Password error from old Airport G3 to new Extreme base

Hello,
Yesterday installed new Airport Extreme card + base to my iMac powerpc - works a treat.
The old powerbook G3 with its original Airport Express card finds the network on the base.
Both computers have OS 10.3.9
But the laptop returns " network password error ' each time I try to connect.
Password is 13chs.
Any ideas please.

Are you trying to use WPA2? If so your PowerBook G3 with an original AirPort card will not be able to connect. Only AirPort Extreme cards are able to use WPA2.

Could you please specify how exactly did you transfer Acrobat from one MAC to other.
You might need to deactivate the software from your old machine and then activate it on the new one with the same serial number (for Acrobat license) or Adobe credentials (for Acrobat subscription).
If you have done the same way, then let me know if you are able to open Acrobat itself.
Do you get any specific error message while opening a PDF?

Old airport (2003) versus new AEBS

Hi, what is the difference between the old airport versus the new? I have two macs & iphones that will be connected to it? Is it faster and better range? Both macs are intel. Any help is appreciated. I'm working from home and setting up my network and want to get the best connection I can get.

The circa 2003 Airport Extreme has 802.11b/g wireless, two 100 base-T Ethernet ports (dedicated LAN/WAN) and a USB port for printers only. A dialup phone modem and power over ethernet were optional features.
The newest AEBS (introduced today) is a much more capable unit. It offers simultaneous dual-band 2.4 and 5 GHz 802.11n and b/g modes so you don't have to compromise n speeds if you're also using b/g equipment. It has three Gigabit LAN ports and one WAN port. The USB port can also be used to connect a hard disk drive. It's also a lot less expensive than the original AEBS.
Before today you were limited to creating an 802.11g network if you wanted to use an iPhone with your home network. This eliminates that concern.
Better range... probably, I only say that since I have an Express "n" that's operating b/g compatible with my older AEBS. I have its transmitter power reduced to the minimum of 10% otherwise it dominates my home, and I want my older AEBS to serve as the primary access point.
The simultaneous dual band is a great move on Apple's part. It remains to be seen if Appletalk is supported - I'd rather doubt it since Apple seems to have turned its back on Appletalk as of late. No phone modem either

The 1st and 2nd gen iPod shuffle can only be used with one iTunes library (not "account") at a time. Your Apple ID and password does not matter. (Later shuffles can be used with more than one iTunes library, IF it is set to use the Manually manage music option.)
So, if you sync it with a different iTunes library, the previous content will be replaced. You need to offload the existing content to your new computer's drive as the first step.
You cannot transfer song files from iPod to computer using iTunes, except for songs purchased from the iTunes Store. However, there are third-party methods and utilities that can transfer from iPod to computer. If you do an Internet search on something like "ipod transfer," you should get some links. (The CNET article seems to be popular.)
Once the song files are on your computer's drive, you can add them to the iTunes library. After confirming all of your songs are there, sync your shuffle with that iTunes library.

I doubt they will. But then I'm not sure as I used a migration program once about 18 years ago and totally FUBARed the system I had at that time and I've never used one again.
For me the reason to have a new system is to start fresh. Installing only program that I now use and manually copying data over from the older system.
Not sure your older version of Outlook, and the outlook mail boxes, are compatible with Office/Outlook for Mac 2011.
A better place to ask this question would be on the MS Office for Mac forums.

Trying to download photos from IPHONE, IPAD to IPHOTO in IMAC after installing new hard drive.
How did you import the photos to iPad and iPhone?
If the photos have been synced to the iPhone and iPad using iTunes, you cannot sync them back.

What's the best way to transfer files from old Macbook Pro to new one? I know Migration assistant, but is there a recommended way? I don't want to put do a system restore or transfer everything from the old laptop, but I do want to move important things like photos, music, documents and such over. Any suggestions on best way to do this?
Another question, perhaps subquestion. If I have, say, an older version of iPhoto but a newer version of one on my new Macbook Pro, will it still transfer photos no problem?
Just looking for hints from the experts so this puppy is set up in the best way possible.

the problems are ALWAYS in the reverse way, when you have the newest (or a newer) version of a given app, and wish to transfer its library to an older version.

I have been using Martin Jahn’s iBackup, with which I have become accustomed and works fine. It also makes daily backups. Its advantage over other apps is that you may add whatever you wish to save, beside its default settings (which you may delete or cancel, of course, even if not recommended); it also has a friendly interface and easily customizable. Of course, this is a personal view, you may try other methods as well, or other backup apps. All are good if you are satisfied and correspond to your needs.

I am trying to get my old library onto my new computer and the best way for me to do that is take them off of my I Phone 3gs and "transfer purchases" but when I try it the "authorize this computer " shows up and it is already authorized! So I still give my info, and it tells me this computer is already authorized and then does nothing. It keeps going on like that, it's a frustrating circle!

Assuming that you've been syncing your iPhone 3 to your computer/iTunes, plug it in one last time and let it backup. Then plug in your 4S, and when 'setting up phone' choose the latest backup.
