Password failing

Why won't my password work when trying to update my apps??

Hello! My iphone was doing this for weeks and it was really annoying. Yet I could sign in on my ipad without a problem.
Turns out it had my old Apple ID on the iphone so it would not work (for somethings it did, but for the most part it didn't).
Anyway, I recommend you check your username and make sure it's your most recent version.
Good luck!

  • I am getting a Changing Password Failed error when I try to join an active directory

    I had a working AD configuration under Snow Leopard. When I upgraded to Mountain Lion, my account was no longer in sync with the domain. I got the red dot on the login screen and my domain password was out of sync. I unhooked from the domain at that point. This was several months ago.
    However, over the last few weeks, I keep finding myself locked out of the domain. I suspect it's something on my Mac that is trying to use my old credentials. I was hoping to rejoin the domain and see if I could get my account back in sync. When I get a domain admin to enter his password on the Directory Utility join screen, it first notes that the computer account already exists in the domain. I tell it to continue, but I can't get past this point:

  • Install - ABAP Engine - superdba password failed error

    Hallo,
    I have the J2EE Engine in my PC installed, and everything works fine. Now I am trying to install the ABAP Engine, and I get the error
    <b>"Check of the superdba user password failed. Check logfile XCMDOUT.LOG"</b>
    The error appears when I try to set the password for the superdba (Step 2 of the installation -> Define parameters)
    Does anybody know, what can I do?
    Thanks in advance
    Jones

    Hi,
    did you specify a password for the superdba user (=SYSDBA user) at some point during the installation? If yes, did you maybe use any special character?
    Thanks & regards,
    Roland

  • Attempt to Obfuscate password failed 10G on MAC

    Hi,
    I am trying to install oracle 10g on MAC OS 10.4.8.
    I am getting usual linker errors for which there is some information in this forum But I am not able to get solution for Attempt to obfuscate password failed error.
    I am consistantly getting this error while installation.
    Can somebody please help me out to get ride of this error....!!
    Thanks in advance...
    Karurkar

    I'm not sure whether this will help on MAC, but on some Linux platforms there's a similar problem, which is related to the JAVA environment. The given solution is:
    1. Log in as the user who is going to install the Oracle software
    2. export PATH=$ORACLE_HOME/bin:$PATH
    3. Remove any references to JAVA from your environment settings. For example, if your PATH
    contains, /usr/bin/java, remove it. Make sure there is no reference to any Java environment.
    4. In oraparam.ini from Disk1/install/ change to:
    JRE_MEMORY_OPTIONS=" -mx400m"
    from
    JRE_MEMORY_OPTIONS=" -mx300m"
    5. If OUI asks for JDK_HOME, manually specify the same. If required, ask your system administrator
    for the location of JAVA installation.

    Have you found a solution ?

  • Password fail message from iCloud

    I Am submitting this question for my cousin, who is receiving a Password Fail message on her iPad, iPhone and MacBook.  Just recently she changed her password to her Apple ID because of a possible security attack with her printer.  Since then she has been receiving Password Fail Messages from iCloud.  Since iCloud uses Apple ID as a login mechanism, she  is unable to initiate a question to this forum.
    she attempted to reset her password but when she did, she received a Security question, which she answered but she received a failure notification that her answer was incorrect.  I recommended she try again and she received the same fail notification and now she is locked out And still receiving password Fail notifications.
    IIs there anything this forum can recommend to remove the Fail alerts?

    It is a phishing attempt. Do not respond. Do not divulge any personal or financial information. You can use the address below to forward the suspect email message to Apple.

  • Synchronization of Passwords Failed

    Hi .
    While Automatic workflow customizing (SWU3)I get the following error: Synchronization of Passwords Failed.
    I tried to change the password for for user WF-BATCH, but it didnt help.
    I also tested the RFC in SM59 "WORKFLOW_LOCAL_800"  - it works fine.
    what else can I do?
    Thank You, LUCAS.
    ps. user WF-BATCH seems to be locked:  "Password logon not allowed (too many failed logons)" - should I unlock it somehow? and if so - HOW?
    Message was edited by:

    OK.
    I did it like this:
    I unlocked the user WF-BATCH
    I gave him my password
    then I typed this password while synchronization.
    It looks all right now.
    Anyway I wonder if there is any standard password for user WF-BATCH?

  • DDIC Password fails in middle of Solution Manager Installation

    I'm performing a new install of Solution Manager 7.0 (4.0) on HPUX IA64 11.23. This is a brand new Landscape. The installation has halted at phase 29/47 "Check DDIC password", and reports the error:
      Test login to SAP System SMA failed.
      SOLUTION: Make sure that the system is started, that the user DDIC exists and that the password of user DDIC is correct.
    From the SAPGUI 7.10., I was unable to login as DDIC or SAP. I used the master passwords given in the install. I also tried the default passwords as mention in another thread password '19920706' for DDIC and '06071992' for SAP.
    I was able to login with SAP* password PASS after adding login/no_automatic_user_sapstar=0
    to the default profile and restarting SAP, but was unable to change the DDIC password because change and transport system not configured.
    How do I get past this point in the installation process?

    This problem is now resolved. The problems of:
    1) The "Check DDIC password" phase of sapinst of SM 7.0 was failing with DB-Error 0.
    Fix: Install latest kernel patch. Problem was fixed with NW 7.0 kernel patch 133. I installed kernel patch 159. The kernel patch had to be installed via the old method of using SAPCAR to untar the files, backup kernel dir, shutdown sap, and copy files over to kernel dir. See note 19466.

  • LDIF Importing a user with a non-encrypted password fails, anywork arounds?

    I was able to import a group without issue:
    dn: cn=Authenticated,cn=Groups,dc=oraclelinux,dc=com
    description: test group
    objectClass: top
    objectClass: groupOfUniqueNames
    uniqueMember: cn=orcladmin,cn=People,dc=oraclelinux,dc=com
    cn: Authenticated
    But when I try to import a standard user:
    dn: cn=testuser2,cn=Users, dc=oraclelinux, dc=com
    userpassword:: password1
    description: test user
    objectClass: top
    objectClass: person
    sn: testuser2
    cn: testuser2
    It fails if I remove the password field then I can import the user without issue, but I need to include the password field as it is part of what was exported from the old LDAP Server.
    If I create a user in an ldif import it then add a password using oracle's Directory Manager upon exporting it the entry loks like:
    dn: cn=testuser, cn=Users, dc=oraclelinux, dc=com
    authpassword;orclcommonpwd: {MD5}fGoYCzaJagqMAnh+6vsOTA==
    authpassword;orclcommonpwd: {X- ORCLLMV}E52CAC67419A9A2238F10713B629B565
    authpassword;orclcommonpwd: {X- ORCLNTV}5835048CE94AD0564E29A924A03510EF
    authpassword;oid: {SASL/MD5}tUquh+Duowh2aWSEwONtcQ==
    authpassword;oid: {SASL/MD5-DN}lcQ7Z5O5vcwzXMeaZ65fYw==
    authpassword;oid: {SASL/MD5-U}AAWzkmDDCJLbs9mxoWBTiw==
    userpassword:: e1NIQX00NHJTRkpROXF0SFdUQkF2cnNLZDVLL3AyajA9
    description: test user
    objectclass: top
    objectclass: person
    sn: testuser
    cn: testuser
    Changing my imported ldif to look like the following WORKS:
    dn: cn=testuser2,cn=Users, dc=oraclelinux, dc=com
    userpassword:: e1NIQX00NHJTRkpROXF0SFdUQkF2cnNLZDVLL3AyajA9
    description: test user
    objectClass: top
    objectClass: person
    sn: testuser2
    cn: testuser2
    So the password must be encrypted then?, if so how to I generate a password hash on the command-line and through JAVA?
    Can an import be forced with a plain text password (Tivoli, SUN both support this functionality).
    Can I change the constraint that the password must contain a numeric char? (Found in document: http://download-uk.oracle.com/docs/cd/B28196_01/idmanage.1014/b15991/pwdpolicies.htm#g1051713)
    After fixing the constaints I can import a non-encrypted password from an ldif, but it can not be verified and only the authpassword;oid entries are created not the authpassword;orclcommonpwd entries.
    Thanks for your assistance,
    ERIC GANDT

    Eric, my first guess would be that the OID password policy prevents loading of the password i.e. the password doesn't match the existing password policy.
    What version is your "old" OID and what is the version of the current OID you're using?
    What is the error msg you get?
    regards,

  • Root password fails on auth to Solaris Management Console Server

    I've setup Solaris 10 x86 on a VA linux 1220 server, all is good so far except when I try to create additional users. I am logged in as root, and the root password logs in to the CDE, but fails on authentication to Solaris Management Console Server when I try to use any of the management apps like computers and networks or Users. So I'm stalled at the point where I should be configuring the system. I have been very careful about typing in the password exactly as I use it in the login screen, but it never works in the System Management tools for This Computer. The password I'm using is 26 characters long, is it too long? Or is there a step I'm missing?
    Thanks,
    Brian

    One of my famous guesses, but unless you changed the default password algorithm the maximum length of your password is 8 characters, when logging in on the console or desktop, anything typed after those eight characters will be ignored (unless this behaviour changed very recently).
    Its possibly that SMC, and its server component WBEM does not ignore the extra characters, which could cause this behavior.
    What happens if you try and login to SMC with the root user and only the first eight characters of your password?
    Btw, if this was the problem i think there is a way to change the default crypto algorithm to something that supports more characters.

    adobe fails to login and activate cs5 version  can't imegine the reason .
    anyone has some idea ???   please help

    The Adobe ID has nothing to do with activation, it is only required for CS Live services. Call support by phone regarding serial number issues. nobody here can help you with that. As for the rest simply check your networking stuff - sounds like a generic outbound connection problem/ failure/ blockage. Could be anything from your router to security tools...

  • OIM 11g setXellerate password fails with weird message on massive usage

    Hi,
    i have set up trusted reconciliation from a database table with OIM 11g (11.1.1.3). Now, the default password is the concatenation of two other fields and i have built an adapter that uses the setXelleratePassword method to set the OIM user password an attached it to the xellerate reconciliation insert event. Now, when running the reconciliation, the password is correctly set only for the first 10 users or so, after which i get this error for every following event.

    the error is quite generic, and does happen only when there is a "massive" reconciliation run. I thought about the open file limit and the connection pool max values, but in the logs there are no errors related
    What should i look at?
    Thanks in advance

    Hi
    Have you tried to change the reconciliation batch size to 1 or something?
    I had something similar with just one account getting updated by my post-process hanndler.
    Anyway how did you attach your adapter to the reconciliation insert event? I have been trying to do this but the list that comes back does include the adapter i have created when i tried to select and adapter to run.
    Please guide how you did on design console or gui.
    Thanks

    Hi tiffanyl,
    Are you able to login to your email account successfully via PC? If so, what type of email address are you using? If its a webmail account such as Gmail, you may need to Unlock the Captcha before adding it to your BlackBerry. http://bbry.lv/vxI1I6
    Hope this helps.

  • ITunes password fails for app updates

    My itunes password works for new app downloads and on computer, but fails when I try to update all apps, have triple checked the password for all and it is the same, any ideas?

    Hello,
    I believe the reason for your problem is that the apps were originally bought by your husband(The app is registered with his account). He therefore needs to update them for you. Then if you sync your ipod you can get the most updated app. If it is a free app you could just download it using your own itunes account so you could update the app yourself.
