Password for my macbook

I had to send my MacBook Pro to AppleCare to fix a keyboard problem I had. I just got it back today and it's saying my login password is invalid even though I know that it is correct. I didn't loose any data when they fixed my computer.
I was wondering if this happened to anyone and if so, how they fixed it.

You should call AppleCare, since this is a issue that started after their repare. Perhaps the keyboard wasn't correctly repaired or it's in another language (it changes the keyboard lay out), making you then enter an invalid password

Boot to the Recovery HD:
Restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the COMMAND and R keys until the menu screen appears. Select the Recovery HD and click on the downward pointing arrow button.
When the menubar appears select Terminal from the Utilities menu. Enter resetpassword at the prompt and press RETURN. Follow instructions in the dialog window that will appear.

which model MacBook Pro do you have, and which version of OS X is installed on it? Was the password for an administrative user account, or for a standard user account, or was it a firmware password?

With Lion, restart your computer and hold both the Command and R keys. On the menu bar, choose Terminal. When Terminal opens there will be a cursor, you type:
resetpassword
And then press Enter.
You will then have a window, Reset Password, choose your user ID, and enter the new password in the two fields that appear, leaving the hint field blank. Click Save.
Warning appears that user's default Keychain password wasn't changed, click OK. Now at the lower part of the Reset Password window, click Reset your userID home folder permissions.
Click the app,e in the left corner and choose Restart.
You now have the new password you created, write it down. You will not lose any material on your system doing this.

Reset Password starting from Recovery HD
Start the computer,then press and hold down command and R keys to start into recovery partition.
When you see the Apple logo, release the keys.
Wait until OS X Utilities window shows up.
Move the mouse to the menubar at the top and click "Utilities", then select "Terminal"
from the drop down.
Terminal window will appear.
Type in resetpassword and press enter on the keyboard.
Leave the Terminal window open.
Reset Password Utility window will open with Macintosh HD selected.
Select the user account from the popup menu box.
Enter a new password.
Reenter the new password for the user.
Enter a hint.
Click the "Save" button.
Click  in the menubar and select Restart.
Log in.
If Keychain dialog box appears, select “Create New Keychain”.

This was discussed at length in other forums (can't be mentioned here) and there were several people (including myself) involved in some serious, different-scenarios testing. The utlimate goal was/is to publish an all-encompassing user tip since the entirely new/different licensing requirements are confusing at best; however, we have been stymied by a lack of definitive Apple policies on the iLife apps (another story).
So, no, there is no documentation from Apple, but the facts are that Command + R will need an Apple ID and will reinstall the current system, so that is only an option for someone who purchased Lion or ML at the app store (such as the current owner/seller). However, Command + Option + R can be used by the seller to get the machine back to its originally installed system (unless it was SL or previous of course). In an emergency, it can also be used by a buyer; however, the preferred method is to start with the original install media and upgrade from there using their own Apple ID.
When I first saw the new SLA, I submitted a bug report to Apple to be more specific with their instructions - that was shortly after Lion was introduced. I never received a reply.
