon is 100 days which is more than 3 months. There is no maximum lot size restrictions. But still why the purchase requisition quantity is not included the second and third month requirements.
    Please give your valuable suggestions.

    For i.e
I have a demand with  100 pc ..... minimum lot size is 60 and max lot size is 62 .....
SNP should create two lots with 60 pc each one , but it is creating one lot with 60 and a second lot with 40 ..... It is considering last lot exact to fulfill demand .....
All PDS have discretization flag  and the relevant parameters for discretization are set on OPT profile .....
    I some setting missing ?
Please i need some help asap .....

  • Future price not deleted after cost run

    Hi all,
If a material master has the future price maintained on the Accounting 1 view, then it is picked up in the next cost estimate that is created.
Costing strategy is Future price, Price from PIR, Standard cost.
However, I have been told that once the Cost estimate has been created, the future price is deleted from the material master. In this way the cost accountant can delay the release of a new standard price to avoid large re-valuations.
The future price is not being deleted following our cost run, can anyone advise on this?
    Thanks
    Phil.

Future prices will not delete when a cost estimate is released.  If the Future Price is ACTIVATED (no cost estimate involved) then the Future price field will clear because it is "rolled forward"  in the same manner that a Marked cost estimate is rolled forward to the Released Cost Estimate, leaving the field Future Planned Price on Costing 2 blank.
Be very careful with CKME - it will activate future prices and release future planned cost estimates, but it does not stop and show you what is about to be activated or released and the financial impact.   We wrote a custom transaction that had CKME report what it is going to do, so we have a chance to review the infomation.

  • Additive cost not picking in costing run

    Hi!
I am using additive costing , while doing costing run system is picking up additive cost for header material, that when BOM exploding, but not picking additive cost for componenets.
for us componets are also having price control "S", standard cost esimate has to run. as per valuation variant planned price will be consider for the standard price for components, where there is no BOM
    any suggestions on this?
why additve cost is not picking for materials where there is no BOM explosion.
    regs,
    ramesh

    Hi
If child is not having BOM - Then Maintain a Special Proc Key 20 in the Costing view of Mat Master and whatever price you maintain in the Planned Price Fields -can be released as a cost estimate
In that case, If you maintain additive cost, it does not make sense.. You can straight away maintain the requird price in planned price

  • After transfer to new mac lots of image not supported!

    Hello all.
I have just tranferred to a new imac and copied over my aperture folder.
In one particular project as I click on each image the image breifly shows then appears to currpot and is replaced with a black box saying its unsupported.
they are from a nikon D50 which I believe we supported from the first aperture release.
Further more a lot of the image thumbnails, are showing at 90 degrees and distorted. Selecting the image shows the correct one but the tumbnail remains distorted,
    How can I fix this?
    Cheers

Sadly that has not worked. All images in this folder are showing the wrong thumbnails and a lot of them have become unsupported.
I really suspect its aperture not really able to cope with some many adjustments. This folder has around 300 images which I call 'on white' simple pictures with a white background. because I don't have the lighting every single one at the minimum has contrast, exposure, sharpening and white balance enhancements and its this folder thats gone wrong. All the other 60,000 or photos it would appear are just fine and these photos only occasionally have adjustment.
Thankfully its not the end of the world, I have not yet sold my old imac which still has the intact images. presumably I can output the original masters reimport them into my new make and make all the adjustments again.

  • Worksheet Functions not Supported by Application Object, VBA Mod is not the same as Excel Mod

kb article 107564 states that VBA Mod function is the same as excel Mod funciton.
and as a result of this the Excel Mod function is not available in VBA.
The vba help provides examples and specificaly states that the mod is rounded to an integer:
    Dim MyResult
    MyResult = 10 Mod 5 ' Returns 0.
    MyResult = 10 Mod 3 ' Returns 1.
    MyResult = 12 Mod 4.3 ' Returns 0.
    MyResult = 12.6 Mod 5 ' Returns 3.
However using excel Mod(x,y) function: these results occur:
    Mod(10,5) = 0
    Mod(10,3) = 1
    Mod(12,4.3) = 3.4
    Mod(12.6,5) = 2.6
    This is from Excel 2010.
How can we get the Application to use the Excel Worksheet function?

    Roll your own:
    Sub TestMacro()
        '12.3 Mod 3.4 should return 2.1
        MsgBox WSMod(12.3, 3.4)
    End Sub
Function WSMod(dN As Double, dD As Double) As Double
        WSMod = (dN / dD - Int(dN / dD)) * dD
    End Function
