Password changed but not accepted when trying to sign back in

I go online and change my password. This has happened several times now. Anyway, long story short, I change it, it says okay, and then when I go back to iTunes, it lets me sign in. HOWEVER, that is as deep as I can go as I need to change the billing information and it will not let me do that.
This is a continuing headache.
There are other things, but I'll let this one be it for now

    What is the error that you are seeing? Try to login using another App like GameCenter or iMessage? Also try logging in to other Apps like Facebook to check if it is your Internet connection problem.

  • HT4479 Credit card security code not accepted when trying to sign into App Store for the first time

    I have just signed up for an Apple ID. I want to download Twiter for Mac from the App Store. When I try to log in, it tells me this is the first time I have tried using this ID and asks me to register my credit card details. I have entered all the information they ask for but it tells me my security code (CVV) is invalid. Is there any way to fix this, or to sign in without giving my credit card details?

  • HELP! Password Expired & Must Be Changed but Access Denied when trying to do so

    Hi,I have an HP 5740e thin client and for some reason the local user account is requiring a password change.  Yet, when I try to change the password it says Access Denied.  And further, I can't get it to allow me to switch to a different account like Administrator to login.  I've held down the SHIFT key when booting, but it still goes straight to that local user account & the expired password prompt. I'm stuck in an endless loop and don't know how to get out of it.  Safe Mode puts me into the same situation.  And I can't update BIOS because I can't get in at all. OS = Windows Embedded Standard 7 I've also tried to reinstall the latest image off the HP website using a USB drive but it fails every time. I've tried 2 different USB drives with same exact error no each.  Image trying to install = SP56020ERROR:  An unexpected condition occurred Does anyone have a suggestion?

    I was finally able to get in as Administrator using RDP from my desktop.  I didn't realize that the thin client name was missing a digit so that's why I was unsuccessful prior to this. Once I got in remotely, I was able to look at the permissions for the local user account.  Now I see what was wrong.[Checked]      User cannot change password[Unchecked] Password never expires I still don't know why I couldn't install a new factory image, but at least I'm now able to work with this unit.  I also disabled the auto login for now. Sorry to have littered the Forum!

    I plugged in an external DVD/CD burner but finder won't let me use it, and a message comes up saying "Finder wants to make changes, type your password to allow this' however, when I type my password it will no longer accept it and has an error code -128 message come up. I can also now not do anything on the desktop without the same finder password verification request happening. Have tried restarting the computer twice with no luck. Running system OSX10.8.2

    This might be a rare case in which Repair Permissions in Disk Utility is worth a try.

  • Account ID ( email) not known when trying to set back the password

    I issued and installed an Adobe DRM Account long time ago, but I didn't use it up to now. Unfortunately I didn't notice the password. Therefore I tried to set back the password now. However then I will be informed that email is not valid. When I have a look into the Adobe Digital Edition Software on my PC , there is mentionned this email however as standard. Now I have an ebook reader and want to test the DRM Functions. As long as I have not the valid password, I cannot read any book. Now I issued a new account with a second EMail Adress, but how can I change this account on my PC ? I don't find any possibility to delete the old email address and to insert the new one ?

    Enter ctrl-shift-D (cmd-shift-D on Mac) to Digital Editions software to deregister the old account.  (It wouldn't be within the spirit of ADE's terrible user interface to make this easily discoverable.)
    Restart ADE, and you will be able to enter your new account details.
    If you have any devices registered with your old ID, ctrl-shift-E to Digital Editions while the device is connected will remove the old registration from the device.
    Remember if you have any DRM books registered with your old account, you can't read them with the new one. 
    It doesn't sound as if you have either of those issues; more in case anyone else picks up this thread.

    What are you trying to stream?  Some websites have not enabled the video part of airplay... BBC iplayer for example.

  • Get message firefox already running but not responding when trying to launch..tells me to close firefox wondow and try again (no ffox window is open)

    When trying to launch Firefox I get the following message.
    "Firefox is already running, but is not responding. To open a new window, you must first close the existing Firefox process, or restart your system."
    This is not the first time and I am tired of having to restart my computer. BTW I have Firefox as my default browser, but had to use IE to get to this support site!
    In answer to the next question...every time I TRY to open Firefox.

    Simple fix for you I think--it works for me.
    1. Open your TASK MANAGER (rt click on your taskbar)
    2. Go to PROCESSES
    3. Scroll down until you see "firefox.exe"(or anything with the word Firefox in it)
    4. Click(highlight) the "firefox.exe"
    5. At the bottom right side,click "End Process"
    6. Close the Task Manager and do whatever you were attempting to do.

    I haven't been able to download the latest versions of Safari, Quicktime, Java for Mac OS X 10.4, etc. because when I attempt to do so, my password isn't accepted in the verification dialog.
    I am 100% positive I'm using the correct password.
    What is causing this? How do I fix it?

    Open Access in Utilities, use Keychain First Aid under the Window Menu item, then either check the Password under that item, change it, or delete it and start over.

  • Password not accepted when trying to download updates. Security question answer not recognized.

    I have been unable to update my software or downloads for many months now.  I try to log in, but it won't recognize my password.  When I answer the security question, it will not recognize that answer either.  Any suggestions?  Thanks!

    If that's not an option for you, then please provide a bit more info. Where is the login failure occurring? Are you unable to login to http://creative.adobe.com? Are you able to login to the Creative Cloud desktop app? Is the failure only at the point Muse ask for login credentials at first launch?

    Sometimes I want to shut down while another user is logged in and it asks for admin password. I type in correct password and it says it is invald. Password works the rest of the time. Any suggestions?

    This might make more sense then the Apple Support Document.
    Insert Your Leopard DVD.
    Shutdown and restart holding down C
    pick your language
    from the menu go to Utilities
    Pick reset Password
    Pick your hard drive (mines Macintosh HD)
    From the users list select system Administrator
    Enter a password and renter it and select reset
    Quit password reset
    Then quit OS x installer
    Click the restart button
    When your system restarts go to system preferences
    Accounts and click the unlock button (the padlock in the bottom left hand corner)
    It will ask for user name and password
    For user name use the name Roots and the password you entered in the password reset.
    This should unlock all the greyed out menus.
    Check the Allow changes box to give you back Admin status.
    Restart your computer.
    This worked for me without another install. Hope it helps.

    So I downloaded the newest version of AAMEE, because I wanted to test the new function to install CS6 products serialized on my master image, but now I get a error each time I try to login with the Adobe-ID I have. This problem has been going on for 2 days now, even though it just tells me to try later. I want to test the new feature, because I got some troubles with activating two CS6 products on one image and the people that use this software is getting kind of impatient.

    You can keep trying to restore the device from backup until you remember the password. If you're having trouble, try:
    Leaving the password field blank
    Your Apple ID password
    Your computer account password, if you have one
    Email passwords you may have used
    Your Wi-Fi network password
    Website passwords you may have used
    A password for hard-disk encryption software, if you use it

    You reset the iClould password the same way you reset the Apple ID for the email address/account
