Passing option values through servlets

Question

how do i pass this option values into another servlet??
out1.println("<select name =\"delimiter\" multiple>");
                                        out1.println("<option value = \"type1\">" + ";");
                                        out1.println("<option value = \"type2\">" + ",");
                                        out1.println("<option value = \"type3\">" + ">");
                                        out1.println("</select>");
i want to substitute these 3 delimters into a new servlet and then replace the following delimter in the code below with any choosen delimiter:
if(i < MyData.size())
collist += (((Details)MyData.elementAt(i))).getData_name()+",";
}

Externalize the process of creating the list into a bean or class. This will make it universally available. Method calls can be tailored to filter or change the list appropriately.
