Password for base unit asked at start-up??

Hello,
I have just purchased an Airport Extreme and followed the instructions by installing the CD first and then connected the Airport Extreme.
I use the Airport Utility to do the set-up but when I select continue it asks me for the base unit's password? I have tried to recet the unit on the back but still keeps asking for this password which I have no idea of.
Hope someone can help me?

To do a reset locate the the button on the back of the AE, while the AE is powered on use a pen or paperclip to depress the button, when the amber light starts blinking rapidly it has been reset to the factory defaults.
Try re-doing your installation by:
1. Starting Spotlight and typing Airport Utility
2. When AU starts then follow the on-screen instructions on installing it.
If you still run into problems you can contact Apple and they will help you install it.

I Have an internal table ITAB1 in that i have some 200 records. In that ITAB1 i have
MATNR and MEINS field and iam selecting those fields from MSEG table.
Now my requirment is i have to check for base unit of that particular.
example :
now let us say iam getting in my ITAB1.
MATNR      MEINS
M-123          EA
now i have to check the base material for that material. if both the base unit and what i got i same then its ok.        or    if the both are not same then it should convert to the base unit.
how can i do that.

To this FM u have to pass the material number, Input unit(itab1-meins), Output unit(Base unit-mara-meins), Quantity. In Importing parameter E_MENGE pass one variable. After FM call u will receive the converted value in this variable.
Just check the where used list of the FM to see the sample code.

I observed that you have closed lots of thread without a proper solution. How can you do that? Or what propel you to close the thread? The closure should be done by the person who have created the thread. Till he/she gets a proper reply or the problem is resolved why to close. It may take some time, some days also. Delay reply should not be the reason for closure.
So please avoid from closing unilaterally.

i need to give a start routine for my baseunit.
i need my baseunit always EA,
i get the data from the flat file , so what ever the unit they mention there in the flat file if it is not equal to 'EA', then it should take it as EA.
i gave code like this

then i got this error

Username and password For Base station Disk

I have a AEBS and i have a Lacie 500Gb Disk, i am trying to use the Backup feature on Windows Ultimate and it asks for a Username and password. dose any body have any ideas.
I have tryed it using the Accounts and it doesn't work i want to use the disk with the base station password.

Connecting to an Airport disk configured with a password (as opposed to account) manually in the Finder, you need to specify a username and password, even though the base station is only configured with a password.
However, it simply doesn't care about the username, you can put anything as long as the password is the right one. Try to do the same in your situation, a random username with the password configured for the Airport Disk. That might work!

If you have your wife under a different account you will need to get her a new Apple ID, then sign into that ID. Then sync her iPhone in iTunes, note the apps that your have under your Apple ID on her iPhone will not update unless you sign in with your Apple ID and password, if would be best if she erased her iPhone and re-downloaded the apps under her Apple ID. For her to start over, make sure that her pictures and movie files are backed up, then go into the settings>general>reset then tap erase all content and settings.

Password for startup of imac

My imac is set to ask for a password to restart after being on standby and for when changes etc are made to the computer.
How can I set a password for when the iMac actually starts? Why is this not a default situation especially if a password can be set for standby: anyone wanting to use the imac from standby could surely just hold the start button down for 10 seconds and then restart the machine.

Cannot switch base units on Goods Receipt PO copied from Purchase Order

I am wondering if there is a simple trick or setting for this or if we have to use a UDF/FMS...
When using Uom for sales and purchasing, you cannot switch between Yes and No for base units on the target document(GRPO) when copying a PO to GRPO.
For example, enter a purchase order selecting 'No' for base units and enter quantity 1 for item with Uom case(25 pcs in a case). 25 are ordered. If the warehouse receives 23 instead of a full case from the supplier, they want to be able to enter 23 on the GRPO(copied from PO). They don't want the warehouse staff calculating what percentage to put in for quantity (23/25 = 0.92), they would just like them to use the drop down box and change the base units to Yes and receive the quantity 23 units.
Any suggestions?

How often this would happen? If it is very frequent, my suggestion would be considering it when you create PO. You know, if you could change that option, the link between PO and GRPO will be broken. It is not recommended.

You would think they would set as default that Password was required - Imediatly . But they know there likely to get more purchases the way the default set it..

You should see an option to skip that step and then sign out of it when looking in Settings. Check out the article below for more information.

Though it's unlikely to be wrong if things were set up properly in the first place, as a check go to Mail Preferences>Accounts and check that the server setting for IMAP (incoming) is imap.mail.me.com (not just mail.me.com).
Your next step either way would be to go to System Preferences>iCloud and sign out, then sign back in again. (You can ignore warnings about data disappearing - your calendars etc. will disappear when you sign out but reappear when you sign back in).

I changed my apple id, but the cloud is not recognizing the new id. It keeps asking for the password for my old apple id, but when I enter it, it tells me it's incorrect.

I had no trouble changing it, but now when I try to use apps on my phone, they don't work (and they don't sync with the corresponding apps on my other apple devices). It keeps asking me for the password for my old ID. I have tried entering both (old and new, IDs and passwords) to no avail. I went to the store where I bought the phone (ATT) and they tell me that this is a common problem. Can I fix this myself or do I have to go to a store, which is a hassle?
