Passing values to a af:popupTable

Question

Hi Folks,
I am back again. I see a couple of examples on the internet passing a value from a row from a af:table to an af:popup but my problem is a little bit different.
I need to pass a value typed from af:inputText do appear in another af:inputText in the af:popup.
I used af:setPropertyListener and af:clientAttribute tags but it has not worked as I had expected.
The set method from Entity is not being called any time.
I tried to set the launcher (af:commandImageLink) to be partialSubmit but it has not made any difference.
If I typed a string value in the af:clientAttribute it goes there fine, for example, "XYZ".

I have solved it.
The inputText has autosubmit property set to true and valueChangeListener set to a method as follows:
