Passing from max to min value

Hi there.
Im build a program in LabView 8.5 and I have a problem.
Im calculating an angle to use it after as a comparison with another value to stop the loop. The problem is that when the value gets to 180º its supposed to continue from the -180 but instead he stays at 180 value.
The problem here is that if he doesnt get from 180 to -180 i cant activate the while loop again and i have part of my program stuck until i start the problem again :/.
If any1 could help im happy to answer any questions you may have from this msg and the problem here.

There is a vi call Wrap Angle.vi in the Mathematics -> Geometry -> Angle palette that does that.

Query Designer in BI - How to cumulate value and get the Max and Min value.

I want to create a report with query designe of BI 7r. is it possible. the data from the cube will be

Calculation should be - Refer the cumulative value field

Hi there,
Create 4 column,
1st will show regular values for the key figure,
2nd will show Cumulative value, in Query Designer, Just right click on the this 2nd key figure properties, calculation tab there you can check on Cumulated option, and define the calculation direction as Calculate along the Column.
3rd will show Minimum value , Just right click on the this 2nd key figure properties, calculation tab calculate single valuea as minimum.
4th will show Minimum value , Just right click on the this 2nd key figure properties, calculation tab calculate single valuea as Maximum.

How to set checkbox to fill max or min value in field

Hi all,
I am pretty new to the adobe acrobat and I just created my first pdf form. I would ask for a help:
In this form I have 2 fields where in one is price with VAT and in other without VAT. I also have a check box and total price field in form.
I would like to set this form in a way that if check box is checked price with VAT is copied in the total price field and if check box is unchecked the price without VAT would be copied in the total price field.
My idea is to set the checkbox to copy max value to total price field if checked and min if unchecked. Is there a way to do that? Is there a better way to achieve that?

You can set the min/max to int.MIN_VALUE/int.MAX_VALUE or
Number.MIN_VALUE/Number.MAX_VALUE
It isn't unbounded, but will hopefully meet your needs.

Report required max and min value on daily basis

I have requirement to create a report. Requirement is like this. I have a dealer say d1. This dealer has 6 supervisor say sup1, sup2, sup3…..sup6. Daily they open jobcards.
suppose on 1st march sup1 opened 6 jobcard, sup2 opened 4, sup3 8 and so on. similarly on 2nd march sup1 opened 5 sup2 6 sup4 15 and so on.
I have all dimension and facts are available.
The report should display this

Max no of open jobcard per sup------ 8--------------- 15
Min no of open jobcard per sup------- 4----------------- 5

Thanks for response. But the below solution is not meeting our requirement. By doing this, it is giving the total no of Jobcard opened on a particular date.
I have a requirement , suppose on 1st march supervisor 1 opens 20 jobcard, sup 2 opens 25 jobcards and sup 3 opens 15 jobcards. So, if i am selecting max value then my result should be like this
March 1 --------------------------- 25

Sounds like you need very basic advice: Start with the tutorials: http://java.sun.com/docs/books/tutorial/index.html
And if the algorithm is the problem:
- Make two variables that hold the current maximum and minimum value
- whenever a value is entered, compare it with the minimum, if it is smaller, set the minimum to that value
- ditto with maximum
at the end the two variables contain the maximum and minimum values.

Is there an easy way to make JSpinner wrap around at max/min values?

I have several pages with a couple dozen JSpinners to set various values - mostly numeric, but some are not.
I would like to make them wrap around when either the max or min values are reached.
Is there an easy way to do this?
I was hoping for something like an "enableWraparound" property, but I haven't found such an animal.
I suspect I could add value change listeners to all the components and do it by brute force,
but there are too many spinners scattered around to make that an option I would like to take.
Any suggestions?

Ok, it looks like custom spinner models are the way to go.
Hopefully, I can create a couple that are generic enough to meet my requirements without too much pain.

Displaying Max/Min values with time for analog signals.

I am sampling analog inputs. I simply want to display the max and min values with the time they occurred. This seems simple but I am new to LabView and can't find a Vi to do this.

Here's the code. When you run the demo program, you'll see three traces: Green is the max so far, Red is the min so far, and White is the current signal value.
As the input value cycles, you'll see the two limit values track its extremes. If you have any questions about how it works, just holler.

Thread use to find max and min in an array of objects??

Hello everyone,
I need to find the min and max int value in a array of Objects.
This has to be done using threads--like divide the entire array into 10 or so blocks and find the local min and max in each block., Each block is run on a thread and finally comparing them to find the global max and min.How should I do this? I am new to Java programming and in particular to threads.

if i understand your problem, you have a big array with a lot of int values and you need to create a few arrays with a part of the big one in each, next each in a thread find the max and the min, next return the max and the min of each thread and compare these max and min to obtain the globals max and min?
In that case you can create a class in which is your big array. you create a second class implementing Runnable, in its creator you put the instance of the
first class and 2 int which are the beginning and the ending index. in this class add a method run in this method you create a loop to compare the current value to the max and min values, and you replace if you need to do. In the first class you put the main where you create a few instance of the second class in a thread :
private Thread threadName = new Thread(new SecondClass(this, start, end));
Next you start all these thread:
threadName.start();
At the end of the run method of the second class you have to write your result in the max and min fields of the first class(int type, you have to create it)
Write it only if it's necessary (if the current max is > than the already existing max).
I think it's complete!

How to find out the max/min value of one field corresponding to a second field in HANA through graphical way.

Hi,
I am trying to find out the latest delivery date(EINDT) for each purchasing document (EBELN) through graphical way.
The view contains other fields apart from the above mentioned two fields.
When only the two fields (EBELN, EINDT) are there, then in semantics, I can select 'Max' as aggregation to get the maximum value for each document.
If I do like this, then I need to join more than 3 views and also so many joins in calculation view. Taking so much time for data preview.
Hence , please help me in getting the solution while the view contains other fields also.

if only two fields are then I can get the max/min values of one field corresponding to other field.
But more than two fields are there with different values, then let me know how to find out the max/min value of a particular filed corresponding to the 2nd field with other fields also should be in the output.

i 'm doing what exactly you mention here .
my problem here is
i have 15 columns
i am executing a query based on the values of the column(column name) in the target page
1)here i am passing(all) the column values to the next page-but i want to pass only one column values(column name)
when i click on any cell of that column
OR
2)i can pass all column name to target page -there(in the target page) i can filter out
i think option 1 would good if you filter out the unwanted columns
