Password a Photo Album in 10.3.9??

Dose anyone know how I can do this from my iweb photo page?? Thanks

10.3 has a huge issue with password protected ssl certs. Most of the issues surround the failure to properly use /etc/http/getsslpassphrase but there are other issues as well. Basically, Server Admin is useless for the configuration of virtual hosts using ssl certs. Use the apachectl command from terminal to start and stop apache and hand enter your ssl cert when prompted.
sudo apachectl start
sudo apachectl stop
sudo apacheclt graceful
Just remember that a reboot of your server will result in Apache failing to start. So plan accordingly and be prepared to manually start web services after a reboot.

You can set a password on your user account in OSX.
You can set up separate accounts for other users. (with their own passwords if you want)
There is no way AFAIK to do a password just for iMovie.

I put all my photos from my iPod Touch 4 and my iPhone 4S in iCloud Photo Albums and Labeled them so that when I got the new iPhone 6 on iOS 8.1.2 I could have my previous photos on there for future use. Now I look on my iTunes app on my computer it shows that my storage on my iPhone 6 is almost full. Those Photos in iCloud are taking up all my storage on my iPhone. I know how to add more storage on my iCloud account, I just want to know Is there a way where my iCloud Photo Albums can still be in my iCloud Account, just not taking up all my storage on my iPhone.

If you did not sign out of your Apple ID on your iPhone before creating a new one, then you will need to sign back in with your previous Apple ID and then sign out. If you do not remember your password and do not have access to the email account, then you can reset your password by using the security questions.

Need photo album/gallery with upload/download capabilities

Hi all,
This is my first time here. I've recently purchased my first
Mac with iLife and have Dreamweaver MX. I'd like a photo album app
that allows for easy uploading of images (batch if possible). I'd
like to take the images and make quicktime movie slideshows from
iMovie and then upload those into the album so friends and fam can
look at. I'd like the albums to be password protected. I've looked
at Coppermine and Gallery, but I don't know a thing about PHP or
MySQL. I do, however, have some understanding of databases (MS
Access and Oracle) and I understand regular SQL. I did develop an
ASP app in a class a few years back, but not sure if any of that
knowledge remains in the grey matter (PHP and MySQL seem to be the
trends now). Will Dreamweaver make things easier if I attempt
either of the aforementioned apps? Is there a truly plug and play
app that might be easier? I am a bit lazy and pressed for time. Any
direction will be greatly appreciated.

Photo Album Request

Why did apple make the feature of "copying" photos between albums but not moving them. I have some private photos in my camera row but i can not keep them. It make no sense being able to copy but not moving the photos. The only solution i got is to jailbreak my iphone and download an app called photo albums + that allows you to create album move photos between albums and dven add a password protected priavte album right from your iphone. Please i want an answer from apple what kind of policy do you have by not making a feature i think is requested by ever idevice owner.everybody would like to have a password protected album in which he could MOVE pictures taken from the iphone from the iphone.

Trouble with photo albums in front row

Hi,
I am having trouble getting my photo albums to play via front row. I have numerous albums but when i go into them in front row, it just shows up random photos from the album and roll they came from, with none of the album pages showing. The photo roll and the name of the albums is the same ie: roll called sweden, album called sweden, would that be causing a problem, ie: iphoto unsure of which photos to show? They play fine in iphoto, with all of the album pages showing, but not in front row.
I'm not sure whether this is a iphoto prob. or a front row prob....
Any help would be greatly appreciated as I am getting a little frusterated!!

Can you launch the Editor separately then use:
File >> Open
How did you install? From download or disk?
Have you activated the software? This has changed with PSE12 and requires you to sign-in with your Adobe ID (email address and password)

Trying to add photos to facebook, no photo albums showing

Hi
I've always added photos to facebook by selecting the photo first then selecting upload to facebook but for some reason my photo albums on Facebook are no longer showing (even though they are still there)?
Still works ok on my husbands identical phone / set up.
I can upload by going into Facebook first, but not sure why I can't do it the way I always have?

All sorted deleted and re-installed Facebook app (but needed to enter FB password in settings on phone too).

Transfer Videos to photo album

I purchased MediaSafe KYMS that allows you to lock out a folder with a password containing selective videos and phots but some of my videos are in the VIDEOS iphone folder and cannot figure out how to move them over to my photo album. The program does not have access to the VIDEOS folder.

IWeb Online Photo Albums

What am I supposed to do with all my meticulously created online photo albums now that iWeb is going away? Any suggestions?

You can find a 3rd party hosting service and move your iWeb sites from your iDisk to it and continue as before. Of course there will be somethings that iWeb will lose upon moving to a new server and the MMe servers are taken off line June 30, 2012:

All of these issues can be replaced with 3rd party options.
I found that if I published my site to a folder on my hard drive and then uploaded with a 3rd party FTP client subscriptions to slideshows and the RSS feed were broken. If I published directly from iWeb to the FPT server those two features continued to work correctly.
There's another problem and that's with iWeb's popup slideshows. Once the MMe servers are no longer online the popup slideshow buttons will not display their images.

However, Roddy McKay and I have figured out a way to modify existing sites with those slideshows and iWeb itself so that those images will display as expected once MobileMe servers are gone. Apple has announced that iLife is now an unsupported product and those iApps will only be available thru the App Store from now on. However, the boxed iLife 11 at the online Apple Store (Store button at the top of the page) and those still on the shelves of retailers will include iWeb and iDVD. Those two apps were listed in small, gray text on the iLife 11 box that I bought. Personally, if I already didn't have a copy I would purchase one to have it for reinstallation purposes if ever needed.
There are a number of web development applications out there that you can migrate to once iWeb no longer works or does'nt suit your needs. They vary in their ease of use and simplicity. Just search the iWeb community as Wyodor suggested to find discussions on the pros and cons of these apps. We have until June 30th to make our decisions and move the sites. Lots of time to experiment and settle on an alternative.

IPhone resets playing music and viewing Photo Album

My iPhone has started reseting to the main menu and the applications (photo album and iPod) at random when both are active. I hava also had several resets, I call them that because I don't know what the system is doing but the application simply quits and the phone goes back to the top menu. I have heard there is a problem with the latest version of the system so is there anything I can do to stablize the situation? The phone is working as it should be but the applications are not predictable.

The behavior you're describing where the application quits and you are taken back to the home screen is called "crashing".
The first thing you can try is resetting your iPhone. Hold the Home and Sleep/Wake buttons down until the Apple logo shows on the screen (about 6-8 seconds), then release the buttons.
If that does not help, you should restore your iPhone. Connect your phone to iTunes, let it sync, and then click restore. After your iPhone software is reloaded, you will be able to restore all your data from your last sync. You will have to re-enter some passwords, such as your voicemail password, wi-fi network passwords, and email account passwords.
If you continue to get crashes despite these measures, I recommend getting your iPhone serviced either by taking it to the Apple store or by calling 1-800-MY-iPHONE.

Photo album support needed

Apple - i can take pics, edit red eye, crop - which is cool. But for the love of God, when will you improve photo album managent via the device? Imagine a world where I can select a photo(s) and hit "MOVE TO ALBUM..." and it really moves it! I mean I can edit video on this thing for pete sake but can't manage a photo album without an umbilical ala itunes or some "solution" app that is not a real solution at all. Also privacy concerns seem legitimate when it comes to protecting content in the photo bucket - native password support would be cool too.

"iOS Photos" album missing from Facebook drop down box

I have an iPhone 5S running iOS 7.0.4. I want to post a Photo from the Camera Roll to Facebook. I tap on a Photo in Camera Roll and choose FaceBook. The Album field defaults to one of my existing Albums at the top of the list. When I scrool down through the list the iOS Photos album doesn't appear. Therefore any photo I upload via the Photo App appears on Facebook under a specific Album not Mobile Photos or iOS Photos. How do I get iOS Photos to appear at the top of the drop down box?

Start Firefox in [[Safe Mode]] to check if one of the add-ons is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Themes).
* Don't make any changes on the Safe mode start window.

Worth updating? Totally a personal decision. For some it would be. For others it would not?
Upgrading, if there are no problems, does not affect your data. And since bad things do happen you always have a good backup. Especially when doing any upgrade.
Your password question has nothing to do with iPhoto. Try it in the OS forum

I previously had an iPad 4 but have now got the Air. Everything was backed up to the cloud but my various photo albums do not contain all my photos. It just says downloading but it never happens.

I have just upgraded to the Air but am having trouble with my photos. Everything was backed up to the cloud before I set up the new iPad but many of my photo albums are empty or contain only one or two pictures and it says it is downloading but nothing happens. I upgraded from a 4. I have had all the iPads and have never had this problem before. Can anyone help please?
