Passing CFGrid variable to Javascript

I am trying to capture a value in my cfgrid and send it to a
javascript attached to a button.

When I drop the bindVariable into the javascript in the
getURL I get a ton of Flex engine errors. I've tried all kinds of
syntax variations and still errors. Could someone lend me a hand?

You can try this example. If it works then you can try to
replace the txtSource with your my_grid.dataProvider ...

Passing a variable from Javascript to java variable in a JSP.

Here is simple test Ive been messing around with.
How do I assign the value that was selected in the radio button to a java variable in my JSP here. Javascript being client side and JSPs being serverside makes this difficult.

Please excuse me for appearing dim but my JSP skills are rather weak.
I dynamically create rows in a table from an Iterator. If the mainTopic is news then I need a third column to appear with radio buttons. I have all this done. When a radio button is selected and the UPLOAD button is selected I need to know which of the values in the table was selected.
When I ran the test below the selected value was null. Can you help me?

Passing variable from javascript to servlet!!!

Hi all,
I have one doubt,
can we pass a variable from javascript to servlet???
In Brief,
i am getting some values in javascript through jsp and the same values i
want to use in servlet.
Yes, i know i can get these values in servlet by using request.getParameter("");
But these values are dynamically generated so i dont know how many varaible are they!. so i am trying to put some array list so that i can forward this values to servlet.
But i can't get this array which is declared in javascript!! :( so any buddy can help me how to get this dynamically generated values in servlet!!!

Using Flash variable in Javascript problem

I want Flash to load a rss feed and hand it to Javascript
which will do the parsing and rendering. AFAIK Javaswcript can't
load external documents and include them into the current html page
for some security reasons. So I try this approach.
I attached the code I have. My Problem is that Flash does
pass the variable to javascript but the document.write overwrites
everything else in the current html document.
I don't want to work with popups for obvious reasons. The
variable must be included in the _current_ document.
Can anyone give me a hint how to get this working properly?

What is happening is the XML file is getting cached by the browser.
There are a few different ways to fix this, but this is what I have found to be the easiest.
In the Actionscript, where the call to load the xml is, append a random string to the end of the call.
so:
(This is AS2 code - so a conversion is necessary if using AS3)
myXML.load("http://path/to/xml.xml?r="+Math.round(Math.random()*99999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999));
What this will do is tell the browser that you are calling a unique file every time you try to load the xml, which will forcefully bypass the cached version.

Passing Variable from Javascript to Controller

Hi Experts,
I was using the Pagefragment page eg. CreateSales.htm. and for the leftnavigation I am using a javascript file. The scenerio was
when user click on the left navigation "CreateSales" I was using the link eg.
http://testserver.kuldeep.com:8440/sap/bc/bsp/zapplication/CreateSales.htm?gv_page_mode=f
Here I am passing the variable gv_page_mode=f.
But the page is changed into the Controller and views so I am not able to pass the variable like this

Is it possible to pass a variable from one animation to another?

I have multiple animations on the same page. I need to pass a variable from one to the other.
Animation One has this:
sym.setVariable("myVarOne", 1);
Animation Two has this:
var myVarOneInTwo=Edge.getComposition("EDGE-12345678").getVariable("myVarOne");
Seems like it should work, but kinda hard to tell. I put in:
console.log("myVarOneInTwo = " + myVarOneInTwo);
But I get: Javascript error in event handler! Event Type = timeline
So it seems that it doesn't like getting a variable from another animation.
Is there a way to pull a variable from one animation into another?

Sorry also had to fix this:
var myVarOneInTwo=Edge.getComposition("EDGE-12345678").getVariable("myVar One");
To this:
var myVarOneInTwo=Edge.getComposition("EDGE-12345678").getStage().getVariable("myVar One");

What do I make wrong?
Maybe it is just a sintax failure and maybe... . How can I
pass a value to a javascript witch is loads a php code to generate
the text on the button witch is the src of an <img> tag. The
value of @id doesn't reaches the PHP file and the problem is in
spry:region="dsmenus" is a special definition needed to pass the
variables in such a region to a javacript, if so then how to do it

Reading Applet variable to javascript but getting some [native code] error?

Hello All,
I am trying to get the value of an applet variable into a javascript variable.
The variable in applet is: Public String list;
I am accepting it in javascript as: var val = document.content.list; where content is the applet name or ID
When I do: alert(val); , I get an alert box with "Hi" on it. Which is as expected.
However when I try to do: alert(val.length); , i get an alert box with "function length { [native code] }" in it.
I have seen such a thing for the first time in my life, I am quite new to the world of coding.
Can anyone tell me how can I solve this problem, because further I need to pass this javascript variable val to a server side script using Xmlhttp method.
Presently when I am passing the variable, it doesn't get saved on the server which I intend to do after passing the variable.
Any Suggestions??
