    Hi
    On my macbook pro
I'm try to set up a new Epson printer SX 445 to my router/network but each time I run the set up wizard it fails to complete saying Security Key/Password Check fail.
*entered security key/password does not match the one set for for router.

Anybody have any clues how I can resolve this?

I personally suggest the new Drobo FS. Since it has an iTunes server built in and you can use any size sata hard drive in it it is better and a NAS that has to use the same size drives.

i want to change my password but the system is not sending me message to reset my password. pls help someone is using my password without my permission and i want to change my password.

If you are talking about your Apple ID password, make sure it IS your apple ID.
In the past 24 hours, I have received two emails "How to reset your Apple ID password". I  had not requested any change and I finally realized someone else is trying to reset the password. I have had this Apple ID since 2009 so I am not using someone else's ID.
Again, if you are not receiving the email to reset make sure you have the right ID - it might be going to the email linked to the account, and it might not be yours.

    3) user, group ids are identical on both systems.
I also ran cluvfy stage -post hwos -n node-01,node-02 -verbose and received the following output. This output is from node-01. node-02's is identical, except with equivalence to itself failing.

No, no banners. And I followed note 300548.1 to the letter. Several times :-)
However, I believe my issue has to do with a CVUHOME/cv/admin/cvu_config.
    According to the documentation:
CV_XCHK_FOR_SSH_ENABLED—If set to TRUE, it enables the X-Windows check for verifying user equivalence with ssh. By default, this entry is commented out and X-Windows check is disabledIt was not, unfortunately, disabled by default - once I set it to false, everything succeeded. I still need to figure out why XCHK itself is failing, but I think I can troll through the log to figure that out.

  • User equivalence check failed for user "oracle" while running cluvfy

    Hi All,
I am getting User equivalence error as follows while executing cluvfy. I want to install CRS on this server.

I have sucessfully configured ssh and able to do ssh from all the nodes without prompting for the password. Also oracle uid and gid on all the servers are same.
I also checked in .kshrc file and there is no tty entry in that file. and I have also setup /etc/hosts.equiv file on all the node.
I still get the user equivalance error. Can anybody help me in this ?

    Hi,
    thanks.
i need some more help because first time i am working on RAC,
i am also having User equivalence check failed for user "oracle"
i got two machines, one is IBM machine and one is DELL machine installed with solais 10 (AIX installation). both machines are not connected by private network now. and no shared external HDD available now. it will take one week time to set up the HW. the user equivalence check depends the above two factors?
now public network is available and node reachability test "passed"
could you please tell me what may be the reason for the user equivalence check in my case. details are given below
i have oracle user in both machine. user creation done through SMC. home directory is /export/home/oracle
    the following are the details.
    1) $ ssh pc000905 id -a oracle
    Enter passphrase for key '/home/oracle/.ssh/id_rsa':

    Enter passphrase for key '/home/oracle/.ssh/id_rsa':
    uid=100(oracle) gid=300(oinstall) groups=301(dba)
    2) user nobody exists.
    3) all files n .ssh directory have same permissions.
    4) ssh and scp is working with out password(rsa and dsa keys generated).
    5) oracle user is using bourne shell
6)soft link of /usr/bin/ssh and /usr/bin/scp are created to /export/home/oracle/bin
    7)ForwardX11 is "yes" in sshd_config
    8) created a config file in .ssh directory and ForwardX11 is "no" in that file
    8) umask =022 in both nodes.
    error displaying is

  • ICF Connector Must Understand check failed

We are building an ICF connetor, and need to send the user credential and timestamp using WS-Security. We have created a project in JDeveloper. And after deployed it and tested in OIM EM console, we got the error message: oracle.sysman.emSDK.webservices.wsdlapi.SoapTestException: Client received SOAP Fault from server : Must Understand check failed for headers.
The options we have tried is adding a ws-security policy in composite.xml and adding username and password for binding properties and the protocol used is SOAP 1.2.

I saw the note 1161907.1, but It applies for Child OU creation.
In our case the pObjDN is incomplete.

  • "ADFC-0619: Authorization check failed" on standalone WLS10.3.2

    Hi,
After migrating from 11.1.1.1.0 to 11.1.1.2.0 we run into the following authorization problem:
ADFC-0619: Authorization check failed: 'pages/UIShell.jspx' 'VIEW'. (as popup, logging at debug level doesn't give more info)
This error occurs after the user has logged in with correct username/password, and continues from Home.jspx to UIShell.jspx.
    - When testing with JDeveloper on embedded WLS, everything works fine. But as soon as we deploy to standalone WLS 10.3.2, this problem starts.
    - We checked jazn-data.xml on the standalone WLS, but it no missing parts there compared to the 11.1.1.1.0 deployment version.
    - A difference between embedded WLS and standalone WLS is that for the standalone we use LDAP for user authentication. We had this setup working on 11.1.1.1.0, so what has changed?
A similar situation is described here:
ADF 11g security: deploy to WebLogic 10.3.1
    Any clues or directions?
    Thanks alot,
    Gerben

I found a workaround for my problem. Because we're using custom authorization (JHeadstart) in our applications, we don't need adf authorization. So I've just simply set authorizationEnforce to "false" in adf-config.xml, which works in our case.

  • [SOLVED] "Filesystem check failed" during boot process

I was using XFCE on my netbook recently and clicked "shutdown".  It logged out to the command prompt and nothing happened.  Assuming that I'd clicked "logout" by mistake, I typed "pacman -Syu" to run an update...  And moments later it suddenly started the shutdown process.
Now, whenever I boot up, I see the message below.  I tried booting from a GParted CD to check the filesystems for errors, but none were detected.
Can anyone suggest what I might need to do to fix the problem?
rootfs: clean, 11026/246512 files, 477083/984576 blocks

hadrons123 wrote:What happens when you do try the suggestion given by it?
I don't exactly know how I should "repair manually"...  I thought a filesystem check in GParted would have been enough...
lijpbasin wrote:You can boot the system using a archlinux live cd, and run fsck manually on every linux partition in the old system with options.
DON'T mount any of the filesystems before running fsck, or your data will probably be lost. If you want to check the partition information first, run fdisk -l with root privileges.
Thanks.  I tried booting from an ArchBang live CD last night and ran "e2fsck -pcv" on each partition.  The check completed, but the problem persists...  I just tried again using "fsck" as you suggested and got the following output (but the machine still fails to boot with the same error as before):
    fsck from util-linux 2.20.1
    e2fsck 1.41.14 (22-Dec-2010)

As mentioned already, the reason it's failing is because the /dev/sdb2 partition is mounted before it can be fsck'd. What is this partition exactly (which filesystem, what's on it, mountpoint,...)?
I'm not overly familiar with the Linux boot process, but why would it suddenly be mounting this partition before fsck-ing it?  Even if it was mounted when the netbook shutdown, surely the boot process starts with all partitions unmounted...?  Anyway, the partition details from /etc/fstab are below.
    <file system> <dir> <type> <options> <dump> <pass>
    tmpfs /tmp tmpfs nodev,nosuid 0 0
    /dev/sda1 / ext2 defaults,noatime 0 1
    /dev/sdb1 /home ext2 defaults,noatime,user_xattr 0 1
    /dev/sdb2 /usr ext2 defaults,noatime 0 1
I'm (now) aware that mounting /usr as a separate partition is a bad idea and (having read the "Error when booting with the new initscripts" thread), I have told pacman to ignore updates to the initscripts package (until I figure out how best to work round or fix that issue).
Shark wrote:Write umount /dev/sdb2 in konsole or unmount partition in gparted by right click on problematic partition and click unmount. Than proced.
If I type "umount /dev/sdb2" at the prompt, I get the following error:
    umount: /usr: device is busy.
(In some cases useful info about processes that use
the device is found by lsof(8) or fuser(1))
I tried "umount -l /dev/sdb2" to unmount when the device becomes free... but it never does.
I also booted into GParted, but there is no option to "unmount" /dev/sdb2.  There is a "mount" option in the menu, but it is greyed out.  If I open a terminal window from the GParted Live environment and type "sudo umount /dev/sdb2" I get the following message:
    umount: /dev/sdb2: not mounted
DSpider wrote:Are you mounting the root drive with "ro" (read only) in fstab?
No (as shown above).  I don't *think* I've messed anything up with fstab or any other config files -- everything was working perfectly till the netbook shutdown whilst pacman was running.
